PRESIDENT NATALIA POKLONSKAYA SENDS TROOPS TO BLACKACRE AMID CIVIL WAR

Omahan Statesian Special Operations Authority soldiers walk through a street as they await orders. 250,000 troops have been allocated for the fighting, as well as the Navy of The Federation of The Omahan States, and the Federated Aereal Forces of The Federation of The Omahan States.

The President said that this is to deter the communist revolution happening in Blackacre. The President also spoke of the situation in Lilliputia, where she sent troops to back Smalltopian Peoples after a car bomb exploded in Omaha, done by the 'Lilliputian Freedom Fighters'. The group has been designated as a terrorist group, and the Oceanic Alliance of Nations has pledged full support in the invasion. Another topic is the Blackacran civil war, where five groups have started fighting, after the Omahan Statesian-Blackacran war.

Certification of the results of the Presidential Election
Today, the Ministry of Elections of The Federation of The Omahan States, as well as the Legislatures of all 14 states and republics, have officialized the results of the 2022 Omahan Statesian Presidential Election, where Natalia Poklonskaya 'survived' the first round with 50.08% of the vote, meaning that a second round will not be occuring. Here are the results:

Natalia Poklonskaya won 50.08% of the votes, Amber Heard won 23.79% of the votes, Brian Roberts won 10.96% of the votes, Chloé Amalie Dubois won 4.62% of the votes, Jonas Kiminijinai won 2.50% of the votes, Jiminjingi Batulijanjiomin won 2.20% of the votes, Michael R. Stevens won 1.65% of the vote, John Kelly won 1.61% of the vote, Bernardette Kelly won 1.44% of the vote, and Luis Triello won 1.15% of the vote.

HEATED ARGUMENT IN THE FEDERATED LEGISLATURE OVER MILITARY USE

The 68^th session of the year for the 3^rd Legislatuive Assembly of The Federated Legislature of The Federation of The Omahan States. it is the first to include members of the newly admitted state of Omahan Bigtopia.

Tensions have been flaring between the members of the legislature and President Natalia Poklonskaya over the continued use for over 3 months of The Armed Forces of The Federation of The Omahan States. Conflicts have included: War in Bigtopia, Ngai Quyhni-Blackacran War, and the intervention in the Blackacran civil war. President Poklonskaya was seeking the approval of The Federated Legislature to send The Ground Forces of The Federation of The Omahan States into Lilliputia, to help ally Smalltopia. The President has sent The Naval and Aereal Forces to both interventions, as well as The Special Operations Authority of The Federation of The Omahan States.

The President asked for the approval of the use of the main forces, justifying it by saying "The Federation of The Omahan States has a duty of defending the interests that it has. Such include the liberty of other nations, elimination of threats, and defending our allies". She had an exchange with the leader of the Liberation Party, Chloé Amalie Dubois, which said "this use of military force has led to many crises in other nations, because of presidential ambitions". Poklonskaya further added, "we have fought for this nation, we have to stay together as one!".

CERTIFIED RESULTS OF THE LEGISLATIVE ELECTIONS OF THE FEDERATED LEGISLATURE

The Election of The New Legislative Assembly Features the addition of Omahan Bigtopia, which allocated an additional 104 out of the new 105 seats in Parliament. The Confederationist Party of Natalia Poklonskaya gained majority again, but it formed a coalition with The Libertarian Party to achieve the 353 seat majority threshold. The New Assembly will elect leadership in a few hours.

As voters chose the President again, voters also participated in local and Federal Legislative elections, where the governing party gained 179 seats, and came back to power.
President Natalia Poklonskaya has stated,

We have achieved the majority Omahan Statesians wanted, and my government will work for the improvement of conditions in Omaha. Our focus is always the Omahan Statesian, so the party platform will be: (1) reducing taxes, (2) securing the security of the nation abroad, (3) ending all active military conflicts, and (4) providing a better nation for all Omahan Statesians.

The Ministry of Elections of The Federation of The Omahan States has released a seat share of all the states and republics, as according to the constitution. Each member represents 4,838,612 Omahan Statesians.

STUNNING TURN OF EVENTS AS NEW PRESIDENT OF THE FEDERATED LEGISLATURE IS ELECTED




As The Federated Legislature gathered to elect a new President, a message has been sent to President Poklonskaya over the fight about the use of the military.
The Federated Legislature was expected to vote Diana Morant, a close friend of Natalia Poklonskaya, as President of The Federated Legislature of The Federation of The Omahan States, for the second time. The Legislators instead voted for fellow Confederationist Josh Hawley, of George. The Narrow vote proved a surprise, but the most surprising factor is that 250 out of the 344 members of the Confederationist Party voted for Hawley, compared to 144 for Morant.

President Natalia Poklonskaya met with the new President of The Federated Legislature Josh Hawley. The discussed many issues involving Omahan Statesian troops, tax reform, manufacturing, ect.
President Natalia Poklonskaya said,

I was upset that it was Hawley who got elected, but we discussed our differences and found our similarities to start working for all Omahan Statesians

Josh Hawley said,

President Poklonskaya and I established the plans for the military, and other issues to improve the lives of Omahan Statesians. We are commited to provide peace to the people of The Federation of The Omahan States, and we have to discuss solutions to the conflicts going on.

INTERVIEW WITH PRESIDENT POKLONSKAYA ABOUT CURRENT ISSUES

President Natalia Poklonskaya met with Minister of State News and Bulletins Jennifer Psaki

Good to meet with you President Poklonskaya. Today there have arisen a few situations that your government is taking care of. First is the protests in The Temporary Occupation Zone of Blackacre by The Federation of The Omahan States; Second is the deadlock in the Federated Legislature over military action. How are you planning to address these issues?

To address the first issue. I have met with the leaders of the coalition which constitutes the government, and we have come up with the following: We will be holding an election in The temporary Occupied Territories of Blackacre to establish what the popular opinion is: do they want to re-join Blackacre, do they want to be independent, or do they want to join The Federation of The Omahan States. We discussed these various options to the fullest extent, and we have considered all options available since we have established military bases in the Elviran Islands. The elections would take place within the archipielago we have occupied, as well as parts of the territory claimed by Ngai Quyhn, since there has been a resistance to the integration. I can assure every Omahan Statesian, that our efforts made in the Elviran Islands will be accomplished, even if we have to recognize them as another country.
On the second issue. I have addressed the leaderships of the government and opposition, and we are close to making a deal. I have defended the use of Omahan Statesian troops which have: (1) guaranteed the safety of the sea access by The Federation of The Omahan States; (2) adding Omahan Bigtopia into The Federation of The Omahan States. We have also created the Oceanic Alliance of Nations, which has ensured the security of our area. Current military conflicts with Omahan Statesian troops include: The Civil War in Blackacre, and The Smalltopian-Lilliputian border conflict, in which we have intervened due to the explosion in Omaha by the Lilliputian Freedom Fighters. I have assured the Federated Legislature that once these conflicts are over, we will reduce the frequency of military use.

Psaki further asked:

What is your plan for the economy amid sanctions from The United States of Aaral? They announced sanctions following militarty action in Lilliputia. Do you think that is why the Legislative Assembly wants to limit military action?

Poklonskaya replied:

Well, the sanctions imposed by our largest vehicle trade partner has affected the automobile manufacturing industry, but not too much. With projects to revitalize roads, infrastructure, and other projects we have been able to make up for these losses, and now Omahan Statesians make more money after taxes than before. The Legislative Assembly has its motives, but we have been coordinating with the leaderships of the government and the other parties, and we have come up with agreements on what is to be done with Lilliputia. As I mentioned, we will be reducing military operations as we have agreed. I have requested an increase in military funding, which has been approved, since we are facing more threats from The Empire of Jmadje, and the Sultanate of Awellia Andenronia, which has been supplying terrorists with materials in Omahan Bigtopia and the Republic of Bigtopia.

Hello everyone, today we have carried out an operation to arrest officials involved in corruption. We have arrested a total of 30 officials, among those there is Amber Heard, Foreign Minister of The Federation of The Omahan States.
Amber Heard has been accused of using her position as Foreign Minister to:

Asking for Bribes in Exchange for Priority in Foreign Affairs
Taking Bribes from Marche Noiran Officials to Delay the Process of Return of Expatriated Persons to The Federation
Using her Position as Foreign Minister to Settle Personal Affairs through Passport Law Meddling

As leader of the Conservative Alliance in the Federated Legislature, Heard has been accused of:

Using Legislative Powers to Obstruct Government Activities to Benefit Allies
Avoiding Official Policy and Using Political Influence to Practice her Role as Foreign Minister

Her alleged charges include:

Embezzeling
Kickbacking
Using Official Positions for Personal Matters
Interfering with Official Government Functions for Personal Gain
Breach of Duty
She also faces a Treason charge, which could see her serving 15 years of hard labor at a penal institution.
and a charge for Consipiring with Foreign Governments

Muldrow further said:

If you have been involved in corruption activities, turn yourself in, don't wait for us to come knocking at your door at 6 in the morning.

This has affected the approval ratings of President Natalia Poklonskaya, as she hass been pushing to extend term limits in the Constitution for more terms. Hwe approval rating dropped from 60% to 55%.

BLACKACRAN CIVIL WAR HEATS UP AS FEDERATED LEGUSLATURE UNEXPECTEDLY VOTES FOR INVOLVEMENT

The news of the moment has been that the Federated Legislature, in a close 390-315 vote, approved the mobilization of The Armed Forces of The Federation of The Omahan States, meaning that every branch of the Armed Forces has been aurthorized for military use.
This is an unexpected move, as the Federated Legislature and President Natalia Poklonskaya had been fighting for weeks over the excessive use of the military.

ELVIRAN ISLANDS CHOOSE INDEPENDENCE

In a close 44.12% to 35.22%, the citizens of The Temporary Occupation Zone of Blackacre by The Federation of The Omahan States have chosen to become ajn independent country, presumably The Republic of Elviran Islands.

Citizens were asked if they wanted to become an independent republic, join The Federation of The Omahan States, or return to Blackacre.

The Governor-General of The Temporary Occupation Zone of Blackacre by The Federation of The Omahan States, Dr. Laurel Neff, officially handed the election results to President Poklonskaya and The Federated Legislature.

Dr. Laurel Neff stated that the vote was carried out in a normal manner, administered by the Ministry of Elections of The Federation of The Omahan States.

The voting area is circled. Navy Blue denotes Omahan Statesian control whilst Purple denotes Ngai Quyhni control.

President Natalia Poklonskaya declared that she and The Federated Legislature have drafted and ratified an independence treaty with The Republic of Elviran Islands, where The Federation of The Omahan States will grant independence in exchange for the stationing of Omahan Statesian troops in ports around the nation.

OMAHAN STATESIANS VOTE TO BECOME KINGDOM

After Joint Resolution 1 of the 4th Legislative Assembly of The Federated Legislature, the legislature approved a referendum asking Omahan Statesians two questions on whether The Omahan States should become a Kingdom.
Voters were faced with the following questions:

Question 1: Should the Federation of The Omahan States adopt a Monarchy system?

Question 2: Should President Natalia V. Poklonskaya become the Monarch of The Omahan States, shall question 1 be accepted?

This comes after discussions on what to do regarding the military situation in Blackacre, and Lilliputia, since it was argued that because of the Federated system, some representatives of each state threatened to move a vote to change the system, preferrably to allow some states more autonomy.

Voting in all States

Question 1: Should the Federation of The Omahan States adopt a Monarchy system?

Question 2: Should President Natalia V. Poklonskaya become the Monarch of The Omahan States, shall question 1 be accepted?

Voting was seen in surprising proportions. Question 1 received overwhelming support, with a 272,757,648 yes-no vote difference. Question 2 on the other hand showed a more close result, suggesting that many Omahan Statesians did not support President Natalia Poklonskaya in what was her fourth general election; it had a a 56,180,336 yes-no vote difference. The Republic of Vominjin had the most astounding vote result, as it had a 99.58% voter turnout, and it reported: Question 1: 3% yes, 97% no; Question 2; 0.98% yes, 99.02% no.

Joint Resolution 1 includes the procedures should the questions be approved. The Federation of The Omahan States has to change its name to The Kingdom of The Omahan States. President Natalia Poklonskaya will now become Queen Natalia Poklonskaya, which will have absolute powers over the government and foreign relations. The Federated Legislature will remain, and will have the same functions as have been prescribed in the Constitution. The main difference in this change is that Natalia Poklonskaya will have the position without the need for re-election, and the Presdient of The Federated Legislature will have the responsibilities to notify the Monarch of all law changes, which the Monarch can accept or deny into law.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has to notify all nations dealing with The Omahan States of the change.

CORONATION OF QUEEN NATALIA POKLONSKAYA

Queen Natalia Poklonskaya was crowned at the Presidential Palace, which will now be reffered to as Omahan Palace.

The Queen gave a statement, saying that "The People of the Omahan States have chosen me to be their Monarch, and I am honored by their choice. I will serve all Omahan Statesians in equality"

BATTLE FOR VALERIA, CAPITAL OF BLACKACRE

A Member of The Anakinland Regiment of The Special Operations Authority of The Kingdom of The Omahan States patrolling an alleyway in Dištrito Eštrano, Western Valeria, Blackacre This has been a report by Omaha 1 Digital Editor, Gabi Marjaluijeluî “After 12 hours of intense combat, we have been able to take the Western part of Valeria. We have been working alongside the Provisional Government of Blackacre, and we are about 15 minutes from the party headquarters. We are almost done with the objective of taking the capital, and it will be done.” The soldier was referring to the fighting that has occured around the capital of Blackacre, Valeria, which has been in the middle of an attack by The Provisional Governmental Forces of The Kingdom of Blackacre, in collaboration with The Omahan States. The city was partially destroyed by bombing during its invasion of Ngai Quyhn, when The Omahan States launched airstrikes throughout the country, after Blackacre refused to aknowledge an ultimatum issued by President Natalia Poklonskaya, which demnded that Blackacran troops did not harm Omahan Statesian civillians in the town of Tak Mat, which is majority Omahan Statesian. The civil war has left the city in ruins, and there is still fighting going on, as the focus of troops is now the headquarters of the party of Supreme Leader Valeria Drake, which has moved to the mountains to avoid the war.

The Provisional Forces have made advancements in the South Elviran island, while the Main Land of Blackacre has been conquered by the Communist forces, which have taken a lot of territory from The Provisional Forces. Forces of The Kingdom of The Omahan States have reinforced the Provisional Government in South Elvira, and the cities of Valeria, and Elvira.

The Cities

The city of Valeria, the capital of Blackacre, has come under an offensive by The Provisional Government forces of The Kingdom of Blackacre and The Kingdom of The Omahan States. They captured about 1/3 of the city, and have been moving towards the capitol.


The city of Elvira, which Omahan Statesian and Provisional forces have almost cut off from water access. The city has braced itself from the attack, and it is estimated that it will be the most contested city in the civil war, since the forces at the capital have signaled that there will be a retreat.

VALERIA AT A TURNING POINT, ELVIRA ABOUT TO FALL AS OMAHAN STATESIAN TROOPS MAKE PROGRESS

The Provisional Forces have made advancements along Omahan Statesian troops in the cities of Elvira and Valeria. The city of Elvira has had one of its main port areas cut off from the rest of the city, meaning that the city is cut in two. In Valeria, Omahan Statesian forces have made advancements in the North, while Provisional Forces have retreated to one of the ports of the capital, as The Empire of Jmadje has pledged full military support to the Drake regime.

The city of Valeria, as troops make advandecemts in the north. The south-western part of the country is seeing the first of the pledged Jmadjan troops in Blackacran territory.

The city of Elvira, as the main port area in the center has been captured by Omahan Statesian and Provisional Government troops. The main points of battle are: The "Dištrito Šoberano" located at the south west, where the finances and trade of Blackacre are carried out. The second includes "La Peninšula Elvira" in the center, where the Nuclear Power Station that powers the city is located. The third big district, located in the middle, "Dištrito Blackacro" is where the main industrial capacity of Blackacre is located. Omahan Statesian Armed Forces, and Oceanic Alliance of Nations intelligence have not yet seen any Jmadjan movement, since the naval blockade in Blackacre is making it difficult for troops to move in.

QUEEN POKLONSKAYA LASHES AGAINST ADMINISTRATION FOR LACK OF SUCCESS IN BLACKACRAN CIVIL WAR

Queen Natalia Poklonksya is told about the current situation in Blackacre, and the progress in the cities of Elvira and Valeria. This has been a report by Omaha 1 Digital Editor, Gabi Marjaluijeluî The Queen was informed about the arrival of Jmadjian troops to the city of Valeria, and the delayed operations that were supposed to present the fall of Valeria, the capital city of Blackacre Queen Natalia Poklonskaya was agitated when she was told about the ongoing military campaign, where Omahan Statesian troops are involved in establishing the Provisional Government of The Kingdom of Blackacre as the ruling power in the country. This has come after Jmadje has declared that they will mobilize half of their army to Blackacre, to keep the current government of Valeria Drake in power. The United States of Aaral have also spoken, they have taken no side and have established further sanctions on The Omahan States, which include their military and vehicular trade industries. The Queen said, "How can there be a level of incompetence as to allow Jmadjan troops to enter Blackacran territory, after our blockade was set? Why are we losing ground in Valeria, and why are we not maintaining our plans in action?" she further added, "I am going to warn you Mr. President [Hawley] that if you don't achieve the goals of the campaign by a week from now, I will be calling an election. As for the Ministry of Defense, if we do not have the fall of Valeria, I will be replacing the Minister of Defense.

SURPRISE RESULTS AFTER QUEEN POKLONSKAYA CALLS ELECTION


After what Queen Poklonskaya called "a failure by the Legislature", she called an election for the Federated Legislature, which was carried out over the weekend and saw the following results:

Queen Poklonskaya's Monarchist party lost many of the seats it held
The Libertarian Party, which had formed a government coalition in the last legislature, gained the most seats out of any party, and 47 out of the 91 libertarians have joined the Monarchist party in the opposition.

The current number of members in the government are:
317 in Oppostion (262 Monarchists, 47 Libertarians, and 8 Independents)
388 in the government (198 Democrats, 82 Federationists, 44 Libertarians, 18 Vominjinians, 33 Liberationists, and 13 Independents).

It has been the second time Diana Morant, an old friend of Queen Natalia Poklonskaya and former President of the Confederate Legislature, has been involved in a Presidential election that was decided by a single vote. In this occasion, she won the election, as 52 out of the 82 Federationists decided not to support AnnaSophia Robb in her quest to become President of The Federated Legislature. This will be an interesting government, since Diana Morant will be President of The Legislature, but she will need to borrow at least 36 votes if she wants to achieve anything.

Queen Natalia Poklonskaya said the following:

I have heard what the people of The Omahan States have said. They have decided to replace our party, and I will do my best to negociate with the Legislature. I am very happy that my friend, Diana Morant, who has experience in this post, will be again President of The Federated Legislature, and i know that with her experience she will be a unifying leader in the Legislature.

The Capital city of Blackacre, Valeria, has been captured by Omahan Statesian Special Authority Troops and Blackacran Provisional Government troops. After 2 months of fighting in the civil war. The govenment troops communicated with the Omahan Statsian troops and established an organized retreat. Government troops are retreating and leaving the city through the ports.

LEAKED EMAIL SHOWS CONSPIRACY TO PROLONG THE WAR IN BLACKACRE

Yesterday, Omaha 1 received a report from an anonimous sorce claiming that the Minister of Finance, Clarence Hawkins, was planning to conspire with fellow Ministers Neff and Truss to prolongue the conflict in Blackacre. This comes after Queen Natalia Poklonskaya decreed that the Omahan shall be backed by gold, months after first backing it with the gold standard.

The Ministers conspired by planning to support militants in Blackacre, with the goal to steal Blackacre's gold reserves. This comes after the mining industry took a heavy hit, since the current gold deposits in the country are almost running empty.

The Queen responded to the actions of the Ministers by saying,

I told the finance minister to buy gold from foreign countries, but aparrently he did not understand how to do it. I am deeply disappointed in the failure of these ministers, and have taken the following decisions: I will fire minister Clarence Hawkins, and will refer him to the Ministry of Justice, and the attorney general. As for ministers Truss and Neff, I will meet with them in the following days to discuss their involvement in the scheme, and will take a decision on the matter. I assure all Omahan Statesians that our objective is to get our troops back home as soon as possible, when the war in Blackacre is settled.

QUEEN POKLONSKAYA ANNOUNCES ELECTION

Queen Natalia Poklonksya addresses the public, after Resolution 56, which expands the federated legislature was signed by her. This has been a report by Omaha 1 Digital Editor, Gabi Marjaluijeluî Queen Natalia Poklonskaya signed Resolution 56, which adds 295 posts to the federated legislature, making the total number of seats 1,000. The Monarchist Party, alongside other members of the federated legislature, crafted and passed legislation that will expand the number of delegates in the federated legislature from 705 to 1,000. They quoted the increased representation of the body, as states can have seats proportionally to their population percentage. They also included a salarial reduction from ф70,000 Omahans to ф50,000 per year for members. The Queen said, I have signed resolution 56, since it gives the best representation to the people of the Omahan States in the federated legislature. This measure will ensure that all States re accounted for, as well as our citizens. Therefore, I will be calling a general election to elect a new legislature. The Queen and the Monarchist party have faced backlash, with opposition leaders saying that the general election is a power grab, and they have argued that an election for 295 of the 1,000 seats could have been carried out, and accused the Queen of putting up all 1,000 seats to election as 'a plan to take full control of the government'

This was the case after the new Federated Legislature approved a rules package which restricts candidates to two. This was enacted after the election which saw Stefanik rise as leader, since it took 9 rounds for her to be elected.
