Civil War Season coming to a close! What to expect:

As modern politics continues to develop, alongside powerful alliances with it, the period of conflict known as Civil War Season is starting to come to its end. As many readers may know, this is the second Civil War Season which the Marajarbian Government has played a major role in. Although this Civil War Season was less extreme than the previous one, the geopolitical changes that are currently being experienced have been deemed as necessary as the world starts to undergo major turning points. Soon, the major alliances of modern times will fall on their own due to internal issues such as inactivity on the world stage or a lack of active member states, and a chaos period leading up to the next Civil War Season will begin. So, to summarize Marajarbia's role in Civil War Season, it is time to look back at these events, and hope that the understanding of these events will define the future:

-GCN-ACI Cold War:

The Global Confederation of Nations, in an attempt to merge the Anti-Communist International into it, aggressively pursued a rivalry with it, resulting in a Cold War in which Muqaddasia returned to the world stage after a long period of isolation, new allies were made in the form of Erloane and what is now the Visegrad Empire, and old allies became new enemies in the form of the KTO. By the end of this particular event, Civil War Season had broken out with the creation of the Kalisight Treaty Organization and the brutal conflict which was the Aursian Civil War.

-Aursian Civil War:

The young nation of Aursi, what can be deemed as the starting point of the GCN-KTO Cold War, the creation of the International Humanitarian Coalition, the start of good relations between the Marajarbian Federation and Aursi, the starting battle of this Civil War Season, or a mere brutal proxy conflict, is where history was made. The Kalisight Treaty Organization pursued an aggressive campaign of "containing" the GCN at the time, resulting in the filibustering of various treaties, as well as what can be seen as the start of Janpian relations with the Aquarians, but it was also where the Gralovians made themselves known in international politics.

-GCN-KTO Cold War:

The GCN and KTO factions fought hard, in what appeared to be an endless struggle for power within multiple proxy conflicts, including at least one major event, the creation of what was once the United Liberation Organization and the temporary end of Slavery. The Cold War in and of itself was brutal, and ended officially at the IHC made Yerevan Summit, with a treaty that allowed for a permanent Non-Aggression Pact to be made.

-Creation of the GENA:

The former Global Entente of Nations and Alliances, while a failure, did end up managing to be created and in and of itself made history by uniting alliances through the diplomatic and peaceful efforts made against it due to its overwhelming size and continued unpopular campaign of expansion in the eyes of many in the international community.

So, now with many geopolitical changes taking place as an immediate result of the GENA's dissolving, resulting in not only the uniting of the current 3 factions in the form of the International Humanitarian Coalition, Berlin-Vienna Pact, and Kalisight Treaty Organization, but also a power vacuum in which the effect will be felt upon the end of this Civil War Season and endless cycle of alliance conflict after alliance conflict. Time will tell if by the start of the next Civil War Season, these events will have made history.

Alliances “appear to be shutting down” says Government:

The modern alliances of the world, the KTO, IHC, and B-V Pact to be precise, have not been seen as active ever since the dissolution of the former Global Entente of Nations and Alliances. This has made the Marajarbian Government believe that some of these alliances, such as the KTO or B-V Pact, have already shut down completely or are in the process of shutting down while the IHC is undergoing a slow period of reorganizing.

As the UADC is now undergoing development, seeking to not succeed the World Assembly and only seeking being a normal alliance as the Marajarbian Federation does not seek to lead it, but rather only contribute to it. The UADC so far seems to be on the path towards a decent opening day, with a partnership between the upcoming UADC and TPA already in the works.

Marajarbian Federation considers leading UADC temporarily!

Following concerns regarding yet another possible isolation period from Marajarbian ally Muqaddasia over the course of the recent days, the Marajarbian Government has been considering running for UADC leadership in the elections in the place of Muqaddasia. The following plan, developed by Marajarbian Emperor Jackson, Foreign Minister Mike Mohammed, and top diplomat Carl Williams, is set to be the forefront of the Marajarbian agenda for the UADC should Marajarbia win the election:

The Jackson-Mohammed Plan:

-Council of Leaders: A council of elected leaders meeting certain criteria will be elected every year by members of the UADC, and will be led by the UADC President. The council will directly be led by the president, and can depose a president should the president be deemed as unfit to be in power. The council will also be the sole governing body that will lead the UADC.

-Further Unity of Alliances: During every merger attempt, a specific criteria in which majority vote of 45% in target alliances and 60% in the main alliance vote aye towards a merger between alliances, and if the alliance being targeted is pro-UADC or UADC leading while also having qualities which give it worth as per the worth-based system policy will be added as a permanent policy for as long as the UADC is active.

-Pursuing good diplomatic relations: Unlike the GENA, the UADC will pursue strong diplomatic ties with various nations and alliances all over the world, including the Pacific Alliance and Unlambian Foreign Aid Committee. This will hopefully strengthen ties to other major political figures such as the Mereticans or the Janpians, or even the Olpenese and Aquarians.

-Expanding colonialism: Due to ties with monarchies in the past, this proposal would be an effort spearheaded by the Marajarbian Government to expand alliance laws regarding colonialism, in order to improve life in colonies such as East or West Mystery Realms.

-Back to traditional values: If the Marajarbians are elected, the UADC will not be a successor to the World Assembly like the predecessors of it ended up being, but it would rather be a mega-alliance with the Council of Leaders, and a boardroom to pass laws and discuss varying events all over the world.

Marajarbian Government to aid TPA, prepare UADC to deal with upcoming power vacuum!

As another chapter of history comes to a close, and the brutal second Civil War Season starts coming to a hopefully happy ending of the reconstruction of the fractured free world, the Marajarbian Government has unanimously come to the conclusion that, when the existing big factions collapse to start this reconstruction process, only two alliances will still remain and/or exist to lead the world forward towards the next Civil War Season. These alliances are none another than the United Alliance of Defense and Cooperation as well as The Pacific Alliance.

The UADC is the big mega-alliance, made up of a series of 16 alliances and counting, but unlike its predecessors, this alliance will not be a successor to the World Assembly. While the World Assembly has its blatant corruption issues, it has been deemed that WA successor alliances are no longer popular within the international community at large. The UADC hopes to become a major power under more experienced leadership that will lead the world forward by following the ideals of democracy and diplomacy, while also being less and less of a bureaucracy, going back to more traditionalist values.

The Pacific Alliance is a NATO-esque alliance. However, unlike the NATO which ended up becoming a crucial part of the GCN, which the former United Federation of the past had to fight for, TPA is more eager and more cooperative. The leadership of TPA listen to the members during each meeting, and has managed to accomplish many good deeds, from its intervention in Acornesia to the planning of a peaceful trade summit between two of the largest modern superpowers with major global influence. So far, TPA is currently undergoing its fifth official meeting, but there is hope among the Marajarbian populace that, should elections for TPA take place, the alliance will survive the upcoming power vacuum and be among one of the post-CWS alliances to exist and thrive.

Summit between Marajarbian Federation and Janpia "likely to be held" says TPA Representative!

It has not been long since the GENA dissolved, and it has not been long since the effect of power vacuums and complete chaos have plagued the world. Now, with the end of Civil War Season coming very soon, and the effect of geopolitical changes being felt all over the world because of it, one of the last things on Emperor Jackson's Civil War Season Agenda is to try to get the government of Janpia, one of the modern superpowers and second official rival to the Marajarbian Government in world history, to engage in a permanent trade relationship to prove to the world that friendly relations have been established between both superpowers.

Who will hold this summit, then? Why, that comes in the form of The Pacific Alliance. TPA is a small NATO-esque alliance which has proven itself to have been far better than the NATO that the original United Federation fought against so long ago. So much so that the Marajarbian Federation has put a lot of time and effort into ensuring its success as an alliance that will survive the upcoming end to Civil War Season. With the TPA also having close Marajarbian allies within its halls, this could also result in the upcoming summit proving to be successful in acquiring a permanent commercial agreement for both sides.

The Marajarbian Government has formally sanctioned high ranking officials of the sole ruling Janpian Socialist "Party", including current Janpian KTO representative Helmin and People's Marshall Natya Anya, for statements made earlier this afternoon resulting in the threat of action against Marajarbian shipping. The Marajarbian Populace, enraged by the threat, have called for the government to make a request to more international authorities to arrest the Janpian PM for attempts at disturbing the peace. The Marajarbian Government has warned that if the KTO so much as seizes any Marajarbian goods in international waters, the retaliatory measures will be far stronger in response.

The Marajarbian Federation is looking to expand and enter new or ongoing trade agreements with various other nations around the world. Among those listed, there is the Commonwealth of Lisamia, The Aquaria, The Southern American Federation, Gralov, Armenia, NSAR, and Countesia listed as some of the potential candidates for trade deals, with the Aquarians being fairly isolated and being among one of the hardest nations to try to sign any trade agreement with.

There is hope that some trade agreements end up being signed and/or expanded to serve as infrastructure agreements, with some of these nations being strong diplomatic powers or close Marajarbian allies, as there is expected to be a little bit of economic trouble due to the KTO threatening action against Marajarbian vessels in international waters. It is expected that signing such trade agreements, as well as the replacement of most maritime routes with land routes, would limit the impact of such trouble and serve as a small taste of retaliatory measures against the KTO's anti-Marajarbia stance as well.

Janpians, they've destroyed the Middle East, ransacking Muqaddasia. They almost nuked Aursi, and ruined peace summits time and time again. They've threatened and they've acted, destroyed, killed, and it is the forefront of the Janpians and their imperialism. A one-party socialist state that, time and time again, has used a racist rhetoric ever since the Galapagos Occupation to try to "contain" The Marajarbian Federation. Contain, which in their words means harm, as their KTO has kept in line with their militaristic and authoritarian shtick while the Marajarbian Federation does its part in attempting to make the world a better, democratic, peaceful, and above all else, prosperous place. We've seen firsthand rivalries, as evidenced with the Mereticans last Civil War Season, but the recent imperialist proposal to harm Marajarbian businesses and the Marajarbian economy is firsthand evidence that the KTO never wanted peace, and just wishes to commit to cultural genocide and the end of a people. Nevertheless, the people they "fight" against are a hope, and a unified one, with that hope being that the good of the international community at large will prevail under the KTO's order of Evil and Chaos.

Therefore, the Marajarbian Government officially condemns the Janpians and the KTO they lead, and calls on the entirety of the international community to contain the Janpians so that they learn from the flaws their very logic, and understand the consequences of their actions in an international trial within an unbiased international court of law, and are held accountable. For the Marajarbian Government shall not rest until the scum that is the Janpians are held accountable.

Several hours after the press conference in which Prime Minister James Emmanuel announced to the international community that the Kalisight Treaty Organisation had approved a complete blockade of all Marajarbian merchant traffic, the Countesian Ministry of Defence has officially confirmed that ships from several Countesian naval bases dotted across the globe have taken to international waters and to begin their first patrols to intercept and impound any civilian vessel registered to Southeast Marajarbia. They will be working closely alongside Janpian, Gonswanzan, Lakan and Neo-Korean ships, as well as with ships from other KTO states to weaken the Marajarbian economy by cutting off access to the nations most profitable trade routes.

Knowing full well that similar actions would likely be taken against their own merchant vessels, the Countesian Ministry of Defence has further announced that all Countesian civillian vessels not currently charting a course through international waters must refrain from doing so whilst it positions its own ships to escort cargo vessels across its own key trade routes. Spokespersons from the MoD have apologised for the delays that will ensue, and to the negative impact such an decision will have on the economy for the weeks to follow, but re-iterates that such measures are necessary to prevent Countesian vessels from being impounded by Southeast Marajarbia and its allies.

Additionally, the Ministry of Immigration has gone on to issue a travel warning for any Countesian national currently residing within any nation-states to have joined the Marajarbian BSM against Janpia, stating that they are not able to guarantee their safety, but will cover the full cost of any flight or ferry that can return them home within 72 hours. The Marajarbian Government is expected to rapidly increase the signing of new trade agreements and defensive pacts this week as Janpian aggression and imperialism has resulted in both Marajarbia and Janpia sanctioning one another and gaining allies because of it. These trade agreements, on Marajarbia’s part, will likely increase shipping as well as help the economy due to the Janpian embargo effectively starting a major trade war to end off Civil War Season. Such trade agreements will also be used as an example as to why Marajarbia will not back down until the Janpian Government resigns or until the KTO legislation repeals the law which started the trade war.

So far, many nations, few with strong navies, have signed on to the Janpian Boycott, Disinvestment, and Sanctions Document, aimed primarily at escorting Janpian ships, or seizing multiple Janpian products on aforementioned ships, as a retaliatory measure against Janpian Imperialism. The Janpian Response to this is yet another denial that the Janpian Government is imperialist and the pointing of fingers towards the Marajarbian Government, due to attempts to succeed the World Assembly and create a truly free and fair system of Global Governance that leaves a big impact on global geopolitics.

The ships are merely being escorted, with the boarding and seizure of goods as outlined by the BDS only happening if there is an aggressive stance used in retaliation by the Janpian Government directly.

With the ships being surrounded, the Revolutionary Navy in the area began warning the Marajarbian vessels, stating to not board it. Further pursuance would result to the boarding party getting fired upon. This is all thanks to the shipping permit released by the Revolutionary Maritime Guards, enabling Janpian warships to escort any vessels and among others in an efficient manner, placing naval presence to the said trade routes. Missiles auto-directed by the Revolutsiya CMS targeted the Marajarbian escort vessels, aiming them down with a hypersonic sea skimming missile. Furthermore, the warship, which is identified as JRS Kolbanov, a Katyacha-Class Destroyer, continued on warning the Marajarbians to stop it from boarding, and to let the vessels continue its course. It is set that after 6 warnings, the ships would automatically launch the said missiles, which was authorized under Naval Directive Order 274. Furthermore, if the ship is about to enter Marajarbian territory, the ship will not hesitate to launch missiles and appropriate armaments to deal the entirety of the Marajarbian escorts.

Marajarbian Vessel/s, halt or face the consequences! Present and prepare to be boarded. I'll repeat! Halt and prepare to be boarded! You are in our radar jurisdiction, and we will not hesitate to shoot!

While all this continues, MH-2N Petrel helicopters and RHIBs were sent to intercept them, carrying 2 IR seeking missiles, 1 torpedo, and a squad of Revolutionaries, ready to take on and defend Janpian vessels if landed. Furthermore RHIBs carrying MG's, and a man-held ATGM were sent to intercept and board the Marajarbian vessels to interdict and impound them. They also carried 2 hand-launched drones, capable of laser marking the ships, providing further accuracy and intel back to JRS Kolbanov

"We are here to escort these ships through our territorial waters, by the Marajarbian Government's orders. Continued hostilities will result in an attempt to board, and there are other Marajarbian and coalition ships nearby who will likely follow close behind if this ship here or that other one over there are shot down and sunk."

Speaking of the Revolutionary Navy, we should totally go to war! Our navy has been unchallenged by our enemies for centuries, with each battle they take, from Muqaddasia and Romanic Imperium, we always win! Our army is one of the strongest also! Taking pride of the Revolutionary Tank Fleet, with their majestic JP-2 tanks! The ones that brought Visegrad into democratic reforms! We have everything it takes to fight everyone! Arms, check. Ships, a BIG check. Jets... Well air fleets are ready so thats a check! Industries, were all ready so... check! So anywho, I say, give war a chance and lets defeat this Marajarbian empire in a way that our ancestors defeated the Janpian empire! Lets defeat the war criminals so that the world will never face injustices like what the Galapagosians experienced! They want to nuke us? Heh, the Revolution won't stop even in the domains of nuclear warfare! The only thing keeping the Revolutionaries on the leash is because of diplomacy and laws! I say, lets play their lies that we are a rule breaker and lets start an offensive! Lets fire the first shot for the first time in Janpian history!

So to whoever Union leader or UPMC attender, pass this message and let the Party Central hear what we actually want! Let the People's Marshal, who kept binding herself to the rules and civility, to declare an all out armed conflict! In the end, we will win!

Earlier in the week we’ve seen a rather controversial news article by a popular Janpian newspaper, which is quite the bounty of ultranationalist and aggressive rhetoric. Titled “Give WAR a chance”, this article calls for “all out armed conflict”, “let’s fire the first shot”, and worst of all “the Revolution won’t stop even in the domains of nuclear warfare”. This was followed by a message from the government calling Janpia to stop it’s escalation. Earlier today, a law was passed increasing the budget of the armed forces, in the face of growing threats.

Meanwhile at the Intelligence HQ…

Intelligence Director Sir James Cromwell stood attentively, watching his large screen of the world carefully. Other staff surrounded him, noting down any events happening. This screen was quite a gimmick, and the budget board wanted to kill him over it. Each red dot was an incident, and on the other computers could interpret what it was. “Another ship stopped, sir”. This was a common event by now, as trade restrictions and blockades took place everywhere. It didn’t matter if it was in national or international waters, they had lost count. When he receives permission to increase spending, he smiles and leaves the room..

The Marajarbian Government immediately supports this statement, stating that "The Janpians have yet to understand the difference between World War and World Peace, as they've never seen what peace can become if the world unites towards a common goal. The Janpians are more than clearly not working smart, as any war declaration made would just benefit the Marajarbian Government even more. Furthermore, the main goal of the Janpians and the KTO they lead is not to promote or spread democracy, or serve as a mutual defense pact, but to spread and prolong chaos and war instead of coming to the bargaining table, listening to diplomats every single waking moment, and signing peaceful agreements. The Janpians do not wish for World Peace, as evidenced by the rampant championing of a racist rhetoric against Marajarbia's role in international geopolitics as a superpower. That is why, as an effort by the nations of the world, we here at the Government of The Marajarbian Federation officially call for peace talks with the Janpians. The two major superpowers sharing dialogue, with The Pacific Alliance and International Humanitarian Coalition serving as hosts and mediators."

Furthermore, the Marajarbian government has repeatedly denied their cultural genocide against the Galapagosians and has repeatedly attempted to switch narratives on the topic of giving a proper trial to the perpetrators. The Janpian Union of Government Workers Party will continue to condemn such crimes against humanity in order to prevent similar incidents in the future and to demonstrate to the world that morally wrong acts are punished. The Revolutionary Council would also like to reiterate that armed conflicts will be used for self-defense of the revolution's interests, and that force will be used if necessary. What the KTO is doing is fulfilling its mandate of spreading democracy, justice, peace, and security for all, as stated in Article VIII of the KTO. As such, they view the Marajarbians as against it for the reasons stated in the first statement. The Ministry of International Communications (MIC) would also like to challenge the Marajarbian claims that the Party is racist when, in fact, we allow everyone of any origin or race to be a party member and participate in Janpian political affairs. Unlike the Marajarbian government's actions against Janpians working and living in Marajarbia, the Revolutionary Ministries of Worker's Union Ministry and the Ministry of Economy and Trade (MEAT) have not denied any Marajarbian nationality the right to enjoy the fruits and joy of labor throughout the entire trade conflict. In a convened session by the Union of Party Members Committee, the Party would accept the offered peace deals if the Marajarbian denounced their rhetoric and slanders, allowed the KTO as a mediator, and admitted to their crimes on Galapagos. Let it be reiterated that the purpose of the interdiction proposal is to put the Marajarbian government on trial for their crimes at Galapagos and to set a code of conduct for international affairs. They want the KTO to serve as mediators, meaning KTO bias instead of pure neutrality, and they wish to put this entire administration on a trial for the actions of one person committed years ago, instead of looking towards a better future as they claim they wish for. If the Janpians do not want peace, we must congratulate them for making themselves the enemy of the entire world, as the international community is likely to yet again be fighting against them by the time this statement is made public internationally."

"Today is a momentous day in Marajarbian history, as we celebrate the anniversary of the official end to the conflict between Marajarbia and Meretica. The conflict was hard-fought on both sides, with both sides making allies that have since made history, and one of those allies being South Olpen. The many, many alliances that both nations fought alongside and against are now either part of what is now UADC, or lost to history, like the former North Atlantic Treaty Organization, who before being merged into the former Global Confederation of Nations worked alongside the Mereticans in multiple attempts to stop what was the original New World Order Project. The people of Muqaddasia, Alphazi, Tyrantio Land, and even The King Isle also fought, some on both sides. CUSP and ICDN, two of the larger factions, also got involved directly or indirectly, thanks to nations such as Romextly, Countesia, and Spaincio, in what ended up being failed mediation attempts. There were also multiple attempts at diplomacy, most of which failed and almost led to a World War, which ended up being prevented due to the creation of the Global Alliance. Now, as we fight against the Janpians, we raise both the Marajarbian and Meretican flags, not only to celebrate the prevention of a World War or the end of the conflict, but the ultimate friendship between two superpowers."

The Marajarbian Government has officially announced part of the Marajarbian Agenda for the UADC, both as a major post-Civil War Season Reconstruction Alliance, and an Alliance that will likely last longer than its predecessors. This part of the agenda includes, but is not limited to:

-Establishing a Global Aid Program to help rebuild wartorn countries and assist in helping out refugees.
-Guarantee UADC membership of at least two small alliances or one large alliance.
-Establish good foreign relations.
-Establish a free-trade agreement amongst UADC members.
-Create new cooperation policies, to focus on a mixture of economic, military, and political cooperation, while also furthering unity.
-Establishing a permanent Council of Leaders to lead the UADC.

As the world undergoes its geopolitical changes, the Marajarbian Government has been preparing for the long reconstruction process. However, as reconstruction is going on, the Marajarbian Government will also be focusing on contributing to the UADC's development, to put UADC at the forefront of this reconstruction process.

As another chapter of history comes to a close, and the next chapter starts to begin, the Marajarbian Government's contributions to UADC will pull UADC resources from many past, and possibly future acquisitions to help war torn nations get back on their feet, and end refugee crises around the world. The UADC will also likely be working with the TOA, which has ties to the Unlambian Foreign Aid Committee, and TPA, which is developing as a Pacific NATO-esque alliance. It is presumed that the establishment of relations with other, newer organizations such as the Confederacy of Democratic States might be possible in the near future, so that CDs personnel from CDs member states can spread and even improve upon democracy, but the case isn’t seen as having a high possibility of bearing fruit.

Today, Marajarbian Emperor John Jackson officially resigned from being the Emperor of the Marajarbian Federation, citing that "Throughout the years, under my guidance, the Marajarbian Federation has developed itself from small naval republic to an advanced Superpower with a major say in world affairs. Now, it is time to pass the mantle onto someone who will continue my legacy, my cousin Daniel Thomas will be crowned as Emperor of the Marajarbian Federation in the coming week, and will lead not only the Marajarbian Federation forward, but the entire world as well, by continuing hard work into stopping the spread of Janpian influence and imperialism, and by making sure that the UADC and other alliances that actually wish to do good in the world can rise and contribute hard work in establishing a brand new international order."

A few hours after Emperor Jackson's resignation, soon-to-be Emperor Thomas made the following speech:

Soon-to-be Emperor Thomas has begun to officially send military support to the Namaprikan rebels, who are reportedly fighting for independence from the World Assembly. These troops, primarily from the colonies of East and West Mystery Realms on the coast of East Africa, will assist the Namaprikans in fighting not only for their independence, but also will fight to fulfill some campaign promises, including the establishment of a new international order, in which the strong and powerful govern over the irrelevant and small.
