Imagining NS … with AI?

Eh… so, I’ve become obsessed with Midjourney AI and created a whole bunch of visuals depicting what I imagined various places in NS to look like. It was a lot of fun.

I think this technology could be an outstanding addition to Factbooks, Roleplays, and GP design.

The WA HQ seems pretty spot on, on what to expect for a multiversal and multiregional organization that represents its power.

The SC HQ looked like a water resort, like some sort of a punishment for the ambassadors of nations that wrote illegal proposals. Punishment by being forced to swim for hours for the entertainment of many viewing them from the glass panels.

I thought the Mid Century Modern futuristic style worked well with the lofty idealism of the WA. But I just couldn’t ‘nail’ down the SC HQ’s prismatic structure. There were dozens of attempts.

They’re like artist renditions for the building before it was built.

There were attempts for the Strangers Bar in Mid Century, Art Deco, and Art Nouveau. As well as more rustic styles. I like the darker, more abstract final version.

This is... very, very impressive. The images are high quality and extremely detailed, so much to where you can actually feel them. I don't think they could be any better.

These are absolutely beautiful. I'm actually tingling with excitement since I *love* AI art. I've been using Artflow lately since it's very good with leader portraits. It's customizable, too.

To also mention, I'm definitely going to start using this to incorporate it into my factbooks. It'd make it so much prettier.

Downtown Central from the South Pacific is basically what you would expect from the South Pacific, obviously. Tiki bars and beautiful beaches, gosh i want to go there so bad!

The WA headquarters looks like something out of modded City Skylines, and I think that the design pretty much fits the criteria of looking like an omniversal meeting place.

The Stranger’s Bar looks like something a bored national leader would randomly wander into, and to be fair, I think that bored national leader would definitely look for some booze.

Also, I’m planning to implement AI Art into my factbooks, though, there aren’t any other factbooks other than something of a continuous loop storyline I didn’t start on writing yet. Back on topic, I agree with the OP on using these for factbooks.

I think there’s so much potential for AI Art in NS, because you can make so much imagery so quickly. We could incorporate more specific visual imagery in our banners and memorandum and forums to ground everything in a textured, alternate world.

Francograd looks like a crumbling ruin in the image you chose, and I don't think that is any kind of an accurate representation of the pacific.

Okay, so, yeah, we're in a modern world, though I feel like some of those photos are, well, too-modern for us right now. :) That kind of seems a bit weird to say (or even type)!

Midjourney AI is shockingly good, and I've already been using it for multiple NS projects. I find it does a much better job with landscapes and people than with buildings right now, though.

I’m in love with its interiors, but the “logic” of the interiors can often lack and it takes many iterations to fix issues with them.

Ultimately, Midjourney has me wanting to find an excuse to roleplay something that dominantly uses Italian Futurism in its art, graphics, and architecture.

The AI image generator can write?! Anytime I've done something involving text with any other AI it's a nonsensical mashup of nonexistant letters. Alright, that's it, I'm joining the beta.
