The Treaty Organization of Aasimar (TOA) is an effort to defend small nations around the globe that are in need of economic and military aid. The treaty was signed in Aasimar, Bakivaland, and we are requesting that other nations join. Nations that sign-up must first fill out the sign-up sheet and post it here. Nations that join must follow the charter. Nations that want to leave must hold a referendum and gain at least 51% of the population wanting to leave. A nation may either become a member or an observer, a member must follow all the charter, and an observer (who isn't fully within the organization, only observes what happens or waiting to gain independence to join). The TOA also conducts international studies and missions with a goal of helping nations in need.
Charter:
1. A nation may never attack or harm another nation within the treaty.
2. A nation must give foreign aid to other nations within the treaty in the event of a war. (doesn't apply to observers)
3. An attack on a member nation is an attack on all member nations. (doesn't apply to observers)
4. A nation must donate a minimum of 2% of their tax revenue to the treasury in case of economic crisis. (doesn't apply to observers)
5. A nation must donate to another member nation in economic crisis. (doesn't apply to observers)
6. A nation must openly state their membership, it cannot be hidden or secret.
7. A nation mustn't be a fascist state; however (with some exceptions), all other ideologies are welcome.
