It is the year of 1910, nearly a decade after a major war on the continent of Fraconia occurred. The year began with good news, more scientific advancements on fusion technology, more astronauts boarding the Fraconian Space Station, and many more, but not everything is only good news. With the current power struggle in the Principality of Stradia, further militarization of the Ameria Pact, and renewed tensions between the EFP and the Ameria Pact has plagued the continent of tensions. Numerous nations have also declared their neutrality in the conflict due to the current events. No one knows where everything is headed. One small change can influence so much in the future.

At March 1907, news from Gyzantia report of stolen blueprints of the interdimensional portal, linking Terra with other dimensions. Few days after, the Risetan Empire, a member of the Ameria Pact, announces the plan of the interdimensional portal, which arises suspicion from the EFP. Further investigations of Gyzantia lead to them placing the Ameria Pact as the perpetrators of the robbery. By 1909, the joint-project of the Ameria Pact has successfully completed the portal, crashing the portal monopoly of the EFP. The Versalian leader, Max Driessen, stated that "no more, do the EFP have the only control over portals, and this shall be a reminder to them, the the Ameria Pact, is not just a mere alliance. We can step up against the giants!." With the two sides having access to portals, they are now reaching out to the otherworld nations for support, doing everything to be above their enemy.

Because they know a war is coming.

East Fraconian Pact (EFP)

The East Fraconian Pact was first made during the First Fraconian War to act as protection for the nations in the Pact. After the Wars of Honor, where Gyzantia and Versalia declare war over ancient artifacts, the Pact was dismantled until the beginning of the Six-Month War, where the Pact was victorious and disbanded once again. Now reborn as tensions rise up in Eastern Fraconia, they retain the same goals as before, to protect each other in case of an attack. Members include Gyzantia, the Deronian Republic, and the East Risetan Republic.

Ameria Pact

Made up of revanchist nations, they are made up of nations who suffered defeat during the Six-Month War. After the successful revanchist coup in Versalia, other nations have begun seeing increased revanchist support. Soon, Versalia stages a coup in the Asteria and becomes successful and the Revanchist Party in Riseta wins with a large gap with the second place candidate. Even with having small territories, they are managing to catch up with the industry and military of the EFP. Their goal: to reclaim lands they have lost and enact revenge over the East Fraconian Pact. Members include the Versalian Republic, Asterian Empire, and the Risetan Empire

These nations are those that do not support any side for trade, try their best to avoid war occuring, serving as peacekeeping forces, avoiding the experience of war, or to spread their influence in both factions.They can still decide to side with a faction or remain neutral all the times. Neutral nations in the continent include the Polostrian Federation, Scradian Empire, United Islands of Yvora, Elesia Kasteria, and Stradia.

Principality of Stradia

The Principality of Stradia was a nation founded in the cliffed shores of the Meresian Peninsula. Most of the founders were refugees from the Tribal Wars of the North, which occurred in present-day Exaria and Zythosia. Since their founding, they have become a neutral nation, never engaging in wars, and becoming the home of most political refugees. Today, it serves as the chessboard for the Ameria Pact and the East Fraconia Pact, as Pro-Amerian militants and the Democratic Front fight against each other for control of the nation, with them acting as puppets of one of the major factions. The tensions between these two factions have been increasing in the past months, and has nearly reached its boiling point with the assassination of the head of the Democratic Front during a public rally. Mobilization occured, but the Government's military has intervened, avoiding a civil war. Even the military, has seen soldiers desert, joining one of the groups, bringing their equipment with them.

This June has seen the breaking point, when rallies from both sides met, which ended with a riot. Rocks turned to molotovs, and it then soon turned to gunfire. No one knew who shot first, but both sides claim it was the other, causing the mobilization of both factions. The military tried to step in again, but their strength was overshadowed by both sides, with the support from the Ameria Pact and the EFP. Militias begin to form, armories raided, and lawlessness. The Stradian Civil War begins, with the major powers making their move.
