The public does not know that gun crime is occurring on the 'dark side' and that the organization that causes such crime is plotting to disrupt society. Gun accidents, sometimes reported in the news, are often reported as crimes using homemade firearms.
Rare murders are often reported simply. But the general public also doesn't know what's behind it.
The underground organization, which calls itself ‘Gusedang’(구세당, The party that saves the world), has only been active in the dark. But now they're looking at the sun.
About Gusedang
They are a huge criminal organization estimated to have hundreds of members. They are armed with guns smuggled in various ways to avoid the eyes of the police, and they have taken over the underground world with powerful force.
Although they have emerged as a powerful criminal organization, no one knows what its exact purpose is. This is because they are not touching things like drug smuggling and international fraud, which are areas that other criminal organizations often do.
Instead, they are committing crimes against people in various fields. Kidnapping and killing church ministers, setting fire to government buildings, sniping and killing civic activists, or stealing private corporate information and stealing corporate-owned assets.
The Gusedang's attack was so diverse that the police and intelligence agencies found it even more difficult to grasp their purpose. What's certain is that they're targeting everyone, whether it's government, civilians, businesses, workers, capitalists, communists, religions, etc.
Of course, the government is not just letting go. Initially, the police tried to respond to them, but when it turned out that the police's power was not enough, the intelligence agency stepped up.
The Seorabeol’s intelligence agency, the FSS(Federal Security Service), has set up a dedicated team to respond to Gusedang. Gusedang's activities seemed to be quiet for some time as several members of the organization were caught, but the situation changed rapidly as they showed signs of going abroad.
The government has made a decision. As it became difficult to solve with their power alone, they asked for help from foreign countries with close relationships. Now that Gusedang has begun to go abroad, it has been decided that it is difficult to hide any more information.
The Truth of Gusedang
Baek Myung-seon, the head of Gusedang, is a former FSS agent. He was arrested by enemy forces during the operation, but the FSS denied his existence. This may be considered a natural procedure, but Baek felt a great sense of betrayal. After a dramatic escape, he had a hatred for his country and the enemy who arrested him. It grew bigger in Baek Myung-seon's mind over time and eventually made him feel angry at all the human-made organizations and ideologies.
Baek Myung-seon began to believe that man-made petty ideas and rules suppressed humans. Baek Myung-sun dreamed of revenge and realized the plans he had made one by one.
First of all, he used his computer skills to hack into banks and governments in each country to steal large amounts of cryptocurrency and recruited former spies from each country who had been abandoned by the country like Baek Myung-seon as organizers.
Two years after he first started implementing the plan, he returned to Seorabeol. Using overwhelming force, he quickly integrated criminal organizations in Seorabeol under his command, laying the foundation for the organization he created in Seorabeol and using his members to commit terrorism. His terror attacks have spread across governments, businesses, foreign countries, capitalists, communists, and religious groups, and as the attacks continue, Gusedang's position has expanded.
Recognizing the seriousness of the situation, the government did not disclose the truth to the media and secretly launched an investigation through the police, fearing excessive confusion in society. However, when it turned out that the police alone could not do it, the FSS eventually stepped up.
The FSS initially seemed to show results, but when Baek Myung-seon tried to commit terrorism not only at home but also abroad, the FSS planned to cooperate with foreign intelligence agencies.
Regulation
- A country can apply for up to three characters and two organizations.
- For organizations, I recommend that you have up to 20 people per organization. If you apply for a large number of people, at least 3 lines of appropriate reasons are required.
Take into account that this RP is primarily set in a spy war, and the background and content of the operation should not be disclosed to civilians. Deploying large-scale troops is more likely to interfere with operations. - WMDs such as nuclear weapons and biochemical weapons are not allowed.
