The Colonial Government is, in general, stable and no major conflicts happen in it, as the three main parliamentarian factions, despite occasional quarrels and their opposing ideas, get along fairly well and respect each other when in power, not attempting to de-stabilize the colony. The Governor (appointed by Britain) and the Colonial Secretary (appointed by the Eastplatine Parliament) sometimes oppose each other, but ultimately, the Colonial Secretary is superior and the Governor is replaced by Britain if major problems regarding this arise.
