This thread will serve as the official NS Forum Embassy for Sparkalia where official communications & statements from the High Queendom can be found. What is Sparkalia?
Sparkalia is a new roleplay region entering NationStates led by Chaotic Sparkles officially founded on March 21st, 2022 and began operations in June 2022. It is governed by an absolute monarchy with a mind for meritocracy and collaboration. The region is billed as a worldbuilding, fantasy meets future tech centered roleplay focused region. A place where you can build a nation of magic, science, or a mix of both in your vision. While the region and its name may be new in NS, her founder isn't. She has served in a variety of positions across different organizations in NS since 2014, known then as Sparkdottir.

We certainly are and we are excited to continue building on what we have created so far. Truly it has been a great start This first issue of The Queen's Spark certainly isn't as perfect as I wanted it to be, however, we have to start from somewhere and I hope to just build as we go along I suppose. The vote of confidence is appreciated!

The First Inspection

A snow was beginning to fall ever lightly. It was a this chilly evening in the cold northern and simple queendom of Sparkalia. What calm ambience there was in the Valiant Stables was disrupted as the sound of thundering hooves filled any bystanders ears! As they galloped feathery friends from the The Black Hawks took flight, they would ride and fly high into eight regions to take a closer look at them. Upon inspection, it was determined there was an uncomfortable deficit of purple that had to be rectified! With just a few changes and a some trade negotiation the Purple Throne was quite pleased with the end result.

Agendaposting aside, I have an actual ideological question - how does (according to Sparkalia's interpretation of whatever this is) destroying other user-created regions advance a userite cause at the expense of the "gamerite"? (Ironically, you'd be displacing userites and sending them to TRR, a GCR)

Regrettably, our most recent External Affairs statement was made with the intent to affirm our alignment in foreign affairs and military operations. The attempt at doing so produced a puzzling and terrible attempt of humor. It is evident that in this case where our attempt to not carry ourselves too seriously resulted in not being received very well as well as confusion. In short, it was a joke for which we apologize didn't come off right. It will be lesson learned for us as we continue to find ourselves and will hopefully improve in time.

With that under consideration, that doesn't change that the statement was made for a more serious reason. Over the holiday season, the Court carefully considered our independent alignment. The discussion having lasted some time resulted in affirming a more transparent alignment on matters of military. From henceforth, Sparkalia's Cavalry will no longer be a force that can be considered independent but one that is a raider organization as opposed to the previous "neutral" position taken. At this time this is the only serious stance and position the High Queendom will be taking. We maintain no official, formal position in reference to GCRs as a whole.
