Around the Universe Control Panel™, deities celebrate the end of a challenge to collectively kill all 10000 monkeys populating Monkeyland. After the celebrations, a monkey is spotted returning to Monkeyland. And another one. And another one, and another one, and then it seems that the entire planet is populated with monkeys! Oh dear... A communication from the monkeys shortly after arrives at the Universe Control Panel™.

We know how you are responsible for trying to genocide all of monkeykind. But you could not kill us all. The DNA of one monkey was used by human scientists to reclone all of monkeykind, and we are back, stronger than ever. You cannot destroy us, but we will destroy you.

As panicked deities scurried around the Universe Control Panel™ Office, one unnamed deity suggested "Well, let's put all 10000 to death. But world law states that we cannot kill more than ten monkeys at a time. We need to work collaboratively to destroy all of monkeykind."

And so, the genocide resumes...

To his relief, he draws in a sizable audience of 10 other monkeys. Monkey 9985 through 9976 and Monkey 2763 are all seemingly moved by 9986's words. In a moment of joyous hope and comradery, they all agree to unite and warn other monkeys of their collective fate. Little did they know, however, there was an imposter among them. In a moment of weakness, while Monkey 9986 through 9976 celebrated their newfound optimism, all 10 monkeys were suddenly and brutally slaughtered by Monkey 2763.

As Monkey 9986 lay bleeding out on the ground, he asked 2763, "So, were you the one who killed my master?" Monkey 2763 nobs his head in agreement. “But why? Why would you do all this?”
