The app looks good and I thank you for the effort you put into it. However there are a few problems that should be addressed before you can be accepted.
1. Please fix the formatting. It's not a big issue, but it makes the application easier to read for me and other players. For example:
Instead of:Government Type: Absolute Monarchy
this:Government Type: Absolute Monarchy
And delete instructions too. So instead of this:Economic Description: Scandinavia runs on free market capitalism with some regulations to help prevent monopolies from forming, ensures workers in Scandinavia earn minimum wage, bans child labor and ensures that workplaces are safe. While this seems very progressive to the other industrialized nations in Europe, this is very common on the provincial and local levels in Scandinavia. The new labor laws on the national level were enacted by King Gustav in 1775. The major products produced are ships, guns, gunpowder, forestry, iron and steel. Unlike RL, Scandinavia began to industrialize at the same as Great Britain in 1760. I expect at least one (1) paragraph. Explain how advanced your economy is, how your economy works (free-market capitalism? heavily regulated economy?) and the major products of your country.
It should be this:Economic Description: Scandinavia runs on free market capitalism with some regulations to help prevent monopolies from forming, ensures workers in Scandinavia earn minimum wage, bans child labor and ensures that workplaces are safe.
It's a minor thing, but it would be really helpful.
2.
With regards to the economy:Economic Description: Scandinavia runs on free market capitalism with some regulations to help prevent monopolies from forming, ensures workers in Scandinavia earn minimum wage, bans child labor and ensures that workplaces are safe.
Prussia was the first state to enact laws restricting child labor in factories and setting the number of hours a child could work in 1839. I think it's a bit too early for that. Safety regulations also came later on. So delete those two.
On the other hand the minimum wage is fine, though for specific industries: " The practice was eventually formalized with the passage of the Act Fixing a Minimum Wage in 1604 by King James I for workers in the textile industry."
3.Government Description: The King or Queen has absolute say in all things happening in Scandinavia. Each Ministry of the Kingdom of Scandinavia is run by a Minister who's only superior is the King or Queen. In charge of each province is a governor elected by the people of that province whose job is to run the province effectively and efficiently and keep the people living in and traveling through safe. Underneath the governor is the various mayors of the cities, towns and villages who are elected by the citizens of these cities, towns and villages. They are to run their cities, towns and villages effectively and efficiently and also keep the people within their jurisdiction.
This is alright but there three issues:
A) Who gets the right to vote? For example, in RL Sweden at that had elected legislature but it wasn't a modern democracy:Although the taxed peasantry was represented in the Parliament, its influence was disproportionately small, and commoners without taxed property had no suffrage at all.
All power was vested in the people as represented by the Riksdag, consisting, as before, of four distinct estates: nobles, priests, burgesses and peasants. Each estate was ruled by its talman, or speaker, who was now elected at the beginning of each Diet, but the archbishop was, ex officio, the talman of the clergy. The lantmarskalk, or speaker of the House of Nobles, presided when the estates met in congress and also, by virtue of his office, in the secret committee. This famous body, which consisted of 50 nobles, 25 priests, 25 burgesses, and, very exceptionally, 25 peasants, possessed during the session of the Riksdag not only the supreme executive but also the supreme judicial and legislative functions. It prepared all bills for the Riksdag, created and deposed all ministries, controlled the foreign policy of the nation, and claimed and often exercised the right of superseding the ordinary courts of justice.
So I want a clarification on this.
B) Are there demands for restrictions to the power of the monarchy? Are there demand for a national parliament, similar to whatever legislature exists in the provinces?
C) Why did an absolute monarchy allow voting rights in the provinces? In RL, the 'Age of Liberty' in Sweden came after the defeat of the Swedish Empire, which led to a decline in the power of the Swedish monarchy. So was it a military defeat? The monarchy attempting to placate the new, emerging bourgeoisies class?
4. About your army.Army Description:
Royal Guard- A 15,000 men strong division dedicated to defending the Royal Family and the Capital, Stockholm. It is divided into three parts. The first part is the infantry which is 10,000 strong armed with the best muskets that can be bought and is the most highly trained troops in the Royal Scandinavia Army. The second part is the Calvary section of the Royal Guard which is 4,000 strong. They equipped with the best weapons and ride the best horses in the RSA. The last section are armed with heavy and light cannons. Since Stockholm is a fortified city, the cannons are mounted in permanent defilades built into the walls around the city.
This is alright and you can keep it.Calvary Regiments- These regiments which are 1000 strong and carry good equipment and have good training putting them on par with the Calvary units all across Europe. There are 75 of these regiments spread out all across the Kingdom including its overseas territories.
Infantry Divisions- The Infantry Divisions are 10,000 strong, carry good equipment and have decent training. There are 45 divisions spread out across Scandinavia proper and 1 division in each colony bringing the total to 51 divisions.
Those two are alright when it comes to description of equipment and training, BUT way too much in terms of numbers. In the Great Northern War, the Swedish Empire fielded 76,000 troops and Denmark-Norway 40,000 troops: 116,000 in total. And that was a major war fought over many years. Right now your app states you have 75,000 cavalrymen and 510,000 infantry men. Those are too large numbers. You are not China. Even with additional population of colonies, you can have so many men at arms.
I would advise that you reduce your total number of troops to 130,000 perhaps (both cavalry and infantry). You don't need mass numbers anyway unless you are China. This is not WWI or WWII.
Your naval numbers seem alright to me and need no change.
5. About your history. I would have liked a bit more details on the Scandinavian Unification War and some mention if there are still hard feelings/independence movements among populace with regards to this union. But more or less that part of your history is alright.
I have a problem with this however:The natives in Sydvästra Afrika while not Scandinavian citizens were treated with caution and watched any rebellious. In 1720, Scandinavia expanded out to the East Indies of Southeast Asia by claiming the Islands of Java and Sumatra establishing the Scandinavian East Indies as a colony with the new Capital named Jakarta. This colony started growing like an out of control wildfire while the native were treated with kindness and fairness.
Even with the Scandinavians treating the natives with caution, I don't see them treating them as equals or without any kind of racism. Racism and notions of European superiority were the norm back then. Also, even if Scandinavians claimed to treat fairly the natives, I wouldn't expect the natives to accept colonial rule without any resistance. You should mention occasional revolts in your history. I also expect some unrest in the colonies. Not revolution, since Asian independence movements took off in late 19th and early 20th centuries, but certainly occasional trouble and unrest.
5. I need an RP sample. You mentioned your RPed before with another account, so provide a link to a post from your other account. Or write a short paragraph here. Whatever you wish.

Nation Name: Sultanate of Greater Turkey
Culture(s): Ottoman, Turkish, Greco-Roman, Kazaks.
Territory: Current Modern-day Turkey, Northern Syria and Armenia.
Capital City: Istanbul
Population: 11 Million
Government Type : Absolute Monarchy, with Northern Syria and Armenia under "Provisional Sultanate Regimes".
Head of State: Sultan Mehmet Şen
Head of Government: Sultan Mehmet Şen
Government Description:The country is administrated not via the direct actions of the sultan, but of the Royal Directory Board, a small cabinet of senior ministers, who are responsible for certain areas of the country. There is 16 "Royal Ministers" and are usually un-elected officials, with most either connected by ethnicity or family. Aside from the Royal cabinet, there are provisional officers, who represent a separate department for regional territories. Provisional ministers are responsible for the economic and social efficiency of the regions responsible. Local regions are not under local power, and local power is completely centralised under regional boards. Much like the royal cabinet, most members are either connected via power or family.
Majority/State Religion: Muslim
Economic Description: The country is heavily regulated, planned economy, with almost all markets nationalised and monopolised by state-owned entities - in which has been the reason for the lack of economic improvement. The country has a mixutre of farming-dominated regions and newly-industrialised areas. Northern, Southern and Eastern Turkey are newly-Industrialised areas, of which 50% of Turkey's economy is activists thier. Northern Syria and Eastern Turkey still remain as a agrarian dominated areas, with farming the dominative industry. Armenia remains the least developed, with only a few areas within the current modern module of the farming.
Development: Greater Turkey could be considered industrialised in the Western and Southern Areas, Semi-industrialised in the East, and pre-industrialised in Armenia and Northern Syria.
Army Description: The Turkish National Army is designed under a two-tier system, with the Turkish People's Army to be considered the largest one, ranging with around 40,000 troops under it's heath. The people's army is considered the least funded, with the Ottoman Army considered the far-superior army, although both remain in the same command of the 3 Generals. With 5,000 troops under it's belt, it was far-stronger equipment, and is the army mostly used in border clashes with Southern Syrian Armies. The people's army is considered a patrol army, due to its lack of experience in conflict.
Army Weakness: The armies weakness is both it's lack of numbers and it's lack of organisation, mostly due to the cultural and economic split between the People's and Ottoman army, which has led to poor displays of the Turkish forces.
Naval Description: Since the Ottoman Empire's decline and ultimate ending in the mid-18th century, Greater Turkey managed to retain the majority of the Ottoman Naval Forces, although only an estimated 35% are operational. Despite the lack of operational naval equipment, Greater Turkey's 1774 Naval Expansion sees country portraying a navy the size of a great power, however, it's operational uses match those within Eastern Europe.
Naval Weakness: The lack of naval operational equipment and a disorganised navy hierarchy, dominated by a authoritarian admiral and general dominance has led to the Turkish navy being stunted in development, in which may take even centuries for the majority of the navy to become operational, and with ships being fairly old, most originating from the late 17th century's and some being from the mid-1600's, the Turkish Navy remains in heavy doubt and question.
National Goals: Defeat South Syrian Tribes in a major offensive, Industrialise Eastern Turkey, reorganise the navy and begin expansion into Europe in a long-term project.
National Issues:
Armenian Question - Armenia's independence movement is strong, and with the recent 1778 Uprising, which was ultimately unsuccessful, but to show that Turkey must force the Turkish culture into them.
Young Turk Movement - the young turk movement, most prominent in the capital, has been a pro-democratic, pro-liberal and pro-free market movement, mostly popular under the youth, which seek to adopt a more western-styled country. Although the movement is mostly peaceful, it's political popularity under the youth may soon bite the Sultans reign back.
Economic Inequality - Comparing Eastern Turkey and Armenia would be completely different, and the difference in economic activity and prosperity has led to questions of self-determination in many regions - and with the centralised power in Istanbul, less prosperous provinces may seek increased autonomy.
Crumbling Empire - The 1732 Ottoman Collapse was a disaster for the sultan, who saw an empire stretching from Istanbul to Serbia crumble. A mass of conflicts saw the 1735 Istanbul Treaty, which was a series of treaties which portioned independence to almost all of the occupied territory, expect Northern Syria and Armenia, who remained in the empire. The embarrassment of the Istanbul Treaty has been with Greater Turkey ever since, and with stagnated economy, poor military and a loud independence movement in Armenia and Northern Syria, the decline of the empire remains so, even if the countries aims remain to expansion to the west.
History : The Ottoman Remains to it's historical accuracy until the mid-17th century, when a series of political reforms, which gave more power to local governors, saw the Ottoman-Arabian War of 1645, which saw an autonomous republic established after a defeated Ottoman army. A stagnated economy following the Famine of 1651 and the short-lived economic depression of 1653 saw the autonomous republic of Iraq demand autonomous status, which was denied after an attempted siege on Iraq's regional capital failed. Known as the Iraqi Insurgency, which took place between 1654 - 1657, which once more saw an autonomous republic established - these series of defeats would inevitably lead to the collapse of the Ottoman Empire.
However, the countries next conflict only raised in 1702, when a series of internal conflicts led to a string of battles between Ottoman Soldiers and Syrian Militants. The countries economy grossed back to pre-depression levels, and allowed new nationalised reforms to kick in, leading to victory in 1704. Now seeing a new, brighter future for the empire, soon enough, it would all go away. In 1731, the Sultan announced a mass centralisation plan, which would direct all trade routes to favour to Turkish holdings, leading to mass famines and unrest in non-turkic areas. This distorts and economically terrible idea led to the 1732 Ottoman Collapse, which saw mass riots and conflicts between internal militants, including an attempted coup in Istanbul. Although it seemed to get passed, international recommendations and a collapse in trade to the country led to the embarrassing 1734 treaty of Istanbul, which peacefully dismantled the Ottoman Empire, freeing up almost 11 new countries.
From then on, a new Turkish state was established under the original sultan, who looked to preserve an ottoman state in Turkey. Although it saw initial economic prosperity in the 1730's and 40's, the overspending military and a unorganised navy saw the countries debts see a large hike, which led to the inevitable Turkish Economic Collapse in 1757. This would lead to a mass of reforms, nationalising major industries which had started as private due to the collapse of the empire. However, the over-amassed debt would soon be solved after large cuts of the budget, known as the "Turkish Budget Reforms". After the debts were paid and nationalised settled in, the economy was back on it's feet, remains stable ever since.
The 1760's and early 70's were mostly associated with a serious of expansions into Middle Syria, of which looked to begin an offensive against rouge states in the Syrian area. Although they are successful, Turkey's poor supply line prevented a major offensive. The 60's, especially the late 60's, was a period of unrest in Armenia and Istanbul, which saw the popularity of the Young Turk Movement in the capital and the indepdance movement in Armenia. The 70's, and up to present day, the economy has slumped due to civil unrest, unemployment has seen a sharp rise due to a poor economy and lack of pay, and unrest in Syria and Armenia remain high.
