We will be using Ilya Kushlianski's Online Match Score Sim. This was one of the best online scorinators. Because all of the countries in this cup haven't participated in any official World Cup Competitions, there aren't any rankings to use. Thus, all weighted bonuses will be based on Roleplaying, or RPing. If you want, you can check out the Guide to Sports Roleplaying Topic. Cutoffs(the end of all RP's for that Matchday) and Matchdays themselves will be 2300-1000 UTC. Look at the schedule for more matchday information.
Rosters will be posted in this thread. A roster is just a list of all your players competing in the tournament. It should have at least a starting eleven, with at least the players' names. This is so that you and other users have names and possibly numbers and any other info for their next RP's. A roster posted can count as an RP for that day, with rosters posted before the first matchday adding significantly more bonuses. This is because it shows that you care enough to name your players before the tournament starts. This may seem obvious, but a roster can only be posted once per team. If you post a roster for the second time, it won't be counted. Rosters also generally have a permissions box. You can copy the one below:
RP permission and other basics
Allow opponents to select goalscorers:
Allow opponents to godmod goalscoring events:
Allow opponents to injure players:
Allow opponents to godmod injuries:
Allow opponents to hand out yellow cards/red cards:
Allow opponents to godmod anything else under the sun:
The classification of the teams will be decided by their position in their respective leagues, as some countries do not have enough information, the participating countries will be asked to say their 5 clubs or 6 in their respective case, as in this template (logo optional):
Team 1:
Team 2:
Team 3:
Team 4:
Team 5:
(Only Burikinia and Germaxiar) Team 6:
As both Burikinia and Germaxiar have participated in at least one lazCON, they will be given 1 extra slot by participation at the lazCON compared to the rest of the countries that have not participated in a lazCON yet.
A roleplay can be any story about your nation, but ones that are focused on football will get higher scores. Roleplays are graded on quality of quantity. Some nations stick to match reports, and while that is totally fine and will earn you RP points, being creative can have upsides. Each RP will only count for the matchday it was posted on. The cutoffs mentioned earlier help separate the matchdays. Finally, just have fun. Be creative.
A style modifier is just a general idea of how your nation plays. There are five to choose from: Attacking, Possession, Balanced, Counter-Attack, and Defensive. These will affect how you play, so choose wisely. Please put this information somewhere in your roster. If you do not put it, it will be assumed as Balanced.
The format will be a single round-robin style, with 8 groups of four. A win is 3 points, a draw is 1, and a loss is 0. After the group stage, the top two in each group move on to the round of 16. Tiebreakers will be: Goal Difference(GD), Head-to-Head Matchups, Goals For, Goals-per-Game. If the two tied teams are second and third, they will play a knockout round qualifier. If it is first and second, who they play in the round of 16 will be random. the round of 16 will be drawn randomly, the round of 8 and Semifinals will not be drawn.
2 Germaxiar stadiums will be used, 1 for the final and the other for the third place match, the rest of the encounters will be played at the respective stadium of the home team.
