The topic of the thread was a racist hate crime; the discussion revolved around racism and it's harmful influences (such as hate crimes). I don't see how that's off topic at all. Shootings offer very little substance to actually discuss by themselves, their causes (such as racism in this case) however are another story.

1. The ban was not deserved because the post wasn't actionable.

2. I have already explained before to another moderator that I do not "puppet hop" in an attempt to hide who I am. I regularly abandon nations when I grow bored with them, which happens often. I am well aware moderation knows who I am regardless of what nation I'm using and have never made any attempt to obfuscate who I am.

3. Is it not possible for a ban to be removed from one's record? I could've sworn it was. I wasn't aware you could appeal forum bans via Getting Help.
