True, it was nice to see UK rising from the flop they did last year. It was nice performance and song was alright overall

Winning country's song gets to host next years eurovision.
Recently, in 2015 Australia joined too because Eurovision was always enormously popular there and they have right to participate until 2023
ESC consists of three parts. First & second semi-finale and a grand finale. in each semi finale 10 countries who gets the most televotes points progress into grand finale where they compete with big 5 (Spain, UK, Germany, Italy and France). Hopefully Moldova, Norway, Estonia, and Poland will do well. Those are my favourites.

Of course it's not time. It's never time, not on its own. You make it time. If you're under fire in the no-man's land of WW1, you start digging a foxhole even if the ideal time would be when you *aren't* being bombarded, because once you wait for it to be 'time', other situations will need your attention, assuming you survive that long. Norway and Moldova deserved more recognition though. And Serbia's performance was shite, who voted for them?

I suspect it was all the public which would have normally voted for Russia gave to Serbia instead, due to it's strong ties to Russia. Either that or my jokes about the song being an attempt at hypnosis were not unfounded and it actually worked.

Yes, they're American, but they're already big names anyway.
It could be good publicity for Ava Max who's already widely popular here in the UK anyway!
Would it be good for the celebrities concerned?
Julia Michaels isn't a huge A-lister, but she's not an unknown either.
Ariana Grande, well, she's a big enough name to be on Eurovision.
But then again would this end up on a Top 20 PR Disasters list if such a thing did happen?

Imperial States of Duotona
Duotona is a nation nestled in the Pacific Ocean. Marked by the scars of its bloody past, the people of Duotona persist and have given the nation a voice from which it preaches the word of peace and democracy across the globe!
Nation reflects OOC views. NS stats are sent to the shadow realm.
