Synopsis of Movie: Pursuit of Ice is documentary film about the efforts of nature photographer Jóhann Sigvaldason and his timelapse photography to publicize the effects of climate change and the retreat of glaciers in the Mist Carthara Islands. The film was directed by Allan Eykamsson. The documentary includes scenes from a glacier calving event that took place at Skæsson Glacier in southern Mist Carthara in the longest such event ever captured on film.

Environmental photographer Jóhann Sigvaldason heads to the southern Mist Carthara Islands and Antartique in order to capture images that will help to convey the effects of global warming. Sigvaldason was initially skeptical about climate change when the issue entered scientific discussion, but after his first trip south, he becomes convinced of the impact that humans have on the planet and becomes committed to bringing the story to the public.

Within months of the first trip to MCI, Sigvaldason initiates the MCIIceSurvey - an expedition to collect data on the seasonal changes of glaciers. Sigvaldason and his team deploy cameras that utilize time-lapse photography across various places in the Antartique subregions to capture a multi-year record of the world's glaciers.

The expedition starts off poorly as the team is plagued by numerous technical problems and camera malfunctions. Meanwhile, due to the extreme physical nature of the expeditions, Sigvaldason's personal health suffers in the form of knee complications.

After making improvements to the equipment, Sigvaldason and his team are finally able to collect time-lapse photographs that depict the drastic erosion and disappearance of enormous, ancient glaciers.

Synopsis of Movie: The film tells the story of a young Parabocan man released from a juvenile detention facility who, having been frustrated in his hope of becoming a priest, poses as one and is fortuitously asked to replace a village priest.

Juan has a spiritual awakening while in a juvenile detention center, serving a sentence for second-degree murder, but his criminal background prevents him from pursuing his dream of becoming a priest upon release. He is assigned to work in a sawmill in a village, and while visiting the local Catholic church, he pretends to be a priest. The vicar of that church meets Juan wholly believing his lie, and leaves him in charge of the church while he is away for a medical treatment. Juan begins performing all the duties of a priest and enjoys it.

The parishioners enjoy his unorthodox methods, even his unexpected claim from the pulpit to be a murderer, but they have mixed feelings when he starts asking about a recent car accident that left the community united in anger against the person they believe responsible, an adult man driving alone who died in the crash that also killed six teenagers in the other car. He begins to discover that responsibility for the accident is unclear, but the mayor insists that the issue has been put to rest. The point of contention is whether the driver should be buried in the village cemetery with the other victims. Juan discovers that months after the accident his cremated remains await burial and many of the villagers have sent hateful, threatening letters to his widow. Juan and his new friend Carla confront the villagers with these letters and Juan decides to conduct a burial service for the solo driver. Carla's mother throws her out of the house for bringing out the letters, and she asks to stay at the temporary rectory with Juan; while there, they make love.

During the burial service, many of the villagers put aside their hate and pay their respects. Before the Mass planned to follow the burial, the priest from Juan's youth detention center arrives, having been tipped off that the village's new priest is an impostor. He tells Juan to pack his bags immediately, but Juan sneaks out a window and goes to the church to celebrate his "farewell Mass". Before starting, he removes his shirt to display his tattoos, and leaves the church. Juan is sent back to jail where the brother of the man he murdered is now a fellow convict. They engage in a brutal fight, Juan gains the upper hand, and the other prisoners allow him to walk free.

Synopsis of Movie: For the Sake of the World is a short documentary film recording a lecture given to University of Apelnisse students by Constantioan physician and anti-nuclear activist Dr. Thomas Elbaan about the dangers posed by nuclear weapons, filmed only days after the rogue nuclear weapon test by the Syrarantoan regime in September 2021.

The film goes into depth describing in easy-to-understand language the scientific and medical consequences of ozone depletion, the greenhouse effect, deforestation, toxic chemical pollution, species extinction, food contamination, nuclear waste, and the constant threat of nuclear warfare. A physician by training, Elbaan prescribes a cure and cause for hope. He suggests that individuals organize politically, learn energy efficiency, and hold corporations and governments accountable. He argues that love for the world itself should be the greatest strength in our fight for the planet.

Synopsis of Movie: The events of the movie take place in Kuye, on the eve of the 1983 War. Daamir, a Skithan school-teacher goes about his day teaching geography to the Emmirian children from nearby villages, playing with them, and giving grain to their families. One of Daamir's acquaintances show up to his isolated schoolhouse to warn him about rising tensions between the Kuye resistance and the Skithan regime.

The following morning, Balducci, a Skithan gendarme and friend to Daamir, brings an Emmirian prisoner (who we find out is called Mohamed later on) to Daamir's schoolhouse. Balducci informs Daamir that he must take this prisoner to the nearby town, Maastir, and hand him over to the police department over there. He claims that he is unable to due to there being a lack of forces to prevent a potential uprising in the town of El Ameur. Daamir is displeased with the orders being given to him and outright refuses to comply. Despite Mohamed having killed his cousin over the theft of grain, Daamir insists that it is out of the question for him to take the man to the authorities as they will most probably sentence him to death without much deliberation. Balducci, frustrated, tells Daamir that Skith authorities already have an eye on him due to his friendliness with the locals. He then starts his trip back to El Ameur, leaving the prisoner and his fate in the hands of Daamir.

After sharing a meal together, Daamir sets up a bed for Mohamed, ensuring he is treated like a regular guest. At night, Mohamed falls sick prompting Daamir to tend to him. This helps ease the tension and grow trust between the two men. The next morning, Daamir is suddenly faced by a group of men in horses demanding he hand over their cousin. The situation quickly escalates and Daamir is forced to use a firearm to fend them off. After shooting one of their horses, the men disperse and flee whilst promising revenge. After the situation cools down, Daamir heatedly confronts Mohamed, blaming him for the events that had just taken place. Mohamed in turn asks Daamir to take him to the authorities in Maastir, to which Daamir responds to by telling him to go by himself. Mohamed reluctantly goes through with this, only to be met by Daamir quickly having a change of heart and agreeing to take the trip with him.

Daamir proceeds to pack essentials for the trek but just as they are about to leave, they are met with a group of Skithans searching for a man guilty of slaughtering their cattle. When they see Mohamed, they ask Daamir if he was the man in question. Daamir explains his situation, but the men insist that they can take care of his prisoner and call it a day. After Daamir's refusal to leave it to them, one of the Skithans gets agitated and threatens Daamir with his gun. Daamir quickly turns the situation around and holds the man at gunpoint. He expresses his empathy towards him having lost his cattle and then asks them all to leave.

Finally, after all this trouble, Daamir and Mohamed finally embark on their trip to Maastir. Unfortunately, not much time passes until they spot Mohamed's cousins in the distance searching for them. To avoid any further conflict, they deviate and follow a perilous path through the mountains. Shortly after, they accidentally confront a lone armed man riding a horse. The man is shown to be hesitant to pull the trigger as both parties try to de-escalate the situation. Nevertheless, the man fires the first shot and misses to which Daamir is forced to retaliate with a shot to the chest. Daamir quickly scrambles to try and resuscitate him but to no avail. Angered and frustrated, Daamir calls Mohamed a coward with no honor. Mohamed ignores this and begins to recite prayers in front of the man's body and then buries him with sand. The situation cools down and both men continue their hike through the desert.

Several hours of walking later, a heavy rain settles and the duo rush back to an abandoned village they had passed by earlier to take shelter and stay warm. Once rested and refuged from mother nature, Mohamed explains to Daamir why and how he got himself into this mess. He had killed his cousin for stealing grain since this grain was essential to keeping his parents and siblings fed. Had he let it happen, his family would have starved to death. Furthermore, his family was not able to pay the "blood-money" to appease their cousins, forcing Mohamed to flee and turn himself in to Skithan authorities. If he were to die at the hands of the Skithans, then his cousins would have nobody to take out their revenge on and neither would Mohamed's siblings seek retribution over their cousins. This was the only solution to Mohamed.

After having spent the night at the abandoned village, the pair are once again met with a group of armed men riding horses. This time, they were part of the Emmirian rebellion and were currently on their way to their base camp. They quickly confiscate any arms that Daamir and Mohamed were holding and decide to take them as temporary hostages. While held captive at the rebel base camp, Daamir takes note of a man who he recognized to have been an old friend from his days in the infantry. After a light-hearted reunion, Saamya, Daamir's friend, unties both of the hostages' hands. This cheerful moment is unfortunately short-lived as the rebels receive word that Skithan troops are approaching. Consequently, everybody in the camp packs up and start heading towards a nearby cave in order to hide.

In the cave, Saamya explains to Daamir how he must decide whether he was with or against the rebellion. Daamir, who had no intention to take part in any war, was caught aback by this as he had lived all of his life in Emmiria and had no qualms with either side. Saamya nevertheless leaves the decision up to Daamir. After this tense exchange, Daamir and Mohamed recount their experiences with women before going to sleep. Daamir explains to Mohamed how he got married in the city of Rhaga but unfortunately lost his wife. On the other hand, Mohamed never had the chance to get married and had never been with a woman.

The following morning, the rebels are ambushed by Skithan soldiers just as they leave the cave. The situation intensifies so much that the rebels are forced to flee from a back entrance to the cave. While escaping, most rebels are killed with only a few managing to escape, including Saamya. Daamir confronts the Skith troops and explains that Mohamed and him are mere hostages and are not involved in the uprising. The Skithan lieutenant verifies over radio that Daamir was a major in the army with a prisoner assigned to him and promptly releases them. Finally left to their own, Daamir and Mohamed continue their walk through the Emmirian desert.

Before reaching Maastir, Daamir decides to take Mohamed to the town of Berzina where has was born. There, Daamir reveals to Mohamed that his parents were actually from Sulifa and he had in fact no Skithan blood in him. Because of this, Daamir had always felt like an outsider in Emmiria. He then takes Mohamed to a bar in order to hire an escort for him. The bar owner, who knew Daamir when he was young, also hired him an escort. After this stop, the duo continue their trek.

Once Maastir is finally in view, Daamir offers Mohamed two choices. The first was to continue forward to Maastir and hand himself over to the authorities as he had planned. The second was to follow a secondary path that would lead him to a community of nomads willing to take him in. Mohamed deliberates over this for a long time but ultimately chooses the path towards the nomads. After saying their goodbyes, Daamir returns to his schoolhouse where he would teach his final lesson to his students before permanently leaving.

Synopsis of Movie:
Based on the comic series by Tinegardian Comics. In the near future, Iearth has been conquered by an enigmatic alien empire known as the Universal Emperium. In eight hours, Iearth surrendered unconditionally to the alien empire. Former Zamastanian marine Ingram Steele is relocated by the collaboration government to the occupied city of Tinegard (referred to as "Urban Center 19"). The following morning of his relocation, Ingram is implicated into a conspiracy to overthrow the Emperium when he allows two Resistance fighters to escape from capture. Ingram flees to the outer canals of the city where he meets the Tinegardian Resistance. The leader of the resistance, Anton Lorenz, gives Ingram the resistance routes and tells him to head to the Exclusion Zone outside of Urban Center 19 to find Dr. Katrina who has the key to defeating the Emperium in Tine.

Meanwhile, Overwatch (the artificial intelligence in charge of all Emperial units) has detected Ingram's involvement in the conspiracy and sanctions elimination and reprocessing. When Ingram arrives in the forest, he is forced to fight several Synthetic aliens. Ingram eventually finds Dr Katrina in the forest. Katrina was a pseudonym and is revealed to be Ingram's wife, Katherine. Katherine gives Ingram a nuclear device to destroy the Emperium's Citadel.

Ingram races back to Tinegard to find the city under assault once more. Fighting through the city, he eventually makes it into the citadel is about activate the device before a sniper strikes his leg.

Synopsis of Movie: In June 1901 Paraboca invades the Slavic Union, shortly after, The Soldier (Oscar Baryshnikov), an intelligent young man and a fierce Slavic nationalist, enlists in the Slavic Army, saying his goodbyes to his wife, The Girl Waiting Back Home (Alla Medvedeva) and boards a train taking him to the frontlines.

When he arrives he is enraptured by a speech being given by The General (Yefim Lazarev) and enthusiastically charges head on at the Parabocan frontlines when The General orders them to, the attack is a massive failure and hundreds are killed. When The Soldier returns to The General he apologizes for failing him, The General just shrugging and saying they'll try again the next day.

The Soldier quickly loses his enthusiasm for war, as his comrades are consistently killed in pointless attacks, driving him into a deep depression. As time goes on The Soldier begins to hallucinate the grim reaper everywhere around him, his commanding officers taking on it's appearance.

In 1903 the Parabocans drive back Slavic forces to the city of Adrikagorod, where the fiercest fighting of the war takes place, The Soldier struggles to comprehend the bloodshed going on around him, and he kills an injured Parabocan soldier grabbing at his foot. The Soldier collapses to the ground and holds the corpse in his arms, beginning to cry for the first time.

A few weeks later The Soldier is shot during battle and sent home, as he gets off the train his wife embraces him, but he just stares into space, the grim reaper turning the corner as The Soldier reaches out his hand and whispers "Why not me?"

Production or background information (optional):
The Reapers Parade was originally a book released in 1915, written by Maximillian Zuev, the book was a semi-autobiographical, as Zuev served in the Slavic Army during the Ledyanaya War, in 1904 getting shot in the knee, walking with a limp for the rest of his life. The book was controversial from the beginning, as Zuev was a devoted socialist activist and a proud member of the Slavic Social Democratic Party. Zuev would later go on to serve as the editor-in-chief of the Workers Voice, the national newspaper of the rebellious Slavic Socialist Republic.

In 1932 millionaire Luke Yefimov bought the rights to the book in 1932, and was highly selective and specific about how the film was made, refusing to accept even the slightest fault with the film. After 8 years of production the film was set to be released in December of 1940, but after Nikifor Osipov took power in October of that same year he banned several books and pieces of media he viewed as subversive and treasonous, The Reapers Parade being among that.

Synopsis of Movie: When eight-year-old Oscar Madson finds out that his parents are getting divorced, he retreats into a fantasy world filled with happy memories and conversations with his talking pet hamster, Buffy. One night, the young Oscar witnesses a violent homophobic attack on a teenage boy, whose attackers impale him through the stomach with a metal rod.

Ten years later, eighteen-year-old Oscar is close to graduating and is in the process of applying to a special effects make-up school in Staventer. He gets a job at a hardware store in hopes of spending less time with his father, who is casually childish and homophobic. At work, Oscar is drawn to a new employee, the confident and charismatic Wilder, but a sharp pain in Oscar's stomach warns him away. At home, Buffy tells Oscar that he seems happier and suggests that he is in love, a notion he quickly dismisses. Later, Oscar smells a shirt he lent Wilder, attempting to fall asleep, but is interrupted by another intense stomach pain.

Oscar and Wilder's friendship develops as Oscar's interactions with his father get increasingly strained. Wilder is fired from the hardware store and decides to move away, inviting Oscar to a goodbye costume party. Returning home to prepare for the party, Oscar finds out that he has been rejected from the make-up school, the only one to which he applied. His father discovers him trying on some of his mother's clothes and the two have a heated argument. Oscar forces his dad into a closet and races over to the party. Oscar spends the night trying to work out whether or not Wilder is gay, and gets assaulted by Andrew from Alsace before having painful hallucinations. After passing out, Oscar is roused by Wilder, who takes them back to Oscar's treehouse. Lying together, Wilder asks Oscar how long he has known he was gay, a question Oscar initially tries to avoid, but eventually he admits that he is confused and they finally kiss.

When Oscar wakes, Wilder is gone. Not wanting to see his father, he goes to his mother's house and confronts her for abandoning him in the divorce. She comforts him and suggests that he come live with her. Realizing that he has left Buffy at his father's, Oscar hurries back to retrieve her. Oscar's room has been destroyed by his father, who refuses to tell him where his hamster is. His mother arrives and as his parents fight, Oscar searches for Buffy, eventually finding her corpse in his belongings. His stomach pain returns with a vengeance and he hallucinates a metal rod bursting out of him. He rips it from his body and threatens his father.

At his mother's house, Oscar confesses that he didn't get into the only college he applied to. She suggests an artist's colony in the mountains at Sparde Lake where he can express his creativity. After arriving at the Lake, he has a final conversation with Buffy and accepts the truth about himself. Buffy reveals her truth to Oscar: that she is obviously not the original hamster from his childhood and that she has been replaced many times by his parents. He places her into a small wooden boat and pushes her body out into the lake. He returns to his room and thinks back on happier times with his father.

Production or background information (optional): Closet Teras (Teras meaning 'Monster' in Shoassauan), is Dunn's feature film directorial debut. The film is inspired by Dunn's experiences growing up as a gay teenager in Alsace. Dunn said a series of gay hate crimes in Alsace when he was growing up had a strong impact on him, his coming out and dealings with internalized homophobia.

The film was shot primarily in Alsace, with an additional scene shot at Lake Sparde in the Lutharia Alps.

Synopsis of Movie: In early May 1966, 24-year-old Franz Töpfer is living in Ochsenbeinfurt in West Besmenia. He works for his father in the butcher's shop, a job he doesn't really like, but due to the economic crisis he has no other choice. Franz generally hates West Besmenia and its authoritarian regime, and wishes to flee to East Besmenia to visit his grandparents, which are living in Freiz, whom he never met. His best friend Rudolf Menzel, whom he has known since childhood and lives across the street, also has the desire to go to East Besmenia. They decide to drive with Rudolf's car to the Inner Besmenian border in search of an old secret tunnel, rumored to have been built in the 1930s, from where they could escape to East Besmenia. The two then start packing for the trip. Shortly before leaving, Franz steals the money from his father. When they set off at 5 a.m., they are observed by the Ochsenbeinfurt-based agent of the State Security of Besmenia (SSB) Herbert Maukel, who is the neighbor of the two.

Franz and Rudolf drive from Ochsenbeinfurt to the West Besmenian capital Melmingen, where there is a traffic jam due to a state parade, which, contrary to the expectations of dictator Lars Schreim, is met with angry looks from the residents of Melmingen. Meanwhile, SSB agent Herbert Maukel is hired to follow Franz and Rudolf to prevent a possible escape to East Besmenia. When Franz and Rudolf drive out of Melmingen the next day, their car crashes into a tree. The two manage to escape from the car with all their belongings before it explodes. After the car accident, the two are forced to walk. After about a day, the two reach a farm where they are allowed to live temporarily with the farmer's permission. A few days later, Maukel appears at the farm because, according to his information, Franz and Rudolf should be staying there. Maukel is talking to the farmer there, while Franz and Rudolf are secretly watching the conversation. After the farmer refused to testify and allegedly knew nothing about Franz and Rudolf, Maukel shot him. Franz and Rudolf flee immediately and fortunately are not seen by Maukel.

After the two have to keep walking, they come across a base of West Besmenian Army troops in a wooded area. Fearing being killed by the troops, Franz and Rudolf pretend to be supporters of the BNU dictatorship. The two receive food and new clothes from the army troops. They also learn that there has been a state of war in West Besmenia for a few days. When a few days later a group of BNU opponents attacked the army base, Franz and Rudolf tried to escape by stealing a off-road vehicle from the West Besmenian Army. Shortly before fleeing, they meet the revolutionist Helga Kräuter. The two convince Helga that they are also opponents of the authoritarian regime before all three flee in the army vehicle. As they flee, they are observed by Maukel, who resumes the pursuit. After one day, the three make a stopover in a small village, which luckily has not yet been affected by the revolution. The three stop at a motel. While Rudolf is out to get food and drink, Franz spends the night with Helga. When Rudolf finds this out in the morning, he reacts angrily because he is also in love with Helga, yells at Franz and continues the journey in the army vehicle alone. Franz has a bad conscience and separates from Helga.

Franz is hitchhiked few days later to a village in the near of the Inner Besmenian border to East Besmenia. From there he walks before standing at the border to East Besmenia. Franz notices that the section of the border where he is, with two destroyed border towers and the corpses of border soldiers, was probably the site of the revolution before. Franz immediately looks for the location of the alleged secret tunnel, which turns out to be a lie. Shortly before Franz tries to climb over the fence, he walks over Maukel. Maukel reveals to Franz that he has been working for the State Security of Besmenia for many years and wants to kill him to prevent his escape. At that moment, Rudolf appears, who overwhelms Maukel and shoots him with his own gun. Afterwards, Franz and Rudolf are reconciled. The film ends with Franz and Rudolf going over the destroyed border, and are now on East Besmenian territory.

The book received negative reviews from some groups when it was first published because of its humorous and sometimes exaggerated portrayal of 1960s West Besmenia, but the book received mostly good reviews.

Synopsis of Movie: Jeet Johar, is a ruthless Tasiastani gangster living in Tofino, Zamastan. He and his gang take on the name of "Sotta" (which means good) Boys and dress in stylish, colourful suits. Jeet is irreverent, picking a feud with the much older Gulshaan Grewal, who deals in drugs and weapons. When his gang murders Lucky (and his girlfriend), a man who works for Grewal, for selling drugs on his turf, Jeet is arrested and forced to stand trial.

While in prison Jeet meets Nep, a failed wannabe kidnapper who ingratiates himself to Jeet by beating up some white supremacists. Jeet also becomes attracted to a blonde juror serving on his trial. He is eventually declared not guilty of the crime of Lucky's murder. Out of prison he introduces himself to Katya Drobot, the blonde juror, and installs her in a penthouse in a building he owns. He also has his crew contact Nep and tells him that in order to gain his favour he must do something to anger Grewal. Unsure of what to do, Nep contacts Grewal, whom he is secretly working for on behalf of Grewal. Grewal suggests that Nep kidnap his own daughter, Choti. Choti goes along with the plan, allowing Nep to impress Jett and officially become a Sotta Boy. During that process, Choti and Nep develop a relationship.

Over time, Jeet becomes cocky and hijacks some of Grewal's merchandise, then attempts to kill Grewal. Nep, aware of the plan, is able to warn Grewal in time to save his life. However, this casts suspicion that there is a mole inside Jeet's roster. Manny, one of the Sotta Boys, takes Nep with him to shake down Jamie, a businessman working for Grewal. Jamie gives up Nep as the mole, but then shoots Manny and lights him on fire. As Jeet is trying to figure out how members of his gang keep being murdered, Katya inadvertently reveals that Nep was with Manny when he died. Jeet takes Nep for a drive, intending to kill him, but they are pulled over by the police and Nep takes the blame for Jeet's illegal gun.

More and more men from Jeet's organization are murdered, for which they retaliate by killing more of Grewal's men. Grewal sends thugs to Katya's apartment, hoping to catch Jeet unaware; Jett is not there, so they murder Katya. Unsure of what to do, Jeet listens to his mother's suggestion that perhaps it would be best for the family to return to India.

Before going Jeet asks Nep to meet him at a nightclub. The two have a conversation, where Nep reveals that he is part of an undercover sting operation to take down Grewal, until Grewal unknowingly the Sotta Boys. Nep tells Jeet that he has wire taps of Jeet talking about his crimes, but no recordings of Grewal ordering him to kill Jeet as he uses intermediaries.

Loud gunshots are heard in the club and everyone flees. Nep runs to Grewal's waiting car, surprised to find Choti present, and tells Grewal that he has killed Jeet. Grewal tells the wired Nep why he ordered Jeet killed, then shoots Nep (with Choti preventing Nep's death by moving her father’s arm down) and pushes him out of his car. As Grewal stops to avoid a bystander, Jeet jumps in, revealing that Nep never shot him. He tells Grewal that Nep was an undercover cop and the best they can do is to turn themselves in. Surrounded by the police, Grewal allows Jeet and Choti to exit the car to surrender themselves. However, he exits the car and shoots Jeet dead, and is himself killed by the police.

Synopsis of Movie: A short documentary where we follow journalist Alex Valiant traveling through Albertine's underbelly and following the lives of three outcasts of society; the herion junky Phillipe Arcaux who every day struggles with his addiction; James Ode-Ntana who has been homeless for five years after getting kicked from his job; and Melanie Petit who has been forced to earn money through drastic measures to be able to take care off her three kids after her husband died two years ago due to lack of safety at his work. Alex Valiant follows these three people through a normal day of their lives, seeing their respective struggles and giving a voice to those who the system will not listen too. This short documentary manages to show all the dark sides of Jumbosa's capital in less than 30 minutes, and the viewer gets to see all the places the city tries to hide. Everything from hotspots for drug dealers, to popular sleeping places off the homeless, to the districts where criminal activities are the norm. This short documentary is a very personal and touching deep dive into the places in Albertine where the sun never shines.

After witnessing his brother falling out of the system, and later die, because of a drug addiction, Alex Valiant wanted to show the rest of the Jumbosan population the horrible backside of Albertine and Jumbosa's lack of social justice policies. The result is a very touching deep dive into the darkest corners of Albertine, where Alex Valiant not only meet with broken outcasts but also has to confront with his brother's death.

Synopsis of Movie: Lost Boys of Lundia is a documentary film by Philip Opolo about two Apatonian boys from Lundia, Obuto Muga (8 years old) and Origi Owiti (2 years old), who reached Quetana after fleeing the civil war in their country. "Orphaned as young boys" in the Apatonia Civil War, they "survived lion attacks and militia gunfire to reach a refugee camp in Unified Sera along with thousands of other children."

The documentary is 24 minutes long and begins with the difficult journey of Obuto and Origi, as described in their native Lundian language. They cross the border into Unified Sera in the middle of the night and they are picked up by Seran troops, who take them to a refugee camp.

There, the boys meet Philip Opolo, who had been documenting life in the refugee camp. Learning that Obuto and Origi's families had fled to Quetana several months before, Philip pays for flights for the two boys and joins them through an intensive process of relocation, management, and bureaucratic navigation as they finally board a plane in Kito'Bahari to Vongane, where they are reunited with their families in the airport.

A message at the end of the film reads "There are more than 20,000 displaced and refugee children from the wartorn Lundia province in Apatonia. More than 600 children have died in the fighting.". The message is accompanied by footage of Origi and Obuto playing futbol in a park in central Vongane.

Production or background information (optional): The documentary's title “Lost Boys of Lundia” was originally the name given to the group of eastern Apatonian youth by CCA aid workers who were monitoring their flight from Apatonia.

Much of the documentary footage during the first half is from Obuto's cell phone, which gives the film a personal and point-of-view feeling. The remainder of the documentary is filmed in much higher quality as Philip Opolo followed their journey to Quetana. Because of the personal nature of the footage, the film is largely self recorded.

Synopsis of Movie: Ahmad, an Emmirian man, returns to Kuresa after four years to finalise his divorce with his wife Marie. On the way to her home, he learns that she has begun a relationship with Samir, the owner of a dry cleaning service and he is to share a room with Samir's son Fouad. At Marie's request, he speaks to her daughter from a previous marriage, Lucie, regarding her recent troubled behavior. Lucie disapproves of Marie's new relationship.

Ahmad and Marie attend court to complete their divorce. Just before the meeting with the officials, she tells him that she is pregnant with Samir's child. Ahmad continues to counsel Lucie, hoping to reconcile her to the situation. She reveals that Samir is still married and his wife is in a coma after a suicide attempt, caused by the revelation that Samir and Marie were conducting an affair. Samir tells Ahmad that his wife suffered from depression and the suicide attempt was in fact caused by an incident with a customer in his shop. His wife was unaware of his affair and he arranges for Naïma, his employee, who witnessed both the suicide attempt and the incident in the shop, to meet with Lucie.

After hearing Naïma's story, Lucie becomes distressed and confesses that she forwarded Marie and Samir’s email correspondence to Samir's wife the day before she tried to kill herself, after calling her at the dry cleaning shop. Lucie disappears, and Ahmad and Samir search for her. Ahmad finds Lucie, who has been staying with a friend, and tries to convince her to tell Marie what she did, saying that Marie has a right to know, now that she is carrying Samir's child. Lucie does so and Marie becomes enraged, telling Lucie to leave, which she does. Ahmad calms the situation and Marie goes after Lucie, asking her to come back, which she does.

After questioning what feelings he may still hold for his wife, Marie tells Samir what Lucie did. Samir finds this hard to accept and questions Naïma about the events leading up his wife's suicide attempt. Naïma states his wife wasn't even in the shop the day that Lucie said she called. After Marie accuses Lucie of lying, Lucie maintains her version of events saying that she spoke to a woman with an accent on the phone. Samir realizes that she actually spoke to Naïma, who then gave Lucie his wife's email address. He confronts Naïma, who confesses and explains that his wife had always been jealous of her and had been trying to get her either sacked or deported from Kuresaand had initiated the confrontation with the customer. However, Naïma believes that his wife never read the emails, because she came into the shop and chose to drink bleach in front of her, instead of in front of Samir or Marie.

Samir and Marie discuss the events and their relationship. Samir decides that they should focus on their future, while Marie appears conflicted. Ahmad prepares to return to Emmiria. He says farewell to the children and attempts to talk to Marie about the end of their marriage, but Marie does not let him, stating that she doesn't need to know such things now. Meanwhile, Samir visits his wife in the hospital with a selection of perfumes, which the doctors have recommended in order to possibly initiate a response. He sprays onto his neck some of his cologne and leans over her lying comatose in her hospital bed. With his face close to his wife's he whispers to her to squeeze his hand if she can smell it. A tear rolls down her check but she remains comatose, and he looks down at her hand, which may or may not be holding his. It is unclear in the final scene whether she is responsive or not.

Synopsis of Movie: Ellis Evans, a vagrant, lives out of his car in Marineville and scavenges for food and money. After learning of the impending release of Wade Cleland, the man who murdered Ellis's parents twenty years ago, Ellis returns to his hometown in Saint Raneau. En route he steals a gun but breaks it trying to open its trigger lock.

Ellis watches the Clelands collect Wade from prison in a limousine and follows them. They go to a local club to celebrate Wade's release. Ellis follows Wade to the club's restroom and fatally stabs him. Having dropped his car keys in the club, Ellis steals the Clelands' limousine. Discovering a teenage boy, William Cleland, in the back of the car, Ellis lets him go. William implies that Wade didn't kill Ellis's parents.

After cleaning himself up, Ellis visits his sister, Sam, for the first time in years and tells her that he has killed Wade. Sam is shocked but relieved of this revelation. As the killing has gone unreported on the news, Ellis surmises that the Clelands have decided to seek revenge without police involvement. Since Ellis's car is registered to Sam's address, she flees her home with her daughters and Ellis waits in the family house for the Clelands' attack. Wade's two brothers, Teddy and Carl, arrive in Ellis's car. As Ellis escapes, he runs over Teddy and places the unconscious body in the trunk. Before he can drive away, Carl shoots him with a crossbow.

After having the wound treated at a hospital, Ellis returns to Sam's house to clean up from the attack. He tracks down Ben Gaffney, an old high school friend, and asks for help. After obtaining a rifle, Ellis interrogates Teddy at gunpoint on Ben's property. Teddy reveals that Wade was not his parents' killer. Ellis 's father and Wade Sr.'s wife were having an affair. As revenge, Wade's now deceased father killed his father and his mother's death was incidental, as she just happened to be in the car during the ambush. Wade Jr. took the blame as his father was dying from cancer and the family did not want him to die in prison. Teddy wrestles the gun from Ellis, but is shot dead by Ben from a concealed position. Ben and Ellis put Teddy's body back into the trunk and part ways after Ben resupplies Ellis with food and more weapons. To keep Ben from further involvement, Ellis sabotages his truck.

Ellis goes to the Cleland house and removes as many hidden firearms as he can. He buries Teddy, and waits to ambush the Clelands. He leaves a message on the house answering machine telling them that Teddy is dead and asks them to leave Sam out of the dispute, saying that they are even. Carl, his older sister, Kris, and their cousin, Hope, return and listen to Ellis's message. When it becomes clear that the Clelands intend to kill Sam, Ellis shoots and kills Carl. He then holds the women at gunpoint while explaining his dilemma about whether he should kill them all. William enters through another door and shoots Ellis. Despite his wound, Ellis disarms William and tells him to leave with his car. As William leaves, Ellis tells the women that William is his half-brother. Hope attempts to attack Ellis as Kris reaches for a gun hidden under a recliner. Kris mortally wounds Ellis and accidentally kills Hope, but is shot dead by Ellis. Ellis dies on the floor, mumbling that the keys are in the car.

The concept of a revenge story appealed to Saulnier, who said that it "was just about grounding the film in a very mundane scenario that needed so little exposition." The film's plot also serves as a critique for Saulnier of films that he enjoyed growing up. In particular, several violent crimes in the early years of the 2010s in Albarine "made [him] miserable", and he said he "couldn't do a film that was akin to those awesome genre spectacles of my youth" in said climate.

The film was financed with help from a successful fundraiser campaign in 2018 asking for A$35,000 and money from Saulnier's own savings. Saulnier initially did not want to use the crowd funding platform, as he felt conflicted about asking for help, specifically that donors could not invest in the back end through the site. However, he eventually realized that the positive outweighed the negative. Saulnier said that when making the pitch video for the campaign "I faced my worst nightmare" as he was camera shy.
