Wildfires.
Long live New Harbourland!
Basically Australia but there’s a 20 years-long civil war lasting from 1940 to 1960 and eventually democratic socialists not only reunify the country, but they gain New Zealand and Papua New Guinea through “Democratic” ways.

Despite extensive surveys from 1870-present, no volcanic or earthquake activity detected. However, we do get 5.000 tornados a year and tornado season is year round. All homes, tailer parks, schools, hospitals, and animal clinics must have underground shelters or above grounds safe rooms.

The worst tornado outbreak? May 16th 1930, 3 million dead, five million wounded, 6 million homeless. In 1943, Naval Task Force Gold was obliterated by six EF-5 tornados. Three carriers, two battle cruisers, six destroyers, and ten E-boats were sunk. After this, a national tornado warning system was developed. Since 1958, no more than thirty people have been killed in a tornado.

Floods are a common disaster in Domasia because Domasia's altitude is close to sea level, that's why some areas in Domasia are planning to build a giant sea wall along the coast.

Western Sol is plagued by large, repeating sandstorms, sandstorms that are common enough that everyone who lives there have just gotten used to it, they happen at least twice a week and luckily aren’t often that intense, it’s worse at night as the sand is black and acts like a fog, severely hindering visibility, luckily most vehicles are fitted with GPS so it isn’t a big deal

Usually, floods, because of the city's close proximity to the ocean, and sometimes the flood freezes over, causing a small state of emergency, fortunately, a frozen flood event has only happened twice, once in 1990, and another time in 2034.

Usually the season's fish harvest is found on the ground after floods.

Also winter storms happen regularly.

The North American Union is a large continental nation, so depending on where one lives, the most common natural disaster would vary.

On the mainland NAU, floods and severe storms are the most common natural disasters. For the Caribbean provinces, hurricanes are the most common natural disasters.

Hurricanes are the most common disaster Cosnicu faces, althought eh most devastating ones it experiences are Earthquakes and vulcanism. Cosnicus location in a large body of water means it is oomed to be in the paths of most local hurricanes. In order to prevent this much of its infrastructure is designed to redirect waterflow. Most, if not all of its cities (excluding ramustulfa) are built in a conical shape, forcing water to flow into drains quickly. It would take a hurricane that could deliver about thirty times the amount that Harvey delivered before the storm surge would endanger the city or its population. The greatest risk are "rural" houseboats not tied to any city or island. That is usually the highest casualty of any hurricane or Tsunami that forms and hits Cosnicu.

While hurricanes are the most common disasters, it is easier to prepare for them than an earthquake or volcanic activity. Cosnicu has a few "hotspot" islands in its borders, and they have contributed to 6% of all deaths that have ever occured in Cosnicu.

The most common disasters in The Democratic Republic of Yukon is:

-Blizzards: The majority of Yukon is mountainous and already freezing, so blizzards are heavily present, even in some summer months such as June and September! However, these blizzards usually occur in January through March and kill around 80 people each year on average.

-Earthquakes: Due to the fact that the southern portion of Yukon is located on the infamous Ring of Fire, earthquakes happen frequently. Most buildings and all buildings above 4 floors require earthquake protection, all the way to the 65th Parallel North. Even with these countermeasures, earthquakes are very destructive and cause millions of dollars in damage every now and then. The most infamous example of such earthquake causing catastrophe was in 1907, when a 8.1 magnitude earthquake struck 15 miles from Yukon Junction, and killed 14,000 people in the city alone, and destroying more than 70% of Yukon Junction, with severe damage occuring in nearby communities of F'ordgorod and Pultz.

-Tsunamis: As another side effect of being on the Ring of Fire, tsunamis are also prevalent. Tsunami usually aren't too disasterous due to the fact that shelter is easily accessable (the mountains), and most people live inland, but these tsunamis can cause severe damage. A notable example occured in Yakornyport in 1977, when a 7.5 magnitude earthquake 100 miles from Attu, formed a 15 foot tsunami that devasted the city and killed 811 people.

avalanches in the higher mountains.
earthquakes and wildfires also happen.
most of nologap is mountainous nearly all well enough drained for flooding to be extremely rare and of course can only happen in areas lower lying then their surroundings, such as the bottoms of valleys.
fires are also relative rare dispite our mountains being mostly densely forested, for the simple reason that they are well wetted and often deeply snowed in.
vulcanic activity is rare, though of course may well happen. places subject to it, as with flooding, are well mapped and well known.
zootic diseases are not unknown, but seldom reach pandemic proportions.
owing to the biology of our citizens and advancements in genetic engineering, they are seldom fatal,
most often resulting only in an annoying rash.
yes this even includes rabies, understandably feared by humans, which most of us are not.

we don't generally blame nature for the supidity of people parking themselves in its path, such as by building on known flood planes, and locations subject to rapid and un-pre-indicated snow or earth slippage. or lack of proper and logical caution with open flame. lack of proper and logical caution with anything for that matter.

Because flood waters drain into the valleys which is where most of the larger city's are. A category 1 hurricane kills and injures over 1,000 people yearly.
Another natural disaster is sand storms. Sand storms cause Keratoconjunctivitis sicca (dry eye) which could lead to blindness, they may cause Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and
