Okay, I've read this again, there are other problems with the app.
1. Wet foot, dry foot. There are no "Cuban illegal immigrants" unless they don't even apply for a visa.
2. What I mean is unrealistic is that he could totally reform and turn his life around...it is unbelievably unrealistic that a 13-year-old in the ghetto who gets out of jail can become a perfect shiny Republican veteran borderline Mary Sue. If you or another admin wants to argue with me that's fine.

4. Felons can't enlist in the army unless granted a special waver by the DoD.

1. That is true, and I know the law very well, I can tailor that as needed.
2. Some juvenile offenders do desperately reform, some do not. I hardly think a person who is short-tempered and highly judgemental, especially with a rumored wandering eye, and may be cozy with organized crime figures is a Mary Sue.
3. It is not overly hard to win in combat, especially if you're engaged multiple times.
4. I don't know the policy with juvenile offenders, oftentimes your record is wiped clean at 18.
5. He did an aggressive door-to-door campaign. Even though his district would be an easy win for any Republican candidate, he campaigned hard and gave it 100%.

These grumblings have only intensified since his son took office in the Senate, but the older Seidel assures the public that his oldest progeny is his own man. Who truly believes that is anyone's guess.
Biography: Born June 16, 1949 in Trenton, Missouri to Ted and Frida Seidel, Sutton was the fourth of seven children, raised in a poor, neglected area of the state without much in the way of amenities or recreation. Ted Seidel was a policeman, the oldest of 10 siblings himself and an alcoholic who would often redirect the anger built up on the job onto his own children and his wife via both verbal and physical abuse. Frida Seidel would work in an assembly line before being forced to quit her job by her husband in 1954, after which she would devote herself fully to taking care of the children, to the best of her limited ability. The family surviving on only one source of income in a house far too small to accommodate such a large group, Sutton and his siblings would often go hungry, most of his full meals coming from friends when he would visit their houses for sleepovers or to complete homework. Sutton would often attend school after being beaten early in the morning by his father, with visible bruises and a distinct lack of sleep, but at no time during this early stage of his life would a teacher or other adult intervene on his behalf. Initial childhood aspirations to enter nursing as his grandmother had were beaten out of him after a pamphlet concerning the matter from the middle school’s career day was discovered by his father, as were considerations of becoming an author. Life would change dramatically at age 14, when, after a community Fourth of July event, Sutton bore witness to the sexual assault of his young sister, Suzette, at the hands of his father. Blinded by rage and shock, Sutton would retrieve one of the house’s many firearms and shoot Ted Seidel several times, killing him instantly. Ultimately, Sutton would not face legal consequences for the killing due to the circumstances, though that would not mark the end of his tribulations. Just 9 days following his father’s death, Frida Seidel would commit suicide, throwing herself from a bridge and drowning in a nearby creek.
Sutton was thoroughly traumatized by these events and would undergo mandatory counseling for the next four years, him and his younger siblings moving in with their aging and recently widowered grandfather in Texarkana, Texas. Quiet, reserved, and still processing what had happened during his first year in a new place, it was in his sophomore year of high school that Seidel would turn to Christ, regularly attending a Lutheran church in town and becoming quickly well liked as an involved and devout member of the congregation, activity encouraged by his grandfather, a retired pastor himself. Finding community for the first time in his life, Sutton used the church group as a support system and soon thereafter flourished. Sutton would also participate in high school football, discovering an extraordinary natural talent for it and eventually becoming the consistent MVP of the team. Here in Texarkana, Seidel would come into his own, becoming very popular with his peers and even falling in love with the preacher’s daughter, Mary Patterson. He would perform decently in school, excelling particularly in English with the help of a good self-sought tutor, but his sports talent would be what drew the most attention, his incredible high school football career ultimately landing him a full ride scholarship to the University of Texas at Austin, where he would play for the Longhorns and become the team’s star quarterback. He would rush the Phi Delta Theta fraternity and become deeply involved with its on campus dealings, including more than one incident of hazing, though his star status on the football team would absolve him of any consequence for these occurrences. Though most areas of his life saw further improvement in college, his relationship with Ms. Patterson deteriorated and the two ended their long-time relationship during his sophomore year, with Stenson having numerous girlfriends during the remainder of his college life. Deferred from the draft due to his academic and athletic careers, Sutton would nevertheless lose two good friends to the conflict, including his best friend, an African-American and former teammate by the name of Milton Jefferson, something that would weigh on him heavily. Nevertheless, he would persist with his endeavors and finish college with a plethora of accolades, including a degree in business, two national college championships, a Maxwell Award and a Heisman in 1970 as well.
An extraordinary star player, he would immediately be drafted into the NFL upon his graduation in 1971, playing for the Dallas Cowboys, with whom he would spend 9 seasons total. During his second season, he would marry his girlfriend of a year and a half, Lillian Kitts. In the national spotlight after groundbreaking performances, Stetson would take over as Quarterback of the team in 1975, going down as one of, if not the greatest, quarterbacks of all time after leading the Cowboys to Victory in the ‘75, ‘77, and ‘78 Superbowls, winning SB MVP in ‘75 and ‘78. Seidel’s most famous moment was the "Hail Mary pass" in the 1975 playoff game against the Minnesota Vikings. With seconds on the clock and the Cowboys trailing 14–10, Seidel launched a 50-yard pass to wide receiver Drew Pearson, who caught the pass and strode into the end zone for a 17–14 victory. After the game, Seidel told the press that he threw the ball and said a "Hail Mary". Since then, any last-second pass to the end zone in a desperate attempt to score a game-winning or tying touchdown is referred to as a "Hail Mary" pass, and the term has entered colloquial use. Sutton would earn nicknames like “Sizzling Sutton” for his good looks and speed on the field, "Captain America" as quarterback of “America's Team”, and also "Captain Comeback" due to his late game heroics, and he would become a household name in the late 70’s. Sutton would unfortunately injure himself goofing off with teammates during practice in 1979, and he would retire in 1980 after a 9 season career. During his offseasons, Seidel’s hands were not idle, building a business off of his name via the self-nomered Seidel Corporation, with successful ventures into sportswear, real estate, breakfast cereal and even a successful line of toys based off of famous sportsmen (and later women). As a result, Seidel would exit the NFL a multimillionaire, and would use his newfound wealth and free time to broaden his investment portfolio even further and capitalize on numerous and varied lucrative opportunities both foreign and domestic. It was in 1980 when he would also first develop a relationship with politics, donating handsomely to Ronald Reagan and stumping for the candidate across the country, calling him “inspiring” and “everything an American President should be”. Seidel’s children would come in ‘75, ‘79, and ‘81, Shawn, Chloe, and Julia respectively.
During the 80’s, Seidel primarily worked on expanding and broadening his business, an entity whose tentacles would aim to reach into every lucrative sector in the U.S from wine, to film and publishing, even to luggage. Using his fame to forge partnerships with those already entrenched in various sectors, including his good friend Hoss Manot, he would also grow close to newcomers in the scene, the most fateful of which was the founder of the fledgling Microsoft, Bill Gates, who would convince Seidel to invest after an initial hesitancy to do so. The investment, along with the many others made, would catapult Seidel into gross wealth, with the former athlete reaching a net worth of several billion dollars and allowing him to invest the capital necessary to permanently entrench himself as a power player in the Sportswear, Publishing, and Toy industries. It was during this time that his marriage would become shaky and he would stray heavily from his faith, with several affairs damaging his relationship with his wife and a cocaine habit resulting in more than a few dangerous benders and close calls with the law. Seidel would live the high life, partying with the likes of close friend Tripp Baylor as his wife began finding it hard to recognize him anymore, and accepting entries into Halls of Fame while missing his kids’ dance recitals and sports games. He would even purchase his former NFL team in 1989 for $180 Million, and become intimately involved with the team's decision making, sometimes to its benefit, sometimes otherwise. He would father two bastard children during this time, Richard Orrin Chase with actress Penelope Chase in 1987 and Rodrigo Manuel Hernandez with a maid at his Cancun, Mexico residence in 1990.
With a rise so significant and fruitful, it was only a matter of time before Icarus flew too close to the sun. On May 23rd, 1991, Sutton, along with his wife and three children, went on a trip to the Grand Canyon. The couple spent the entirety of the trip to the location arguing, and as the day progressed, the two became more incensed with one another, with witnesses to the behavior of the pair that day describing it as “incredibly hostile and upsetting.” At around 3:45 PM, the family found themselves at a large rock formation overlooking the canyon, and the lone non-family witness to the scene described the interaction he heard between the two adults as “almost unbelievably angry.” At some point, the couple found themselves near the edge of the rocks, and as the argument hit a fever pitch, something happened, though exactly what depends on who you ask. According to Sutton Seidel, Shawn Seidel, and Chloe Seidel, Lillian Seidel lost her footing in the heat of the moment and fell, 221 feet, to her death, screaming all the while and dying upon impact with a large rock below. According to Sutton’s youngest daughter, Julia, however, Mr. Seidel violently pushed her mother from the cliffside to her death. The immediate aftermath of the incident was a media firestorm, with national headline news laser focused on the former NFL star turned businessman and what role he may have played in his wife’s demise. Much was made of his daughter’s accusation, to the point that the Federal Bureau of Investigation opened a probe into the matter before dismissing it due to lack of evidence, and significant damage was done to his personal brand. Despite maintaining his innocence, Sutton lost his seat on a number of corporate boards, including Microsoft’s, and suddenly partners who had stuck by him for years were too busy to take a call. His affairs were exposed as the tabloids ran story after story about the former golden boy’s personal life, sketchy business ventures, and the civil suit brought against him by the family of the deceased. Settling out of court for an undisclosed amount of money and signing away custody of his youngest daughter to her maternal grandparents, Sutton became a recluse, sheltering himself with his other two children in his home in rural Germany for a good year as the firestorm slowly subsided. When he emerged, his reputation was badly tattered, his body and mind were sober, and no amount of money in the world was going to be able to fix the hole that had been left in his life.

Given the cold shoulder by his old friend Manot as he launched his independent campaign for the Presidency in ‘92, an idea was hatched in Sutton’s brain on a cold day in Cologne. The strongest tentacle arms of the Seidel Corporation were largely shielded from the fallout of that fateful day given their independent branding and marketing, so he had continued to reap financial rewards from his most profitable enterprises, leaving him with more money than he knew what to do with, even after ceding the Florida properties and a sizable sum to the in-laws. Money that could be used to buy not only influence, but public defenders. Hence, Sutton Seidel’s career as a GOP megadonor had begun. Funneling millions of dollars into the campaign to reelect Cush Sr. and millions more into downballot primary and general election races, Sutton Seidel suddenly, seemingly overnight, had a legion of Republican electeds eager to defend him when the subject was occasionally broached in interviews. With the tide of public opinion washing past him and his reputation stabilizing (but never fully recovering to its high) with subsequent event appearances and strategically sympathetic interviews, Seidel once again found his place in the world, though this time pulling strings behind the scenes instead of acting center stage. He would meanwhile fully clean up his act, embracing, recognizing, and legally adopting his two illegitimate children and permanently abandoning both drugs and alcohol. He would also quite publicly return to regular church services and begin to describe himself as a “born again” christian, converting to Methodism. Seidel would relocate his primary residence back to Dallas and would begin an extremely expensive influence campaign that would bear fruit in a horde of newly influenced congressmen and state legislators brought in by the Republican Revolution of 1994, including being the largest individual donor to the Cush Jr. Gubernatorial bid in Texas. Throughout the remainder of the 1990’s, Seidel would build a reputation as a donor who rewarded loyalty, financing upstart campaigns to unseat incumbents if they proved unwilling to move in the direction of the conglomerate’s interests but also fighting back against radical and racist challengers where they arose, particularly in the State of Texas. Seidel would support Not-Dole’s ‘96 Bid and attend the RNC, though he would not speak. He would also remarry in ‘96, to his former maid Mariana Hernandez, now Mariana Seidel, in a private ceremony. In 1997 his grandfather would die at a very advanced age, severing one of Sutton’s strongest ties to the world before his fame and fortune. He would arrange an extravagant funeral, and would lay his grandfather to rest himself.
As the 2000 Election cycle approached, Seidel hitched his wagon to Cush Jr. yet again, this time on its way to the White House, buying his way into a seat at the campaign’s roundtable and serving as a surrogate as well as a donor. He would develop a personal relationship with Cush Jr, not as significant as the one he had developed with his father but one strong enough to call him a friend. Despite this, Seidel’s advice not to select Not-Cheney to accompany him on the ticket would fall on deaf ears, much to the man’s chagrin. When Cush ultimately won the election, not without the drama of the SCOTUS debacle, it was floated that perhaps Seidel would join the Administration’s cabinet. This would not come to pass, with Seidel instead seeking to influence the Presidency in an unofficial capacity as a “Presidential Advisor”. Seidel would continue to support Cush and his agenda heavily up until the invasion of Iraq in 2003, when his support for the Commander-In-Chief would suddenly lessen, with more resources being diverted to downballot candidates such as Governor Pender, Not-Vitter in Louisiana, and his son’s campaign for Texas’ 4th Congressional District. After achieving victories in those races, Seidel would deeply involve himself in cleanup efforts post-Katrina, donating a sizable amount of cash to contain and reverse the damage done and assisting volunteers in person, sparking speculation among political media types about his ultimate intentions.
In late 2005, it became clear that the incumbent Senator from Texas would retire, taking a posting in the Cush administration. Many expected a fierce primary battle among prominent Texas Republicans, with several having waited for such an opening for years. This battle, however would not come to pass. Leveraging the power he had begun to wield as the “Silent King of Texas Politics”, Seidel whipped up the support of those whose pocketbooks he controlled, including Governor Pender, and backed his son, an inexperienced 30 year old congressional freshman, for the Senate seat. The move would shock many, and the incumbent Lieutenant Governor would launch a challenge to Shawn Seidel anyhow, blasting him as inexperienced and a product of nepotism. This would prove a fatal mistake, with a wide variety of stories suddenly popping up in Texas media outlets about the Lt. Gov’s use of blackface in college, sexist comments towards women, and inappropriate groping in years gone by. With the state party backing Seidel’s spawn, the Lieutenant Governor’s career was destroyed, losing in the primary 33 to 56 and retiring into obscurity after being pressured to resign by Governor Pender. This would cement Sutton’s iron stranglehold on Texas' political landscape, his son winning a convincing victory over a generic democrat and his influence now permeating both Senate Seats, The Governor’s Mansion, and most of the House delegation.
Now, its 2007, and an open national primary on the Republican side is leaving Seidel scratching his head and wondering which horse to back, with nobody yet catching his eye. With his close friend Tripp Baylor running on the Democratic side and a dissatisfaction with Cush settling deeply within him, some wonder if Seidel will endorse anyone at all. Only time will tell.

Richard Orrin Chase-Seidel was born on January 10th, 1987 in Los Angeles, California. He is the son of Sutton Seidel and Actress Penelope Chase-Winston, born as the result of an affair had by the couple in the mid 80's. Sutton Seidel legally adopted his son in 1993 and is on good terms with his mother. Richard currently attends UCLA and is pursuing a degree in interior design. He is unmarried.
Rodrigo Manuel Seidel was born on November 3, 1990, in Cancun, Mexico. He is the son of Sutton Seidel and his then maid and current wife, Mariana Seidel. He was legally recognized and adopted by Sutton in 1993 and was raised in Seidel's primary residence in the United States. He currently attends a private high school in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metropolitan area.
The Seidel family owns a number of pets at various residences, though the domestic companions closest to Sutton's heart are his two Tibetan Mastiffs, Otto and Ellie, who have been a part of the family for 6 years.

My father will hear about this: While it may be tempting to mess with the junior Senator from Texas, making an enemy of him would more likely than not bring one of the most powerful influencers in Republican politics down on your neck like an executioner’s axe. Not something most would seek out in a town where most people have secrets they don’t want exposed.
The A-Team: Senator Seidel is surrounded by an extraordinary staff of PR experts, stylists, speechwriters and others who make sure that the image he projects is one of confidence, capability, and conservatism. They’re getting paid good money to make sure not a single hair is out of place, not a single word off script, and it has paid off.
What a nice young man: As a result of his careful manipulation, the perception of the Senator is that he is a nice young man, adding a youthful and charismatic touch to the people of Texas’ congressional representation and making him not only popular back home for now, but widely seen as attractive and a sought after bachelor.Main Weaknesses:
Daddy’s boy: Shawn, relatively new in Washington, is widely perceived as the voting arm of his father in the U.S. Senate, and as such he is mocked in some circles, feared in others, and treated in a lukewarm manner by most. This has also preemptively damaged his relationships with Democrats, many of whom view his father as a cancer on American democracy or at best a significant political foe.
Thrown into the deep end: Shawn Seidel has no idea how Washington is supposed to work. He can get through functions, smile and wave, work through meetings and press conferences, but the court intrigue of Washington is completely lost on him, rendering him somewhat vulnerable to those sorts of maneuverings- provided his dad doesn’t find out.
Skeletons in the Closet: If you hooked Shawn Seidel up to a polygraph and asked him if he was a completely heterosexual man, he would probably fail the test, or at least refuse to take it. Now, polygraphs are wrong all the time, not an accurate measure of anything, but that’s certainly an interesting fact. A couple of the men he has known in the past definitely think so, anyways.
Biography: Shawn Tyler Seidel was born on August 1st, 1975 in Austin, Texas to Sutton and Lillian Sedel. Born into comfort and luxury, Shawn wanted for nothing, idolizing his father as a great hero in his early childhood and hoping to one day follow in his footsteps as a professional athlete. This perception would warp as the elder Seidel began spending less and less time with his children, but Shawn would always maintain a positive perception of his father, his own identity confused and unsure in the shadow of such an accomplished athlete and businessperson and his mother doing her best to hide the dark history that preceded his dad’s success. Attending private schools the entirety of his childhood, Shawn would be popular, but never leader of the pack, more comfortable doing as he was told then venturing out on his own and taking initiative. As the years went on, Shawn realized a few things about himself that he would keep hidden, and discarded a few dreams which seemed unrealistic given his position in the social hierarchy and the expectations levied on him as the oldest son and presumed heir to a vast fortune.
When the incident occurred at the Grand Canyon involving his mother’s death, Shawn, having not seen what occurred due to being preoccupied with a lizard racing across a rock, believed his father and middle sister’s accounting of events, viewing the occurrence as a horrible and avoidable accident rather than any act of malice on the part of his father. He was traumatized by the event, undergoing therapy and developing a bizarre feeling of guilt for having not saved his mother from her fall, or even fallen himself in her place. His father, sobered and more present in his life now, would take a more active role, encouraging his son’s participation in high school basketball and enforcing his consistent church attendance, much to the younger Seidel’s chagrin. Shawn would graduate with decent grades and attend his father’s Alma Mater, UT-Austin, joining the same fraternity his dad had been a part of and joining the university’s basketball team, though he was never an exceptional player. Eschewing a degree in business first to pursue philosophy, Shawn would be talked into instead majoring in political science, a pursuit which he would take to well despite no real passion existing for the subject. While Shawn would have several girlfriends throughout college, no relationship lasted longer than 6 months.
Graduating in 1997, Shawn would be pushed by a professor of his to attend law school, his father’s wealth and connections allowing him to attend Yale, where he would struggle, but make it through with the help of a good friend. Upon graduation, he would be placed within the structure of the Seidel Corporation, familiarizing himself with its legal department and often accompanying his father to business meetings and political events. He would have a brief relationship with the daughter of a Seidel Corp. board member, but the relationship would be cut short following her pregnancy, which she would abort over his objections.
In 2003, Shawn would be approached by his father with a seemingly ridiculous proposition: run for elected office, and serve in the United States Congress. While he initially opposed the idea, his father’s insistence made it difficult to refuse, and he would eventually throw his hat into the ring for the open seat, winning it easily over a small town mayor due to a combination of natural charisma and a fuckload of his dad’s cash funneling into the campaign. Once sworn in, Shawn was surrounded by a crack team hired by his father to prune and construct his image as a young, charismatic and vibrant rising star in Texas politics, as opposed to what he was in reality, an unengaged nepotism hire. His single term in the house was completely uneventful, towing the party line and mostly appearing on cable and talk radio to boost his profile rather than legislating.
He would be blindsided in 2005 when his father would essentially coerce him into running for Senate, assuring his son that victory was guaranteed but creating a small rift between the two as the younger Seidel recognized his lack of experience and took issue with being forced into a position where his every move would be under heavy scrutiny. Ultimately succumbing to his father’s wishes, Shawn ran an effective, though not terribly inspired, campaign, and won the primary largely due to his father’s smearing of his only significant opponent, the state’s Lieutenant Governor. He would coast to victory in the general election, and take office in January 2007 as the youngest member of the U.S. Senate.
Since taking the oath, Shawn has essentially acted as an extension of his father, towing the party line on issues in lockstep with his dad’s and breaking with it on the issues where the elder Seidel disagreed with party orthodoxy. Out of his depth and treading water with few friends, Shawn faces an internal crisis, wondering if he should attempt to carve out his own identity away from his father, or hold back from biting the hand that has fed him his entire life. One thing is for sure, with a presidential election underway and Washington beginning to buzz with activity, Shawn is going to have a lot of choices to make.Other Info:
Racial Background and Languages: Just like his father, Shawn has Irish and German heritage, though he also has some Danish influence on his mother’s side. Shawn studied Spanish in college, and has a decent grasp on the language.
Spouse, Children, Pets: Shawn has never been married and has no children, though he is an eligible bachelor in Washington and has an active dating life. His primary residence is the Seidel home in Northern Virginia, spending most of his time there and in DC instead of back in Texas. It is there that he keeps a rather eccentric animal as his pet: a domesticated de-scented Skunk, 3 years of age, named Stripe, an animal with dubious legal status in the State of Virginia.
