Certainly the loop will end eventually. But soon? Without a radical shift in public consciousness, I don't think so. This isn't going to stop any time soon unless and until people truly realize that we have to make it stop, and commit to doing that.

Type "Florida covid cases" into Google and have a look at the chart. Mask mandates have been gone for a very long time and Florida's infection numbers have remained on the floor for the past 3 months.
