University of Nicksia Golden Knights

Manager: Clay Vasquez, 43
An alumnus of the team who starred as a point guard for four seasons, he tore ACLs in both knees in various training camps before ever playing a single game in Sarzonia's professional league. He took to coaching as a way to keep in the game after a failed audition as a colour analyst. He is in his first season as manager after serving as the top assistant for the defending champion Golden Knights.
Associate Manager: Mark Herzog, 58
The veteran Herzog was considering retirement when he wasn't offered the managerial role, but his close relationship with Vassquez and the opportunity to serve as the lead assistant made returning an easy decision for the veteran assistant.
Assistant Managers: Wade Embry, 41; Niall Collins, 47

Starting lineup:
1 PG Marcellus Luther (6-foot-3, 195 pounds; sophomore)
Great speed and quickness; great defensively and a terrific passer; he's a good shooter from 15 feet in, but struggles from outside. He hit only 21 percent from 3-point range last season.
12 SG Royce Brantley (6-foot-5, 215 pounds; freshman)
Under previous leadership, Brantley wouldn't see the court except in mop-up duty, but the coaching staff is very high on Brantley at the 2. He has long arms and is tenacious. He's great at finding openings in a variety of defences. He isn't known as a great defensive player, but that tenacity may very well help him get better.
14 G Bob Clay (6-foot-7, 220 pounds; junior)
Clay doesn't have the bulk Vasquez would want to play in the front court, but he positions himself well for rebounds and can play defence against even bigger forwards. He can use his size against other guards and his quickness against forwards.
21 F Jayce Aston (6-8, 235 pounds; sophomore)
Aston has the ball skills of a smaller guard along with the shooting ability of one. He's been working on bulking up to play inside and bang with power forwards and centres. If the Golden Knights go with a bigger lineup, he can shift to small forward.
33 F Alvin Cantor (6-foot-9, 255 pounds; freshman)
Cantor has the size and the bulk needed to play centre, but doesn't have the height Vasquez wants for the position. Cantor is better as a defensive player and rebounder than he is as a scorer.

BENCH
10 PG Dayna Love (5-foot-11, 175 pounds; junior)
She can play key minutes spelling Luther and sometimes plays with him if Vasquez wants to employ a small lineup.
11 SG Joe Myers (6-foot-6, 230 pounds; freshman)
Myers can get in and play forward, but is a bit short for the role as Vasquez sees it. However, he can play forward if Vasquez uses a four-guard lineup with Love and Luther on the court.
15 G Donnie Lynch (6-foot-5, 220 pounds; junior)
Lynch would likely be higher in the rotation if he hadn't missed half the previous season with the SARS 2 novel Coronavirus. He has recovered and he is earning his way back into the regular rotation.
20 SF Micah Plumley (6-foot-9, 240 pounds; junior)
Plumley has enough size to play power forward, but his shooting touch and his ability to handle the basketball are what keep him from being included among the bangers. He has sometimes played centre in a four-guard lineup.
24 PF/C Rhett Solomon (6-foot-10, 250 pounds; senior)
Solomon is a banger and is tough as a rebounder and as a defensive player. He's a reliable shooter in the paint and up to 10 feet from the basket. He's only attempted one 3-pointer (but he made it).
C 34 Ned O'Doyle (7-foot, 265 pounds; sophomore)
O'Doyle missed half the season because he sought a medical exemption from the SARS 2 novel Coronavirus vaccine requirement. Sarzonian legislation prohibited the use of a religious exemption from the vaccine. He didn't get the vaccine until he lost his case in court. The missed time cost him a possible chance to enter the starting lineup because he's played catch-up ever since.

Alexandroupolis Redbirds
Full school name: University of Alexandroupolis
Short school name: U of A
Nickname: Redbirds
Home Court: Lord’s Chicken Arena (cap. 12,000)
Affiliation: Public-municipal

Though the football team has made more headlines as the first Gesemite university to compete in multiversal competition, U of A is a basketball school first, last, and always. The Redbirds are the only true “blue blood” school in GCAA basketball, though how they fare against multiversal competition is anyone’s guess. On the court, look for tight execution and composure early on, which may be followed up with more physical play as the night wears on. This isn’t a team to back down from anyone.

Starting 5:
#0-PG-Deshawn Pate-SR-72”
Major: Sociology Best stat: Turnover %
A former walk-on, Pate has earned his place on this team through persistence and consistency. Not the flashiest dribbler or shooter, but distributes, plays hard D, and rarely makes mistakes.

#11-SG-Rob Weaver-SO-75”
Major: Rushmori studies Best stat: Three-point %
Sort of an antithesis to Pate, Weaver is known for hitting big threes and crashing boards.

#40-SF-Herb Carter-JR-76”
Major: Math education Best stat: Blocks or rebounds
Hard-nosed, not afraid to drive the lane. Most likely to foul out.

#14-PF-Richie Morin-JR-77”
Major: Art history Best stat: Points or freethrow %
The team’s top scorer, an efficient corner man who plays well on the block.

#21-C-Jamie Warner-SO-83”
Major: Film studies Best stat: Rebounds
Run-of-the-mill tall young center, hasn’t yet grown into his body, but too tall to ignore.

Subs:
C Corey Aguirre FR 84
F August Saunders FR 80
F Harris Turner SO 79
G Irvin Marshall JR 74*
G Virgil McDonald SO 73

*sixth man/1st sub

Thebes Tigers
Full school name: University of Thebes
Short school name: Thebes
Nickname: Tigers
Homecourt: Canaan Freight Arena (cap 18,000)
Affiliation: Private/Gesemite Church of Christ

A blue-collar team for a blue-collar city, the Tigers have made their name in domestic competition through the chemistry of Dejesus, Nolan, and Moran. That trio historically has been enough to win the South Conference every year, but not to compete with the likes of Alexandroupolis. Now with #1 overall recruit Anton Curtis in the mix, the Tigers will look to go international with their success and grind out one good season before the Three Musketeers graduate.

Starting 5:
#55-PG-Harris Dejesus-SR-74”
Major: Geography/Best stat: Steals
A fourth-year starter alongside his best friends and roommates Nolan and Moran, Dejesus will look to continue the partnership that has made the Tigers successful.

#4-SG-Karl Nolan-SR-75”
Major: Business/Best stat: Field goal %
One-third of the triad that has made the Tigers a force to be reckoned with for four years, Nolan is the team’s leading scorer, but doesn’t contribute much on D.

#1-F-Jonathan Moran-SR-77”
Major:Rushmori studies/Best stat: Rebounds
Best friend and roommate to both Nolan and Dejesus, a careful, consistent big man who is never afraid to go to the hole.

#3-F-Anton Curtis-FR-77”

Major: Physical education/Best stat: Points
A blue-chip recruit as a high school senior, Curtis spurned U of A and several others to go to school in his hometown. Shows refinement and discipline beyond his years.

#31-C-Wyatt Shannon-SO-82”
Major: Botany/Best stat: Rebounds
A walk-on last year, Shannon improved dramatically by the end of the season and will look to continue this year. Works hard on defense, but needs to refine his post work.

Subs:

G Mervin Cervantes SO 74
F Hong Brooks JR 77*
C Cliff McCormick JR 82
F Stefan Wheeler FR 78
G Jaime Poole SR 76

*sixth man/1st sub

Constantinople Binturongs
Full school name: University of Constantinople
Short school name: ‘nople
Nickname: Binturongs (‘rongs)
Homecourt: Five-Thirds Arena (cap 12,000)
Affiliation: Municipal

Headlines in the spring of 2012 wrote themselves as a massive cheating scandal broke surrounding the football, basketball, and curling teams at the venerable University of Constantinople. As a result, the institution was given a choice; expel the entire basketball and football teams (the entire curling team had already been expelled for prior infractions) or face a “death penalty.” The regents at ‘nople chose option A, and the rebuild of the ‘rongs team began in earnest. None of the ten players on this roster played college basketball for ‘nople last year; through a mix of graduate transfers, juco transfers, and walk-ons, they were able to cobble a team together, but we’ll see how well they play.

Starting 5:

#0-G-Lester Dickerson-SO-74”
Major: History & Atlantian Oceanian studies/Best stat: Steals
A walk-on, Dickerson’s defense is hard to fault and he certainly has hustle, but his offensive contributions are almost nothing.

#31-G-Carmen Reyes-FR-72”
Major: Undeclared/Best stat: Free throw %
A freshman walk-on, Reyes dribbles well and distributes, but his shooting is subpar, except from the free throw line, where he rarely misses.

#22-G-Rudolph Hunt-JR-72”
Major: Social studies education/Best stat: 3-point %
Having failed to walk on his first two years at ‘nople, Hunt was finally accepted after the AD had no other choice.

#44-F-Edgar Richardson-SR-79”
Major: Divinity (grad student)/Best stat: Blocks
A three-year reserve player for the Alexandria City Neptunes, Richardson graduated at the end of his junior year and transferred to ‘nople to start his Master’s in Divinity before being recruited to the basketball team.

#15-F-Dustin Barnett-SO-77”
Major: Political science/Best stat: Field goal %
A former juco standout, Barnett is one of the most polished players on this team and will be viewed as a leader.

Subs:
F Dennis Griffith FR 77
F Reynaldo Barker FR 76*
G Ismael Nixon JR 74
G Stan Peters JR 75
G Sydney Gibson SO 72

*6th man/1st sub

Alexandria Angels
Full school name: University of Alexandria
Short school name: Alex U
Nickname: Angels
Homecourt: Angels Arena (cap 8,000)
Affiliation: Municipal

Despite a rich history and a devoted fanbase, Alex U has never had the resources of the bigger eastern schools to rise above being the big fish in the small pond of the Metro conference. Most of its recruits are from local Alexandria schools, which lack the fraternal and community support of their eastern peers, and the results are endemic. With that said, the Angels have a decent chance at being a sleeper in NSCAA play this year, and are a team that should be watched.

Starting 5:
#0-PG-Francis Randolph-SO-75”
Major: Esportivan studies/Best stat: turnover %
A fast, skilled ball handler whose shooting and distribution leave a lot to be desired. Selfish, mistake-prone, but good once he gets in a rhythm.

#4-SG-Rex Mejia-SO-75”
Major: Kinesiology/Best stat: 3-point %
Shoots a lot of threes, doesn’t make as many as he should. Could use some work on fundamentals, but a basically decent two-guard.

#11-SF-Lyle Hodges-SR-78”
Major: Literature/Best stat: Rebounds
The anchor of a young team. Strong off-ball movement, post moves, hustles on defense. Not a showy player, but someone who could find a place on almost any team.

#12-PF-Marlon Grimes-FR-78”
Major: Undeclared/Best stat: Points
Athletic, hugely powerful, but raw. Could probably stand to redshirt or ride the pine for a season to sort some things out, but his athleticism and size were immediate needs.

#33-C-Brent Barton-FR-82”
Major: Undeclared/Best stat: Rebounds
More of a power forward than a center, makes big moves and can play the perimeter if needed. Mature for a freshman, but could use some refinement in the paint.

Subs:
C Brant Bright JR 80
F Owen Hudson FR 76
G Steve Welch JR 73*
G Levi Davidson SO 74
G Alvin Waters JR 72

*6th man/1st sub

Excalibur Swordsmen
Full school name: Excalibur University
Short name: Excalibur
Nickname: Swordsmen
Homecourt: Avalon Arena (cap 11,000)
Affiliation: Private/Jesuit

Archrivals of the ‘rongs from “south of the river”, the Swordsmen have stepped up since their rival’s “death penalty” to claim the throne of basketball in the greater Constantinople area. A defense-first squad, the Swordsmen will play ten deep and run the floor, seeking to score on fast breaks and wear their opponents down.

Starting 5:
#41-PG-Cristopher Kelley-SR-73”
Major: English education/Best stat: Steals
Team MVP last year, a defensive-minded guard who makes most of his money in transition.

#14-G/F-Zachery Lyons-SO-77”
Major: English literature/Best stat: Three point %
Still a guard at heart, though hit his growth spurt late and so has added some height since high school. Plays the perimeter well, but unreliable inside.

#53-G/F-Sylvester Barker-SO-77”
Major: Mathematics/Best stat: Blocks
Not the most refined or gifted player, but has tons of hustle and plays ruthlessly on D. Most likely to foul out.

#30-F-Winfred Floyd-SR-78”
Major: Automotive engineering/Best stat: Points
Probably the only offensive-minded player out of the starting five. Posts up well and scores points as long as he gets the ball.

#0-C-Preston Greene-SO-81”
Major: Undeclared/Best stat: Blocks
On the small end for a Gesemite center, though still very tall. Plays tough defense, rebounds well on offense.

Subs:
C/F Troy Cantrell JR 81*
G Morris Emerson FR 74
G Normand Leonard SO 75
G Julian Rose FR 75
F Ariel Tillman SR 77
Population: ~10 million
Capital: Alexandria

Richardson University Governors

Quick Facts

Richardson is one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in the country. Located in the nation's capitol, they're known as a gridiron football school and are historically the nation's most dominant program on that front, but they generally field a respectable squad in basketball as well.

Arena: The Igloo - 14,000

Bundle up if you're going to this one! Cold Hill is in the northern reaches of an already cold country in Ranoria, but that's why they're traditionally a basketball school! While gridiron has recently taken over as the school's primary sport, the basketball team is their oldest program, so you should be in for some exciting games!

Ranoria State University Wolfhounds
Quick Facts
Nickname: Wolfhounds
Colors: Black and Blue
Head Coach: Randal Harrington
Arena: Heron's Dome - 24,500

Located in the largest city in the country, Ranoria State is a huge school with powerhouse sports programs. They've won two of the last seven national championships in basketball and look to be one of the prime contenders among Ranorian programs to actually do something in this competition, and they'll be fielding a guy with potential to be an incredible pro in Astor François. A competition of this level will go a long way towards clarifying whether or not that mantle is his to bear.

Quick Facts
School Name: Vricksinburg State University
Nickname: Pheasants
Colors: Brown and orange
Head Coach: Tobias Wilkow
Arena: Vricksinburg State Arena - 13,022

One of the older universities in the nation, Vricksinburg is known as a gridiron school and holds its students to strict academic curriculum. If they actually manage to do anything significant, we will be nothing less than shocked, but they have entered and will likely conduct themselves in a professional manner. Expect a well coached team with heavy scheming to get shooters open.

University of Dietrich Snow Bears

Quick Facts
Nickname: Snow Bears
Colors: Sky Blue and White
Head Coach: Tucker Levin
Arena: Heritage Arena - 6,301

As is a trend with this group, they're a gridiron football school first and foremost. The University of Dietrich is traditionally a conservative school with academic rigors, but in recent decades fraternities, sororities, and the sports teams have been breaking that mold. So if you happen to encounter a hungover player or two, don't be surprised.

Matthensville Polytechnic Institute

Quick Facts
Nickname: Cryptokleptics
Colors: Orange
Head Coach: Bochniak Ether
Arena: Moonshill Court - 9,400

The cryptokleptics are an interesting lot. After a crypto craze took over the school some 34 years ago, students as a whole have identified themselves with it. In fact, it's part of the school's recruiting now. Those with an entrepreneur's spirit are welcome - the school's investing communities and courses mean that most students are able to pay off their loans before graduating. In fact, an alumni of MPI was part of the team that developed Ranoria's now wholly adopted digital currency system.

Oh, you wanted to know about basketball? Yeah, it's a joke to them. They don't care all that much about it.

University of Rouyoutte Lions

Quick Facts
Nickname: Lions
Colors: Purple/Blue
Head Coach: Richard Henry
Arena: Rouyoutte Arena, 10,500

Rouyoutte is one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in the country. Located in one of Ranoria's larger cities, they're known as a stringent academic school and are historically the nation's most sought after large university for this purpose. They do still manage to field strong and respectable sporting teams in a variety of arenas, although championship aspirations and top recruits are limited due to rigorous expectations off the field.

Notes
- All players are both Banijan and male unless otherwise specified
- By the Banijan calendar, the NSCAA occurs every 3rd year. In seasons that schools compete in the NSCAA, they do not compete in domestic basketball. In NSCAA years, domestic basketball continues, just without the NSCAA schools. So the last 10 years has looked like this. So Year 11 records shown are 2 seasons before NSCAA 13, and Year 12 is record in season prior to NSCAA 13.
Year 1: NSCAA 9
Year 2: Everyone competes domestically
Year 3: Everyone competes domestically
Year 4: NSCAA 10
Year 5: Everyone competes domestically
Year 6: Everyone competes domestically
Year 7: NSCAA 11
Year 8: Everyone competes domestically
Year 9: Everyone competes domestically
Year 10: NSCAA 12
Year 11: Everyone competes domestically
Year 12: Everyone competes domestically
Year 13: NSCAA 13
- BCSG stands for Banijan Collegiate Sports Group. It is the Banijan equivalent of Division I of the NCAA. There are 65 member institutions of this group.
- Banijan domestic regular season has 28 games, consisting of 8-12 non-conference games and 16-20 conference games, depending on the conference. 16 out of 59 total teams make the tournament, seeded 1-16. The 9 conference champions(there are no conference tournaments),and 7 at-large sides as picked by a selection committee. The first 2 rounds are Best of 3, all occurring at the home court of the higher seed. 3rd round is Best of 5(2-2-1 format), and Championship series is Best of 7(2-2-1-1-1 format).
- The BCSG's automatic qualifiers are anyone who made the national semifinals in Year 11 or 12. That made for 6 automatic qualifiers- Northern Moravica, Loyola-Jinja, University of Moravica, Bunyoro A&M, Banijan Star and Crescent University, and the University of Aksum. The BCSG took a vote on the last two schools, and after fierce politicking, Mamari University, as well as Loyola-Istria, were chosen to be the last two Banijan schools in NSCAA 8.
- Banijan players are quite proud players. Therefore, they will talk trash, they will show off, and they will show boat. They will talk trash to the fans and about each other. They'll try to look fancy and go for the highlight reel play, even at the expense sometimes of the safe play- sometimes it works out, sometimes it does not.
- There is no regular season camaraderie among these fanbases, as Banijan fans emphasize their rivalries with one another. There's generally camaraderie once the postseason rolls around, as Banijans will root for Banijan schools, and then other NSCF schools, in the Ultra 64. However, despite that, the two most hated schools in the country will be Richardson University, and then Cold Hill University.

Obasie Khoza is seen as potentially the best player, for any team, in all of Banija. So what's with their lack of success over the last two years? Well, he had some injury trouble. A torn ACL in the last game of the season in Year 11 meant they went neutered into the Banijan tournament, and they paid for it, getting rocked in the first round. He missed all of Year 12, and accordingly, they missed the tournament. But Khoza is back and healthy, and with a new coach, is looking to show the world exactly why he has been so hyped for so long.

DROP IT DOWN!: Let's Focus On The Future, Eh?

Postby TJUN-ia » Wed Mar 16, 2022 12:25 pm

Yeah...you forgot about this, didn't you? Last season, we made our debut in the NSCAA Basketball Tournament with 8 Schools, each representing a region of TJUN-ia that wasn't involved in the NSCF (so not the NAU or the AU). Now, we are back...and now we certainly realise why we needed this competition. The Hoops-Jags almost won it all...but all of the starters were around or above the age of 30. As such, building the next generations that could take the IBC crown one day has become a matter of utmost importance to the BFT. Thankfully for them, the TCUAA has this ace up its sleeve and we certainly have some great players down here...with little turnover due to the wacky nature of this competition's occurrence and time stuff that we don't need to talk about. Last time, these 8 schools had differing fates - 3 made the Ultra 64, 5 settled for the DCIT and poor UC failed to make the postseason at all. Now, the conferences have shifted but these teams still have that fight to try and make the Big Dance.

DRAWKLAND'S EXTREME EIGHT

    NSCAA 13 Participants:
  1. Sadeg State University Skyhawks
  2. Elmanden District University Mechanors
  3. Old Mountain University Northerners
  4. Cavsar University Gladiators
  5. Drawk Corps University
  6. Cemmendy Tech Cyberpunks
  7. Ducentu State University Eagles
  8. University of Raikennax Red Knights

Quick notes: In Drawkland, college usually lasts from age 20 to 25, and they're 5-year institutions (Nv, Fr, So, Jr, Sn). Basketball fields mixed-gender teams. Most athletes retire between 40-50, and most people don't retire until they're around 100. We're really tall. That's normal for our species. Bench players marked with * are typically the 6th man. IC'ly the NSCAA is held every 3 or 4 years.

Sadeg is one of Drawkland's most historic cities, and its namesake university is no exception. It is debatably one of the oldest constantly-running institutions of learning in all of Sonnel, depending on how you count the diversion between the University and the Spartan Academy. It has always been one to start off strong with winning sports when they first become popular, and basketball was perhaps the most prominent example of this. They've been a contending force since the inception of the collegiate league.

Without a doubt, Sadeg State University was the most dominant team in NSCAA 7. In the Gravity Conference, they attained a perfect record, swept the conference championship, and went on to be seeded #1 in all of the Ultra 64. They were on a hot streak, throwing down left and right, an unstoppable force. 31 consecutive wins, and they seemed like nobody could match them. Unless you were the University of Cenial. In the final game, the one that mattered most, Sadeg State lost 59-67 in the most disappointing loss of the entire NSCAA.

In NSCAA 8 the Skyhawks dropped to the 12th seed out of 64 in the final bracket. With something to prove from their disappointing drop of the title to Cenial, the Skyhawks easily advanced past the first round, only to crumble on a last-second flagrant foul which put their opponent Maris Technical up by a huge margin to end the Skyhawk's disappointing revenge run. Luckily, they were still avenged in the end ...

NSCAA 9 was also not kind to the Skyhawks. Making it to 10th in the seeding for the Ultra 64, Sadeg State was looking to prove that NSCAA 7 wasn't just a fluke. Unfortunately for them, their second round opponent were New Lakeland University, the eventual champions of NSCAA 9.

After several seasons of disappointing results for the Skyhawks, NSCAA 10 was crucial to prove that the NSCAA 7 wasn't just a fluke, and that Sadeg State was still a true power in the NSCAA. This started off well, with Sadeg State taking control of the Sky Blue Conference and winning the conference championship. Ranked #5, they came into the Ultra 64 with a chip on their shoulder and a bracket where they could dominate. And dominate they did, all the way to the Final Four for the second time, and into the final for the second time. They may not have been undefeated at this point, but they were finally back to the promised land. At the time, only one school had ever been to the NSCAA final twice, that being Loudon Empire University from Newmanistan. They lost both those matchups. Sadeg State couldn't afford to fail again. So this time, they didn't. A five-point win over Banija's University of Moravica was enough to finally crown the Skyhawks champions, the second Drawkian team to do so.

NSCAA 12 was a return to the form everybody expected from the Skyhawks after their NSCAA 10 victory. In a decently tough Five Star Conference, Sadeg State cruised to a regular season and tournament conference championship, garnering the #3 seed in the ensuing Ultra 64. It was their highest seed since NSCAA 7, but the result was much worse. In a historic first-round upset rivaling the failures of Cemmendy Tech, the Skyhawks were blasted by almost 30 points at the hand of bubble team Richmond Racing School, and sent home much earlier than anybody anticipated.

For NSCAA 13, though, the Skyhawks are determined to not let such an upset define their team going forward.

Elmanden is a city in southeastern Kanyoet, close to Ducentu and only a few miles away from Cemmendy. Elmanden District University is a school devoted to mainly the study of Information Technology and various types of Engineering, their programs are in the highest tiers of the nation's. Another part of the technological triumvirate in Drawkland's mideast, Elmanden is a destination for many on the physical side of computers and other such instruments.

In Drawkland, Elmanden has quickly risen to be a sort of mini-dynasty, winning the domestic tournament twice in recent memory. Momentum is definitely on their side.

In NSCAA 7, Elmanden were ranked 5th overall in the bracket. Unfortunately, they lost 65-101 to the Instituto Universitario Politicnico de Carabobo, the 60th seed (who were walloped by our own Metropolon next round). The loss was absolutely humiliating and many pointed fingers at bad officiating, but it was too late. After such an embarrassment, Elmanden was determined to return with fire.

And that they did. In NSCAA 8, they grabbed the 2nd seed overall in the tournament, and got poetic justice by defeating their first-round opponent 100-65. They easily cruised through the tournament, and defeated Keisler College from Newmanistan in the Final Four to ensure an all-Drawkian NSCAA championship game. Against Old Mountain University, a sort of cinderella story (as far as Drawkians are concerned), Elmanden flexed their might once more and defeated the Mountaineers 95-76 to claim the NSCAA 8 title.

Unfortunately, the magic wouldn't stay on Elmanden's side in NSCAA 9. While they remained a powerful school, ranked 6th going into the tournament, they too would fall in the second round. Raynor University out of Valanora, the unlikely 38th seed, proved to be the giant killers (who would then be easily vanquished next round).

In NSCAA 10, Elmanden would dominate the Woodland Conference and go on to capture the #3 seed in the Ultra 64. On top of that, they proved that NSCAA 8 wasn't just a fluke by gaining their second Final Four berth. A chance to not only make the final again, but to possibly have an all-Drawkian championship. This wouldn't be on the cards though, and the University of Moravica would move on to the final. Thankfully Sadeg State won the game and took the spotlight off Elmanden's failure on a national level, but the Mechanor Faithful are still left wondering what could've been.

NSCAA 12 was a step back in the conference department, losing the Sky Blue conference title and championship to Brat Tech after splitting their regular season series and falling to them in the conference tournament final. Despite being a historically low 21st seed in the Ultra 64, Elmanden proved that they're still a force to be reckoned with. They were one of the three schools to survive the Drawkian slaughter in the first round, and made it to the Elite 8 before the luck ran out, going against a surging Everlin University from Valanora.

Now officially changing their name from College to University, Elmanden's fans have more hope than ever going into this edition.

Old Mountain University is, well, an old university near a mountain. It's situated in the north of Drawk City (hence the Northerners nickname), technically in a suburb outside of the city but still claiming to be apart of the greater area (which is is). It's like that one college that everyone knows but forgets about. They have a wide assortment of degrees, but considering its size, location, and atmosphere, it's often described as "the community college that's not." It's a commuter university which is chill and renowned for its low rates, and not really hated by anyone.

Old Mountain didn't qualify for NSCAA 7, seeing as they're more of a laid-back program that doesn't really get much attention or success. After a wild upset qualification into NSCAA 8, they made the most of it, miraculously grabbing the 4th seed spot from the bracket and unloading points upon points on their opposition. Throughout the Ultra 64, they never allowed more than 70 points, and won by double-digit margins until the Final Four where they only beat Corinth City by 8 points. In their unprecedented run to the final, however, the magic ran out at the very end. They may have lost by 19 points to Elmanden in the most important game of their history, but they captured all of our hearts in the process.

As far as Drawkian schools in NSCAA 9 went, they went pretty well. A first round victory after grabbing the #15 rank was easy, a 9-point win. Unfortunately due to the bracket, they had to knock out Corinth City University the very next round, and in the Sweet Sixteen they fell by 10 to the 31st-ranked University of Tundra Falls. If you'd believe it, that was one of the better performances by a Drawkian school that cycle.

NSCAA 10 featured Old Mountain in the Five Star Conference, where they were bested at nearly every turn by Newmanistan's University of Tundra Falls but nobody else, both in the conference standings and the conference championship game. The "subpar" performance led to them only getting a 17th seed. They had one of the shoddier Ultra 64 performances, losing by one point on a buzzer-beater by Belle Haven State in the second round. Ducentu State may have avenged them in the next round, but they were still heading home earlier than they hoped.

For the first half of the Royal Conference season in NSCAA 12, Old Mountain looked like one of the best schools in the entire league. Their form broke down in the latter half and Turbani Tech capitalized to win the conference title, but OMU stuck around to beat the Vanorians in the tournament final. Ranked #18 going into the Ultra 64, Old Mountain had decent expectations, but they ended up being a footnote as part of the destruction of over half the Drawkian schools losing in the first round.

Since their shock introduction in NSCAA 8, Old Mountain is no longer a pushover or a cinderella school. They've carved out an interesting legacy so far, and maybe they'll finally win a title to prove their worth for good.

Cavsar University is a school in the northwest of the Iarocavet territory. Cavsar isn't a huge city, it could be considered more of a college town near the coast, and thus Cavsar doesn't get much attention. In gridiron, the university is a formidable foe, but the basketball team has always been lacking until recently. In the times of old, Cavsar featured many combat sports between skilled athletes, hence why their nickname are the Gladiators.

Cavsar struggled with irrelevance in basketball until very recently, when coach Les Benson came and changed the program around for the better. Now the Gladiators aren't just another team to wish they could make the big dance, but instead are contenders for the title year after year. They, and DISC, hope this talent can transfer to the NSCAA.

Despite being a new addition to the Drawkland slate of NSCAA schools in NSCAA 10, Cavsar got to work proving their worth. They won the Pink 15 conference handily and got the #11 seed in the tournament. With the way the bracket was set up, they'd potentially have to deal with the first Drawkian-on-Drawkian matchup in the Sweet 16 (against Cemmendy Tech) if they made it that far. Cavsar held up their end of the bargain, but unfortunately Cemmendy lost to Concord Heights ... who in turn, defeated Cavsar as well on their way to finally being beaten by a Drawkian school in the Elite Eight.

NSCAA 12 would be the big breakthrough for Cavsar, not just in basketball, but for the university's entire image. The Orange 16 Conference was the most stacked in the league, with seven whole schools making the Ultra 64. Cavsar managed to come away with the regular season title, though it wasn't easy. They almost won the conference tournament, and got a favorable matchup against the #7 conference seed Starksville Medical Institute. They lost, allowing the lowest conference seed to be a tournament champion. This raised a lot of questions about their viability in the Ultra 64 ... but they proved everybody wrong by making it to the final against Hondo. Then they got spanked and lost the championship despite being one win away!

In short, Cavsar sucks and everybody hates them. Sure they could try to come back and win a title for redemption later, like their NSCF peers in Sadeg State, but they won't because they're straight up garbage! BOOOOOOO #CAVSUX

Drawk Corps U is a university in Drawkland, the main campus of which is located in Drawk City, Drawkland's largest metropolitan area of several million people. It's owned and operated by the Drawk Corps, which is the main corps registered in the National Corps System of Drawkland. All of its students are members of the Drawk Corps. Since the Drawk Corps is a national organization, there are many supporters of the university nationwide, and some enrolled online or on other, smaller, campuses.

Drawk Corps also owns a club in the DBO of the same name, and the university team is mainly considered a "feeder" for it. However, both teams are very good, considered the best in the nation by many, within their respective leagues. Out of the many centuries of Drawkian university basketball play, the Drawk Corps University basketball team has currently racked up 107 national titles over its history.

In NSCAA 7, despite winning the Eternal Conference in the Regular Season and Conference Tournament, they inexplicably failed to overcome the University of Myana from Chromatika, a 72-93 loss in the first round of the tournament. It was a disappointed end to the season, but at least Myana were avenged when Metropolon City College took them out in the Sweet 16.

NSCAA 8 didn't feature much more success for the Corps. Being the worst-ranked Drawkian school (a lowly 16th out of 64), they still made a run for the Sweet 16. While pretty much all pundits expected them to be facing the #1 seed of the Endemian College at Whitehaven from Ceni, they were upset and instead the Sweet 16 matchup pitted DCU against Chromatik City College University, ranked 32nd. And then they lost by 11 points.

Once again, NSCAA 9 was expected to be a bust for the Drawk Corps U. And that it was, in a way. Despite having their best rank ever of 9th going into the tournament, they still could barely squeak into the Elite Eight, their best finish. There they got obliterated by the eventual runners-up, Farrer University, by 20 points. Even worse, this was the best finish of any Drawkian school in NSCAA 9.

Drawk Corps U may have won the Royal Conference regular season in NSCAA 10, but they fell short in the conference championship to defending NSCAA champions in New Lakeland University. It was still enough to get #9 in the tournament, but once again DCU had an abysmal Ultra 64 run, being dispatched in the second round to Concord Heights Beauty School. To be fair, CHBS made it to the Final Four and came close to beating Sadeg State, but that doesn't stop us from relentlessly clowning Drawk Corps fans.

Once against, DCU underperformed in NSCAA 12. They came in second in a tough Pink 15 Conference, and fell out in the semifinals of the conference tournament. They were the only Drawkian school that got into the tournament as an At-Large school. They did nab a #13 seed, but that didn't matter when they lost on a last-second heartbreaker to Mount Ester University in the first round!

At this point, Drawk Corps University has gone from being the team to fear inside Drawkland's borders to nearly a laughing stock everywhere else. Many Drawkian neutrals will laugh at the normally egotistical DCU fans being served a taste of their own medicine, but maybe that's what DCU needs to finally get over the hump.

Cemmendy Tech is a university devoted to the technological. Its students are some of the most well-versed in the computer realm as some of those who've created the machines in the first place. The mascot is the "Cyberpunks," one that was chosen by the students after the advent of advanced technology and the term for users of it arose.

For NSCAA 7, Cemmendy easily won their conference, a fantastic record and a great tournament showing granting them the 3rd seed out of all the Ultra 64. That, however, inexplicably did no good as they lost 84-85 in a heartbreaker to the unknown Shibusen School of Aji No Moto, who was unceremoniously dumped by a 19-point margin to a Vannish school.

After such a disappointing result the previous cycle, they were out for blood in NSCAA 8. They were ranked a lower 7th in the tournament, but still had a great draw that they could go far with. But instead, they got smacked by Turbani Tech of Valanora, who dumped them out of the first round with a 70-81 scoreline.

So you think ... surely they can't get upset in the bracket 3 NSCAAs in a row?! Of course they didn't! In NSCAA 9 they were actually the lower seed, at #39, so when they lost to the Cenian Academy of Science and Technology in the first round, it wasn't technically an upset! Haha ... ha. It'd be funnier if Drawkland as a whole wasn't destroyed in NSCAA 9.

With all these losses, you'd expect Cemmendy Tech to make a change. At least with NSCAA 10, they rebounded from their shoddy conference stage in NSCAA 9, instead winning the Newlands Conference both in the regular season and the conference tournament. They even netted the #6 seed for the Ultra 64. You've heard this story before. Cemmendy were massively favored, facing a nobody in Nostsian University ... and they won. What?! Finally, the glass ceiling is broken! Cemmendy are going to make a run this year guys! This is it! This is it! Now they- oh shit, they lost in the next round to the University of Concord Heights. LOL. Cyberpunks gonna Cyberpunk.

NSCAA 12 was the same soup, just reheated. Miraculous start in the Calania Conference, easily topping the conference table and winning the tournament with little issue. They were also one of the last schools to take a loss in the regular season. The Cyberpunks garnered a respectable #6 seed in the Ultra 64 ... and then they went and lost in the first round to Universidad de Hispinas. It would be funny if the consistent failure wasn't so sad. Actually, never mind. It's still hilarious.

In NSCAA 13 ... sure they'll make the bracket. They'll probably even net a high seed out of it. Try to convince your non-sport-informed friends at the office to put Cemmendy Tech as a deep run so you're guaranteed to beat them.

Ducentu State University is the prestigious university out of Ducentu, the city wedged at the border of 3 territories - Malicollet, Kanyoet, and Ellzidanet. Like Elmanden and Cemmedy, it's a big member of the modern computing industry, the three cities form a sort of triumvirate as far as the IT business goes. Data science is the big major coming out of the college, but of course all types and manners of engineering are mainly studied here. For some reason, Law is also a common pursuance.

After missing NSCAA 7, Ducentu came to NSCAA 8 with the intention of making a big splash, and that they did. After easily cruising to the Sweet Sixteen, Ducentu were pitted against the ultimate evil known as the University of Cenial, the NSCAA 7 champions who brutally and horribly defeated the previously-undefeated Sadeg State in the final. Ducentu, while not being present in the tournament leading up to that loss, knew how important it was to slay the beast before it grew any bigger. A 78-94 win that absolutely flattened UCenial arose, and Ducentu were the Drawkian heroes for awhile longer. Then in the Elite Eight they came face to face with Elmanden District College, and you know how that turned out.

Being ranked #21 wasn't exactly Ducentu's intended way of recreating the success of NSCAA 8. However, their huge win over the University of Concord Heights was a good way to start. Unfortunately, they couldn't avoid the 9-point loss to eventual Final Four team Southport University in the second round, ending their NSCAA 9 run a little earlier than anyone hoped.

NSCAA 10 would be Ducentu State's breakout cycle. They went 27-1 in the Eternal Conference and won the conference tournament, the single loss easily being enough to net them the #1 seed for the Ultra 64. The title ambitions were unexpected, but the Eagles planned to capitalize on them as soon as possible. Things went smoothly, of course, until they reached Concord Heights Beauty School in the Elite Eight. It was only a matter of time until the dream came crashing down, and despite a surprisingly good season overall, it was impossible to not feel a tinge of regret.

It would prove to be a hard act to follow. NSCAA 12 featured Ducentu State winning the Eternal Conference regular season relatively easy, but they'd lose in the conference tournament in the quarterfinals, much earlier than most other Drawkian schools. The weak conference and unfortunate conference tournament run would result in the Eagles getting the worst seed of any Drawkian team in the tournament, at #25. At least they weren't Corinth City University, who somehow didn't even make it in! They were one of the lucky three Drawkian schools to not get eliminated in the first round, but they just lost in the second round to the #8 South Caddonia University (by almost 40 points).

Can Ducentu State rebound from a less-than-exciting season and replicate the success of NSCAA 10? Only time will tell, but we know they have the guts to pull it off.

Raikennax was an ancient city known as a crossroads and melting pot in Drawkian culture, long before the nation itself was founded. The closest major city to Valsum, the volcano in the center of Drawkland, Raikennax has always been one of the bigger and more relevant cities not located in the north. Due to its notoriety, the University of Raikennax was established very early in Drawkian history. The sports programs weren't born as quickly, but once collegiate sports were starting to popularize, UofR hopped on the train and has been contending ever since.

Though they had a recent period of rebuilding, the Red Knights have returned to prominence on the hardwood and are looking to bring that domestic success to the NSCAA stage. With the formerly great Corinth City University being embarrassingly bad in NSCAA 12, the door opened for a school new to the NSCAA to have a chance. Raikennax managed to fit the bill, and hopefully they'll be able to "dominate" just like the other Drawkian schools in the conference stages and Ultra 64.

Kohnhead (KHD) Entries

School Name: Dawson Community College
Abbreviated: DCC
Colors: Purple and Blue
Nickname: Spiders
Style Mod: -4
Home Court: Dawson Community Center Courts (780)
Conference: Woodlands Conference
Overall Record: 27-7
Last Year: 2nd in Salamantica Conference
CT: Semifinals
NT: Ultra 64 - Round of 64

Dawson Community College is not a typical community college functioning just all normal colleges or universitites except for the fact that it is free and paid for by the local government. It isn't very large and academics are not the best but it is a four year college that is pretty normal besides the lack of tuition. The team itself is defensive minded and known to play bully ball get the ball to their bigs under the hoop, don't shoot threes, and get a lot of boards. Last season they dominated throughout the regular season and finished 25-5 in conference before a decent CT and an ill fated Ultra 64 performance. Returning the same starting V they project to be top of the line for Kohnhead once again.

School Name: Wangor State College
Abbreviated: WSC
Colors: Orange and White
Nickname: Dingos
Style Mod: +3.5
Home Court: Sodapark Arena (6,200)
Conference: Eternal Conference
Overall Record: 26-8
Last Year: 2nd in Orange 16 Conference
CT: Quarterfinals
NT: Ultra 64 - Sweet 16

Team Info: The second most offensive oriented team in Kohnhead after Castle College is Wangor State College with the Dingos being known as the best shooting team both from behind the arc and at the free throw line. Wangor however do not get many rebounds even at the defensive end which is a big part of their defensive struggles. Expect this team to be pretty difficult to stop especially if they got really hot from three but if they aren't shooting well which can happen they normally don't have a solution to this. Wangor went the furthest of all the Kohnheadian teams last season going all the way to the Sweet 16 in the Ultra 64.

School Name: Castle College
Abbreviated: CAC
Colors: Red and Black
Nickname: Knights
Style Mod: +4.5
Home Court: Ellie's PIzza Arena (7,800)
Conference: Salamantica Conference
Overall Record: 25-10
Last Year: 5th in Pink 15 Conference
NT: Ultra 64 - Second Round
CT: 2nd Place

Team Info: Castle College should have the best offense in Kohnhead with a modern offense notorious for its deep threes and isolation looks while also incorporating basic things like the pick and roll. This team clearly prioritizes those who play offense well more than its defense and style of play and the players reflect this with defense definitely coming behind offense in their mind. They also prioritize small ball offensively and don't really have a true center starting. If you can stop their offense you can stop Castle College pretty easily however that is a decently difficult ask. Castle College was one of two teams to make it past the first round of the Ultra 64 and narrowly lost in a two point heartbreaker against Farrer University.

Starting V
PG: Nelson Britton (Sophmore)

Home Court: Robert Cunningham Arena (12,500)
Conference: North Coast Conference
Overall Record: 26-9
Last Year: 3rd in Sealion Conference
CT: 2nd Place
NT: Ultra 64 - First Round

Team Info: Swisston City guards are notorious for being some of the best dribblers in all of Kohnhead although shooting wise, they lack the three point percentage you are often looking for. This team almost always plays zone on defense and the offense centers around lots of dribbling to find openings as opposed to Kohnhead City's approach. In addition they don't really have one primary point guard with both guards running the offense in the same way. Swisston went a cool 23-7 in conference play before a run to the conference finals where they lost by a single point to Rinaldi Naval Academy.

Home Court: Balandur (14,000)
Conference: Shining Sun Conference
Overall Record: 24-10
Last Year: 3rd in Sky Blue Conferece

Team Info: Kohnface City are overall an average team both in terms of talent and skill and in terms of the way they operate. They don't do anything too complex and are decent at both offense and defense especially underneat the basket. They don't go to the line much and don't send opponents to the line much defensively, again really average.

Team Info: What happens when you put 12 freshman on a team and decide to start a four year experiment to see how they all turn out? That's what Northern-Parga State started last season and hopefully for the next few seasons as they try to grow this group of freshman. After a woeful start they played better down the stretch and should be a bit better this season.

Overall Record: 22-11
Last Year: 4th in Eternal Conference

NT: Ultra 64 - First Round

Team Info: They might not be as good as the football team but KCU still has some talent on the basketball side of things. This is a team that likes hard defense no matter what, sticking to man of course, and runs a lot of press and is extremely good defensively forcing lots of turnovers. Offensively they are as old school as it gets with lots of passing, good spacing, not a lot of dribbling, and only occasional three point shooting. This team has a lot of grit and determination and will make any team work to get wins and points against us.

Team Info: Barnley are overall just the worst college team in Kohnhead. They had a very old, experience, and thought to be skilled lineup last year and they barely squeaked into the Ultra 64 and it's clear they need an infusion of youth. Despite this the starting lineup contains three seniors, and two juniors all of whom were on the team last season but two of whom played off the bench. But as we know the NSCAA is unpredictable and their coaching staff is very well respected.

OOC: First half of rosters are in. Expect second half to be in either in an hour or two.

UNIVERSITÉ DE ST-GABRIEL-RICHARD WOLVERINES

Location: La-Lumiere, South Detroit
Home Arena: Calania Motors Centre (Est. 1959, Cap: 10,400)

Head Coach: Jeremy Chun, 52 (5th Year with the program)
Style Modifier for guidance purpose:0. Coming from the neighbouring, Commonwealth state of South Detroit, the Wolverines have a highly-athletic corps of players who grew up dreaming to play for the Wolverines (or Huronia Spartans, lol). Coach Jeremy Chun's a man of relatively minor profile, having only played until high school junior year, but he's a very good tactician who knows how to instill good team defence and offence. With duo Wang and Foringer-Kimpembe, they do have a squad that's focused a bit more around front, but the guards do just about enough to make it work.

# Pos. Player Height Year Sex Roles (Note)
01 C Wang Ji-Hyeok 2.18m SR M All-arounded Centre (2054 OUA Men's Player of the Year, second-team all-Quebecois)

MOUNT ESTER UNIVERSITY LANCERS

Location: Bathurst, Acadie
Home Arena: Norman Williams Arena (Est. 1954, Cap: 10,800)

Head Coach: Jane Grenier, 65 (17th Year)
Style modifier: +3. High-tempo, high-powered offence with less focus on defence. Focus on athleticism a major note for past decade of Grenier's high-powering program that have not really lost their helm on top of Quebecois men's basketballing ranks. The player to watch on this team, of course, is point guard Henri Larochelle, who should be drafted in the first round of QBL draft in a year's time, heavily-controversial 2-guard Hong Gyeong-Man and useful centreman Jang Hyeong-Min.

# Pos. Player Height Year Sex Roles (Note)

16 F J.J. Equinox 2.10m GR M Graduate transfer from Hampden College with key substitute minutes
20 C Pierre Kweon-Dobbins 2.08m FR M Backup centre
27 SF Fabien Grossinger-Bonga 2.04m SO M Explosive, all-arounded ball handler (2054 QIS Men's Player of the Year)
34 C Jang Hyeong-Min 2.12m SR M Blue-collared centre who racks up assists, expected to have a long pro career (2054 AUS Second-team all-star)
45 PG Tomaso Piccininni 1.80m SO M Adequate backup guard to Larochelle

NORTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY MARAUDERS

Location: Attawapiskat, Northwest
Home Arena: Alumni Hall of the Northwestern Peoples (Est. 2036, Cap: 13,000)

Head Coach: Mateusz Idzikowski, 44 (4th Year with Northwestern men) - Kweon Yeong-Jin, 50 (9th Year with Northwestern women)
Style Modifier for guidance purpose:-3. Both men's and women's Northwestern basketball teams are known to centre themselves around slow, man-to-man defence (mostly because players are slow lol) and preferring tall players whose mobility may be needed, but can execute moves whenever they are being expected to do so.

# Pos. Player Height Year Sex Roles (Note)
01 G Jean-Ian Martelet 1.92m JR M Adequate backup guard
03 G Joh Tae-Hong 1.88m GR M Team captain: transfer from St. Croix a proven presence on orchestrating the offence

18 F Soh Yoo-Hyeon 1.86m SR F Adequate backup guard
21 W Emerson Ki 2.03m RS Jr M Adequate backup wing/forward
33 G Julianne Gong 1.77m JR F Tenacious guard with good one-on-one defence and decent long-2s

QUEEN'S COLLEGE AT CORNWALL GOLDEN GAELS

Location: Cornwall, Frontenac
Home Arena: Riley Jeon-Keane Arena at the Athletics Centre (Esp. 2011, Cap: 8,000)

Head Coach: Joanna Parker-Youngblood, 27 (1st Year)
Style Modifier for guidance purpose:-5. Traditionally Queen's College have been known for its strong emphasis on defence and slow-tempo, set-up offence, something that have been defined by their most famous alumni- point guard Heo Myeong-Yoon and centre Riley Jeon-Keane. It's also a squad known to be particularly infamous on slow offence and stringent defence, something that is expected to continue under its rookie coach Joanna Parker-Youngblood. The team centres their play around the triangle offence generated by point guard Yeo Min-Seon, small forward Washta Elliott-Jeon, and centre Amanda McDonagh.

# Pos. Player Height Year Sex Roles (Note)
01 SF Washta Elliott-Jeon 1.85m GR F Team captain: Physical specimen with excellent BQ (QIS first-team all-Quebecois)
03 G Maria Sorokina 1.84m SO F Backup guard known for her Rushmoristep (Eurostep)
04 F Kwak Yoon-Ji 1.87m JR F Key substitute when a dose of offence is needed on line - underrated but always needed considering this squad
05 PG Yeo Min-Seon 1.80m Sr F Current holder of the legendary #5 point guard line, possesses excellent ball handling
09 PG Philippa Price-Anderson 1.75m FR F Tenacious rebounder and defender (B1G rookie of the year)
10 F Hong Ye-Ri 1.82m SR F The sixth-woman player for this team - amazing postups and will do anything to fight for defence
11 G Kwak Yoon-Joo 1.79m SO F Outside shooter who shoots well, but is slow on feet
13 PF Nadine Corriveau 1.87m SO F Slow forward with good defensive presence
15 C Amanda McDonagh 1.95m RS Jr F Starting centre with good rebounds and inside scoring
18 F Claire-Anne Chidom 1.93m FR F Quick-feeted forward with good footwork but needs improvement in rebounding
21 W Jeanette Barras 1.85m RS FR F Backup who moves well as a 2 or a 3
25 C Emily Amukahara 1.89m FR F Viewed as the next centre in line for Queen's College

CALIFORNIA UNIVERSITY KODIAKS

Location: California City, Manitoba
Home Arena: California City Veterans' Coliseum (Est. 1968, Cap: 15,640)

Head Coach: Henry Dunnan-Sung (18th Year with California)
Style Modifier: +2. a fast team that relies a lot of their scoring upon Gilbert Foringer-Kimpembe, a future national-teamer, but it does have a solid group of players to score around as well. Chikadze-Suvorov brothers are good defensive presences. They are alright on defence.

 # Pos. Player Height Year Sex Roles (Note)
01 PG Joh Yeong-Soo 1.93m SR M Team Captain: Fundamentally-faithful point guard with good eye on talent
03 C Devin Hong 2.18m FR M Brother of Kodiaks' legend Irvin. Raw centre material whose mobility is one to watch!
04 PF Aslan Chikadze-Suovorov 2.10m RS So M Powerful frontcourt player also known for his 12 blocks in the QIS Championship Final. (2054 QIS Men's Championship Game MVP)
06 G Terrence Joseph Rudd 1.90m GR M Graduate transfer from Nunavut State. A major substitute option who can be relied for inside scoring.
07 SF Gilbert Foringer-Kimpembe 2.01m SO M Superstar, period. Reigning QIS Men's MVP of the Year
08 F Francis Delvincourt 2.00m SO M Two-sport athlete in basketball and football. Decent but undersized backup forward.
10 F/C Moon Hyeon-Seok 2.04m JR M Solid defensive presence on the post.
12 C Rudy Pantin 2.10m RS FR M Cousin of former Grim Reaper Noah Pantin. Offensively-minded centre
14 W Woo Chan-Hyeong 1.96m JR M Sixth-man of the team. Excellent ballhandler when substituted, but struggles when placed into starter position.
18 G Alexander Chikadze-Suvorov 2.01m GR M Backup guard all his career long, his leadership and academics have kept his place on the team for long time. Also a good perimeter defender.
21 SG Remy Cavins 1.75m FR M Tiny, bald shooting guard with very good three-pointers

NSCAA 13 - The Emirate of Schima Bas

University Name With Nickname, Home Arena (Capacity), Location

Blue Crescent Technical College Blue Bonners, Active Life Arena (8,321), Ourelasia

Head Coach: James Wycliff, 52
Style Mod: -3

C: Logan Murray, Sr.
SF: Shaquille Morris, Sr.
PF: Ombedi Algurado, Sr.
SG: Jacques Holmgren, Jr.
PG: Kyler Zagorro, Fr.

A haven for medical technology innovation, Blue Crescent Technical College has modernized and expanded beyond humble roots, building its reputation for being a stellar private university in the heart of Ourelasia.

Historically an underperforming program, the Blue Bonners (nicknamed after the medical “Bonners” that served in the Basian armed forces during the civil war), have found success lately behind the arm of Frank Di Armelo, a slippery shooting guard that managed to confound more skilled opponents with ease, to the joy of long-disgraced fans.

The team this year will rely on senior small forward Shaquille Morris, whose relentless pressing and paint performance has many eyes again focused on Blue Crescent basketball.

Border Baptist University Collies, Sallwest Arena (14,862), Ourelasia

Head Coach: Tom Adler, 46
Style Mod: +3

C: Jack Blosse, Sr.
SF: Izzie Floom, Jr.
PF: Gilbert Hannover, Sr.
SG: Luxarious Rosa, Jr.
PG: Lucius Crawford, So.

Border Baptist has often been the dark horse of Basian college hoops. Since becoming the preeminent christian university in Schima Bas, the university has used the excitement around the program to elevate the school’s brand to a national audience.

The Collies play fast and furious, raining in shots, and can often neglect defensive cover. Their impressive shooting record is the result of their tireless scouting network finding the best high school guards in the country.

With the youngest head coach from the bunch in 46-year-old Tom Adler, Border Baptist always presents an unorthodox challenge to opponents that think they can blow past them. The Collies seem to have been cursed recently, as a series of untimely accidents has prevented some great Collie teams from claiming the title.

Crimson Royal University Mink, Unity Gymnasium (14,361), Alquerdi

Head Coach: Assam Bastoli, 58
Style Mod: +2

C: Jayce Yeller, Jr.
SF: Mario DeMari, Sr.
PF: Clement Hart, So.
SG: Jordan Audi, Sr.
PG: Mohan “Mo” Qadiri, Jr.

Crimson Royal are the new “IT” team from Schima Bas. Sweeping migrating talent away from Crown’s College has made the two schools an easy rival, as the rising Mink snap the nose of the humiliated Royal Bears with one league victory after another.

The challenge for Crimson Royal is always focused on ending up on top of both Crown’s College and The University of the Southern Coast’s dogpile for the championship. It has succeeded recently, propelled to success from excellent playmaking guards and the coaching expertise of Assam Bastoli, the first and only coach of the Mink.

Finally silenced in the past three years by the Southern Coast Stallions and a surprising Morissland A&M cinderella run, a powerful Mink team hopes to find victory anew in the arenas of the multiverse.

Crown’s College Royal Bears, The High Court (16,524), Viercourt

Head Coach: Richard Bell, 60
Style Mod: +2

C: Chase Pointer, So.
SF: Trent Julianis, Jr.
PF: Hans Deide, Sr.
SG: Pete Gillos, Jr.
PG: Micah Zemarias, Sr.

Crown’s College is a shell of its former self. The city of Viercourt has gone largely unrepaired and underdeveloped since the civil war, as attention has shifted towards Ourelasia and Alquierdi as the new heart cities of Schima Bas. In recent years, the Royal Bears have struggled to keep talent from eyeing other schools in the country, but the stable leadership of coach Richard Bell has helped keep the fracturing pieces together.

Once filled to the brim every gameday, The High Court now only averages an attendance of just over 7,000. As the population of Viercourt continues to sink, the once-large fanbase of the Royal Bears continues to diminish, leaving the loyal fanbase with resentment towards many different programs, with special frustration reserved for the Crimson Royal Mink that have ascended as Crown’s College has declined.

After Micah Zemarias and Trent Julianis graduate, the future is up in the air for the once successful program. Can the university turn around their fate, or will they fade into irrelevance as many fans fear?

Jasper Technological Institute Foxes, Our Arboreum “OurAr” (12,212), Ourelasia

Head Coach: Patrick Swasser, 51
Style Mod: +0

C: Donald Christensen, Jr.
SF: Julian Fissuolo, So.
PF: Alex Bolton, Sr.
SG: Jimmy Graves, So.
PG: Hopp Almeras, Jr.

Jasper Technical is a team that’s always just been there. They have never won much domestically, and have served as the doormat of college basketball in the country for all of their history. Hope for the future lies with Sophomore shooting guard Jimmy Graves, a strong-minded bull of a player that may be the most hyped prospect in Jasper Technical’s history. Watch for Graves and head coach Patrick Swasser to butt heads, as the two have a strained relationship.

If Foxes fans can’t find positives in their history on the court, they can look to the school’s beautiful arena as a point of pride. “Our Arboreum”, shortened to “OurAr”, was designed by Basian architect Elmyra Fusillis. She’s known for mixing natural and manmade materials, and the Arena’s upper levels are surrounded by a smattering of trees that provide a unique gameday experience. Foxes and other wild animals used to be kept in the natural areas, but have since been removed due to the fan’s presence over-stressing the animals. Owl hoots and other natural sounds can still be heard, coming from a loudspeaker, although students will be quick to tell you they are real.

A Freshman-only club keeps the tradition alive, the “OurAr Beasts”, that dress up in crude fox outfits and hide in the wooded areas, try to distract opposing free-throw shooters, and creep up behind opposing fans to give them a good fright. While the basketball on the court might not be anything special, there’s always something to witness in Jasper.

Morissland A&M Campmen, Qadir Rifling Arena (13,250), Barbone

Head Coach: Harold Diggs, 57
Style Mod: +1

C: Varus Hommel, Sr.
SF: Marius Offte, Jr.
PF: Derrick Lamere, Jr.
SG: Howard Deangelo, Jr.
PG: Brandy Enbass, So.

Morissland is the most rural region of Schima Bas, and the Campmen have struggled to keep local talent, losing key prospects to Crimson Royal and the other dominant schools in the country.

Coach Harold Diggs, a former assistant coach with The University of the Southern Coast, has managed to win with a roster that’s far from star-studded. If any of the major Basian programs falter, look at Diggs as a likely coaching replacement.

Morissland easily fills Qadir Rifling Arena, as the Campmen are one of the only sports teams in the area. Away games are always challenging, even for more talented opposition.

National College Steamers, Hall Fieldhouse (20,380), Ourelasia

Head Coach: Harvey Lincoln, 55
Style Mod: +2

C: Mason Everett, Jr.
SF: Hassan Halbert, So.
PF: Moke Alhambrasas, So.
SG: Farris Di Arnhem, Jr.
PG: Joey Graves, Sr.

National College was the home for the first basketball game played in Schima Bas, with an upperclassmen versus underclassmen bout that ended in favor of the Seniors.

The program saw immense success in the early days of college ball in Schima Bas, but has struggled in finding similar success in the modern game. The team loves scoring in the paint, and have seen several excellent playmakers set up in their ranks.

University of The Southern Coast Stallions, Alignment Coliseum (10,256), Dos Arbores

Head Coach: Max Morgan, 53
Style Mod: +3

C: Chevy Grandis, So.
SF: Jackson Buffont, Sr.
PF: Grant Geller, Jr.
SG: Howard Demarcus, Sr.
PG: Brandon Halbsmann, Jr.

The Stallions are the most successful team in the country’s college basketball scene. The private university has several influential alumni that have influenced the growth of the program. Its players have become stars in the country, and the branding and marketing behind them have led to many players departing and having successful careers in professional basketball leagues outside of Schima Bas.

This year is special for the Stallions, as they enter multiverse play for the first time in their history. Will they be able to dominate like they have for most of their history, or will they find themselves lost as a small fish in a big pond?

UNIVERSITÉ DU SAGUENAY FIGHTING IRISH

Location: South Bend, Saguenay
Home Arena: Ryu-Kweon Pavilion at the Letourneau-Jourdenay Centre (Est. 1969, Cap: 11,450)

Head Coach: Mario Koo-Kweon, 49 (3rd Year as Head Coach, longtime assistant before that)
Style Modifier for guidance purpose: +2. Uses a mix of man-to-man and zone defence. Team is slightly undersized but it works well in both ways. Tend to emphasise the offensive flow to those in the middle-three positions of 2-3-4.

 # Pos. Player Height Year Sex Roles (Note)
01 PG Park Mok-Heui 1.75m FR F Starting point guard. Shoots well, passes well, but defensively questionable (B1G first-team all-star)
04 F Fabienne Linton Lalonde 1.85m RS Fr F Adequate backup forward who needs a bit more strength
05 C Saffron Mongeau-Mantha 1.93m FR F Fairly athletic centre who doesn't have as much experience with basketball (recruited while a senior). Maintains 4.0 GPA in physics though, and has been improving a lot as backup centre
06 W Joo Yeon-Heui 1.78m JR F Sixth-woman of this squad. Best known for registering back-to-back triple doubles on this year's QIS Tournament. Good inside scoring and penetration ability.
07 PG Karina Revilla 1.70m GR F Postgraduate student with strong BQ. On last leg of her career before pursuing further postgraduate studies
09 G Yi Ye-Seon 1.77m SO F Solid backup guard.
11 F Amy Equinox 1.86m SO F Solid backup forward, sister of J.J. Equinox of Mount Ester men's team
13 SG Frederique van der Linde 1.87m GR F Oft-injured shooting guard with excellent off-ball movements and decent shot
14 C Ryu Yeong-Hwa 1.82m RS So F Undersized centre with strong reach and great power (B1G second-team all-star)
21 W Kang Se-Yeon 1.77m FR F High school teammate of Cosette Kweon, with whom they have won three Saguenay 3A championships with Lycee-de-South-Bend. Defensively-questionable wing with excellent scoring ability.
28 PF Cosette Kweon 1.86m FR F Daughter of head coach Koo-Kweon, she is much more than what her surname means, as have seen by a QIS Rookie of the Year. Despite her height, she can score anywhere on will, though zone defence needs bit more work (man-to-man is actually good)
44 G Ada McKillop 1.80m GR F Key substitute option. Postgraduate transfer from Univ. de Chicoutimi, just an hour away.

  # Pos. Player Height Year Sex Roles (Note)
01 F Joy Ellington 1.93m FR F A flying menace on defence, most recently played for Quebecois U19 women's national team. Also known as sister of Horace Ellington, the frontman of 69Xer-Quebecois rock band Pull Out Boy who's 15 yrs older than her.
04 G Baek Dong-Hyeon 1.88m JR M Solid guard with good vision and decent shooting, but needs more focus on defence.
06 G Campbell Ainslie-Kweon 1.78m SR F Women's team captain known for her tenacity. Once had a four-game suspension for headbutting a player, the same season she scored a national championship-winning buzzer beater. Most recent QIS women's championship MVP.
07 G June Chavez Mayberry 1.80m SO F Reigning QIS women's basketball MVP. Active national-teamer with potential to succeed Abigail Corelli as the starting point guard. Needless to say more.
08 C Kang Chil-Goo 2.08m SR M Slow but reliable centre. Unlikely to be drafted, but good news with his career is that he has recently received a job offer to teach at local public board.
10 C/F Robert O'Malley 2.12m JR M Feisty centreman with love of alcohol. Possesses intriguing free throwing routine that also make him one of the best free throw shooters in college right now.
12 F Bae Hyeon-Jin 1.98m SO F Undersized forward with great BQ. Brother of Bae Hyeon-Joong.
14 F Elodie Bahng 1.88m SO F Lanky forward with defensive responsibilities.
15 G Bae Hyeon-Joong 1.94m SR M Smart guard with solid defence (first-team all-Quebecois). Loves attacking the rim even with decent outside shots.
19 C Joanna Brajkovic 1.92m SO F Very good scorer on paint. Defensively improving, though that's less of an issue with Halifax team who have made it to back-to-back final fours and won a natty.
31 W Felix N'Diaye 1.96m RS Jr M Graduate transfer from Univ. of Kingston. Good wingspan and shooting touch.
48 F/C Heo Ye-In 1.88m FR F Sixth-woman of this team. Scores well on most inside range incl. long-2s. Better on zone defence.

KEEWATINOOK UNIVERSITY HUSKIES

Location: Fort Lowe, Manitoba
Home Arena: Fort Lowe Veterans Pavilion (Est. 1948, Cap: 8,000)

Head Coach: Goh Gyeong-Hwa, 58. (21st year with the program)
Style Modifier for guidance purpose: -4. Maintains strong teamwork that goes around their point guard Anna Tsutsugo. Under Goh era, they have never lacked strong inside presence, and team having tweeners shouldn't affect the fact that they do have top 2 defence in all of Quebec (Queen's College is the other). Strategically coach Goh drills discipline and this should reflect in how the players handle their matches.

 # Pos. Player Height Year Sex Roles (Note)
01 PF Olivia Neuberova 1.96m GR F Team's all-time rebounder and second-highest scorer from Norrskie Zasousti, a constituent state of Gatchingerrak Union. Likely first-round selection in the QWBL. (First-team All-Quebecois)
03 G Arabella Feather-Fennington 1.80m JR F Sixth-woman of the team. Good outside scorer.
04 C Vera Kostyuk 1.87m SR F All-arounded centre. Likely second-round selection into the QWBL Draft. (First-team Salamantic-12)
06 PG Anna Tsutsugo 1.70m SR F Point guard with insane driving ability and ability to execute the offence. A potential QWBLer even with her height. (Second-team All-Quebecois).
08 G Sarah Gagnon-Lightbound 1.82m FR F Local girl whose walk-on status was quickly replaced with a scholarship after scoring 17 points on her debut. Good substitute option to be paired alongside Byeon or Kim.
11 C Larysa Livitanova 1.92m FR F Daughter of assistant coach and men's team legend Oleg Livitanov. Good height and man-to-man defence but still needs some time before maturing into starter role.
12 SF Summer-June Sumner 1.78m JR F Team captain. Slightly undersized player on the 3-spot but reads zone defence well and has good reach.
15 F Kim Chae-Rin 1.86m SO F Great backup forward. Provides spark to the team whether offensively or defensively.
20 SG Dang Ye-Jin 1.78m RS So F Blue-collared guard who handles her roles well. Allows Sumner and Tsutsugo to excel and is a quiet leader on the locker room.
21 W Byeon Ji-Sook 1.84m SO F Good outside scorer who can play both 2-and-3. Usually performs better under pressure.
27 C Brianne Chun-Mellis 1.88m RS Fr F Skilled scorer with weak knees. Expected to split backup minutes with Larysa Livitanova.
40 G Elora Cookson 1.78m SR F Adequate backup guard. Will be graduating into a role as assistant coach after the summer tournament.

F/C: Cassidy Eastwood (6'5"- Junior) Major: Theater, GPA: 4.0

The leader of the team is Courtney Larkin, even though she is only a sophomore. She has tremendous poise and is a very accurate shooter. Add in the fact that she simply sees the court very well, and she is a true star. Connors is in her first year in the starting lineup, but coaches feel she has made tremendous strides since last year. Her GPA also saw a nice increase to also show that maybe she is settling down now into campus life.

There was a lot of concern within the school that this would be a down year when 7’0” Kelsey Turnbull graduated, one of the two starters that they lost. Then, the news of the 7’2” giant, Katrina Pavlova, being recruited made people feel better. She knows how to use her size to her advantage, fully.

A former champion, and the team is hoping to be in the news this year for the right reasons. They are also looking to avenge a stunning second round loss in the tournament that kept them from accomplishing their bigger aspirations. Hopefully this won't affect the team too much and they won't lose games early, or lose anything by 50 or something.

Last year was a bit of a down year, and with three starters graduating from that team, the concern grew that this would not be a great year. In some respects, they did not wow anyone this year, but won the games that they were supposed to win. Towards the end of the season, they got on a bit of a roll. That, along with the team’s reputation for being a part of the NSCAA tournament led to them being chosen again.

F: Stacie Carrier (6’6”- Soph.) Major: Mobile Technology, GPA: 3.2
F/C: Rachel Kirkpatrick (6'8"- Junior) Major: Cyber Forensics, GPA: 4.0

In their third game of the season against a small school in Brattleboro, Rachel St. Clair sustained an injury that kept her out six weeks. On top of that, Shannon Stefanelli missed seven games due to an academic suspension (GPA falling under 2.0). This led to a slow start by their standards, but they got hot late, reminded everyone that they are a power school, and nearly lifted the trophy as champions at the end of the season.

F: Paul Greene (6'6"- Senior.) Major: Men’s Studies, GPA: 3.8
F/C: Dave LaFleur (6'9"- Freshman) Major: Undecided, GPA: 2.8

This school has taken incredible leaps over the course of time, and has played very well in the NSCAA tournament up to this point. They are at the point now where they can be a no-brainer for any young man wishing to pursue his basketball career, and subsequently, the school is a powerhouse.

F: Brittany McClain (6’7”- Freshman), Major: Sports Medicine, GPA: 3.5
F/C: Paige Baker (6’11”- Soph.), Major: Veterinary Studies, GPA: 2.7

The school has been absent from the NSCAA tournament the last couple times, but has had off and on appearances in it, so it’s not new to the administration of the school. The team likes to play a slower pace and play tougher defense, but the play of Heather Young this year allowed them to open it up a little more, and that may have been the missing piece to get them back in this tournament.

F: Taylor Capuano (6’5”- Freshman), Major: Undecided, GPA: 2.3
F/C: Sarah Sanford (6’4”- Soph.), Major: Chemistry, GPA: 4.0

A complete Cinderella, getting confidence early with a 85-81 win over the University of Concord Heights on the third day of the season, then beating the Beauty School, 77-76 on a last second buzzer beater from Brooke Gardner the next day. From there, they continued to play well, then used the national tournament to open more eyes, making it all the way to the final four. How much further can they go? It’s going to have a few key people around for multiple years. The alumni are excited.

Commonwealth of Baker Park Entries

A&M come into NSCAA 13 for the first time with a junior-laden lineup that surprised the experts by winning the Metro Tournament title last season. Lazerella is certain to go in the first round of the CBL draft.

Location: Belle Haven
Enrollment: 20,419 undergrad/2,739 undergrad
Founded: 1904
Nickname: Miners
Coach: Todd Carselle (5th season)
Assistants: Bob Anderson, John Rockford
Colors: Cherry & Gold
Starters: Pete O'Connor G (6'2 Jr., 14.2 ppg/81% FT), Kenny Lazerella F (6'7 Sr., 21.8 ppg/7.4 rpg), Trey Valentine C (6'10 Jr., 17.3 ppg/11.1 rpg), Jimmy Kern G (6'1 Jr., 9.7 ppg/8.6 apg), Lee Ko-jin F (6'3 10.8 ppg/5.0 rpg)

Arena: Jefferson Center (7,000), [also Belle Haven Arena (22,000)]
Image
Completed in 1991, the Jefferson Center replaced the antiquated Exhibition Building that A&M had called home from 1914.

The Germans won the first DCIT last NSCAA season and parlayed that into another National title, Hunter's 7th and the school's 32nd overall. It was a fitting conclusion to a season that celebrated Hunter's 20 years in charge, and next season will see EC celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the late Aldine Adkinson's hiring as coach in 1948, setting in motion the development the Commonwealth's most enduring sport dynasty.

Location: Endborough, Endover
Enrollment: 9,096 undergrad/258 post-grad
Founded: 1888
Nickname: Germans (unofficially 'Lady Germans')
Coach: Caren Hunter (20h season)
Assistants: Wendi Ambridge, Julia Slaney
Colors: Black, Gold & Red
Starters: Tamara Kelly F (6'5” Sr., 23.8 ppg/9.5 rpg), Loretta Burnette C (6'8” Sr., 17.4 ppg/7.8 rpg), Jen Radford G (5'11 Jr., 13.5 ppg/4.3 apg), Terri Brand F (6'4 So., 11.5 ppg/5.6 rpg), Yvonne Allen G (6'1 So., 14.0 ppg)

Arena: Main Gymnasium (9,400), [also CAPBANK Center (18,955)]
Image
There's a school legend (EC has dozens of them) that the Main Gym is haunted (it was built in 1933), but spirits or not, EC are nearly unbeatable there.

Uniforms
Image
The famous gold uniforms were said, by an opposing coach in the past, to be worth 6-8 points before they even had the center toss; the school played in nine out of ten National Championship games between 1959-68, so maybe there's something to it. They remain basically unchanged from "Miss Aldine"'s time except for the numbers; her famous quote about them is on a sign above the door out of the locker room: "Whether we win or lose, it still says Endborough College across our tits, and that's what's most important."

Osheana State return for the fourth straight time, meaning they have participated in every NSCAA tourney since the UAC began sending schools. Last year's run to the semi-final of the DCIT meant that they have posted three straight 20 win campaigns in that span as well; their game in Sadeg versus EC was both historic and symbolic, in that it marked the first time an all-male and all-female university team faced off, and the fact that they were two of the sport's most successful programs all-time (O-State is tied for most championships won with 5) in Baker Park.
Like the women, the Falcons also elevated their domestic season results, winning the WAC regular season crown and losing in the 2nd round of the NAtional tournament to eventual National Champions St Leon.
Location: State University Borough, Osheana
Enrollment: 21,281 undergrad/ 1,055 post-grad
Founded: 1903
Nickname: Falcons
Coach: Bob McDonald, (13th season)
Assistants: Cris Agosto, Quincy Wallis, Sr.
Colors: Burnt Orange & Seal Brown
Starters: Peter Sorianno G (6'0 Sr., 14.7 ppg/7.8 apg), Craig Hartman G (6'2” Jr.,16,0 ppg), Liam Hobart F (6'6” Sr., 17.2 ppg/8 rpg), Delray Jackson C (6'9 Jr., 10.8 ppg/6.5 rpg), Steven Ellis F (6'5., 11.8 ppg)

Arena: Leonard Jenkins Center (13,600)
Image
The Jenkins Center is one of the best on-campus venues in the Commonwealth to watch a game, though many will argue that the old gym it replaced, Hill Fieldhouse, was probably more intimidating.

pt 2

People wondered "what's wrong UBP's women's program?" for a few seasons prior to their trip to the championship game two seasons ago, and when they made it again last season (beating EC in the semis the former time, and losing to the Germans in the latter) everyone treated the previous down period as just a blip on the radar.
An instructive lesson in history repeating itself might've come in handy--Audrey Snider struggled to find a balance between her job of record and her side gig as Head Coach of the Baker Park National Team. It was an issue that her mom--retired University of Endover coach Kelly McNeal--and godmother--retired Lynchana coach Kelly Domagal, as well a couple other of women she was close to with the same last name--all experienced at different points in their careers.
Needless to say, the 'Bear Express' is back on track, and Snider is excited to bring her team to a bigger stage in NSCAA>

The University of Coolville was established as a branch campus of the University of the Commonwealth system (this will be a recurring theme in the final two previews); it developed a strong curricular relationship with the State College of Midalia campus in the city from an early date, the schools sharing sponsorship of several programs of study (although that didn't diminish the rivalry between them).
The Tigers were picked to finish fifth in the Big 8 in pre-season, but lost only a single game--at St Leon--to cruise to the regular season crown. Like A&M, they are probably a year ahead of schedule, and also like Kellerville State in NSCAA 12, they will welcome the extra revenue that 15 home dates will bring in. They are "long" by BP standards, and all very good at all phases without being exceptional at any one.

The University of the Commonwealth branch at Ezriquay was established at the same time as the Coolville branch was founded and for the same reason that a major professional & research oriented school was placed directly in opposition with a state controlled university in the same city--to drive advancement in education at both.
Both U of E and EU (as Ezra & Ezriquay are differentiated) consider any season that they get the best of their Endoveran brethren one to celebrate and the Golden Eagles upsetting #2 ranked Endover in the conference tournament final was celebrated by both Green and Red sides of the river; still another school whose future is brighter than its present.

The Red Raiders also built upon their success in NSCAA 12, as they were the only school that made it to the semi-final of their respective conference tourney, and the only one that got a bid to the Ultra 64.
They won their final 12 games to take the National Championship--the school's third overall and first since 1989--and now are in their third straight NSCAAA looking for more hardware.
