- [Ezohir Physiology]: Like the rest of his race, Nandras has high immunity against radiation, as well as excellent night vision.
- [Zooming Sight]: Nandras is able to zoom his vision like a telescope in order to pick out tiny or distant targets. It is powerful enough to spot a rabbit from three miles away.
- [Galvanic Rifle]: A single shot, breech loading weapon originally meant for hunting game. The rounds can penetrate right through brick.
- [Machine Arms]: A pair of mechanical limbs sprout from a mounted backpack, one of which is armed with a mining laser capable of chipping through rock. The other arm has adaptable bladed instruments like a Swiss knife. Both of these have claws capable of grabbing or crushing objects up to the side of a baseball.
- [Armored Suit]: Designed to protect the relatively frail Ezohir should they come into conflict. Nandras is encased in such a suit when in missions; it is bulletproof, though it cannot take on direct anti-tank weaponry.
- Design flaws; The mining lasers are notoriously slow with actually cutting through things, as they were designed to be extremely precise.
- [Gravitational Unease]: Though Nandras is one of the Ezohir that adapted well to Earth gravity, he still finds it hard to balance himself on the ground. As such, it is rather easy to make the birdman trip.
- [Overload]: Should the suit be attacked with a torrent of electricity, the circuitry will begin overloading, destroying it from the inside out and necessitating ejection. It is also susceptible to EMPs.

- [Stellar Magic]: Varo's magic is tied to the star Zraa, the home star of his father's people. After undergoing a ritual to tie himself to the star's power. It granted Varo the ability to use its magic and can perform steller-based abilities. Such as sending out steller energy as projectiles, empower his physical attacks with steller magic, or call down steller blasts from above, and more. As long as his connection to Zraa is secure.
- [Alien Physiology]: Due to his alien origin, Varo both has enhanced strength and enhanced durability. Making him naturally stronger and more durable just above anything a normal human can do. This can be increased when Varo uses his magic to empower himself.
- There is a limit to how much stellar energy Varo can absorb and use. Especially when he chooses to empower himself with stellar energy. Use too much and he risks hurting himself and others near him.
- [Constant Connection]: It is possible to dispute Varo's connection to Zraa, using magic to sense the connection and mess with it by focusing on the connection point on his body. Which is the back of his head. Or even a well-placed head injury could mess with his connection. It can weaken Varo's magic or disable it entirely.

Yeah, I understand. But, it would be nice to play as this char again and admittedly I do not tend to join late in rps but, this rp does have someone I know in here and I think I can handle being in this rp. If you guys are willing over my unsure actions.

Race app looks good, no changes needed on that front I think. For the character app if we could get one more weakness/limitation particularly as it pertains to his suit/tech that'd be appreciated.Theyra wrote:Elaian and Varo
For the race app, could you expand a bit on the race's connection/relevance to Earth or any of the other alien races such as the Hadrians? They feel slightly disconnected at the moment.
For the character, is Varo and his father the only Elaian to come earth before? Also could you expand on the weakness a bit, how exactly can his connection with his magic be severed?

- [Teleportation Swapping]: Molly's main ability is a somewhat unique form of Teleportation. She can pretty much teleport anything on Earth of any size smaller than a building, and any weight smaller than a battleship: herself, other people, cars, hand-held items. (Teleporting a mountain, a continent, or a planet is impossible, obviously). The only problem is, there's a catch. Whatever she teleports, she has to make it so that it switches places with something near her that is roughly the same size or mass. A large NFL offensive tackle would probably not be able to be switched with a young child. In that sense, it is more rigid in the weight / mass distribution. (Though, she could swap a shrunken character who kept his mass in his small size, with a normal sized person of mass). This means, if Molly teleports herself somewhere, she has to switch places with someone else. This ends up being more of a switch or swapping of places, than it does a "normal" form of teleportation.
Here is another aspect of this ability. Whenever Jinx teleports people, they always are facing the same direction they were. Say, she sees a friend fighting an enemy. She teleports her friend and the enemy so that they have switched spaces, but are still facing the same direction they had been. That means when she does this, her friend and the enemy are now facing away from each other, and have to turn around.- [Danger Sense]: - What makes Molly difficult to fight and unpredictable is her Danger Sense. She has an acute sense of incoming danger moments before it takes action. She can sense if people are aiming guns at her, hurtling towards her at high speeds, about to do some kind of spell, etc. Because she has this sense, she often takes precautions and teleports away. Sometimes switching places with an attacker, even if he was a sniper 300 yards away. This is more than a simple "bad feeling" that something bad could happen. It is a more direct awareness of where the danger is coming from - and how fast.
- [Mind Barrier]: Molly's Mind Barrier keeps all psionic activity out of her head. No mind warping, manipulations, psi-bolts or illusions will get through. Perhaps to her detriment, this also blocks all forms of telepathy and communication from friendly allies as well. Molly isn't really aware she has this power - because it's not like she hangs around with telepaths. It's always on, though she doesn't even know it.
- Molly's mind barrier cannot keep out telekinetically thrown objects.
- All Molly can do is really teleport. There's no way she should be able to end the universe with just this.
- Molly can only teleport one target at a time, switching it with something else. She can't teleport a whole group of people.
- Molly's teleporting always involves a switch of two targets that have the same mass / weight. Without something of equal value to switch with, she can't use her power.
- Dangers coming in at fast speeds can be detected, but perhaps not reacted to.
- [Weak]: Molly has the strength of a normal teenager. In a normal fight without her teleportation, she'd probably get beaten up.
- [Impulsive]: Molly sometimes leaps before looking, which can be a problem at times for group relationships.

Never too late to rectify, eh?
Molly looks good! We normally discuss new apps in committee so we'll probably have to get back to you tomorrow, think OP is asleep now. But so far I can't see any glaring issues with her, looks like a balanced character.
I do have a few questions. For her danger sense, how acute is it? Does it allow her to know every time an enemy in front of her is going to throw a punch at her, or is it more just an ability to become aware of danger she was previously unaware of, but does not do anything about danger she's aware of? And about her teleportation swapping, how rigid is the mass equivalence part? Would all normal humans fall under the same mass category, or would she be unable to swap a particularly light person with a particularly heavy one?

I went back and edited some things. Molly's danger sense is pretty acute. It's more than just "I got a bad feeling about this." Instead, she can tell where danger is coming from, and how fast.
Her teleportation swapping is more rigid on the size / mass equivalence. She could not swap herself out with a large sumo wrestler nearby. But she could swap a shrunken character whose mass remained constant, with someone of similar mass.
