Sayoko was formed after a bloody and brutal civil war with divisions in its armed forces. Eventually, the 4th Unit, also known as the Battalion of the Black Crow, won and established order in the country. Many surviving veterans have PTSD from the war, and terrorist attacks from rebel groups are still common in the country to this day. The country officially operates a state-owned socialist economy, but in reality there is barely an economy at all to own.
