"Well, it's still the same OP technically..." Edition

OVERVIEW

It is an alternate February 2022. While tensions remain high between the rising superpowers in the East and the stalwart, reigning West, no stones have been thrown ... yet. Following the 9/11 hijackings, the use of black ops special forces had become more and more commonly used. The result was the North Atlantic Treaty Organization's (NATO) creating a scientific task force composed of the most brilliant minds their member nations could offer in order to progress NATO's research and development. Of course, this is all nonsense, and in reality Task Force Aegis (TFA) was composed of some of the most brilliant military minds NATO had to offer. TFA is the cream of the crop.

Composed of the best NATO special forces operatives, Task Force Aegis has been responsible for a number of successful operations. This was highlighted in the United States of America's 2002 Invasion of Afghanistan where TFA operatives were responsible for eliminating high value targets within the Sacred Ones' government, as well as a number of infiltration and sabotage operations. In 2009, following the aggressive expansion of the Russian Federation into the Baltics, TFA's operations shifted from assassinations, infiltrations and sabotage, to doing the work of NATO that was considered to be too dirty for even for the organization. As a result, TFA has become more and more independent of their NATO handlers, and have been known to operate with minimal contact with NATO.

Today, Task Force Aegis remains a highly classified dirty secret of NATO. They are responsible for a number of destabilizations of hostile governments, inciting insurgencies in hostile nations, and even more. The task force has always risen to the challenge no matter what. They are highly-trained, highly-motivated, and well-equipped for any type of encounter.

OOC STUFF

Task Force Aegis is a small-scale, special operations RP based in an alternate 2022. The RP is designed to reflect modern warfare, special operations, and the moral & ethical dilemmas that face special forces operatives today. The RP requires a minimum of one character to a maximum of four characters. Unlike previous instalments of Task Force Aegis, this instalment will instead tackle small squad based tactics and the coordination of multiple special forces groups.

Players will create an operator from any in-real life NATO/NATO-friendly country's special forces, and are welcomed to be as creative as they want with their application.

Every operation is dynamic, but will stick to a linear story line/static goal. Each operation's outcome is dependent on whether or not if the operating group has completed various objectives and/or have been successful in their operations. This means that although the linear story line/static goal may call for the downfall of an oppressive regime, if the operators were unsuccessful, the new reigning government may be less friendly or downright hostile to NATO instead of a friendly or neutral attitude. Therefore, it is imperative that in each operation, every operator pays close attention to what they are supposed to do and not do.

GENERAL TASK FORCE AEGIS OFFICER - "ARCHER" - Responsibilities: NATO SUPPORT, DEPLOYMENT, ORGANIZATION, INTELLIGENCE

The Task Force Aegis' eye in the sky. The veteran NATO Intelligence Officer, codenamed ARCHER, helps to coordinate Task Force Aegis' deployments, as well as acts as the Task Force's overall commanding officer. While even the most veteran Aegis operators don't know ARCHER, and even fewer have met the man, he is still one of the most important cogs in the Task Force.
TASK FORCE AEGIS FIELD HANDLER - "CROSSROADS" - Responsibilities: FIELD COORDINATION OF AEGIS ASSETS, COMMUNICATIONS, OPERATIONS PLANNING

Crossroads is a veteran member of Task Force Aegis and is one of the only few higher-ups operatives will meet face-to-face. Responsible for the coordination of TFA while in the field, Crossroads and Archer work closely together in order to ensure the operational goals are efficiently completed.
TASK FORCE AEGIS HELICOPTER DETACHMENT - "HERMES 2-5" - Responsibilities: AERIAL TRANSPORTATION, LOGISTICAL SUPPORT, AERIAL COMBAT SUPPORT

Hermes 2-5 is a detachment of a classified NATO aerial special operations unit. While officially 2-5 is simply aerial transportation and logistical support, 2-5's main goal is to be essentially to be Task Force Aegis' air support. Although 2-5's ORBAT is highly classified as they are considered to be part of the Task Force, they do possess a number of transport and attack helicopters to support.
TASK FORCE AEGIS AVIATION FIXED WING DETACHMENT - "ARIES 6-1" - Responsibilities: LOGISTICAL SUPPORT, FIXED WING COMBAT SUPPORT, AERIAL RECONNAISSANCE

Similar to that of 2-5, Aries 6-1 is also a detachment of a classified NATO aerial special operations unit. Consisting of a small squadron of various close air support fixed wing, as well as an AC-130. It is unclear as to how many personnel operate under Aries 6-1, however, it can be reasonably determined that 6-1 has the capabilities of launching precision strikes, close air support, and transport Task Force Aegis operatives.

THE ALMUKHTARYN
A radical, and far-right international terrorist organization primarily based out of the countries of Iraq & Saudi Arabia, with its influence stretching from Africa to Western China to South-East Asia. It is one of the primary opponents of NATO, and originally held control over the country of Afghanistan from 1996-2004. While officially a political activist organization, the Almukhtaryn (English: The Chosen Ones) is a dangerous and motivated organization whose goal is the diminished role of the main global powers in Africa, the Middle East, South-East Asia, Central Asia, and Western China.

While its ground forces regained control of Afghanistan in 2021, the Almukhtaryn remain on the back foot against their endless struggle against the global powers. However, recently, the terrorist organization has begun to become closer with the Being Far-East Alliance following the takeover of Afghanistan.

VOSTOCHNOYE DVIZHENIYE ZA VOSSOYEDINENIYE (VDZV)

The Vostochnoye Dvizheniye Za Vossoyedineniye (VDZV; English: The East Movement for Reunification) is a suspected Russian-funded and supported separatist group in the Ida-Viru Maakond region of Estonia. Primarily composed of ethnic Russians living in Estonia, the VDZV has launched numerous insurrectionist and terrorist attacks against the Estonian government, civilian population, and military. The concern with the VDZV is that its primary goal is the take-over of the Estonian government and the re-unification with the Russian Federation to the East.

The VDZV are moderately-well equipped force armed with a mix of modern & Soviet-era military weapons, vehicles, and armour. Although in comparison to the Estonian military, they are of larger size, the VDZV are not as well trained as the regular Estonian forces. They control the majority of Ida-Virus Maakond in Estonia.

THE EASTERN AGREEMENT (TEA)

The Eastern Agreement (Russian: Vostochnoye Soglasheniye) is a military alliance agreement between Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Serbia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan. It is considered to be the world's third-strongest military alliance behind that of NATO & The Bejing Far-East Alliance.

THE BEJING FAR-EAST ALLIANCE (BFEA)

The Bejing Alliance is a military alliance agreement between China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Russia, Serbia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan. It is arguably the strongest or second-strongest world military alliance depending on who is asked.

INDFOR (INDEPENDENT/NEUTRAL FORCES)

THE VASTASJÕUD
The Vastasjõud (English: The Countermeasures; NATO Designation: "HOPPERS") are a collection of various paramilitary groups whose goals vary. This is a broad name for a diverse group of individual groups who are based in the North/North-Eastern regions of Estonia. As a result some groups of the Vastasjõud are hostile to either OPFOR, BLUFOR, or sometimes even all parties involved. These groups vary in size, political motivations, and aspirations.

The Vastasjõud range in quality of equipment varying from civilian small arms to military-grade equipment. Additionally, their training can range from armed civilian-style, poorly trained, to former members of the Estonian military. The Vastasjõud also possess minimal armoured vehicles, but have a wide collection of technicals armed with Soviet-era anti-personnel & anti-armour capabilities.

Biography: Born to Russian Jewish Immigrants and his Dad worked at the Oil Fields in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska. Growing up He spoke, English, Russian, and Hebrew, and played Hockey in Highschool, as well as partaking in hunting and fishing growing up. He wasn't the star of the teams he played on but he was one of the leaders of the teams. After he Graduated Highschool, and tired of Life In Northern Alaska, Billy would enlist in the USAF, having to travel to Fairbanks to the closest Recruiter. After he had completed Basic and Security Forces Tech school, He was sent to Anderson AFB, where he was trained in the art of Base Defense. Two Years later He was stationed at Cheyenne Mountain AFS, where he would start to work on his 4 year degree. He'd go on to graduate at the top of his class in the USAF Counter Sniper Program in 2001, He had was 3 months out of his training when 9/11 Happened. 9/11 Changed the Course Trajectory of his career but Billy hadn't known that just yet, and Billy would feel angry about what had happened.

2003, after the first airport was secured by CCTs and Rangers, Billy was one of the NCOs of the plane, as USAF Security Forces started to secure the air field. In 2004 Billy would return to from Deployment to Afghanistan, and meet his future wife Helena, who was a Student at Colorado College, at a Habitat for Humanity Event, both trying to get volunteer hours, Billy for a Good EPR, and Helena to keep her scholarships. They would start talking and eventually dating, and not long after Billy would be deployed to Afghanistan in 2005. 3 months into This 6 Month deployment, he learned that Helena was 4 months Pregnant with what would have been their only son. 3 months later he would return home. 2 weeks after returning home, Helena and him would marry, 2 months later Helena would go into labor but ended with a stillbirth, and was told shed never be able to bear children again. To deal with the Situation Helena threw herself into the relationship and her schooling, while Billy did the same as well as dealing with work. In 2006, Billy received orders to Buckley AFB in Denver Colorado, just a few months before Helena Graduated, and went to UC Boulder to get her PHD in Anthropology.

In 2008, Billy finished his B.S. in Criminal Justice, and had submitted his application to OTS, and they received a surprise that Helena was pregnant with their first daughter, who was born just days before Billy was Deployed yet again in 2009. While Deployed in 2009 he was told the news that he had been selected for OTS. While Also Deployed in 2009, Billy was setting in the back of a 5 ton Truck, with some ANA troops, when their convoy was ambushed and rolled to a stop as they was trapped. During all of this a grenade was tossed into the truck, and Billy dove on top of it to cover the blast with his body, only to end up laying there for 2 hours as the grenade failed to detonate, as his convoy fought off the ambush, and waited for EOD to arrive. For This action he was awarded the Sliver Star, later in 2020 this was upgraded to the MoH. After returning from Afghanistan, Billy was sent to OTS, where he graduated top of his cycle, and to the surprise of his class mates and instructors, chose to go STO.

The Next 2 Years was fillled with Training, both in the AETC system and at His First STS (Special Tactics Squadron). 2012 saw his first deployment to SEA. After this When not deployed, he was sent on missions and training exercises around World. He slowly made a name for himself in the AFSOC and SOCOM as a Officer with a rock steady head. This was cemented when in 2020, His Sliver Star was upgraded to a MoH, and After he returned from Afghanistan in 2021, He was told to pick a Team, and they was receiving orders for a New Task Force being set up. Biography: Bear was born to a Upper Middle Class Native American family. Growing up Bear was often the target of bullying due to his heritage, size, and for wearing glasses. This would go till he was in the 8th grade, when he'd finally have enough and beat up one of his bullies, using a from of Creek Martial Arts. The Bullying would then start to happen behind his back, but it would eventually die out as he started to play sports, and make a name for himself as a Running back and as a Catcher. By the time he was a senior he had made up his mind he was going to enlist as he had decided in the 8th grade After 9/11 he was going to enlist, so he went to the nearest USAF Recruiter to enlist. He heard there about the USAF CCT, and decided that what he wanted to do, upon graduation he had signed his enlistment contract and passed his PAST required to be a CCT Candidate.

He report to Basic Training the September after Graduating High School, 2 years later Bear would earn his Scarlett Beret, a Year after reporting to his First Unit, hed be operational as a CCT. In 2010 while Deployed to Afghanistan, He'd be christened with the Callsign with bear, partly because of his size, partly because he had to eat 2 MRES at each meal just to keep his calorie count in a healthy range. Over the Next Few Years, Bear made a reputation for himself inside of SOCOM and inside NATO Special Forces in General, with His Second tour in Afghanistan, him being dubbed by the Taliban as "The Pagan Ghost", thanks to his ability to disappear and reappear across different areas of Afghanistan, as well as US Marines letting it slip that to the Locals that Bear was both Native American and Pagan. Over the Next Few years Bear's reputation would grow, as he'd spend time with the 24th STS and Delta Force. He eventually landed on a team with Billy, Cub, and his brother Mule, in his second tour with the 24th STS. His team has been put on Special Assignment to Task Force Aegis

Biography: Haley was born to a Mike and Hailey Michelson in Key West, FL, the oldest of 3 kids. Growing up shed go fishing and sailing with her dad, and if not there helping her mom around the house, or learning about computers and programming, or being home schooled by her mom. During this time she didn't make very many friends, and became introverted due to the lack of social interaction with people outside of her family. When she was 16 her parents would divorce, though they co parented well. When she was 18 both of Her parents remarried, and shed go on to Enlist in the USAF as cyber security specialist. In 2016 she would deploy to Afghanistan, where to her surprise she did more work outside of the wire helping patrol the cities and villages then she did inside the wire as a cyber security specialist. She quickly found that many of the local women would approach to talk to her over her male counterparts, and helped get good intel this way despite being a introvert, though she was very uncomfortable with it the entire time. Upon returning to the states, she found that she missed the combat and being relied on for such a simple task of intel gathering, and approached her command about cross training to SOWT, which later became SR. With Her High PT scores, High Work marks, and favorable view, this was approved and the paperwork started. In 2018 she was deployed to Iraq, where she took on a role similar to what she had done in Afghanistan just two years prior, and after her six month tour was up, she returned to the States to Learn her request had been approved.

She left for SR training at the end of 2018 and by the end of 2019 had completed SR Training by the skin of her Teeth. A year later She was Operational and deployed to SEA. Upon returning from SEA, she surprised herself and others when she passed Selection for the 24th STS, with who she would deploy with in 2021 to Afghanistan and put in a Team with Billy, Bear, and Mule. Her team was later put on orders to TFA, while also recently getting done with the USAF Counter Sniping School.

Biography: Bear's Youngest sibling, he often was in the shadow of success of his older brother, despite them being six years apart in age, though he did make a name for himself in different sports then his brother coming up through high school, those sports being basketball as well as track and field. Upon Graduation from High School, like his brother before him he'd go on to enlist in the USAF but instead of fulling fully in his brothers footsteps as a CCT, Mule would go the route of the PJ, where in training he was bestowed the Name Mule for his stubborn to not give up, and to not let his team mates give up in training. After his 3 years of training, and becoming operational Mule would start to make a name for himself in both the SAR and SOCOM communities, but his first deployment would end early when a bullet from a SVD would go into his lower back. It was during this recover time that he'd develop a addiction to Opioids. After recovering, he'd be involve in a barfight, protecting a girl that kept telling a man no, but wouldn't listen, and severally hurting the man. Hed receive a Art 15 for this and demoted to E-1 from E-4 and forfeiture of 10% of his pay for a year.

During this time he'd go on to another deployment, at times working with a CIA SAD/SOG Team, and developed a knack for "Interrogation" Techniques. This lead him to be used often times in Interrogations were intel was needed fast and in a hurry, and his background as both a PJ and as VFD Paramedic helped with extracting information. Like His brother Before Him, Mule would garner a reputation, a reputation that caused much friction between Him and Bear. Mean while he did his best to curb his addiction to Opioids, sometimes winning that battle, sometimes losing that battle. In 2020 Despite more then a few black marks on his personal record, Mule would past selection for the 24th STS and end up on the same team as Bear. The Friction between the two came to a head in 2021 in a deployment to Afghanistan, where Mule finally promised to get help for his addiction before their squadron command did it for him, but before he could, his team was assigned to TFA not long after their last deployment to Afghanistan.

Biography:
Jordan Grey was born in to a military family in Virginia. his father had fought in Vietnam, and his mother served in the US Air Force. As such Jordan grew up in a strict and regimented household. Naturally the young man was pressured to do well in school, and do well he did. In high school he took a multitude of AP courses, as well as foreign language classes. Furthermore he played football for his high school, and took his team to regional championships as its quarterback.

Due to his academic excellence and extracurricular performance, Jordan would apply to and be accepted by West Point, where he would graduate 15th in a class of 40. In the Army he would be put through the ringer in terms of combat deployments, spending a combined total of 6 years in the Middle East as a Army Officer. In 2013 he would join the Green Berets and spent 4 years with SFG 1 in Iraq and Syria combatting ISIS forces. Here he performed as one of the best operators the Berets had, time and again showing his tactical and combat prowess in the line of duty. On one notable event, Jordan's unit was ambushed by ISIS forces, and as bodies of americans began hitting the ground, Grey rallied a handful of men on a attack against one side of the enemy's ambush, breaking their formation and sending the insurgents into disarray. In this ambush he was shot in the arm, carrying on the fight with his sidearm. He would win the Silver Star for his gallantry under fire.

In 2014 the CIA would contact Jordan, recruiting him to join the Agency's secretive paramilitary force, the SOG. He would accept the offer and was trained rigorously in languages, field craft, HUMINT, combatives, SERE, and other skills the CIA felt necessary he should have. He has been a part of SOG for 4 years, travelling all over the world, but mainly back to the Middle East, to complete whatever objectives the Agency sets for him, regardless of the cost.

In his career with SOG, Grey quickly adapted to the more loose posture the Agency had on the SOG teams. He quickly capitalized on his new freedom to complete missions with swift, decisive, and on more than one occasion, brutal action. Grey has been sent to hunt down high ranking members of terrorist groups and other organizations which the Agency finds undesirable, rescue CIA case officers and agents, and perform counter-terrorist operations against insurgent groups all over the Middle East.

Biography:

Adrian was born to a forest ranger and a woman who he never met and his father seldom spoke of. Because of the absence of his mother, Adrian spent a lot of time with his father out in the woods surrounding Mt. Hood. As such he learned basic survival skills from a very young age, and spent more time outdoors than inside his home.

Adrian's life is not described by high academic performance or extracurricular skill. Instead its a story of practical and useful world skills. However Adrian went to the University of the Oregon on a NROTC scholarship due to his fathers wish that he do something other than poorly paying forest ranger work. However instead of just joining the Navy, doing four years and then leaving to utilize his education, he decided to go the extra mile and went in to the program for training the next batch of SEALs officers. BUDs training beat hell out of the man, who even though he was in good physical shape and was skilled in outdoor survival, was still met with a challenge in the training. However Adrian survived the training, and graduated from UO and went straight into the Navy as a SEAL officer.

As a SEAL Adrian specialized in demolitions and put his skills to good use in Tripoli where he's demo work assisted the SEAL team's capture of a Libyan militant who had been being hunted for 15 years. Adrian would spend 7 years with the SEALs, conducting raids on known insurgent leaders, weapon caches, strongholds, and other missions. On one notable occasion Adrian crawled 50 meters under enemy fire to place an explosive charge necessary to bring down a Taliban tunnel exit. For this bravery under fire he was awarded the bronze star. Adrian retired from the service in 2018, intending to put his military days behind him. However the CIA came knocking in late 2018, and recruited the man to join the Special Operations Group. After some deliberation, he accepted the offer, and has been with SOG for 3 years, where he has continued to put his skills to use in service of a higher, and much more secretive, mission.

Biography:

Julia Smith was born the daughter of a trucker and a housewife. As such she spent a lot of her childhood with just her mother, as her father was often out driving. This naturally led the young girl to be quite independent from an early age, a personality trait which has never left her. Academically the young woman was stellar in the Wyoming education system, which was enough to drive her to the top of the competition for college applications. Julia grew up near several USAF air bases, and from a young age wanted to serve her country in the military. She would apply for the USAF Academy in Colorado, and be accepted with little trouble.

Her experience at the USAF academy was somewhat rocky, as there were many problems with sexism in the institution. This did nothing to quell her independent streak, in fact it only strengthened it. She would graduate from the Academy as a Intelligence Officer, and her first mission was to Iraq where she helped coordinate the USAF humanitarian relief efforts in the country. Her first taste of combat would be the following year in Syria, when insurgent fighters attacked her tent. She rallied the signals analysts and coordinated a defense of the station, action which would win her the Airman's medal as well as the purple heart.

In 2016 she would transfer to being a TACPO, a position that added more danger to her current role. She would spend the majority of her USAF career here, commanding JTACs and providing electronic warfare support to U.S Army forces all over the Middle East and Africa. In 2020 she would leave the Air Force, and was soon after contacted by the CIA to become a EWS officer for their Political Action Group. Here she was rigorously trained and pushed to her limits. A challenge which Julia readily accepted. Her career with POG and SOG has been relatively short, and she has yet to fully adapt to its distinct M.O

Biography:

Kaamil Dil Darzada was born in Kandahar, Republic of Afghanistan, to a professor and nurse. His early life was on the rough the Soviet- Afghan war just wrapping up as he was brought in to life. During the 90's his childhood was dominated by the civil war between the various Mujahidin factions, a war which would ultimately claim his father. A radical faction of the Mujahidin, the Taliban disliked his father for being an intellectual, and as such took his life on the streets of Kaamil's home city. Left alone with his mother, a deep hatred for Islamic extremists brewed inside the boy, a hatred that would never leave him. Taliban rule further imposed hardship on him, as his mother was barred from working, and Kaamil was forced in to being an aide to a Taliban fighter.

When the Northern Alliance finally forced the Taliban out of Kandahar, Kaamil rejoiced with the populace as the Taliban surrendered the country to the U.N and the Norther Alliance. In 2006 Kaamil would attend the National Military Academy of Afghanistan, graduating 17th in a class of 34. He would immediately be sent to the fighting with Al-Qaida and Taliban forces, spending the next 12 years of his life engaged in combat with them. In 2015 he would join the ANA Commandoes as a Commando officer, and take command of a unit of these elite fighters. His tenure would see great success against Taliban forces. So much so that the Taliban nick-named him د کندهار شیطان, or "The Devil of Kandahar".

However his term with the ANA would end sooner than he would've liked. In a deal with the Afghani government, Kaamil was honorably discharged from the ANA and sent to the United States, where he would join the Green Berets under the Immigration and Nationality Act. However the Green Berets was not the end goal that the U.S Government had for Kaamil. The Central Intelligence Agency had set their eyes on him, and in 2020 he would be recruited to join the Special Operations Group.

Biography:
Quinn's early life has few points of note, he came from a lower-middle-class family that lived in the Alum Rock neighborhood of San Jose, California. His childhood seemed to have been pleasant enough with his father working as a municipal garbage collector and his mother a nurse at Regional Medical Center. At school Quinn was a mostly C and occasionally B student who showed an aptitude for history and English courses. The first clear point of interest in his life is the death of his parents in 2009 during his first year of high school. At the time of their deaths, he was attending James Lick High with his best friend at the time Nazanina Ghani, whose family took both Quinn and his sister in after the "incident". The incident itself is particularly unfortunate, a workmate of Harry's father had loaned him two thousand dollars to help with Harry's Sister Jasmine's medical bills and after several months of being unable to pay the workmate back a fight broke out when that workmate came to the Quinn household to finally collect. The altercation eventually escalated to a point where the workmate got a pistol from his car to threaten Mr. Quinn but went sideways when, in a struggle, the gun went off and shot Mrs. Quinn in the head. Needless to say, the fighting only got worse and only ended when Mr. Quinn was also shot and killed. Both of the Quinn children were out that night, Harry with Nazanina and Jasmine with friends, and had to be found and informed by the police.
The families had been close for a long time through Harry and Nina's friendship and Hamid and Sahraa Ghani adopted them both when no other next of kin for the children could be found.

Quinn enlisted in the Army directly after graduation with his adoptive parent's blessing, college was not something Quinn felt he would have taken to well and trade school wasn't an attractive option either on the same grounds, and Hamid and Sahraa privately hoped that the Army would help give him a sense of belonging that would help transition him in adapting to his adult life. Quinn went through BCT at Fort Benning and by all accounts was a perfectly average recruit, remembering something his father had told him a long time ago, "Do what they tell you, when they tell you, how they tell you, and don't stop until they tell you." Quinn's time in the Army's medic training program was a bit more difficult for him, but he managed to pass near the head of his class.

After training, Quinn was deployed to the 82nd Airborne's 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment, attending Jump School and proposing to Nazanina in between his graduation from DCMT and his posting in the 504th. He was soon deployed with a large portion of the 504th to Afghanistan's Ghazni province. He served the tour well, often volunteering to attach to patrols that he wasn't explicitly ordered to accompany and making quite the impression with his superiors in the 1st Battalion's BAS. On his return home after his first deployment, he married Nazanina and they moved to housing at Fort Benning. During this time, Nazanina applied to Columbus State University shortly afterward and enrolling in CSU's "College of Letters and Sciences" Robotics Engineering program. Quinn would deploy to Afghanistan again, though this time the 504th would act in a reserve role based out of Bagram, and during this time he became interested in joining the Army SF after interacting with the SFG members who would come through the base.

Quinn struggled with his initial phases of the Q Course though he did manage to pass onward. During Phase I, found his element again, displaying a willingness to learn any and all material provided. During Phase II he was initially assigned Spanish (Note: Catagory 1 language) though when he indicated he was already fluent, passed the Oral Proficiency Interview, and requested a different language course he was reassigned to Vietnamese and went on to pass Phase III without incident.

Quinn made an impression on his instructors during Phase IV, or Robin Sage. The simulated operation's objective was the capture of an enemy officer and rescue of several high-value political prisoners from a camp deep in the North Carolina backcountry and from what I've read it could not have gone worse. The trainee in charge of the operation made several tactical blunders in the leadup to the operation (minimal recon of approach routes, no recon of objectives, arguments with volunteer Guerilla commanders over assault tactics, and dismissive attitude to guerilla recommendations regarding the planned assault), and though Quinn spent most of the days in the lead up to the assault treating the civilian volunteer for heat exhaustion and other minor issues, he spent a large amount of time in the arguments, typically in the Guerilla Commanders corner. In the end it fell to Quinn and another trainee he had become friends with, Tarvo, to lead the simulated assault, which the pair achieved with flying colors.

These days Quinn lives in Seattle with Nina, now a mathematics professor at the University of Washington. Ellen, who was born with the same illness as Harry's sister, attends The Bush School and is doted on by Harry and Nina.

Born in Charleston, West Virginia to Danish nationals, Jakob "Miko" Mikkelsen has always been fascinated by the military. Since a young age, Mikkelsen has always wanted to be a soldier and a leader. He's shown great initiative throughout his endeavours, and particularly enjoyed the schematics of operations and supply chain issues. While never really a true leader, Mikkelsen demonstrated quality leadership capabilities when it came to being a "middle man". He was a prime candidate for the military then. Not much is said about Mikkelsen's younger years, and even littler is written down about it.

EARLY MILITARY CAREER - DANISH DEFENCE & JÆGERKORPSET
You could say in fact, that Mikkelsen's life truly began when he finally enlisted with the Danish Armed Forces. At the age of 18, following a successful completion of his bootcamp, Mikkelsen was assigned to an active combat role attached to Afghanistan Danish Battlegroup "Kongemand" (see: Battlegroup "Kongemand" (2001-2015)). Battlegroup "Kongemand" fought against elements of the terrorist group "The Almukhtaryn" (see: The Alumkhtaryn Insurgency in Afghanistan (2001-2021)) throughout Mikkelsen's attachment to the group starting in 2008. While unsuccessful in their missions overall, Mikkelsen demonstrated quality leadership abilities and combat awareness during his time with Battlegroup "Kongemand". During his time with the Battlegroup, Mikkelsen rose throughout the ranks of the Danish military at a rapid rate.

In 2012, following Operation Slanger, Mikkelsen was invited to join the Jægerkorpset, to which he accepted. Educated as a Jægerkorpset and passing their qualifications & training with flying colours, Mikkelsen found himself fighting back in Afghanistan as part of the Jægerkorpset detachment deployed there, codenamed: "Hornsmænd", or Hornsmen. He served briefly with the Danish support of the ANA and Danish regular forces in Operation Bund Ud. Despite an overall strategic failure for the allied forces against the Almukhtaryn, the Hornsmænd Detachment performed spectacularly in their operational objectives, which were the local destabilization of the Almukhtaryn's leadership. With Mikkelsen at the forefront of this, he quickly gained notability within the Jægerkorpset. He would continue to perform special combat operations against the Almukhtaryn in Afghanistan throughout his time with the unit.

CURRENT MILITARY CAREER - TASK FORCE AEGIS
In 2017, Task Force Aegis recruited Mikkelsen as a regular operative for the black ops unit. Partaking in his first Task Force Aegis combat operation in the 2018 Operation Avalanche assassination attempt against al-Riyah, the operation was unsuccessful in overall objective but gained intelligence on hostile organizational elements in Iran, Yemen, and Iraq. Following this, Mikkelsen would continue to serve as a regular operative for Task Force Aegis, taking part in multiple operations with the Task Force.

Throughout his time with the Task Force, Mikkelsen's ability to lead and be an organizing influence within the Task Force's local units became well-known. He was promoted multiple times throughout his service, and has been shifted from active duty to more of a support duty as his experience has become invaluable to the Task Force. Operating as a representative of NATO and as the primary point of contact between NATO High Command, Task Force Aegis Command, and ARCHER, Mikkelsen is no longer expected to actively partake in combat operations unless if his presence is directly required. Otherwise, Mikkelsen is responsible for the procurement of intelligence, briefing of missions, and organization of the overall field combat force.

Biography: Elijah Kasminsky was born in to a marriage that was already breaking apart. The end result of what amounted to a shotgun wedding and a flight across half a province, Elijah Kasminsky's early life was not a good one. While he did his best in school and even exceeded many of his peers in things like Linguistics and Mathematics, and tried to help out around the house, it was never good enough for his father, nor was his mother for that matter. His father was abusive, physically and mentally, and it seemed to double down when Elijah's younger brother was born. Elijah still isn't sure if it was some sort of genetic defect, or a result of abuse as a toddler, but his brother James had motor control issues from a young age, and as Elijah grew older, he started putting himself under more and more strain as he stepped in to take the beatings for his mother and brother. With it being the 90s in rural Canada, child services weren't around a lot, if at all.

One day upon returning home from school, finding his father openly berating and striking his mother, Elijah with an eerie calmness, beat his father to death. Obviously, the RCMP got involved, being the only law enforcement of a town with less than 3000 people, and Elijah was held in jail for a time, and as the investigation resolved, he was ultimately cleared of wrongdoing. Over the next three years, he would graduate, change his name to his mother's maiden name, and enlist in the CAF, more in an attempt to put distance away from his home than in any true dedication to his homeland.

His time in Afghanistan however, is where he changed his mind, for the first time in his life, he felt like he belonged somewhere, with people from all walks of life and experiences. His willingness to volunteer and knowledge of so many people around him was quite possibly the worst thing he could do. Shoehorned in to being one of the few units to remain for multiple rotations, and seeing a veritable revolving door of soldiers wore the man's mind down like a piece of meat in to a belt sander. The man had been absolutely fucked over in to remaining in Afghanistan at one point for 346 days at one point, before the same act that would give him his first Sacrifice Medal would also get him his MMV.

During an ambush in the aftermath of Operation Falcon Summit, Elijah would drag five men out of the burning hulk of an LAV III, suffering severe burns in the process, he never learned the names of the men he saved, but he never felt the need to know either. A part of him had a sense of pride in doing something finally worthwhile, another part of him felt relief that he was finally out of the limbo of Afghanistan. While he wouldn't be medically discharged, he would spend a number of years in the float of peace time. And for some reason he still has yet to fully wrap his head around, he applied for JTF2, and they accepted him for selection. In the years since, he's worked primarily in training roles across Iraq, with a few classified operations under his belt, now he and his team have been plucked and dropped in to an R&D unit.

Biography: Born on one of the many farms of Midwestern Ontario, Steven's life was a life of rural appreciation. His freetime was mostly spent hanging around the family farm or hunting the various pest species living in and around his farm or his friend's farms. Academically he wasn't a shining star, but he wasn't a dolt either, he simply skimmed by on the grades he got and graduated, though a career fair in his final year lead to him being suckered in to joining the CAF.

Unceremoniously shuttered in to an armour unit, most of his first enlistment period was spent doing exercises back home, though he was among the first since the Korean War to deploy in an MBT to a warzone. It was about as exciting as one would expect, fighting the equivalent of country bumpkins in a tank that had more armor than was necessary for the hills of Afghanistan. That being said, it was where Steven learned what it meant to really reach out and touch the enemy. His time as a gunner would be one of the primary reasons he ended up becoming as good of a sniper as he was. Eventually gaining some command experience as a commander for the Leopard 2s loaned to Canada in the latter half of his time in Afghanistan.

With a generally unremarkable level of service with Lord Strathcona's Horse, he would return home to a woman who he had met during his rotations home, and in due time would marry her, though his time away from the military made him feel somewhat hollow, and not too long before his first child was born, he returned to the CAF, applying for JTF2 and passing selection.

He would be assigned to a small team, for Operation Impact for the most part it was unremarkable until May of 2017 where he made his Magnum Opus shot. It involved overwatch on Iraqi Security Forces, a Daesh suicide bomber running at full tilt, and a bullet that traveled nearly ten seconds over two miles. Though the intricate details are still classified, including his name, it still stands as the longest confirmed kill in history. Not too long after that, he was transferred to a sabre team, and more recently, to Task Force Aegis.

Biography: George was born in rural Quebec to a small town teacher and lawyer, his father having served in the Second World War was always quick to promote a sense of duty in the young lad, and as time went on, the young George was instilled with more and more patriotism to his home country. When the time came, George enlisted straight out of Highschool. His early career was relatively quiet, and with a lack of foreign involvements, George was all but free to start a family, marrying in 1986.

In 1987, his career path very rapidly changed as he, along with a number of others in the Van Doos were selected for airborne training and were to be rotated in to the Canadian Airborne Regiment. It's where he would spend the 6 years, managing to escape the worst of the behind-closed-doors fallout from the Somalia Affair, he was drafted to be one of the formative members of Joint Task Force 2. It was around this time he had his second child, and after returning from Bosnia, his third.

The remainder of his career was much more active, a number of tours both acknowledged and not in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Libya. Within the Canadian Special Forces community, George's long term of service and capacity to maintain physical fitness despite his age is legendary, gaining him the moniker of 'Terminator', and at this point in his career, 'Canada's Old Man' is a known factor in the special forces units he has ended up serving alongside. Most recently, he and his team are being sent in to a clandestine black ops group, with a future he is not entirely sure of.

Since this catalytic event, Master Corporal Komissarova has performed well in every task required of her, but has put a severe level of mental and physical strain on herself. A brief period in her early military career lead to some cause for alarm regarding substance abuse but this matter was both overplayed and has resolved itself since.

Biography: Anya did not have a stable early life. Her father had extensive ties to Russian organised crime, and most of her early life was spent bouncing around urban Russia and the Caribbean after the wake of the USSR's collapse. She was given a minor crutch in the form of her mother teaching her Spanish, but her academics were scattered and disjointed for a majority of her childhood. And while her mother cared, her father was aloof to both of them unless there was some sort of social need to parade them around. However organised crime has a bad habit of ending lives early and her father had crossed somewhere in a way he shouldn't have.

In 1999, not too long after returning from Cuba, was their home raided by law enforcement, her mother being shot in a cross fire and her father ending up arrested. Anya was unceremoniously tossed in to the Russian foster system for 4 months, before once again being whisked away, not to some Russian family, no, but across the Atlantic once more, to Canada.

Her life was significantly less hectic from then on. though she had trouble to start learning the various intricacies of English, she was helped along by her adopted brother, Marcus. The young man always stood up for her when the inevitable bullying rolled around. The two grew closer over the next decade, and Marcus was the one who motivated Anya in to getting her pilot's license. When their parents died in 2009 from a car accident, it was just the two of them who were left to grieve, and after that the two saw less and less of each other as Marcus military career kept him away. Anya however had little time for social activity due to her job has a water bomber and news chopper pilot in BC. When her brother died in the line of duty in 2014, she was the last one to stand among the ashes of what her family once was.

It was the catalyst for a deep and resounding mental change. Within a few months, she had quit her job, and had withdrawn to work on a singular goal of making the few people she well and truly cared for unconditionally proud of her, regardless of what their actual thoughts were. Within a year she applied to JTF2 straight out of civil life, passed selection and was placed in to a sabre team, coincidentally, the very same her brother had served in. After a few years of serving alongside them, she's about to be knee deep in black ops bullshit.

AREA(S) OF OPERATION: IDA-VIRU MAAKOND, ESTONIA

BACKGROUND

Starting in 2014 alongside of the various civil wars that have engulfed Eastern Europe, Estonia has struggled with the presence of various warlord bands ravaging their northern countryside. The result has been catastrophic for the Estonian government, where these warbands have seemingly different motives for their existence, ranging from re-unification with Russia, the overthrow of the Estonian government, the counter-actions against pro-separatist movements, and more. As more and more of the country falls into chaos, it is left to the Estonian government and defence forces to fight off this threat.

While the VDVZ, the local armed separatist movement, has been a manageable threat for the Estonian Defence Forces, under renewed leadership it has become quite the handful.

Enter Vasili “The Shark” Turkoshenko, a well-known separatist leader in the VDZV. Turkoshenko has been on Task Force Aegis’ radar for quite some time due to his fanatical leanings of ultranationalism and ability to muster up a movement seemingly out of nowhere. However, there have been indications that Turkoshenko has links to the known terrorist organization: the Almukhtaryn. With this in mind, Task Force Aegis has been assigned a daunting task: destabilize the VDZV by either killing or capturing Turkoshenko.

Cool under pressure: Theo's experience on the battlefield allows him to remain calm in stressful situations. Even when the rounds are flying he can still keep a clear head to plan and execute his battle plans to success.
Weaknesses:
Perfectionist: Theo strives for perfection on missions. Sometimes, this may come at his own detriment or to the annoyance of others.
Stuck in the past: Theo has, like most officers, lost men under his command. Many of these deaths are events he has trouble getting over with. He still remembers the date, time, and cause of death for every operator who has been killed under his command. Biography: Born in Marseille, Theo excelled in athletics as a child. However, his family ensured he didn't let his academics take a back seat to athletics and he excelled in school as well. He was a highly skilled and promising soccer player, until an injury sidelined him at the age of 12. His parents decided it was best if he would stop with sports and take a focus on his academics so he could attend university, something he came to agree with in a surprising amount of maturity. The idea of the military came to him at the age of 17, and he decided he would join the French army as an officer with a goal of making it into special forces.

He served briefly as an infantry officer in Afghanistan, before trying out for special forces. Upon completion of training he was assigned to lead a team in 1er RPIMa, and has done so for the better part of a decade. He has seen combat in a variety of environments, and has become a skilled commander who has a difficult time being outsmarted on the battlefield. In regards to his family life outside of the military, he has been married for 4 years and has a three year old son.

Attention to detail: Pascal's training as a sniper has made him a person who notices small details that others may miss. This can come in the field, interpreting intel, or during operational planning.
Weaknesses:
Family man: Pascal operates under a fear that he may not come home to his family one day. This fear can prevent him from pushing himself to the absolute limits in certain situations. However, it can become a powerful motivator in others.
Old man: While his age relative to most of the rest of his team has its perks, it's not without his downsides. Injuries suffered during service combined with middle age rapidly approaching means he can have trouble keeping up with the young guys.

Fears: Like his commander, Pascal's biggest fear is also that he one day will not come back to his family. As a sniper, he fears that the bullet that kills him will be from an enemy sniper who managed to outsmart him. He's had close calls with hostile snipers in the past, but is sure his luck will run out one day.
Personality: Pascal is a man who enjoys peace and quiet and generally has a quite calm demeanor. Exudes a cool confidence without having to resort to being loud and boisterous about his achievements.

Biography: Pascal is the "old man" of the team, although not much older than Captain LeBlanc. He has been married for 10 years and his children are 10 and 8 years old. He has seen plenty of combat as well and is an effective second in command as a result. However, his age and injuries in service are starting to catch up with him.

Pascal chose to join the military because he had always enjoyed the outdoors as a child. It felt like a natural step for someone who enjoyed hiking in the mountains. He wasn't initially planning on special forces, his initial job as a sniper in an infantry unit was more than enough for him. but was recommended to 1er RPIMa selection by his commanding officer early in his career. Of course, he passed selection and training and was assigned to the unit. For Captain LeBlanc's entire special forces career, Pascal has been his second in command.

Strengths:
Trained martial artist: Mathieu trains and competes in mixed martial arts while off duty, giving him an advantage in situations where combat may need to become more physical and hands on.
Brother in arms: While Mathieu may have trouble forming bonds with others in his civilian life, the opposite is true in his military life. The bonds forged in battle between him and the men and women he serves alongside are extremely strong. He is willing to fight, bleed and die for anyone he serves alongside on the battlefield regardless of their nationality.
Weaknesses:
Poor family life: Mathieu did not grow up in a healthy environment on account of his father's drinking problem and constant arguments between his parents. He maintains a relationship with his mother, but has zero contact with his father. His lack of a proper father figure in life can lead to him having trouble forming close relationships with his teammates until he has worked with them for a significant amount of time. Alternatively, he may try to find his missing father figure in his senior, older teammates which could have disastrous consequences for his mental health were one of them to be severely injured or killed in action.
Overconfident: Like many younger special operators, Mathieu has a tendency to overestimate his skills and capabilities. While this is something he is working to overcome, it can still manage to get him in trouble often at the worst of times.

Fears: While Mathieu certainly fears death on the battlefield, his biggest fear is not, at least directly, combat related. He fears becoming a deadbeat alcoholic like his father. He has sworn off alcohol to try to counter this possibility, but in the back of his mind he always wonders if the stress of combat will force him to the bottle and continue the cycle of substance abuse.
Personality: Like his teammate Pascal, Mathieu also exudes a cool confidence. He is a little more loud and proud of his achievements, but isn't quite on the level of being an annoying boaster. He has trouble forming bonds with new people, although he considers his teammates to be brothers (and one sister) through their bonds forged in the flames of war.

Biography: Mathieu's early life was not what most people would describe as stable. His father had a drinking problem, had trouble holding down a job and was abusive to his mother. This would effect Mathieu to this day, causing him to swear off of drinking for his entire life. His mother finally initiated divorce when he was 16 years old, after his father had been arrested for something or another one too many times. Mathieu, meanwhile, blocked out the chaos of his family life primarily through losing himself into gaming, trying to block out the sounds of his parents having yet another argument with the sounds of the virtual gunshots of his Call of Duty session. He had not been doing particularly well in school on account of his terrible home life. Shortly before his parents divorced, Mathieu decided he would enlist in the army on his 18th birthday, feeling he didn't have many other options.

Mathieu initially served in an infantry unit. He found it rewarding and fulfilling, but not quite enough of a challenge. He started to train in MMA shortly after enlisting to try to find the challenge he was looking for and while he had a fun time doing that, it didn't seem like something that would be particularly fulfilling if he dedicated most of his energy to it. Looking for a more challenging career in the military, Mathieu tried out for special forces one year into his enlistment. He knew immediately that this was the career he was looking for, and gladly struggled his way through the selection and training process. Upon completion of training he was assigned to 1er RPIMa where he has worked with Captain LeBlanc in a team ever since.

Strengths:
Low profile: As a French citizen of Tunisian descent who considers Arabic and French to both be their native languages, Hala is able to blend in throughout large swathes of the MENA region. She has received additional language training in Kurdish and Persian to further this capability.
Calm under pressure: Directing airstrikes and artillery fire requires someone to keep calm in often highly stressful situations, lest the tell the aircraft supporting them to bomb their own position by mistake. Hala is able to keep her cool in most situations thanks to her JTAC and forward observer responsibilities.
Weaknesses:
Inexperienced: Hala has seen by far the least combat out of her teammates and doesn't have the same battlefield smarts as them. She may have the same training but this can only go so far upon contact with the enemy.
Under-confident: While her teammate of a similar age, Sergeant Girault, may be overconfident in his abilities, Hala has a tendency to under estimate herself. Even with her training she still second guesses herself and wonders if she's truly in 1er RPIMa for her skills and capability, or was merely brought on as part of a diversity drive mandated by politicians who had never set foot on a battlefield.

Fears: Beyond the obvious fears associated with combat, Hala's biggest fear is making a mistake that gets the wrong people killed. This could come in the form of a mistake in a firefight, or more commonly she fears giving the wrong grid reference to an aircraft or artillery battery and dropping a fire mission on a friendly position or innocent civilians. Biography: Hala is the youngest child of Tunisian immigrants. Her family were certainly not wealthy by any stretch but they were able to make do and provide a better life for their children than they otherwise would have been able to do in Tunisia. As a child, Hala saw that her family and people like them were treated differently by many of the native French. The stereotypes of the lazy immigrant hit especially hard, with her knowing the long hours her parents worked to let their kids have a better life in France. She decided to join the army to give back to the country that has given her two older siblings success, and to prove the stereotypes towards immigrants wrong. Her family were initially opposed to any of their children, let alone one of their daughters, joining the military. However, with their relatively progressive attitudes they eventually gave in to the idea knowing they wouldn't stop her anyway.

Hala's initial job in the military was a JTAC for conventional forces. However, he time in conventional forces wouldn't last long as she was given the opportunity to try out for 1er RPIMa, which was looking to fill some vacant JTAC and comms specialist positions with personnel who had already gone through the training. While she certainly wasn't the fastest or strongest in her selection class, she had the determination to not fail and show what she was capable of. After completing training, which in her case also included cross-training as a forward observer for artillery, she was assigned to Captain LeBlanc's team.

His father retired after his younger siblings Dalmas and Anisa were born to be closer to his family. His family did well for themselves but, Mezian and his younger siblings would be bullied for having foreign names and being Muslim. Which Mezian would end up in a couple of fights because of this and would often defend his younger siblings from being bullied. Still, he would make some friends and enjoy things.

By the time he graduated high school, Mezian did not know what he wanted to be. Unsure of his future and it was his father that suggest he join the military. As he had fond memories while in the Foreign Legion and thought that military life would be good for Mezian. After some thinking about it, Mezian would agree and would enlist in the army. Almost immediately being sent out to aid the Malian Army in the Mali war. Spending his time in Africa and then the Middle East. Mainly Afghanistan and it was after his deployment to Afghanistan that he was approached by recruiters noting his skills and wanted him to join the 1st Marine Infantry Paratroopers Regiment. Which after thinking about it, he accepted and went through the training. After done with training and now a full member of the Regiment. Mezian would spend the next three years between Mali and Afghanistan before resting a bit in 2022.

It was here that Mezian was approached by Task Force Aegis and thought that he could do more with the group than he could with the Regiment. So he accepted and though he has only been with the group for a short while. Mezian is ready to give his all.

BACKGROUND

Preamble: On November 27th 2021, a raid by Polish JW FORMOZA on a cargo ships suspected of participating in human trafficking operations off the Polish coast resulted in the retrieval of sensitive documentation regarding shipping and receiving of both ordinary shipping and contraband shipping in to Western Europe by sea. Of the twenty three individuals arrested, nine died in custody before being interrogated and one was hospitalized, all committing suicide (or attempting to) via potassium cyanide capsule located in a hollow molar. Those who died or were hospitalized were not found in any records in any national identification base by the EU, NATO, or Five Eyes. The sole survivor was interrogated following international law, and brought context to to the packages and documentation received during the raid. Supposedly, 3rd Party Russian Ultranationalists are seeking to destabilize Western Europe via mass importation of materiel and weapons to noted radical groups.

In the following 4 months, GSG-9, JW FORMOZA, SAS, and KSM also raided and seized vessels either in int'l waters or in port with similar manifests and status of crew. While ringleaders have not yet been found and proper organization has yet to be understood, terminus locations for these shipping operations and the names of cover corps have been found with regularity.

Proceedings: Task Force Aegis has thus been given operational jurisdiction over the sustained shipping of contraband from former eastern bloc and TEA nations and the subsequent investigations.

There are four docks and three warehouses in Westpoort, Amsterdam; Tilbury, London; and Wilhelmsburg, Hamburg that are most commonly found to be the reception points, but not the sending point.

Task Force Aegis' primary tasks are as follows:

Understand the enemy. They are known to be blank slates in almost all cases, very few have any form of record in EU, NATO, or Five Eyes databases. Marginally more pop up in Interpol nets, but Interpol aren't exactly our friends for stuff like this. Thus we cannot rely on them. Any information regarding organisation names, callsigns, identification, lodgings, and any form of personal documentation of any kind is a must.

Capturing sensitive documentation is a must. In all cases a majority of documentation has been destroyed at the beginning of the raids prior, before it could be retrieved. Shipping manifests, operational procedures, cover company names, packing labels, and photographic evidence are but a small list of things to keep an eye out for.

Should OPFOR attempt to smuggle in materiel classed as or capable of making Weapons of Mass Destruction beyond a reasonable doubt, direct action is to be required immediately, and armed intervention will be required.

Task Force Aegis' secondary tasks are as follows:

Capturing an enemy without their successful usage of methods of suicide to prevent interrogation are needed to obtain contextual information regarding documentation. Though the risk of capturing an enemy alive without raising alarm is the primary reason as to why this is not a necessary measure. The safety of our operators and the ongoing effort to combat this threat without being compromised is a higher priority.

Tracking shipment processes to find a proper terminus for arms and materiel moving in to the respective countries is desired by their respective intelligence communities to better track and excise potential threats to public safety. Due to nature of both digital and HUMINT tracking, doing so puts a risk on the clandestine nature of the operation.

While the overall operation is at the discretion of team leaders, covert operations of a HUMINT, IMINT, or SIGINT nature are strongly suggested. Unless teams are sure beyond reasonable doubt that they can capture and obtain the information required before it is destroyed. Do not cause open firefights in the streets, and exercise caution, these are civilian areas.

It is known that weapons and materiel are being shipped to unknown contacts in country. At this time it is unknown who they are, what their goals are, or what their true allegiances are. It is suspected to be several different groups. Remain cautious, as it is unknown at this time if any of these receivers are hostile to BLUFOR as a whole, local governments, simple criminals, or just sting operations.

BACKGROUND: The Arakan Army has been leading an insurrection against the government of Myanmar since the early 2000's, but recently things in Myanmar have become even more unstable than they already were after the military lead a coup against the democratically elected government of Myanmar.

Normally this wouldn't be a TFA, or NATO problem. But recently the Tatmadaw has been receiving a large amount of weapons, supplies, and military vehicles. This equipment is believed to be of Russian and possibly Chinese origin, which hints at TEA and maybe BFEA involvement in the conflict. More disturbingly, reports of come in from Myanmarian insurgent groups that they have been encountering enemies who are not affiliated with the Tatmadaw. Now these could just be regular paramilitaries that the Tatmadaw has brought in, but reports suggest high quality training and equipment.

This is where TFA comes in. NATO wants to know who is selling arms to the Tatmadaw, and who is sending in military personnel to support them.
