BM-82 Mortar

Postby Lauzanne » Mon Sep 20, 2021 2:32 pm

BM-82 INFANTRY MORTAR

Image

OVERVIEW

With mortars being organic to any decent infantry unit, the old 2B14 Podnos mortars from the Soviet era were nearing the end of their lives in the 2000's era, having seen constant use through two wars. Although 82mm ammunition is produced in Lauzanne, the time called for a new mortar developed and manufactured indigenously.

the BM-82 is another Blanchard Manufacturing product, a mortar with lighter weight, faster takedown/setup, and easier transportation compared to it's successor, it has enjoyed popularity in the LDF for these very reasons. As of 2021, there are six mortars per infantry battalion.

BM-120 Heavy Mortar

Postby Lauzanne » Mon Sep 20, 2021 3:00 pm

BM-120 HEAVY MORTAR

Image

OVERVIEW

For the LDF, many units had organic 82mm mortars but the heaviest piece of artillery in use was the 2B9 Vasilek automatic mortar. With studies of Western equipment and captured examples of the 2S12 Sani mortar in the Refusal War, a 120mm mortar was drawn up for mechanised units and other infantry to use when the situation called for heavier mobile firepower that didn't warrant deployment of howitzers.

the BM-120 is the heaviest mortar in LDF service, with a maximum range exceeding 7km. Western standard ammunition is used, an interesting change for the normally Russian-derived Lauzannean equipment.

Karabin Norova Mod.21 Carbine

Postby Lauzanne » Fri Dec 17, 2021 12:55 pm

KARABIN NOROVA MOD.21 CARBINE

Image

OVERVIEW

While the AN-21 was able to serve most infantry needs handily, the same could not be said for tankers, vehicle crews and other branches that needed a compact rifle for self defence. While the AKS-74U had served faithfully since the late 70's, having the main service rifle adopted without a carbine would complicate the supply chain significantly. Thus, the Karabin version was developed and released to units alongside it's rifle and LMG counterparts.

First seeing field testing in the final weeks of the Spring War, the Karabin was later accepted into service in early 2021 alongside the rifle and LMG. Being issued to vehicle crews, tankmen, air crews and other specialists where weight reduction is important, the rifle has been viewed positively despite the added complexity of the weapon system. Full replacement of the system in the LDF's small arms stocks is likely to take until 2026.

Retaining the same balanced recoil system as the rifle and LMG, it allows for users to lay down accurate suppressing fire with a very compact system, or for rapid follow-on shots against attackers not in cover.

Provisions are made to mount grenade launchers as well as bayonets at the user's discretion. Rifles can be sold in either the AN-21-5 (5.45x39), AN-21-6 (5.56) or AN-21-7 (7.62x39) configurations. The barrel is threaded, allowing for replacement by a rifle grenade muzzle or suppressor.

Pulemyot Norova Mod.21 Light Machine Gun

Postby Lauzanne » Fri Dec 17, 2021 1:03 pm

PULEMYOT NOROVA MOD.21 LIGHT MACHINEGUN

Image

OVERVIEW

Rounding out the selection of Norova rifles on offer, the Pulemyot fulfils the role of the Squad Automatic Weapon (SAW) and slots in with the RPK series of weapons in terms of role, design and function. Used by the LDF at the squad level for closer-range engagements that don't need the Raikka, paratroopers, reconnaissance teams and special forces, the PN-21 fills the gap between the assault rifle and the Raikka GPMG in service.

Fitted with a lengthened heavyweight barrel and gas system, the PN-21 boasts increased range and accuracy to 800m against point targets. Loaded with the steel-tip A5-3S ammunition gives enhanced armour penetration and terminal ballistics, along with tracer ammunition to allow for easier adjustment of fire. 90 round drum magazines are typically fitted for this fashion, allowing a high volume of fire in a relatively lightweight weapons system.

Magazines include the 30 round standard magazines, along with being reverse-compatible with all AK-74 magazines as well as a newly developed 90 round drum magazine.

AMR-14A Precision Anti Materiel Rifle

Postby Lauzanne » Mon Dec 20, 2021 5:59 am

AMR-14A "CROSSBOW" PRECISION ANTI MATERIEL RIFLE

Image

OVERVIEW

With the need for an anti-materiel rifle presenting itself in the early 2000's, the disparate stocks of .50 BMG and 12.7 or 14.5mm rifles made for the Refusal War needed to be streamlined. Developing the intermediate 14x108mm cartridge and 20x100L rounds from a shared parent case, the new round offered high velocities and an increased bullet weight over .50 BMG while reducing the immense recoil of the powerful 14.5x114. A competition was announced with three companies entering. The Zawisza-Lanik AMS-14, the Federalini Zbrojovka SAMR-14/20, and the Vozh Precision "Crossbow", as shown here.

Ivan Vozhov is considered by many to be either an eccentric madman, or a misunderstood genius. Primarily producing automotive components and match-grade parts for various rifles and pistols along with whole sporting rifles and pistols for civilian use, news of the contract lead to him and his team to work on designing their own entry, challenging the "Big Two" of weapons manufacturing in Lauzanne. Being a noted enthusiast for firearms and collector of many large anti-materiel rifles, Ivan personally lead the design work for the "Crossbow". When unveiled in the competition, Ivan was the one to initially demonstrate the rifle, and in stark contrast to the other two rifles shown, had an impressive capacity and excellent precision. Of note is the rather famous photograph of the first unveiling, where Ivan shot the rifle in a prone position while the rifle was fitted with an immense 20 round drum magazine.

Although lacking the lighter weight of the ZL offering and the compactness of both, the immense precision displayed with non-match grade ammunition impressed the Army, and it was adopted alongside the ZL AMS-14 into the Army. Although employed in limited numbers, the FZ offering was considered the weakest of the three due to high expense and lacking in some features compared to the other two on offer. Having served in Afghanistan and the Spring War, the now AMR-14A boasted impressive precision and destructive power when used to engage fortifications, equipment and vehicles used either by the Insurgents or the Red Star Movement. In one particularly interesting circumstance, a sniper within the 33rd Guards H. Mech. Btn managed to engage and destroy a T-72's primary gun sight at 1,620m using precision API ammunition. Such a rifle finds itself the favoured weapon for many operations, with the saving grace of the AMR-14 being its 25mm conversion.

The Crossbow is built for precision and recoil mitigation, utilising a detachable barrel for changing calibre or for easier transportation. The rifle uses a short-recoil system to cycle the weapon, augmented by shock absorbers in the rear of the receiver and a large muzzle brake to allow for less felt recoil when firing repeated shots. A thick shoulder pad and an adjustable cheek rest that can be reversed for left handed shooters is fitted, and for stability there is an adjustable front bipod and rear monopod to allow for precise adjustment of elevation. The barrel is free-floated and made of a heat-resistant steel to ensure precision even on repeated shots. A long Picatinny-standard rail allows for the fitting of a wide range of optics and additions including night scopes, and two magazine types are offered with the rifle: A 10-round double-stack magazine, or a 20-round snail-style drum for extended shooting from a static position.

The Crossbow is also offered in the following calibres: 12.7x108, .50 BMG and 14.5x114. Customers who purchase the rifle will receive a hard case and soft case with the rifle, extra barrel, one drum magazine, two box magazines, a scope, cleaning kit and tools.

AGS-32L "Belka" Automatic Grenade Launcher

Postby Lauzanne » Wed Dec 22, 2021 4:26 am

AGS-32L "BELKA" AUTOMATIC GRENADE LAUNCHER

Image

OVERVIEW

Owing to the Warsaw Pact roots of the LDF, the automatic grenade launcher concept plays a major role in battalion operations on the offensive and defensive. When deployed to Afghanistan, the LDF made significant use of the AGS-17 Plamya and the AGS-30 Atlant to suppress insurgent positions, destroy targets in defillade and remove cover used by the enemy. These weapons got so popular among the Airborne infantry posted to Afghanistan until 2013 that any patrol or convoy would almost refuse to set out with at least one on a vehicle. However, lack of standardised parts between the two weapons and a lack of AGS-30's due to deteriorating relations with Russia. In the late 2000's, a new contest was put forward to replace both launchers with a new indigenous 30x29mm AGL. The weapon is named after the Belka River in northern Lauzanne, a place which saw some combat with these very weapons.

Blanchard Manufacturing won the contract with a fairly orthodox design, taking the lessons learned from the AGS-30 and applying it with a few ergonomic changes. Retaining the same form factor as the AGS-30, a newer tripod with adjustable height was developed along with a carry handle containing the weapon sights and a muzzle brake was fitted to reduce recoil in the gun. The same drums from the AGS-17 and 30 are compatible when purchased in 30x29mm, allowing for a belt of 29 rounds to be carried and utilised.

Although only issued to the 1st and 3rd Divisions at the outbreak of the Spring War, the Belka soon found it's way into the hands of other units engaged in active fighting. The weapon proved itself, well, with the carry handle being cited as a major reason many soldiers were able to leave a firing area so easily and escape return fire. Testing of optical sights with airburst capabilities was carried out and utilised in a limited fashion in the War, with results coming back positive.

The AGS-32L is also offered in 40x53mm HV NATO grenades should a country want a lightweight, portable and effective AGL.

Zl-BRX Battle Rifle

Postby Lauzanne » Fri Jan 28, 2022 3:59 pm

ZL-BRX BATTLE RIFLE

Image

OVERVIEW

As part of the ZL-RX program started by Zawisza-Lanik, the design was scaled up to accommodate full power ammunition. Classed as the ZL-BRX, the initial design called for compatibility with 7.62x54R and 7.62x51, with two different upper receivers allowing for quick interchanging. Seeing use in the GWOT through soldiers stationed in Afghanistan, the soldiers gave positive feedback regarding the lowered recoil compared to the SVD rifles that they had often found themselves using. The rail and lighter weight were also boons to marksmen on patrol, the rifle soon after entering full adoption in the late 2000's. However, it's true test was the Spring War, the same of many other Lauzannean weapons. Marksmen, scouts and snipers all used the weapon to great effect in a variety of roles, both suppressed and unsuppressed.

At a glance the rifle would appear to be similar to the AR-10 pattern rifles such as the SR-25, or something akin to a HK417. However, the rifle shares little in the way of common parts, with 7.62x51 magazines only swappable between itself and the HK417. Later receivers are also chambered in the Lauzannean 8x56mm LDS round, with higher power and flatter trajectory.

The Crossbow is also offered in the following calibres: 7.62x54R, 7.62x51mm NATO and 8x56mm LDS. Customers who purchase the rifle will receive a soft case with the rifle, four box magazines, a scope, cleaning kit and tools, along with a 12" and 16" barrel and suppressor. Additional upper receivers and magazines can also be ordered.

SVN-22 Designated Marksman Rifle

Postby Lauzanne » Fri Jan 28, 2022 4:23 pm

SVN-22 DESIGNATED MARKSMAN RIFLE

Image

OVERVIEW

With the success of the AN-21 and it's cousins in entering LDF service, the designer of the rifles turned his eye to the designated marksman role. Traditionally using the SVD and the ZL-BRX, Norova instead believed his design could be scaled up and challenge these two standby rifles, using his refined balanced recoil system and ergonomics.

With a stretch and an enlarging, the SVN-22 uses new waffle-style magazines for both 7,62x51 NATO and 8x56mm rounds, but the traditional Dragunov magazines can be utilised with the 7.62x54R calibre rifle. The barrel has been enlarged, along with the gas system to handle the increased pressures. The barrel itself is a heavy-profile one, allowing for greater accuracy.

The SVN-22 is also offered in the following calibres: 7.62x54R, 7.62x51mm NATO and 8x56mm LDS. Customers who purchase the rifle will receive a soft case with the rifle, four box magazines, a scope, cleaning kit and tools, along with a 12" and 16" barrel and suppressor.

FZ-6 Next Generation Assault Rifle

Postby Lauzanne » Sat May 28, 2022 10:09 am

FZ-6 NEXT-GENERATION ASSAULT RIFLE

Image

OVERVIEW

Running concurrently to the development of the AN-21 assault rifle, the VINTOSKI 30 program sought to investigate possible avenues for future rifle concepts to supplement or replace the AN-21 family in standard service. Federalini Zbrojovka supplied the FZ-6, competing against the CTAS ZL-7KTX and the VP-6A.

Originally developed in 5.45 to replace the AK-74's in Lauzannean service, it's rejection for the AN-21 lead to the project being shelved or considered for later export. With the early days of the VINTOSKI 30 program, the idea was made to rechamber the rifle to take a larger round, with the team settling on the old Soviet 6x49mm Unified.

Of the three entrants, the FZ-6 is the most conventional as far as assault rifles go. The FZ-6 is a polymer body, bullpup assault rifle with ambidextrous controls that can be chambered for the 6x49S steel-case HV ammunition, 5.45x39 ammunition shared with the AK-74, or 5.56x45 common to NATO weapons. The charging handle is non-reciprocal and switchable for a left or right handed user, and the fire selection and magazine controls are both ambidextrous. Although no set optics are in place on the depicted rifle, the top section can be removed with two pins to replace with a top rail that has an integral iron sight should the customer require.

An optional sight can come with the rifle, the XO-VMS. Conceived with help from the Thales Group, examples were issued to all three rifles for testing and configured with the specific rifle's ballistics. The XO-VMS is a combined day/night optic to allow for stronger interoperability with the squad in combat conditions, as the scope comes with a day, night and thermal optic mode. Ballistic calculation can be done via the laser rangefinder and small meteorological sensor, allowing for real time firing solutions. The scope can be seen through the eyepiece or a cabled display that attaches to a helmet, allowing viewing around corners. In addition, squad and platoon commanders can see through the scopes if they are connected to the local battle management system.

Although 40 years old at this point, the steel-case 6x49S is a very high velocity round developed in the Soviet Union, initially to replace the 7.62x54 in it's marksman rifles and machine guns. Although the barrel life was a concern within Soviet service, the new knowledge about materials science and manufacturing has lead to an increased barrel life of 6,000 rounds per barrel. Capable of penetrating level IV body armour, at up to 400m, the 6x49S has a very flat trajectory to give it's operator the easiest time possible when shooting.

Powerful, practical and accurate, the FZ-6 is just one glimpse at what future rifles may be like.

VP6 Precision Rifle

Postby Lauzanne » Sat May 28, 2022 1:28 pm

VP6 PRECISION RIFLE

Image

OVERVIEW

Although a newcomer to the Lauzannean MIC compared to the two larger firms of ZL and FZ, Vozh Precision has still managed to attain upsets in arms contracts, such as the AMR-14A "Crossbow". Hearing of the VINTOSKI 30 project, Ivan Vozhov opted to join the contest.

Vozh Precision is also no stranger to ammunition, with it's own ability to manufacture rounds. Past development into wildcat ammunition has lead to the creation of 6x46VP. Taking technical notes from the SIG .277 FURY, the 6x46VP is a high pressure, high velocity round with a large steel tip and core to penetrate NIJ Level IV body armour. To keep the casings from exploding due to the high pressures required to launch the round at up to 1,000m/s on the full size barrel. Developed in part for hunting medium game with a low bullet drop and less lead time needed, 6x46VP could also see significant use as a marksman rifle cartridge.

The VP6 is rather unusual when seen as an assault rifle, with an adjustable stock and cheek rest normally seen on marksman rifles. However, the VP6 is also offered in marksman rifle form with the VP6M, which can be considered the rifle's true role and design. Standard ambidextrous controls and Picatinny rails for mounting optics and accessories. The main advantage of either rifle when used in a marksman configuration is high precision, penetrating capability, and compact frame owing to it's bullpup design. For this end, it has attracted the interest of Lauzannean special forces and counter-terror units, who may find a use for the rifle in a world that sees terrorists get better armed with each year.

Accurate, powerful and compact. Although unlikely to be adopted by the Army as a standard service rifle, in specialist and niche roles the VP6 undoubtedly shines.

ZL-7KTX Assault Rifle

Postby Lauzanne » Mon Jun 06, 2022 1:44 pm

ZL-7KTX ASSAULT RIFLE

Image

OVERVIEW

Existing almost as long as the country has, Zawisza-Lanik has manufactured arms for civil, government and military use since 1985. Perhaps the largest contract that put them on the map is the ZL-2000 handgun, coloquially referred to as the "Annie", and the company has produced many more firearms for the Armed Forces since.

Working on a prototype jokingly referred to in-house as the "P91", the rifle was designed to use a compact 7x52 cased telescoped round, whereby the case telescopes over the bullet rather than it protruding. This allowed for a very compact rifle while retaining a long barrel and high muzzle energy, making the rifle very capable at penetrating body armour. The addition of the XO-VMS scope allowed the engineers to regularly hit targets at 500m.

The most distinctive feature of the ZL-7 rifle is it's top mounted magazine. Much like the P90 that came before it, rather than using a traditional double-stack box magazine, the ZL-7 is fed through a top-mount magazine that rotates it's rounds into position. Although more complicated than a traditional magazine, it allows for a high capacity to be carried in a relatively compact space, suiting the rifle for mechanized infantry, urban combat and stationing aboard ships.

Powerful, compact and future-proof, the ZL-7KTX is a powerful contender, and one apparently already eyed up by the Naval Infantry as their future rifle of choice.

L-12D Rocket Launcher

Postby Lauzanne » Tue Jun 14, 2022 4:40 pm

L-12D Rocket Launcher

Image

OVERVIEW

The SPG-9 is a venerable gun that has served the LDF for 60 years, and while it is likely to remain in service for come more time, it's replacement was sought as soon as the year 2000. Reaching out to China due to interest in the PF-98 rocket launcher, some technology was transferred that allowed the L-12 to exist. Entering service in 2010, the launcher quickly gained popularity with anti tank and weapons crews for it's drastic weight reduction over the older SPG-9.

The L-12D is the latest in the line of launchers, sporting an all-new composite body with rubber roll-stoppers to allow a massive weight reduction to 9kg with the FCS attached. The FCS contains a laser rangefinder, thermal imager and meteorological sensor to allow the gunner to lay down accurate fire, program the MP munitions and put an accurate lead on moving targets. Firing can be done via shoulder launching, but can also be operated via a tripod attached to the rear of the launcher to allow for even weight distribution.

Munitions include a tandem HEAT, HE, Bunker Buster and programmable Multipurpose munition. This allows a gunnery crew a wide range of munitions to deal with all current targets, from main battle tanks to other AFVs, fortifications and infantry. Their relatively light weight enables a crew of three to carry the launcher, tripod, and six rockets unassisted by vehicle, making it great for light infantry or airborne forces.

FZ-SP6 Offensive Handgun

Postby Lauzanne » Sat Jul 09, 2022 1:59 pm

FZ-SP6 OFFENSIVE HANDGUN

Image

OVERVIEW

With the proliferation of body armour in uniformed armed forces around the world, the same was true for paramilitary and terrorist groups both worldwide and domestic. Federalini Zbrojovka, in co-operation with the Common Territories, developed the 6x28mm specialist round to better deal with body armour for small weaponry such as handguns and PDWs.

Supposedly developed for the unacknowledged Razvedka special forces of the LDF, the FZ-SP6 is a large, striker fired specialist handgun designed for offensive, special operations and counterterrorism usage. The FZ-P6 comes with a manual decocker, ambidextrous controls and a rotating barrel mechanism to keep the weapon controllable when shooting. An additional laser/light module assists in aiming when the operator is using night vision equipment or requires additional light.

The specialist 6x28mm ammunition is designed to penetrate body armour and maximise terminal effects, with potential adoption as a PDW round for rear echelon soldiers to defend themselves from infantry and other soft targets. Ammunition offered for the weapon is Ball, AP, Subsonic, Hollowpoint and "Spoontip" discarding sabot ammunition, each optimised for a different threat. For standard usage, Ball ammunition is preferred. For covert work, the Subsonic ammunition keeps the weapon quieter. For armoured targets, the AP and Spoontip ammunition are capable of penetrating Level III body armour at close range, and Hollowpoint is intended for unarmoured targets.

Although a weighty handgun compared to other offerings, it's range and stopping power advantages make it hard to overlook compared to smaller options. Whether it be armoured terrorists, rearline echelon raiders or dealing with infantry on the modern battlefield, the SP6 is a decisive weapon in any situation.

FZ MLMG

Postby Lauzanne » Tue Jul 19, 2022 7:01 am

FZ MLMG

Image

OVERVIEW

While a useful weapon for light infantry forces and other specialist personnel, the RPK-74 was seen by the Army as insufficient. Limited use of the M249 in Afghanistan caused a growing desire within the infantry component of the Army to adopt a lightweight belt-fed MG. The unsuccessful attempt to scale down the PKM into the Raikka-L was seen as a black mark against the concept, even through the Spring War. However, FZ engineers had seen the ZL-RX concept and through a small amount of co-operation in a time of war, the concept was set for the new weapon nicknamed the MLMG.

After getting direct feedback from the troops, the aim was to create an LMG with lessons learned from the RPK, PN-21 and Raikka, along with the modularity of the ZL-RX rifles in limited service. Entering limited testing in 2019 after the war, soldiers immediately took to the weapon, sometimes forgoing the larger Raikka to field nearly symmetrical teams with two per squad. In 2022, the MLMG was accepted into service and is seeing adoption by smaller units.

The FZ-MLMG is a modular, multi-calibre light machine gun intended to provide LDF squads with a high degree of suppressive fire in a lightweight package, supplementing or replacing the Raikka GPMG and the PN-21 in the squad-level machinegun role, capable of removing the upper receiver to chamber 5.45x39, 5.56x45 NATO, 7.62x39 or the indigenous 6x46VP rounds. Feeding is achieved by using a belt or by inserting magazines into the side port (not depicted on prototype shown). A long Picatinny style rail along the top allows the fitment of optics depending on end user's needs, with a collapsible stock to adjust to the operator's stature.

The MLMG sees a bright future ahead with the LDF. Perhaps it can also serve in your military as faithfully.

VP12T Tactical Shotgun

Postby Lauzanne » Fri Feb 24, 2023 2:48 am

VP12T

Image

OVERVIEW

Sometimes when facing new problems, old ideas come to the forefront once more.

With the proliferation of drones in the Spring War and other conflicts, development rushed into methods to counter such systems and their seeming omnipresence. Jammers are a viable option for many civilian-grade drones, causing them to halt their path and land where they are, military grade drones often have a system to return to their original launch location. However, such systems are bulky, expensive and often fragile. Other militaries have adopted methods of tracking the user of the drone, and more still have developed anti-drone rounds for shotguns.

The LDF needed a rapidly deployable method that required little additional training, and a quick-fulfilment contract was put out.

Vozh Precision typically manufactures sporting rifles, precision components and their own firearms. Earning respect for winning the anti-materiel rifle contract with the AMR-14A, the designer Ivan Vozhov also manufactured shotguns for police, civilian and tactical use. Although seeing limited employment to scare birds from airfields and some use with the Gotovy, the VP12T was selected from the competitors from FZ and ZL to serve a role as an anti-drone weapon.

Utilising birdshot and #4 Buckshot, the initial deployment of the VP12T to the LDF was originally haphazard with no set doctrine for its employment. In many cases, the shotguns were given to the so called "farmboys" or "Farmgirls" of units, given their experience with similar shotguns. After time, #4 buckshot was preferred as the birdshot lost too much kinetic energy at range to be useful against even civilian drones, while #4 buck was deemed acceptable for the role. Over time, shotguns were issued one per platoon, at the platoon commander's discretion as to who used it.

The VP12T is a conventional tube-fed shotgun firing standard 12 gauge rounds. It is semi-automatic by design, with a bolt handle to charge when the magazine is full and a hold-open when the shotgun is empty. It has a folding stock, as well as a mounting for low power or non-magnified optics to aid in engagement of flying targets or close-range engagements. Rails exist on either side of the grip for the ability to mount lights or lasers as needed.

L-12A1 Rocket Launcher

Image

OVERVIEW

Despite the employment and the use of the L-12D in Lauzannean service, several areas of feedback infantry provided allowed for improvements to be made to the weapon.

Originally intended for a platoon's weapons teams to use, the newly designed L-12A1 allowed for even more weight reduction, almost reaching 8kg with new carbon fibre body and steel barrel linings. The FCS was improved, allowing for a full thermal capability, laser rangefinding and ammunition programming capability. New ammunition types were added and an improved grip and shoulder pad allowed for greater comfort.

Well-liked by crews in the Spring War, the L-12A1 is seeing potential proliferation to be stored in squad-level IFVs and to replace the L-10A1 overall.

ST-12/12 Shotgun

ST-12/12

Image

OVERVIEW

Founded in 2002 as the Global War on Terror began, Satumare Tactical started life selling magazines, sights and other gear to police and military customers. Branching out in the mid-2000's after seeing success, STs new handguns and full-size weapons were popular to many police departments worldwide, with the flagship product being the ST-12/12. Sporting a full-length barrel and twin tube magazines, the ST-12/12 proliferated throughout Lauzanne's law enforcement departments, even seeing some use with the Gendarmerie before the adoption of the GL-20M.

However, as the Spring War and the proliferation of cheap, capable drones plagued LDF units with grenade attacks and constant surveillance, a stopgap program was initiated to shoot down the constant presence overhead of LDF soldiers. Satumare entered a version of the ST-12/12 with the High Bore Sight mandated by the competition. Although a strong contender, it lost to the VP12T due to cost and rate of fire. Nevertheless, it still serves faithfully in many police departments in Lauzanne and worldwide.

The ST-12/12 is a bullpup, pump-action tube fed shotgun with twin-6 round tubes located underneath the barrel. Feeding, ejection and changing the feeding port are all done via the large port rear of the trigger. The stock is adjustable, and the pump mounts a picatinny rail for a VFG.
