Part of what I liked so much about this RP is RPing with Sartana and I just haven't really found any good place to use her since. Not many RPs present opportunities to play into her capacity as both a social and physical brawler.

So! I disappeared again for a second time. I suppose it was probably a mix of the holiday season, sickness and burnout. Regardless I have returned to the wonderful land of Nationstates just in time for the new year. I hope the curtains haven't closed on Red String of Fate, that we haven't closed the book on a story still bursting with potentialities. I'm eager to return as your humble storyteller and OP, if you would have me.

With that said, would you be interested in a revival? Either as a direct continuation of where we left off, or starting from the beginning of the day of the tournament? I'd like to hear y'alls thoughts.

Sartana's almost done with her maneuvering, she was going to try and reassure sister kaja, then after that receive the talking to that Ivan was going to give her.

Apart from that, Sartana was hoping she could better secure Melonie's loyalty by getting her to definitively sever her ties with Olena. Tracking down and isolating Olena so 'the wolf queen' can warm up her 'bite' for tomorrow while Melonie watches her back would be her preferred method.

Indeed, this story has a lot of potential and we haven't told all there is to tell, and I would love to continue with you at the helm. After all, Amina needs to reveal her nature as a romantic soul and as someone, who is not in this for the crown.
...though I would love to have Mari be involved (again) as well, though she is not really a suitor.

That sounds like a solid enough plan. I'm not going to lie though, I kind of feel bad for Olena despite her being a prissy brat I mean she's been punched hard enough to break her nose, will likely end up losing her best friend, most of her other friends and she may get dragged down into Sartana's schemes the following day. For someone like her, day one has probably been the worst day of her life. Can it get any worse? Will Olena emerge unscathed or mentally broken? I'm so curious to find out.

I suppose that might be a bit jarring for the King, since he expects those suitors who have arrived to be eager to arrange a marriage with him (something that he finds pretty uncomfortable, hence his unconscious desire to feel out a connection with the girls that he's interacted with). Maybe it'll be super awkward between them? Maybe it'll end up being pretty romantic? Maybe Sartana or another suitor will somehow wreck Amina's attempt's on the first day? I have faith that it'll turn out to be a good story no matter what route it goes down.

Oh! If you'd like me to unstrike Mari, you can definitely start using her again despite her not being a suitor. I've spent some time designing more characters that are now roaming around the ballroom/palace that can be interacted with, should Mari want that. Or she can enjoy the food, or take a stroll outside the palace. Honestly I'm pretty free-form and I'll roll and adapt to whatever path Mari or another character decides to take.

Yes it is! Though I should mention that we're pretty far into the first day and Ivan is currently, very temporarily removed from the ballroom. Your characters will need to work fast to make an impression on him on day one, lest they be begin day two with no allies or supporters in court. Either way I hope you'll put up an app and join us.

I don't know about mentally broken, but Sartana certainly wants to scathe her some more.

It seems that our party of eight or so has steadily dripped away to about five. While I'm sad to see that happen, it does mean that there will be more time to dedicate to y'all. I'm confident we'll be able to resolve our remaining plot points before moving onto the next day.
