There are two heads of government, the Minister Director (appointed by the Monarch), and the Grandmaster (elected by the Parliament). The full title of the Minister Director is "Minister Director of the Lusogothic Government". The full title of the Grandmaster is "Grandmaster of the National Parliament of Lusogothland". Since the current Grandmaster is actually a woman, Grandmaster is altered to "Grandmistress".

In contrast to municipalities and provinces, the theocracy of the order of Nutbourn only has monasteries with historically connected grounds. The last monastery was founded in 1066 and forms the most important monastery, namely the Harold Godwinson Monastery. This monastery is the most extensive because it was a shelter for Anglo-Saxon believers during and after the Battle of Hasting. The abbot of this monastery (the First Abbot), being its head, presides over the council of abbots, consisting of all abbots of the various monasteries, who together form the executive branch of the Order of Nutbourn, as well as the judiciary, as they judge violations of ecclesiastical law. However, they have no military powers, as these are located in the commandery, which consists of the commanders of each of the monasteries, presided over by the commander of the Harold Godwinson monastery. There are no elections for legislative bodies, nor is there any controlling power, as the authority of the abbots is undisputed, as long as it does not conflict with ecclesiastical law. The persons who fulfill the office of abbot or commander are decided by succession.
