What about Rise of MTG? I thought we agreed that it was going to be a star wars related name.

I forgot about that one.

Rise of MTG it is. It's an all right name.

In the meantime...we actually have a state legislative race to look at tonight....the GOP Byprimary for Arkansas SD-7(Springdale). This would've been completely irrelevant if not for the fact that Jim Bob Duggar is running for it.

#MeToo Man of the Year

SAN FRANCISCO — A half dozen women are suing Tesla alleging the electric vehicle company fostered a culture of sexual harassment at its Fremont, Calif., plant and other facilities, where female employees say they were subjected to lewd comments and catcalling, physically intimate touching and discrimination.

In six separate suits filed Tuesday, women who worked in factory or service center jobs say their male co-workers frequently referenced their bodies and clothing, and some women allege they were moved from their work stations after reporting the behavior.
"...the Republican strategy of disenfranchisement is a state-by-state strategy. It looks like judicial rule where they cannot win. Where they cannot win by judicial rule, they will rule by procedural theft. Where they cannot convince voters to vote for them, they will convince the candidate they voted for to become one of them." - Tressie McMillan Cottom | "...now you have someone sitting on top of the personal data of several billion users, someone who has a long track record of vindictive harassment, someone who has the ear of the far right, and someone who has just shown us his willingness to weaponize internal company data to score political points. That scares me a lot." -- Marcus Hutchins*

His oldest son was the one who got in trouble.

No, that was his son. Normally, I wouldn't care about these people, but the fact that one's running for office and could still win despite all that is worth taking notice.

Okay. You know since Qanon wants to takedown child trafficking and people who do that stuff to children you think they would be demanding that his son be destroyed.

Is there a master list of all prominent politicians/elected officials that have been accused of/involved with this sort of thing? My memory says that they're mostly southern Republicans.

As to that, I don't know.

As to that, I don't know.

Of the top of my head:

Mark Foley (R-FL)
Matt Gaetz (R-FL)
Anthony Weiner (D-NY)
Donald Lukens (R-OH)
Roy Moore (R-AL, candidate)

That's all I can think of at the moment.

Yep. Hastert would technically give Republicans the disadvantage, but I omitted him since they were before his Congressional tenure.

Of course that would be the one thing both parties can agree on.

Well, we don't know for sure who all was with him as of yet. I doubt we ever will tbh. I'm just going by what I can gather. I mean sure, there was Clinton in all likelihood, but the discussion was more Congressional in nature.

There is one in Connecticut as well along with Iowa.

In Iowa it’s senate district one and in Connecticut it’s state house district one sixteen.

We probably know why already. Considering the committee has Meadows texts already, I suspect he's afraid that what those texts could (and will) produce is at the very least, evidence that shows his involvement at best. At worst? Well, let's just say some laws may have been broken...

Anyway, "Need to end this call. I don't think this will be productive for much longer: that was a text sent from an unnamed Georgia Official as the Committee reads more texts. This was during Trump's call to Georgia's Secretary of State. There are other texts from unknown senders too but those names will be released within the coming days or weeks. So far, they apparently have identified only House members that sent said messages to Meadows.
