Sadat grinned and shook the hand of Nazarbayev (or rather, Ali). Like Asim, Muhammad Sadat was an Egyptian man of a brown complexion. He was relatively tall and had a black beard and moustache. Dressed in a grey suit and pants, he was speaking with a man in the market when approached by Hasan Ali.
“Salaamu ālaykum,” he said. “Splendid to meet you.” He motioned his head towards a building across the street.
“Come, we have much to discuss.”
He nodded to the merchant, who then turned to one of his employees. “Watch the stand while I am gone, please. I have business to discuss,” he said with a smile.
“Sure, sir, maāsalaama,” the worker, Saīd, told him.
The merchant, a man with brown hair and light brown skin, walked round the shop in order to be next to Sadat and Nazarbayev and said, “Well, brothers. Let’s go.”

Nazerbayev took a good look at the man, and that was not convinced that the Soviet authorities were doing the right thing. He wasn't especially sure that this largely ordinary looking man will prove to be any bit useful to the authorities, but he was not in a position to argue and so he preferred to remain silent. He smiled as the merchant beckoned them to go, and he spoke in a gentle tone: "You lead the way, sir." After he had done so, he took out a cigarette pack and began smoking as he waited for Saddat and the merchant to take him to the building. He indeed had a lot to discuss, and he knew he had to use the correct words to convince Saddat and his party members. He knew it would be a difficult job and thus he began smoking as he believed cigarette helped him to calm his nerves.

Patting Hasan on the back in a friendly manner, Muhammad and his companion, Ābdur-Razaq, walked with him across the busy street to the building. Knocking on the door, it was opened slightly by someone inside. Seeing who it was, the man inside closed the door. The sound of unlocking could be heard from inside, and the door swung open.
“Muhammad, salaam ālayk,” said the man inside, embracing the Communist leader. He was relatively dark skinned and had hair that indicated his ancestry was likely South of the Sahara. He had a relatively long beard accompanied by a moustache that connected to it. He was wearing a black shirt with camouflage pants, with a red keffiyeh around his neck.
“Wa ālaykum,” Muhammad replied. Carrying out a brief conversation in Arabic, the men went inside, with Ābdur-Razaq following.
Flanked on both sides of the hall were pictures of al-Aqsa Mosque in Palestine and Masjid al-Haram & Masjid an-Nabawi in Saudi Arabia.
As they entered a room, men and women were gathered around speaking excitedly to one another, largely in Arabic. The room was lined with pictures of calligraphy that said “God” and “Muhammad” in Arabic, along with pictures of Mohammed Mossadeq, Patrice Lumumba, Malcolm X, and most surprisingly, Mustafa ibn Sina Abu Jamal himself.

Yusuf picked up the phone. While in his office rather than his meeting room, some of his advisers were in the room, anyway. Then had been drinking tea and coffee, chatting idly as well as planning their next strategy moves. Most prominent on the agenda was a separatist movement in the Maghreb that threatened national unity. But this was pressing as well. Yusuf sat up and put the phone on speaker phone again. His advisers, Marcel Ibrahim, Karim Sulayman and Moshe Msarsa got up, crowding around the phone.
“Hello?” Yusuf said.

On Gaia everyone has a counterpart to Earth. Whether they are alive or dead young or old they have a counterpart. On two places half a world away on Gaia the Insaani Royal Family has their counterparts to themselves.
Hosna Tauqi waited patiently at Sheysabad International Airport along with many others to wait for the world renowned imam Murtaza Arif Ansari. Ansari had been on a missionary trip to West Aprica
and Hosna’s brother and sister Baktash and Vishka were with him. Hosna was an ordinary woman. She was a nurse practitioner at Sheysabad General Hospital. She was devout in her faith and good in her medical practice. However the Tauqi family had a strange secret. The family was a made up of witches and wizards. Vishka was a witch. That’s why the family had sent her away with the good imam in hopes that maybe he could help her. Vishka wasn’t a bad witch she didn’t practice dark magic or anything but the family didn’t like the idea of others knowing that their daughter had strange abilities. Vishka at this point had developed telepathy and could make things move with her mind but otherwise she was human. Her thoughts were interrupted when the crowd began cheering and welcoming back the imam. Behind them the Tauqi siblings. While everyone focused on the imam the siblings came to Hosna and they hugged. “How was your trip?” She asked them. “It was good.” They both said. “I’m glad. Mom and Dad will come to the city tomorrow and pick both of you up.” Hosna said. They then went to her car and drove to her apartment.

Meanwhile in West Aprica, Harun Mohammed was reading the Quran. He read it five times a day after his prayers. Harun was a Muslim Monk living in a monastery in Tbrad. Harun was born in The Kamba and decided to become a monk. Recently Murtaza Ansari came to visit. He was accompanied by a group of people including a peculiar girl who had to be 17 or 18 years old. He sensed something within her. He sensed she was like him. A wizard. Harun didn’t understand how or why he was the way he was. Harun and learned about it during a fight back in high school. The bullies approached him and one of them had a blade. The one with the blade went to slice him and the blade flew out of the bullies hand. Then another went to punch him but the fist completely missed him. And when he looked over another bully came charging at him and the bully was flung against the wall. Harun had done nothing at all. The three bullies then ran away. Harun then shook the memory from his mind when there was knock. “Come in” he said. One of the doormen opened and said. “You have a visitor.” The doorman said. “Who?” Harun asked. “Your cousin, Arhab.” Arhab appeared at the door with a suitcase “Hello cousin Harun.” He said. Harun already knew why he was here. “How long will you be staying?” Harun asked. Arhab laughed and the doormen left the two men alone.

Many high-ranking officers sit around a table, thier eyes fixated on two TV screens, on one a projection of last known positions of New Antarctican ships and airplanes, the other was blank. Meanwhile, James Mercurius was called aboard the government plane by his assistant. He sat infront of a notebook, and after a few seconds, his face appeared on the once blank screen. All officers stood up, as James nodded his head down, the officers sat down. A young officer was in charge of presenting this situation to High Command.

"Gentlemen, in the last few days the Antarctican-Insaanistan situation has escalated. RT-636 Mother of Invention reported activity near the Gibraltar strait. Approximately 18.5 kilometers from the strait, a task force launched a fighter squadron which was picked up by Mother of Inventions radar, with the aim to recon thier southern flank. The aircraft are estimated to be SU-57s. We estimate that these planes were flying very near to Insaani airspace, that´s all we know for now."

"Order the Mother of Invention to keep an eye on the task force, but stay out of engagement range."

"Our aircraft will soon begin thier return flight to Erloane, the supplies have been delivered. I think that preparations on phase 2 should begin shortly, should Insaanistan require further aid." said James

"Sir, what about phase 3 ?" asked a officer

"Insaanistan is being threatened by terrorist and insurgency groups. If they need support, we´ll provide it. I thought about sending the 4th and 7th Railway brigades, 21st and 30th Armored trains, thier railways are few but well maintained, thus they could be used to help deliver the supplies, the question is, would Insaanistan allow our troops in thier nation. Start preparations on phase 2 and on Operation Archangel. I´ll try to negotiate a mandate for our forces." said James

He knew that Insaanistan and its allies had increased there security efforts and he feared what this might bring to Sonakion. However allying with terrorists wasent the way he'd have done it Aderfi thought to himself Worst Aderfi was worried that the taliban might know about Sonakions atheist stance. I'm probably just over thinking it. After all Hardly anyone outside Sonakion knows about Sonakion policies he thought. Despite this there was still a small nagging in the back of Adefis mind that this will end badly. He shouldn't have been picked to do this he anxiously thought.Suddenly Aderfi stopped.

A narrow grimy alley pressed between 2 yellow stone houses. He walked down quickly until he came to a rough metal door situated into the wall of the building on the left. A small window covered by a mosquito net was next to it. Aderci took a deep breath and felt his beard and turban double checking them. He then knocked on the door and did a Insaani taliban signal with his hands which meant don't worry and then another which meant I'm here to talk. He then waited.

“As salaam ālaykum,” he said, not shaking Aderfi’s hand. He led him into the main room, where a bearded Pashtun man was seated, reading Qur’ān.
“Ya mullah,” the Somali man said, “there’s someone here to see you.”
The man looked up at Aderfi, who couldn’t see his eyes because the man wore sunglasses.
“Thank you, Dhaqaneh,” the mullah said. Dhaqaneh left with a nod. The mullah motioned for Aderfi to sit down.
“State your business here, good sir,” he said.

“That seemed kinda racist,” Moshe said, referring to the Antartican’s “chimichangas” comment.
“It doesn’t matter,” Karim said. “I’ll be damned if we let them bully us into firing into Insaanistan.”
“Karim is right, sir,” Marcel concurred. “They will not gain influence over our lands. God forbid, the Maoists be emboldened by them.”
Abdul-Ghafar nodded. Grabbing his coat, he said to his secretary “Alert the media. There will be a press conference in 30 minutes just outside the Presidential Residence.”

One more thing, High Command would like to investigate the possible locations of insurgent camps, thus a plan to send a CTRG unit to Insaanistan has been created. Given that the Mother of Invention carries a CTRG unit, this action could begin within a few hours. It´s just a quick operation, nobody has to know.

The voices commanded him to come to Insaanistan to meet with the Insaani Taliban to enact his plan. His plan was to make his sacrifice to the fire god Ra. It was Ra that commanded him to do this. They were guiding his plan. Daniyal knew what the Taliban wanted to do to Gaia. It was then that the voices commanded him to help them. He planned to make his sacrifice and join Ra during a terrorist attack. You are almost at the compound The voice said. Remember the plan. Ra wants you home with him. You are the phoenix Ra’s servant on Earth and the time has come for the Phoenix to make his final nest and return to where he belongs. “Yes”. Daniyal said to no one in particular. With the Soviet authorities preferring atheist people over openly religious ones, Nazerbayev was an ideal man for them. Thus, as he entered the room, he was in for a nasty surprise.

From the very beginning he was questioning the Soviet authorities' decision to establish contacts with this so-called 'Islamic Communist' group and felt it was a poor decision. At the same time he knew, he had very little say in this matter, and thus he followed orders blindly. Truth be told, Nazerbayev is so blindly Marxist that he considers any self-proclaimed Marxist who even has any softness in their heart for religion. He considered Marx as his only God and no other supernatural creature should be shown reverence to. He is, to a certain extent, an intolerant person in the sense he hates every religion and every religious people. But even a proudly veteran spy like him failed to control his emotions at this moment.

Nazerbayev walked up to Muhammad Sadat, and bluntly asked him, forgetting all the advices on how he should ideally conduct himself before the Communist leader, "Brother, I must ask this question, please don't mind. You claim to be a Communist and a follower of Marx, don't you? Then how can you be so religious? I don't understand how a person can be both a Communist and a devout Muslim. As far as I know, religion and Marx repel each other."

“‘How can these two exist with one another?’” said Muhammad.
“Well, you’ll find Islam especially can coexist with leftist politics, even Communism. In Islam we have zakat, the fifth pillar. We are obligated to surrender this tax to the state. On top of that, we are highly encouraged to give sadaqah, charity. The zakat we pay is used to help create a welfare state. This is not simply our interpretation: it is the example of Muhammad (S) and his companions. The Caliphate of the Rightly Guided Caliphs was a welfare state. There was social security, a minimum income, etc etc. Ūmar ibn al-Khattab (May God be pleased with him) especially. He said “Ashamed should be the ruler who is content to live better than his subjects do.” He nationalized nearly everything, saying it should be owned by the people. When the rich under his successor, Ūthman ibn Āffan, we’re holding the wealth, the people protested, calling for wealth to be redistributed equitably.”

Several railway troops look over thier vehicles being loaded into the same type of planes that previously carried medical supplies. "Alright, all of you know two things, first, I´m Commander Kimball and I´m in charge of this deployment, the second is that we´re going to Insaanistan. Now I can hear all of you thinking, why are we going there, the answer is simple, Taliban, al-Qaeda and others are threatening the distribution of supplies. That means we will be going up and down the Insaani railroads, patroling and protecting supplies. We will land in Muslimbol, the capital, from there we´ll be commanded by the Insaani-Langenian commander. Any questions ?" the hangar was silent. "Excellent, let´s load up, see you all in Muslimbol." said the officer, and the soldiers started to leave the hangar. OCC: How does the taliban know about Sonakions atheist stance? Since Sonakion is relatively unknown and totalitarian I'd have thought it would be difficult to find much about it.

OCC: How does the taliban know about Sonakions atheist stance? Since Sonakion is relatively unknown and totalitarian I'd have thought it would be difficult to find much about it.

OOC: If it’s too godmoddy I can retcon it, but I thought that since 1: IRL, the Maghreb region (where Soniakon exists) has been a hotspot for “al-Qaeda in Islamic the Maghreb” (AQIM) (al-Qaeda being a Taliban ally), I thought the Taliban would be aware of the govt position from al-Qaeda members hiding in Soniakon & surrounding areas and 2: Aderfi said he DOUBTED the Taliban knew of the atheist stance, not that it was impossible for them to have found out.
