One year and nearly two months ago The Sultan of Mosarat, Farhan Hashem made a strange and uncertain journey to Insaanistan. Before even set foot on Insaani soil he had a dream where he witnessed the destruction of Muslimbol and the death of Mustafa. He made it his purpose to save and defend the royal family. To a certain extent he did. He saved Davud from himself however he couldn’t save the city of Muslimbol or Mustafa and sadly of all he couldn’t save the royal family. However now wasn’t the time. Today he his wife and his friend and confidant Dr. Morrison Alton are visiting the grave of Mustafa.
“So long ago it seems.” The Sultan said.
“I know it’s been only year but it seems so long.” The Sultana said.
“The family is dead or missing and those still alive can’t even set foot here.” Dr. Alton said.
“I can remember how pretty the city looked. I remember the people and I remember the palace. I remember the party…” The Sultan’s eyes glazed over.
“It all happened because revolutionaries stormed the palace.” The Sultana said.
“Ever since I came here I have had dreams and that first dream has came true many times over.” The Sultan said. Before long the trio went to the limousine and went to go see the current president of Insaanistan, President Abdul-Gaffar.

The limousine arrived at a now rebuilt Presidential Palace (Renamed “the Presidential Residence”). Abdul-Ghaffar’s guards opened the door and welcomed them in, escorting them to Abdul-Ghaffar’s office. Waiting for them was tea and māmul and bâlawa (baklava). The president stood to greet them, kissing Farhan on the cheek the customary amount of times for Egyptians and shaking his hand, then turning to Queen Nevine and place his right hand on his chest.
“Salaamu ālaykum wa rahmatallah,” he said. “Welcome to Insaanistan once again.”

“Not good,” he conceded with a sigh. “The victors in the civil war downgraded our military, so keeping order is a struggle. As always, Parliament can’t get anything done. And now with Afghanistan fallen, terrorists are emboldened. Allah help us.”

“I know about that and I keep this nation and the royal family, Allah bless them in my prayers. As for the Afghanistan Dilemma, there have been some Afghans that have fled to Gaia specifically Shawlistan the nation that most resembles Afghanistan. Mosarat along with Gaia will continue the fight against terrorism in all its forms.” The Sultan explained.

“Inshallah, inshallah,” Abdul-Ghaffar said. “As for Afghans, we’re swamped with refugees. The UAE and Qatar can’t take them all and so they want us to take them in, despite the fact they know we’re in trouble. At this next Organization of Islamic Cooperation conference, I’ll make sure this is addressed. I normally wouldn’t have any problem taking in fleeing Muslims, but our economy is in free-fall. He pointed to the table, urging them to sit down.

The trio sat down. “I have an idea, if I can convince Prime Minister Nahas and the Mosaratian Parliament Mosarat could begin supplying foreign aid to Insaanistan. I also ask if Mosarat being a Muslim Majority nation could possibly attend the conference.” The Sultan said.

“That would be very much appreciated,” said Yusuf. “Thank you.”
Addressing the question of their attendance, he shrugged. “I’m not sure, actually. While you are Muslim majority, you haven’t actually applied and been accepting into the Organization. Additionally, your nation technically does exist in our frame of existence, or universe, or whatever.”

“How does one apply then?” The Sultana asked. “As for the question of our universes, we have already opened the Warp in Time with Israel Jordan and Turkey so getting to and from the conference shouldn’t be much of an issue. I would say for some of the Muslim leaders this would come as a shock due to my resemblance of former governor of Egypt Gamal Abdel Nasser. You wouldn’t believe the looks I get here sometimes.” The Sultan said. He began laughing at the last part of his comment.

Abdul Ghaffar chuckled. “I imagine so! Especially in Egypt, you give people quite the fright.”
He thought for a moment. “I might be able to get an opinion from someone in the org’s higher ups. Give me a moment.” He rose up, went to the phone on his desk, and dialed a number.

“Hopefully they will allow us in.” The Sultana whispered. “Indeed.” He whispered back. This phone call would be one part of the battle. The other battle would be trying to convince the Parliament to join such union.

He hung up the phone with “Splendid, thank you. Salaamu ālaykum wa rahmatallah.” He turned to the Mosaratian Royals. “They said they’ll review the state and history of your nation and interview you before they make their decision. However, alhamdulilah, this means you’re at least being considered!” He sat back down and began drinking his tea.

“Allah, be praised” The Sultan and Sultana said in unison. “As for the state of our nation our nation is at peace and is one of the Aprican Tigers of the Aprican economy.” The Sultana said. “For our history our history runs parallel to Egypt except for these differences: Mosarat kicked the Woodlawnian occupier in 1922, The Sultanate exists in a constitutional monarchy, and Mosarat is at peace with and has a positive relationship with Kousel the nation most similar to Israel and Palestine.” The Sultan said.

“Allah,” Yusuf said. “The parallels between our world and yours never cease to amaze me.” Finishing the last of his tea, he set the cup down. “Well,” he said, “I’d better return to working, but by all means, finish your tea and sweets before you leave. Salaamu ālaykum.” Standing up, he walked out the door to attend a meeting where he would be briefed on the next foreign dignitaries entering the country, as well as the situation in with the terror problem.

The sultana receives a call, though not exactly stated where said call is from, it does bear the area code of the Sharfari SR
