The Incorporated Football Federation cordially invites football-playing nations of the multiverse to compete in the fifth edition of the NS World Cup of Masters, a tournament intended for players ranging from senior beer leaguers to former World Cup greats seeking one final shot at glory on the pitch.
The format will be similar to the prior three editions of this competition with a double round-robin group stage featuring matches both home and away with the knockout rounds taking place in Sarzonia. The first edition was held entirely in Sarzonia.
Players are welcome regardless of gender, species, etc. The only stipulation is the players must be 35 years old or older, or must be an equivalent age if you use a different measure of time. (For instance, if you have your population live 800 Earth years and the RL equivalent of 35 is 280 years, they can be 280 years old. Conversely, if you use a measure of time where your main species only lives eight years, you might have them be something like three or four years old.]
Puppet Policy
The IFF prefers to have main nations compete for the trophy; however, if it becomes necessary to allow colonial entries, we will notify interested parties in this signup. [OOC: I'd prefer main nations or puppets Sarzonia has a direct history with, but if we need puppets to make numbers work, I'll indicate that in the thread.]
Anaia
The status quo remains in effect for all Anaian countries since the region broke off from Atlantian Oceania. Any Anaian nations who wish to compete shall submit a request to the Department of External Affairs not less than two weeks prior to the start of the competition and must obtain approval.
