[Q] Why doesn’t the [resolution] tag work on the forums?

The title is somewhat self explanatory but yeah, I’m curious why the [resolution][/resolution] tag doesn’t work on the forums but does work gameside. Especially because iirc, the proposal tag works fine on the forums. What is the reason for that? Could it be changed?

NS uses a variant of BBCode, not the normal one.
Altough there is an update of the code in the plans, but it's unclear when that comes.
