The Republic of Mirum (abb. MIR), commonly known as Mirum, is a nation on the continent of North Magnus (also known as Magnus Major) on the world of Terra. Mirum consists of ten provinces, thirty districts, and eighty-six cities. Mirum's capital city is Portmont and its largest city is Eleyta. Mirum is classified as a centrist nation, is a Federal Republic and has a Mixed Economy that is primarily capitalist. All embassies will be located in the Federal District of Portmont or nearby. The seat of power, the Mirian Senate Building, and the Presidential Manor are all located in the Federal District, and so is Embassy Row, where 18 embassies are located. The Portmont International Airport is located five miles in the NE direction outside of the city.
The embassies shown on the map above are numbered not by address, but by plot number. All that is currently on the site of the embassies are empty plots, so when building the embassy, freedom of design may be used as long as the design follows local and international building codes.
NOTE
The Republic of Mirum recognizes Diplomatic Immunity for all staff of embassies and ambassadors. Diplomatic Staff have full diplomatic immunity when on official business, and all other staff have immunity for their official actions and when on the embassy. Weapons are allowed and only limited to personal, non-incendiary weapons. Civilian vehicles, which may be armored, are exempt from local regulations. Military vehicles are prohibited.
