Unless the Patuxent had an upgrade in this timeline, she wouldn't be able to keep up with the Corona II, let alone overtake her, even at full steam. The Kennebec-class oilers have a speed of only 16.5 knots, compared to the Corona's 25 knots (cruising) and 30+ knots (flank).

Also, a ship can't brake quickly like a car, especially not a 21,750-ton tanker. If the Patuxent entered the harbor at full speed, she wouldn't slow down in time to avoid crashing into the dock.

Not really, as she rarely spends more than a few days/weeks at sea, at a time. But the Corona II is indeed capable of refueling while underway, and on longer voyages she'll travel with naval escorts, including a nuclear icebreaker-tanker.

I planned for the festival to run two to three days at most. There is no schedule like "11 o'clock: Aenlin Katz goes on stage.", but a rough idea about what happens when ICly (Aenlin Katz is planned for early afternoon in the Broodeheim Harbour Concert Hall, after Krageelen macht Laune!).

Eiko and Kasem are having a small quibble and chase sequence, but it came to my attention that running in a kimono is a difficult task, and thus Eiko needs some sort of advantage... other suggestions aside from routes work as well.
