A pleasure to meet you all...again. Yes, I imagine meeting DEATH is not something you expected to do again after your untimely ends. But I have use of you. For you see, something quite...unforeseen has happened. A theft. Several hourglasses have gone missing. The living infiltrating my sanctum. This will not stand. IT WILL NOT STAND! As long as they possess their hourglasses, I can do nothing. And that is where you lucky mortals come in. You all met your ends ahead of schedule. And you all possessed rather unique skills that made you excel at ending life in all its splendor. And I am not an unfair entity of the end. Back to earth you will go. And you will hunt down these vermin who dared try and stave off their ends by setting their FILTHY forms within my domain. Do this, and a second chance you will have. Returned to earth to live out your days. But be warned. This is not charity. You are working for me. If you think you can simply run off and live freely when you return to earth? I will reap your wretched soul and sentence you to the foulest pits of the underworld. Now get to work.

Background: Mr. Mahi once served in the Afghan war for 12 years, ranging from 2001-2013. He was quite the leader, and led several successful charges through Baluchi Pass during the Battle of Chora, successfully repelling the Taliban. After that, he was at the frontlines of several battles, and eventually was withdrawn in 2012. After a year of longing for more adventure, he quit the Army and became a poacher hunter.

During his poaching career, he hunted down and severely injured, if not killed, a lot of rare animal poachers, and became a master at setting traps and melee weapons. Mr. Mahi was regarded as a controversial figure, with radical environmentalist groups praising him and the common person condemning him. At his peak in 2015, he was able to hunt down 30 poachers, 12 whom later died.

Cause of death: After stalking a group of poachers who were planning to kill a herd of elephants for about two weeks, he was about to set up his trap, when two of the poachers found him red-handed with a bear trap right outside the poacher's bedroom. After a brutal fight involving traps, guns, knives and bedsheets, he was finally stabbed in the chest with a knife and died with several gun wounds to his stomach.
Skills: He excelled at setting traps, biology and things about Afghanistan. He was handy with a knife, a gun and a broken bottle.
Misc: He had a slight alcohol problem, but claimed 'I am at my best' after consuming several cans of beer.

Background: Crime doesn't pay. Well, it actually pays pretty well. Especially if you were a member of the Owens Gang, a bank robbing crew who menaced the American West during the late 1860s and into the early 1870s. Led by the fearsome Elias Owens, the gang of outlaws hit bank after bank. Ranging from California to Kansas, the boys seemed impossible to catch. But Elias had grown tired of life on the run, and more importantly had fallen in love with a woman. So, Elias decided enough was enough and walked away from the gang, simply vanishing one night with all the money they had pilfered during their stretch from Nebraska to Kansas. And courtesy of an anonymous tip to the local rangers, his gang soon found themselves arrested. Elias was ready to kick back and enjoy retirement with his fortune, his lady and his soon to arrive first child. But revenge is a Hell of a motivator. A member of his gang, Dickie Monroe, tracked Elias down to his house on the Kansas plains 2 years later. Elias was just a split second too slow on the draw that day.

Of course, he jumped at the opportunity of freedom.

Samson would fight in the Siege of Bexar, afterwards setting up shop in the doomed Alamo fort under Texian generals James Bowie and William Travis for the winter. Once the Mexicans, led by Santa Anna, returned and put the Alamo under siege, Samson stayed behind and honorably helped defend the Alamo over the 13 days of the siege. When the Mexicans stormed the Alamo on the fateful night of March 6, 1836, Samson would be among the defenders who gave their lives.

However, his luck eventually ran out, with several members of a gang whose leader he had killed tracking him down, and after a brief firefight in which John managed to shoot one of the gang members, he was shot to death.

Well, not exactly, but you still inspired me. And it got me curious to see if a criminal would attempt to take the moral high ground over my character, and how that'd play out.

Background: Born in 1930, the NSDAP had been in power virtually her whole life, and as a member of Bund Deutscher Mädel she was further indoctrinated in the tenets of National Socialism. However, Helga never became a fanatic. Her parents had voted SPD when it was still possible to do so, and even if they were fairly apolitical (and initially assumed Hitler wouldn't be more authoritarian than the Kaiser, and that at least the troubles of the Weimar era would be gone...) it rubbed off on her as well. Open discussions and different opinions had always had a place in their home. Helga was the only child, her father who was a construction worker died in a work related accident in 1935, and her mother never remarried (although she had a few courtiers over the years). In order to provide for them, Helga's mother stopped being a housewife and began to work in a grocery store. Helga's childhood went on pretty normal from then on (well, "normal" given the time and place). Once the tide of WWII turned shortages became plenty, and Helga's mother began to dabble in the black market. Illegal of course, but Helga pretended she didn't knew. What other option was there?

During the battle of Berlin, Helga was conscripted as a Wehrmachthelferin of the Volkssturm. On paper, she had non combatant tasks behind the front, but the circumstances very soon had her become a child soldier. She had heard the stories about how the Soviet soldiers took their revenge on German women, and saved the last bullet for herself.

Skills: Decent shot, great at keeping secrets.
Misc: (Depends on how death works here, has it been all black until now for our characters, or have they resided in a realm of the dead? If the latter, I would say Helga's learned more about the nature of Nazi Germany from other dead people, over the years.)

Well, not exactly, but you still inspired me. And it got me curious to see if a criminal would attempt to take the moral high ground over my character, and how that'd play out.

Background: Born in 1930, the NSDAP had been in power virtually her whole life, and as a member of Bund Deutscher Mädel she was further indoctrinated in the tenets of National Socialism. However, Helga never became a fanatic. Her parents had voted SPD when it was still possible to do so, and even if they were fairly apolitical (and initially assumed Hitler wouldn't be more authoritarian than the Kaiser, and that at least the troubles of the Weimar era would be gone...) it rubbed off on her as well. Open discussions and different opinions had always had a place in their home. Helga was the only child, her father who was a construction worker died in a work related accident in 1935, and her mother never remarried (although she had a few courtiers over the years). In order to provide for them, Helga's mother stopped being a housewife and began to work in a grocery store. Helga's childhood went on pretty normal from then on (well, "normal" given the time and place). Once the tide of WWII turned shortages became plenty, and Helga's mother began to dabble in the black market. Illegal of course, but Helga pretended she didn't knew. What other option was there?

During the battle of Berlin, Helga was conscripted as a Wehrmachthelferin of the Volkssturm. On paper, she had non combatant tasks behind the front, but the circumstances very soon had her become a child soldier. She had heard the stories about how the Soviet soldiers took their revenge on German women, and saved the last bullet for herself.

Skills: Decent shot, great at keeping secrets.
Misc: (Depends on how death works here, has it been all black until now for our characters, or have they resided in a realm of the dead? If the latter, I would say Helga's learned more about the nature of Nazi Germany from other dead people, over the years.)
