Indeed, such propulsion arrangement is quite unusual for a passenger ship, yes. But it's standard for many modern warships, which have to be able to go fast.

Right, forgot CODLAG... with how many of SDY's ships are IEP and work quite well with that, I completely lost that from sight. Still, interesting - just like how the Aurelia generates power: She has small wind turbines at the top of the masts and hydrogenerators in the bilge keels.
The Aurelia is designed to be fast for a sailing ship, but also to afford the luxury of time (and leisure, as she is a yacht). As a vessel frequently carrying ambassadorial missions, her arrival means something - just like when the Alshaahin, the Hariqasahm, the Rashiq or even the Hikma arrive somewhere.

Why not have her on the modern harbour?? Only the Libertas and the ship Agus is coming in from Teressien (decided to take your idea of that) at most would need to be in the old harbour.

Then we'll do it like that - the Corette is banned to the modern cruise liner terminal, the Libertas is parked in the Old Town Harbour, and Agus' ferry (her name is, by the way, Wolpertinger) arrives at the ferry terminal in the Old Town Harbour, with a load of Teressian Tourists (I have yet to write up ; )).

Not in the harbour itself, but there is a local recreational area, including a beach, in nearby Sannbann, a small town, which you can reach with the city bus in 45 minutes from the Old Town. Alternatively, we could just say, that the hotel they are staying in, has a pool.

You can finish your app as long as the RP is open - and it will remain open for a looooooong time after the IC started. Please do not feel pressured from my end, especially not when RL and school is in the way.

As hinted via TG, I needed an excuse to add a third group, but that would mean they're on a separate yacht. Good idea to point out what a "commissioned" Indomitable Spirit-class Motor Yacht would look like; the notes I have for the yacht include provisions for boat/landing craft capacity, guest capacity, aviation facilities, and--because Visayan marine insurers give discounts in this case--FFBNW on a yacht. Also, even spies "need to chill," amirite? (He says, fully intending to make whatever intelligence setups in mind a background thing at most.)

And then I realize I got the pics intended for Alquizola and Satou swapped. Need to fix that in my first app.

And now I have enough people to create variety in my posts. :twisted:
