What is the PIGA?

The Peransao International Game Awards, commonly referred to as the PIGA (pronounced "pee-gah"), is an annual awards ceremony honouring outstanding achievements in the video game industry in the CCA. In addition to the awards, the PIGA also feature premieres of new games and in-depth looks at previously announced ones.

What are the rules?

1) Each person can only use one nation for this. You can not submit more than one nation if you own them.
2) Each nation can only nominate one entry per category.
3) Your entry must be appropriate. PG-13, folks. If you feel like your entry skims the line a little, use the spoiler to cover it up.
4) You can only vote once per category.
5) You can not self-vote.
6) Only those who submitted entries can vote.

How does one vote?

When the day comes, please use this below and fill it out.

You then follow the guidelines in "The Categories" (found below) and add things like your reasoning, story, etc. depending on what the category asks for. Also, things like posters are optional as there is no award for Best Art.

Is there any chance you could do my entry for me?

I completely understand if you feel like anything you put out won't be "as good" as somebody else's. However, if you constantly compare yourself to somebody else, you will always hold yourself back. This is an opportunity, especially in an RP setting like this one, to really let loose (PG-13, though) and show your creative side. You don't need paragraphs and paragraphs to have a winning entry. As long as you have fun, that's all that matters. :)

The game development company (i.e. Jazz Crisis, a Vitosian game company, would be the recipient if they won)

What must you put in your entry?

Your entry must deliver the absolute best experience across all creative and technical fields. Add a synopsis for the game, the genre of the game, then explain how your game is, without a doubt, the BEST game of the year.

Game Title: Singana Combat
Game Company: OtherDay Studios
Nominated For:
[X] Game of the Year
[ ] Best Impactful Game
[ ] Best Mechanics in a Game

Singana Combat is a is a 2.5D fighting game developed by OtherDay Studios. Upon release, the console versions of Singana Combat received favorable reviews, which praised the gameplay, story, graphics, and improved netcode. The game includes a story mode, 50-playable and customizable characters (with more than 50 available for purchase and customization through transaction), 80 locations and stages for fighting, and cinematic stage fatalities and more than 150 finishing moves. In fighting, Fatal Blows deal a large amount of damage, but they only become available when a player's health drops below 30%, and can only be performed once per match. Crushing Blows are a special cinematic variation of a given special move, triggered when certain requirements are met.

Dark Lord plans to protect Iearth by destroying all of its enemies and making an example of the mighty warrior Utaki; decapitating him. This latter act inspires Bala, Utaki's mother and the keeper of time, to rewrite history in order to erase Dark Lord's interference. Bala creates an alliance with revenants Kang and Atana, now rulers of the Ocean Realm, immediately afterwards. A battle erupts in Kang's Koliseum until Mara transports Belso, Scat, Kahn, Hive, and Brine to her hive, recruiting them into Bala's fold.

The team learns that Belso, backed by Nester and a cyberized Snow, is building a cyborg army for the Dark Lord. Kahn and Hive are sent to the factory to stop them. Meanwhile, Atana, Kang, and Brine battle Iva in order to secure an alliance between him and Bala. With their aid, the heroes successfully defeat and blind Belso, uniting the Outworld factions and inheriting the throne from the Dark Lord.

The Dark Lord prepares for an invasion of Iearth, but the heroes now united and travel to his domain, where a series of battles ensue. Depending on the outcome of the battle, the story ends in three different ways:

- Non-canonically, if the Dark Lord is defeated by Bala, she kills him and ushers in her New Era.
- If the Dark Lord successfully defeats Bala but loses one round to her, he is unable to bring his armies back due to Iearth reverting history too far. Instead, a now-mortal Dark Lord offers to become Kang's advisor for as long as his lifetime lasts. This is the canon ending that sets the stage for the an expansion pack.
- If the Dark Lord successfully defeats Bala in two consecutive rounds without losing once, he manages to destroy Ieath, but many of the heroes survive and both vow to create a new and better timeline while undoing Bala's mistakes. Though they realize that mortals will still make their own choices and new evils will eventually arise, they resolve to face whatever happens together.

Game Title: Distinction
Game Company: Abel Studios
Nominated For:
[X] Game of the Year
[X] Best Impactful Game
[X] Best Mechanics in a Game
[X] Best Narrative - Colin Park|Evan Griffiths|George Lloyd
[X] Best Performance - Chaim Hurley as Jude Kurt
[X] Best Score and Music - Anthony Turner

Distinction is an action-adventure game developed and published by Abel Studios. The story is set in 1879 in a fictionalized representation of Zamastan and follows outlaw Jude/Jamie Kurt, a member of the Crawford gang. Jude/Jamie must deal with the decline of the expansionist era in the east whilst attempting to survive against government forces, rival gangs, and other adversaries. The game is presented through both first and third-person perspectives, and the player may freely roam in its interactive open world. Gameplay elements include shootouts, heists, hunting, horseback riding, interacting with non-player characters, and maintaining the character's honor rating through moral choices and deeds. A bounty system governs the response of law enforcement and bounty hunters to crimes committed by the player.

The game's development lasted over eight years, and it became one of the most expensive video games ever made. Abel Studios co-opted all of its studios into one large team to facilitate development. They drew influence from real locations as opposed to film or art, focused on creating an accurate reflection of the time with the game's characters and world. The game was Abel Studio's first built specifically for ninth generation consoles, having tested their technical capabilities while porting their previously released "Ridge (2016)" to the platforms. The game's soundtrack features an original score composed by Anthony Turner and several vocal tracks produced by Theo Thomson.

GAMEPLAY
Played from a first or third-person perspective, the game is set in an open-world environment featuring a fictionalized version of
Zamastan in 1879, during the latter half of the Eastern Expansionist era, the aftermath of the Parabocan War, and the beginning of rampant industrialisation. The game features both single-player and online multiplayer components, the latter released under Distinction Online. For most of the game, the player controls outlaw Jude (or Jamie) Kurt, a member of the Crawford gang, as he/she completes numerous missions—linear scenarios with set objectives—to progress through the story. Outside of missions, the player may freely roam the game's interactive world. The player may engage in combat with enemies using melee attacks, firearms, throwables, or explosives. Combat has been refined from the game's predecessor, and notable new mechanics consist of dual-wielding and the ability to use a bow.

Distinction's unexploited land makes up the largest portion of the game world and features diverse landscapes with occasional travelers, bandits, and wildlife. There are urban settlements in the game, ranging from farmhouses to towns and cities. Horses are the main forms of transportation, of which there are various breeds, each with different attributes. The player can steal horses, and must either train or tame a wild horse to use it; to own a horse, the player must saddle or stable it. Increased use of a horse will begin a bonding process, which can be increased by leading, petting, cleaning and feeding it, and the player will acquire advantages as they ride their horse. Stagecoaches and trains can also be used to travel. The player can hijack an incoming train or stagecoach by threatening the driver or passengers and then rob its contents or the passengers.

The player may also witness or take part in random events encountered from exploring the game world. These include ambushes, crimes committed by other people, pleas for assistance, ride-by shootings, public executions, and animal attacks. For example, as the player explores the Interior, they can find specific people in distress. If the player decides to help them, they will be thankful and may reward the player if they cross them again. The player may also take part in side-activities, which include small tasks with companions and strangers, dueling, bounty hunting, searching for treasure or other collectibles around the map such as rock carvings, and playing poker, blackjack, dominoes, and Five Finger Filet. Hunting animals also plays a major role in the game, providing food, income, and materials for crafting items. When hunting, the player needs to take into account several factors, including the choice of weapon and shot placement, which affect the quality of the meat and pelt and subsequently the price traders are willing to pay. The player can either skin the animal immediately or carry the carcass, which will rot over time and decrease its value and attract predators.

The game focuses heavily on player choice for the story and missions. To start, the player can determine their character's sex - whether their player is a man (Jude) or a woman (Jamie). The character, while their name cannot be changed in story mode, is highly customizable through physical appearance, clothing, and accesories. Certain moments in the story will give the player the option to accept or decline additional missions and lightly shape the plot around their choices. The player can communicate with any non-player character (NPC) in dynamic ways new to the series. The player can choose different dialogue trees with NPCs, such as having a friendly chat or insulting them. If the player chooses to kill an NPC, they can loot their corpse. Distinction utilizes an "Honor" system by measuring how the player's actions are perceived in terms of morality. Morally positive choices and deeds like helping strangers, abiding the law, and sparing opponents in a duel will add up to the player's Honor. However, negative deeds such as theft and harming innocents will subtract from the player's Honor. The story is influenced by Honor, as the dialogue and outcomes for the player often differ based on their Honor level. Hitting milestones for the player's Honor level will grant unique benefits, such as rewarding the player with special outfits and large discounts in stores. A low Honor level is also beneficial, as the player will receive a greater number of items from looted corpses.

Maintaining the player is important, as they can undergo conditions that affect their health and stamina attributes. In addition to a health and stamina bar, the player also has cores, which affect the rate at which their health and stamina regenerate. For example, wearing warmer clothes will mean they avoid freezing in a cold environment, but wearing them in a hot environment will result in perspiration. Freezing or overheating will rapidly drain cores. The player can also gain or lose weight depending on how much he eats; an underweight character will have less health but at an increase of stamina, while an overweight character will be able to better absorb damage but will have less stamina. The player can eat and sleep to replenish their cores. The player can bathe to remain clean, and can visit a barber to change hairstyles; hair also grows realistically over time. The game features weapon degradation, with weapons requiring cleaning to maintain their performance. When the player uses a certain type of gun for a long period of time, they become more experienced with it, which improves weapon handling, reduces recoil, and increases the rate of reloading.

Gunfights are an essential mechanic in the game. The player can take cover, free aim, and target a person or animal. Individual body parts can also be targeted to take targets down without killing them. When the player shoots an enemy, the game's AI reactions and movements depend on where they were hit. Weapons consist of pistols, revolvers, repeaters, rifles, shotguns, bows, explosives, lassos, mounted Gatling guns, and melee weapons such as knives and tomahawks.

SYNOPSIS
Setting
The game spans fictitious 1879 representations of the Zamastanian provinces of Zian, the Northern Isle, and Pahl, with the Olympic Ocean and Horseshoe Bay acting as a barrier to the map's west, the Louise Mountains acting as the map's eastern barrier, the Danaska River as a border to the north, and the intraversable Landeda Jungle to the south.

Zian consists of a coastline with city centers, prominently displayed in fictionalized versions of Tofino and notable surrounding towns of White Rock, Nanaimo, and Tirzah. The rest of Zian is consisting of rigged landscapes including sharp hills and steppes. Moving north along the coast, the industrial city of Providence exists in the Northern Isle, as does an expansive series of birch forests and prime hunting grounds. In Pahl, expansive prairies exist as do small railroad towns including the settlements of Abagene, Foreman Town, and Elizabeth.

Characters
The player takes on the role of Jude/Jamie Kurt, a lieutenant and veteran member of the Crawford gang. The gang is led by Byron Crawford, a charismatic man who extols personal freedom and decries the encroaching march of modern civilization. The gang also includes Byron's best friend and co-leader Evan Tew, Elliot Heath, his partner Adalyn Lucas and son Billy Heath, gunslingers Louie Hughes, Hudson Butler, and George Mills, the hunter Braydon Soto, and housewife-turned-bounty hunter Bailey Holland.

The Crawford Gang's activities brings them into conflict with various opposing forces including the wealthy coal magnate Dominic Carver, whose assets become a gang target. The government's ranger police force, led by Kieran Davis, help defend Carver and hunt down the gang. The gang also becomes entangled in a dispute between the Odom gang and the Witt gang, who are trying to dominate the bootleg liquor trade in the newly expanded eastern territories.

Plot
After their attempt to hijack a train belonging to Dominic Carver and his lucrative company Carver Coal goes wrong, the Crawford gang is pursued by the Davis Rangers into the streets of Tofino, where Jude/Jamie Kurt meets Hudson Butlet. Hudson helps the gang hide, and gives them information on a major score at Tofino's General Bank which is being brought into the city by prominent philanthropists. The bank heist, depending on the player's actions during it, either succeeds or fails (resulting in either a major influx of in-game currency or none at all), but in either case the gang reunites after escaping Tofino to the town of Abagene in Pahl, where they plan to lay low for a while.

During this time, Jude/Jamie hunts animals for the gang, explores the territory, and performs meets an array of characters in Abagene. Following a shootout with Carver's men in Abagene, the gang relocate to Elizabeth, where they work simultaneously for the Odom gang and Witt gang in an attempt to turn them against each other. However, the gangs double-cross them: the Witts kill a gang member during an ambush, while the Odoms kidnap and deliver Bailey Holland to Bruce Lott, a baron in Providence. The gang retaliate and destroy both gangs before retrieving Holland from Lott, who offers them leads on work, but eventually double-crosses them. Byron kidnaps and feeds Lott to an Emmirian lion in a zoo as revenge, which disturbs Jude/Jamie.

Having discovered the location of Lott's huge fortune, Byron convinces the gang to go after a major score in Foreman Town, which is protested by Jude/Jamie, but they are outnumbered by the rest of the gang. The heist goes horribly, as the city had previously been alerted to their presence. Many members of the gang are killed, Elliot is captured, but Byron continues to obsesses over one last heist and doubts Jude/Jamie's loyalty after they disobey him by liberating Elliot earlier than planned, naming Louie his top lieutenant in Jude/Jamie's place. Jude/Jamie becomes concerned that Byron is no longer the man they knew, as he is becoming insular, abandons their ideals, and murders an innocent man out of rage. Jude/Jamie leaves the gang, having become disillusioned.

Six months later, Jude/Jamie is trying to lead an honest life, finding work at a ranch where they fight back against outlaws threatening his employer. Jude/Jamie takes a loan from the bank to purchase their own property (in an area of the player's choosing). Afterwards, learning that Byron and Louie have massacred a town during an attempted hiest, Jude/Jamie decides to assault his camp and a fight ensues with the player, Byron, and Louie. Depending on the player's honor, a high honor will result in both men being subdued by Jude/Jamie and turned in for a bounty while a low honor will result in their executions.

Music
Anthony Turner's musical score is an evocative mix of jangling Ennio Morricone-esque guitar and more soulful pieces, allowing for both an electrifying and eclectic experience. The soundtrack contributes significantly to the game's immersion, adding authenticity to the game world by using elements of Zamastanian folk music. The blending of music during exploration and its intensity in combat, including the sparing use of vocal tracks, highlights important narrative moments.

Game Title: Flee Now
Game Company: Frattner I
Nominated For:
[X] Game of the Year
[ ] Best Impactful Game
[ ] Best Mechanics in a Game

Flee Now is a survival horror video game formerly developed by Frattner I. It is a semi-open world and third-person survival horror game set throughout the 1980's in a variety of locations in and around various Kytian cities.

The game is an asymmetrical multiplayer video game, with up to eight people able to play in one game session. One player is randomly selected to control the Murderer, whose objective is to kill as many players as possible before time runs out. Playing as the Murderer grants special time-restricted abilities including being able to sense nearby counselors and to teleport anywhere on the map. The remaining players control the counselors, who can temporarily stun the Murderer using firecrackers and bear traps as well as the various projectile and melee-based weapons that are found throughout the map.

The main objective of playing as a survivor is to escape the map alive, which can be done more quickly by completing the map's side objectives (which are easier to complete when coordinating with other players) that will allow counselors to escape or to survive long enough until time runs out on the session. The Murderer may also be killed with an "epic win condition" that requires both teamwork and planning, and is difficult to perform. In order to kill the Murderer, a survivor is needed to find the killer's shack, don the killer's clothes, and confront him if his mask has been knocked off, distracting him as players attack the Murderer.

Game Title: Fog of War
Game Company: Nová Vlna
Nominated For:
[ ] Game of the Year
[ ] Best Impactful Game
[X] Best Mechanics in a Game

Fog of War is a top-down real-time strategy game set in a fictional conflict heavily based on the World War. You take command of a force of soldiers represented by pieces on a war room planning table. There are 18 single player missions split between two campaigns; 9 for the “Les Impériaux” and 9 for the “Halbinselreich Dominion”. The game is built around the central mechanic of military intelligence and the speed of communication. Every message between you and your soldiers must be relayed through a network of radio operators and any disruptions to this network will delay or prevent the sending and receiving of up-to-date information.
Disrupting your enemy’s communication network while keeping yours functioning forms the core of gameplay as nearly every tactical choice you make will be influenced by it. Communications can be disrupted by many things ranging from natural causes such as electrical storms to the preventable such as poor maintenance to acts of sabotage by the enemy. The communications themselves are split into three types: wireless, wired, and courier.

Courier is the simplest and cheapest form of communication: a message is given to a unit which then must manually deliver it to a destination. Any unit can act as a courier, but if a unit is delayed or destroyed the message is as well. These messages are best for short distances, such as between units or at the end of longer chains of communication.

Wireless is the most versatile form of communication, utilizing a player-built radio network of hubs and portable radio units to send messages. It is also the most resource intensive, requiring dedicated structures and units to function. While a system based entirely around wireless would be a powerful tool, it would be costly to maintain and could be intercepted by the enemy while being inflexible and very vulnerable to mechanical failure.

Wired is the most robust form of communication but also highly vulnerable. The player must construct a telegraph line between locations they wish to transmit between. These wires are rather costly to create but cheap to maintain, the main drawback being how easily they are severed by attack or sabotage. These will likely form the backbone of your communications network and, if properly defended, can be your most reliable line of communication.

Game Title:Hell March
Game Company:Team Hugo
Nominated For:
[X] Game of the Year
[X] Best Impactful Game
[X] Best Mechanics in a Game
[X] Best Narrative- Pavel Glukhov
[X] Best Performance-Leonid Legasov as Dimitri Chernov
[X] Best Score and Music

Image

Hell March is a first person survival horror game developed by Team Hugo, the setting of the game is set during the early stages of the Kossmilian Wars in 1967 within the city of Vorotov, the capital for the commuist faction in the war (People Republic of Vorotov). The game centers around Dimitri Chernov, a steel factory worker within the city as he tries to escape the city as he on the hit list from the communists for reasons he doesn’t know but during his journey through the city, his fragile sanity will be put through the task as his sanity crumbs which will pulled him through a distorted world full of nightmarish locations and horrid creatures. Chernov will question what is real or what is fake but more important he will see stuff that his mind won’t handle.

One of Hell March mechanics is the sanity mechanic which must be managed, sanity will be reduced if witnessing unsettling events or looking directly at “monsters” for too long, another could be killing “monsters” and another could be staying in the dark for too long. If sanity mechanics are not maintained then there will be huge consequences if not managed it will start minor with hallucinations both visual and auditory but if they get worse then panic attacks will happen randomly which will alert enemies nearby in a certain range and movement will be hindered. The sanity mechanic can be restored by light sources or lighting incense sticks, another way can be taking unknown tablets but they are very rare or expensive to buy.

In Hell March, there three ways with dealing enemies one way can be sneaking past them which can done with or without distractions another way is the player takedown enemies but is more at risks as if you spottered you have run away to hide and the third way is by fighting them but the player are at risk of sanity drop if dont kill them quickly or if multiple enemies around, the key thing is the player must remember is that Chernov is not soldier or hero, he is a civilian so it can be a challenge and the player can be killed if player don’t have a plan.

Another mechanic is the crafting system, it is very important in crafting health supplies, traps or even melee weapons if times get desperate. In the game the player can find resources, the player can craft items at any time in the game, but doing so in a workbench requires fewer crafting materials. Music

The musical score is done by an Emmirian called Kaveh Danesh, the music has a lot of gothic tunes while also having some church choir singing in the background. It give atmosphere in the game an tense feel with every tune to making the player feel on edge as player sneaking through, there also music getting faster with either low sanity mechanic and if being spotted by enemies then music gets loud with big thumping noises.

The game is played in the third person and has around 60 hours of story-driven gameplay. The world of Raiders has been built for over 5 years before being moved into full development in 2017.

There are 3 main aspects the developer focused on while developing the game combat, story, and environment. The game’s combat system has a skill web that includes hand combat, archery, sword skills, physical attributes, riding, and 5 Chief Traits skill trees that players must decide which to pursue. The game gives the player a number of choices throughout the story that not only affect their character but the entire journey.

Plot
The game opens with the player’s character at birth where they are prompted to make simple decisions about their character’s identity. The game’s story progress to a young child and the character decides which skills to pursue. As the character gets older the world’s map will open up and the quest will increase in scale as well as the distance from their village. Chapters 1 through 4 are set solely in Timeria where players will explore the rainforest, meet characters, and practice skills. Most of the early quests are dealing with wild animals, gathers being targeted by enemy villages, and training in your village. This gives players time to learn the combat system and explore the area around the village.

Players encounter their first major quest in Chapters 5 where they are now teens and take part in a raid on the Bezdekia Road. While on this quest players choose their first Chief Trait and gain a Skill Point boost if the raid is successful. Chapters 6-8 players have the option to lead raids but they will become increasingly difficult. Chapter 9 starts when you are captured by mercenaries from Durnstaal. Chapters 9-11 are spent on the Bezdekia Road where you are forced to fight other raiders, bandits, and steal from unsuspecting travelers. At the end of

Chapter 11 you attempt to escape but are recaptured and knocked unconscious. Chapter 12 opens up with you in an unknown city in present-day Durnstall along the Bay of Morevo. Chapter 12 is the shortest and smallest as you are confined as a slave in a villa and farmlands overlooking the city along the coast. In chapter 13 you are taken to the city and forced to compete in blood sport. Chapter 13-14 are spent in the city where you meet a fellow Timerian from the Merian Union. This will become the player’s love interest which has some customization to the player’s liking. In Chapter 15 you manage to escape and flee to the city where you ask the Timerian traders to travel back to Timeria with them. Chapter 15 - 17 are spent in the city while the Merians try to finish their trade mission you get to explore the city, conduct side quests, and earn your journey back by doing quests for the Timerian traders. Throughout these chapters, the player must maintain stealth and if they achieve a certain stealth rating throughout the game they are awarded a high-level stealth skill.

Chapter 18 starts when you run into your former captors. While evading you are forced to fight the leader of the mercenaries. Once they are defeated you return to the traders and hide out on the ship while guards search the city for the killer. Before the Timerians leave you are discovered by a tax agent and a fight breaks out on the boat.

In Chapter 19 you manage to escape and spend time at sea. Chapters 19 and 20 are all spent at sea supporting the ship, fighting off pirates, and becoming close with the player’s love interest.

In Chapter 21 you finally make it back to Timeria but you are South of the Athacona River and must make your way north. The player’s love interest decides to follow them and Chapter 21 is spent in Southern Timeria as you gather supplies for your journey.

Chapter 22- 24 are spent journeying various landscapes across Timeria as you make your way north. Players must read the stars and travel in the right direction to return home. If players make the wrong choice their journey is delayed and they could run into trouble.

In Chapter 25 the player finally returns to his village where they live out the rest of their days.

Multiplayer

The online experience is focused on PvE and three game modes Ambush, Duel, and Seige. Players are able to use created characters to battle each other and gain skill points for their online characters. In Ambush each team must escort a carriage to a set point safely to earn points while the other attempts to halt or eliminate the enemies guarding the carriage. In Duel, two or four armies face each other on a battlefield until only 1 team remains. Siege is focused on protecting an area from the opposing team for a set amount of time.

Players have the ability to increase skills similar to that of the story mode and earn cosmetic items for their players. The game includes microtransactions but they are all cosmetic modifications.

Butterfly Engine 6

The game was built on the new Butterfly Engine 6 which has improved graphics, animations, and coding abilities. The Butterfly Engine was designed so that players would see a vivid and almost photorealistic world. The game’s various landscapes are meant to show off the capabilities of the Butterfly Engine and the smooth flow of combat with numerous enemies and landscapes rendering in.

Game Title: Ape
Game Company: Chard Company
Nominated For:
[X] Game of the Year
[ ] Best Impactful Game
[ ] Best Mechanics in a Game

Image

Ape is an action-adventure video game developed and published by Chard Company. It revolves around the story of Attakar, an ape who starts off as an unarmed hunter and rises to become the leader of a tribe. It is set in an open world environment and played from a first-person perspective. As the game is set in prehistoric times, the player can only get access to melee weapons such as spears, clubs and ranged weapons such as bows and slings. The player must craft them using the materials scavenged in the world such as wood and stone. As the player progresses, they can craft more lethal weapons with a larger variety of resources.

Besides facing natural predators, the player must also compete with other hostile ape tribes occupying the area. By attacking and seizing bonfires and camps, the tribe will move in and begin patrolling the nearby region, and the player will gain fast travel points as well as camps to rest in. Non-player characters will also task the player to rescue tribe-mates and perform other tasks which improve the village, as well as provide free crafting materials. The game also features a dynamic weather system and day-night cycle, which affects the gameplay. At night, more predators are present, and many become more aggressive and dangerous, whereas at the day, the player can gather food and scavenge other resources such as tools for hunting. The player can also make use of fire as a tool for personal protection or hunting at night.

The player can bait different wildlife in the game using lures, and can also tame predators while they're feeding on the bait. These animals serve as a companion for the player and can assist them in combating enemies after being tamed, and can be summoned remotely and issued basic commands. Larger animals such as sabertooth cats can be used as mounts. Attakar has an owl, his spirit animal which can be directly controlled. Through the owl's vision, the player can scout enemies' outposts and highlight enemies. Through skill improvements, the owl can be upgraded to have various abilities added, such as diving to kill an enemy or dropping bombs.

The game is set in 10,000 BC during the end of the Upper Paleolithic and beginning of the Mesolithic period in Central Euronia. It takes place in the fictional Iros valley in the Asarana Mountains of Central Euronia, an open world filled with different types of flora and fauna. There is prehistoric wildlife such as woolly mammoths, dire wolves, cave bears, cave lions, woolly rhinos, brontotherium, Irish elk and saber-toothed cats along with forms of modern creatures like brown bears, badgers, and deer. Survival is a daily challenge as tribes come into conflict with one another and nature.

-------------------------------------

Funnel Fantasy is a role-playing video game developed and published by Banana Crossfire.

A lone college athlete, Brad Filibuster, is tasked with saving the universe when his mother, the Queen of Dimensional Joy, is kidnapped by the evil King of Parties IX, her ex, once time part-time private investigator and the current mayor of the town the game takes place in, Sabbath Road. Brad must use the Sacred Funnel and travel through different realities to find his mother.

The game delivers what many call an "experience" and quite well at that. You are able to use the game's main gimmick to change the lives of Sabbath Road's residents, as well as other things such as colour palettes and even genre of music, both of which affect the city in different ways.

Setting
The game takes place in the fictional city known as Sabbath Road, a city that acts as an international centre of business, finance, arts, and culture and is a prominent location for music, theatre, motion picture production, and television production. What the citizens don't know is that the city is nothing more than an experimental playground for The Queen of Dimensional Joy.

Characters
Bradley Chaz Cloud Armitage "Brad" Filibuster II: He is the son of King of Parties IX and The Queen of Dimensional Joy. At the age of 20, he is a college student studying mechanical engineering but lacks the motivation and passion to go farther in his life than partying. He is suddenly the one person responsible for saving the universe, forcing him to accept and take on responsibilities like never before.
King of Parties IX: Once a normal human, Thad Chad Madison received a gift from the gods in exchange of marrying and manipulating QDJ. He was eventually found out, which led to divorce. Now he wants revenge for being a pawn, wrongfully blaming QDJ for giving him powers so she would have a king.
The Queen of Dimensional Joy/"QDJ": The Queen of Dimensional Joy is the goddess of the world the characters all live in.

Gameplay
The game is a 3D RPG that takes place in the city of Sabbath Road at first, before going through more fantasy-esque environments as damage is done to the world. Brad is able to use a gift from the gods called the Sacred Funnel, which has many different functions such as:

*Drinking from it to alter reality depending on the drink
*Summon a sword with the funnel as the guard called the "Funnel Saber"
*Use it to craft funnel cakes, which is used for healing

Impact
The game sees a story told through shifting art-styles and an environment that changes depending on your decision. Whether it be the colour palette or even the genre of music, your decisions have a huge impact on the story. This adds to the "experience" that the player can experience. Additionally, the final plot twist also leaves an impact with the players. Nathan Candle is the real identity of Brad Filibuster and the whole world and everybody in it is not real as Nathan is in a coma throughout the game. Said coma was a result of a car crash caused by his lack of self-responsibility, which ties into how Brad is at the beginning of the game. Your actions will determine if Nathan wakes up or dies in the end.
