For many years, Gonswanza, China, the US and Russia have been at odds, more so the latter three than anything. However, things will change slowly, even as the world slowly teeters on the edge of a cliff overlooking the deep and vast abyss of death. As tensions rise with armies being mobilized and minor invasions or proxy wars opening up in other regions, this world now opens up to the world of Nation States, just as an "experiment" to see how far south things will go, if at all.

Note: US, China, and Russia are being NPC'd along with other regions. Yugoslavia exists as a union of Baltic countries, similar to IRL's former Yugoslavia. "So how do we jump in?" Well, your nation would be dropped in with respect to its actual location on a map of the world, or allowed to interact through some portal-drive-narrative-fiddling.

Seriously, if you want to walk in and take over, say, India (no idea why'd you want to do that...) just instead try for the more conventional route, before facing the full fury of it's neighbors (notably China).

Actions have consequences!
Recall that yes, interactions, while stiff, will change the world slightly. You could, for example, remove S.Korea and N.Korea, installing a puppet gov't over the new Korea, but in turn China will build up troops along the border and later attempt to wipe said puppet in a future border conflict. Attacks on Japan would result in swift nuclear retaliation from the US, while attempting to attack the US would have horrific consequences as the rest of NATO turns upon the invaders to grind them to dust and possibly even run back into your country.

Sure, I did mention "no nukes!" but that is only due to not wanting to see this little world turn into FALLOUT 76 but it's raining nukes. Yes, the NPCs have nukes. Yes, they will resort to them if someone is seriously willing to force them to take action. No, I will not allow a country to say "I will throw billions of seals and bears into said country and flatten everything for the sake of a new world order" because at that point the only response would be to glass everything if it wasn't already glassed prior.

Crysuko, a nation both populous and prosperous, in the South Atlantic between South America and Africa. A socialist state, we are frequently at odds with much of the world, but our people keep national morale steady through hard nosed socialist materialism, along with lax drug laws.

A nuclear power, the atomic deterrent has kept capitalist aggression largely at bay, though the steady stream of cheap goods coming out of our ports threatens to undercut many local industries. Our military has only grown in power, having recently engaged in several pacification operation in past years which have prevented high command from falling into complacency.

Sitting at the top of this red tower is General Secretary of the Revolutionary Marxist Party and president of the Union of Crysukon Socialist Republics, Diane Newton. Aged 28, her cult of personality is considerable, and her political power within the state is unmatched.

America is the enemy, with propaganda and public sentiment portraying them as the encapsulation of everything wrong with the world. We maintain cordial relationships with China, hoping to nudge them in a more traditionally socialist direction.

[The Republic of Western Sol]

The Republic of western sol is a relatively small island located near the equator of the Atlantic ocean. A newcomer to the world table, the country often only serves as a negotiation centre, although our people want more power, not to take over the world, just to be listened to as an equal partner.

Our technology is relatively advanced, with solar energy and high civil rights, but strangely still have the last fleet of zeppelins in the world, which still see active use to this day, with a specialist transport for our leader. We were also one of the first nations with water filters.

We our a capitalist society, but we have more even pay than A lot of other nations, this is because we are also socialist, this means we also have state funded healthcare, free education and scholarship schemes, these are important to a place with a landscape as unique as ours, from our long dormant volcanic mountains to the black, coarse, volcanic sand that covers a majority of the serface, only broken up by valleys of iron and the jungles that surround them

Originally a British colony, our culture had a lot of influence from victorian England. Gaining independence in 1842, we were one of the first nations out the British empire.

[New Kowloon Bay]

New Kowloon Bay, the great Oceanian nation(as in Australia, New Zealand, some Pacific Islands and also owner of Guangdong), is an established nation with very advanced technology. Being a nuclear power, it is considered a major power on the international stage, and is one of the largest exporters of fish and rare metals.

With large deserts in the middle of Australia, it uses mainly solar power.

It mantains good relations with both China and US, but has hostile relations with Sri Lanka.

With the player-countries in place, paired to the ever-so-charming display of falling intelligence satellites, the game, if you could call it that, begins. With conflict still blooming in various regions, along with the world on the verge of a third world war, the political climate is tense. Yet, in spite of this, the various new additions are safe.

India however moves to push more infantry against China, suspecting the latter of attempting to divert a coalation away from India.

Israel secures the Sinai desert, as British and French intervention is considered, but the British decide to go against it while the French are left to think about their strategy. The US decides against a military intervention, noting that doing so could block off the Suez for several days or more.

Operation Green Thunder, also known as the Brazillian civil war, is now setting Brazil on fire as incendiaries and chemical weapons are used to try to flush out the US-backed rebels. With the odd war in flux, Gonswanza sends over more forces to try to hammer down the rebellion once and for all. Per the president-

We will not stop this war that the Eagle has begun. After all, they wish to consume the Latin-American sphere to take hold of the continent and spread their corrupt influence before seeking out other lands to consume. Hence, we are the shield and sword of democracy, fighting off this tyrant to the north. This cancer that refuses to die.

Yugoslavia is offering trade deals to any nation that may be interested in selling arms and food for oil and minerals, while Mexico is considering possibly doing the same, just trading oil for lumber and metal instead.

The Republic of western sol's trade advisor Bill Koxing will begin negotiations with yugoslavia, working on a fair trade of assault weaponry, specifically automatic rifles and shotguns from military surplus, for aluminium, as Western sol is in shorts supply, we hope yugoslavia will accept our deal, as it will be beneficial to all parties involved

This deal will be preformed with cargo zeppelins,usually guarded with 2 or more light fighter helicopters, flying to yugoslavia to drop of weapons and pick up supplies, each round trip taking approx 2 days time.

We will be waiting to hear if they accept.

The Foreign secretary of Crysuko Karl Morton offers monetary and logistical support to the government to squash the US backed rebels. International Volunteer Assistance Forces (IVAF) remain stood down. Meanwhile, the President gives a press conference urging the world powers to find a diplomatic solution to the Suez problem. The economy remains largely civilian, though a hefty stockpile of modern arms and munitions is slowly but surely being built up "just in case". Research budget for fusion power increased by $10,000,000 after promising theoretical breakthrough, new experimental reactor greenlit by secretary of the sciences Jannis Mitsotakis. Public response supportive.

Yugoslavia almost graciously accepts the terms of the proposed trade deal, however, they are mildly worried that foreign intervention may attempt to intercept the "blimps" which is the (unofficial) word being used to refer to the zeppelins. Alas, they sincerely hope that the transit won't cost human lives, in spite of the seemingly safe passage. Then again, with the world on a powder keg, even the smallest spark could set it off. Alas, they decide to try to talk over the offer instead, opting to sort out a more proper plan of trade than simply jumping in, given that they are a little unsure of this "new" customer. Yet, they are quite warm to the proposal, regardless of their cautionary moves and relative slowness to jump to it.

Israel continues to hold an iron grip on their end of the Suez, with the French offering to mediate things before the Israelis or the Egyptians decide to jump over the canal and ignite a new war. Given Morton's attempt at bringing this issue to the public eye, it does seem to at least grant some mild peace, with a possible chance for talks. Yet, Egypt is staunch on their end, deciding to instead push forces up against their side almost in preparation for an Israeli assault, forcing the IDF to push their forces up against the opposite side, with aircraft at the ready. It's what one may refer to as a luke-warm standoff, but so far, war is quite far from being imminent given how both sides are unwilling to claw at each other... Yet.

In Brazil, the added support is swinging the war slowly in Gonswanza's favor, however, American supplies finally manage to slip through a hole in the Gonswanzan blockade, with footage soon arising of US Army Rangers cutting a path through the jungle, spying on a Gonswanzan camp as prisoners were supposedly executed. Gonswanza responds to the allegations of war crimes, stating that such an event never occurred, given the "Gonswanzans" appeared to be rebel fighters executing likely dissenters or members of a rival group, noting the in-fighting that only complicated things. Adding to this, the rangers were not fired upon and the (rebel) infantry lacked UGVs that normally would have been nearby and operating with personnel. In spite of these pleas, the UN is deciding to weigh in on the footage, though it will be a long time until they finally decide on a final verdict.

China's progress into Afghanistan is slowed to a crawl, thanks to "Operation Roadblock" in which a group of NATO countries (France, Belgium, UK, US, Germany) have joined forces to try to stop China's advances with local groups, even as the coalition themselves come under fire from the Taliban who are attempting to flush out various tribes still resisting their attempts to unite Afghanistan under an Islamic Caliphate. Due to this and growing issues in the Middle East drawing from resources being diverted away from the Suez, oil prices are beginning to drop, possibly before a sharp and sudden crash. But there's also a mild chance it may make oil prices skyrocket. The market is a little unstable for oil, but many countries are betting on it stabilizing once the "Suez Situation" calms down at the table.

With the confirmation of American forces in Brazil, the foreign secretary holds a meeting with defence secretary Rajesh Singh to discuss the possibility of involvement. Later that day, a diplomatic missive is sent offering a regiment (2500) of Crysukon IVAF troops to assist in pacifying US backed forces, with the possibility of escalation if needed.

The public reaction to the footage is outrage, and with the public demanding action, the party works quickly to increase their involvement to the military level.

Our trade advisor Bill Koxing and minister of defence Don Savan have offered the yugoslavian leader a tour of our fleet of zeppelins, trying to convince them that they are still a safe mode of transport, by showing them their enhanced armour from the zeppelins of Ww2, with armour thicker than some tanks, and showing them the escort helicopters which we see as adequately armed to deal with "inconveniences" as w put them.

Hoping that we have convinced yugoslavia that our trade deal we be safe, we also offer to make a trade pact, so yugoslavian and West solian goods can be sold across both lands as a sign of good faith.

Tragedy strikes in Gonswanza, as a steam explosion heavily injures Advisor Spitz and gravely injures President Mawar Al-Sherbak, with the Green Party electing for Laura Ortiz to fill the position. However, this soon turns into a more permanent position, as Mawar considers retirement, handing off the current term and likely the next term to her, even as the public questions the actions taken, before engaging in a rather savage display when paired to the release of the combat footage. The so-called "night(s) of torches" has begun, with the burning of American flags and violence against American (and Chinese) immigrants and tourists still in the country, as Gonswanzan borders are closed to anyone "of Chinese or American descent or those who manage to have anything to do with said countries." Outrage against such a swift and cruel order is just as sudden in the US, but the Chinese silence the news, instead proclaiming that it is nothing more than a mere scare tactic even with Chinese shipping being turned away and any Chinese vessels refusing to "bugger off" being fired upon.

Laura Ortiz addresses the nation with her oddly extremist rhetoric, almost akin to a dictator than a president, having it done by night under the light of countless torches.

It is a new age for Gonswanza. The spider grows in strength, while her children hide behind her thick shell. One day we shall inherit the world, a world in ashes, only due to the fools that sit beyond our reach. We must prepare for the coming night, given that we shall set the sky aflame, plunging them into darkness before they set each other on fire in turn. However, our salvation lies not only in our nation but also on the moon and beyond. If we can take these heavenly bodies, by force or otherwise, our empire shall outlast even the ashes of the apocalypse. Raise your torches, praise the spider, and hail the coming of the end! And the coming of a new world order!

Brazil is slipping away in terms of stability, with Mexican and American forces being involved in clashes in the Gulf. In Brazil itself, however, the capital is in flames and ruins, with Rio becoming a hotspot for mercenaries and Private Military Companies as rebels attempt to spread out and reclaim the lands lost. Even the Amazon is burning, due to the harsh scorched earth campaign being employed by Gonswanzan forces to try to root out rebel camps. It's becoming hell-on-earth.

Yugoslavia decides to accept the trade deals, given that there was no real competition (save for Gonswanza, but they were shipping over minerals and automotive parts for weapons) and hence, they decide to accept. Of course, as they do so, news breaks of yet another tragedy overseas, with Ukraine soon falling into a civil war as a new rebellion is sparked against the corrupt leadership, with a failed assassination raising hell as the capital, Kyiv, is bombed in various locations with fatalities rising to the hundreds. The president himself however fails to note the bombings, claiming that it was false news, which only added fuel to the fire, as several border towns attempt to break away and form an independent state within Ukraine. Russia decides to send support for the growing rebellion, in spite of the buildup on the border with Poland and also on the Chinese and Mongol border. Perhaps Europe truly isn't spared after all?

The Suez Crisis continues at an idle stalemate, with no real movement on either side now. It's resorted to a war of words, with the current leader of Israel at odds with the leader of Egypt. Neither side wishes to move, either to fall back or advance, as now the Suez is seeing far less traffic. Iran even attempts to nudge Egypt into throwing the first punch, but their "letters of reason" were ignored, later to be found laced with anthrax, igniting a new anthrax scare in the US almost ironically. The last time that had occurred was in 2001, due to the suspicion that the attacks were not just limited to the WTC and Pentagon, with added suspicion of hostile agents within the US. The US postal service and Homeland however attempt to assure the public that no such thing will happen, ever, as they resort to double-checking mail at the expense of delivery time. Amazon and USPS stock falls by several dozen points, but it's nothing too harsh.

China's efforts in Afghanistan are faltering, almost failing now, yet, the Taliban manage to force the NATO front to fall back, allowing the Chinese to push forwards and later overwhelm the first lines of defense, ripping through the Wakhan Corridor and gaining access to the rest of Afghanistan. However, with this occurring, Germany declares that China is, in fact, an existential threat to peace. Russia pushes more infantry to the far east, even reducing pressure on the "Polish Front" to supplement infantry on the "Chinese Front" should China dare to swing north and attack their more immediate neighbor. With that being done, Russia's industry is also building up in an attempt to feed the demands of the military, as even the legal age for work is dropped to a new low and any child labor laws in place are being revoked to try to fill the factories. The UN would condemn this, but Russia's seat at the table keeps them from doing so.

In more "happy" news, the Gonswanzan station (that once came under fire by the US) is completed, conducting experiments much like the ISS, though with a small group of "Space Marines" on board as security.

[New Kowloon Bay]

New Kowloon Bay decides to intervene in the war in Brazil, seeing as the situation has devolved from being a two-side war to a messy and chaotic hellhole. It will offer one thousand humanitarian aid workers and labourers to construct new and temporary buildings to serve as hospitals and quarters for displaced residents. They will either be dropped off by ship in coastal cities and work their way inwards, or be dropped to the capital directly under military guard.

Officially, NKB is neutral in the Brazilian War, but it secretly offers monetary and military force to the US.

Upon hearing the news of a civil war in Ukraine, the Republic of western sol decides to send 1000 paratroopers, armed with assault rifles and supplies for the rebels, making a world announcement to say that we are on the side of the Ukrainian rebels, and encouraging the Ukrainian government to stand down, as we want as minimal casualties as possible

With the new aluminium we required now in our ownership, the WSSD (West Solian Space Department) can begin work on their own mars colonisation project, which was in development hell for 2 decades at this point. We hope that other governments will join us in a united space colony of international decent.

With the invasion of Afghanistan looking to turn into a bloody stalemate and the situation in Brazil turning into hellish chaos, Secretary Singh decides to increase army readiness, recieving permission to issue DEFCON 4. With no response from the Brazilian government, the military begins to draw up plans for Operation Chemotherapy, which would be a unilateral move to "restore order" to Brazil should US backed forces or other unsavoury elements seize control. The offer of assistance forces continues to Brazil, as well as attempts to open diplomatic channels to Gonswanza in order to coordinate attempts to prevent the seizure of south american territory.

Brazil is quickly devolving into hell, indeed. Yet, channels to Gonswanza are open, as Laura sits proudly behind her desk even with a dartboard that had the American president's portrait on it also being in view as well... With several blades embedded in the dartboard. She seems to wave it off, not wanting to remove it herself, even if it was a little improper on camera for the message delivered via video to the current leaders of Crysuko... After a few day's delay.

This is the glorious president, Laura Ortiz. I suppose you are wondering why I sent a video instead of directly connecting with you lot. It's simple. I'd rather send the message myself than twiddle my thumbs behind some anonymous phone call. Now, if you so desire to talk with us, be it for peace or other reasons, I'd suggest that we meet aboard the Republic class carrier Vengeance which will be floating beyond Gonswanzan waters... Or we could instead meet in the [ahem] "capital" of Jaktoo instead, though, given a minor situation, it's officially the capital for now. Well, hope to see you there!

The video ends there, though given it was delivered via VHS, there was bound to be some mild graininess and loss of quality. But it's still crystal clear beyond those faults.

The United States condemns Laura's rule, citing that her "latest speeches almost mirror that of Adolf Hitler, what with torches lighting the night, almost reminiscent of Kristallnacht, as the only people cruel enough to follow her word would be crazed savages hellbent on destroying democracy rather than embracing it."
Due to this, the United States will no longer deal with trade to Gonswanza, not that they traded anything in the first place. The homefront is a bit torn, however, with Brazil turning into hell on earth as the Gonswanzans continue to dump chemical weapons and incendiaries, while in Afghanistan the bloody stalemate continues, as the Taliban slowly grows elsewhere.

France refuses to step into the Suez crisis, noting that the end result would not bring peace, but war. And the last thing anyone wants is Israel throwing the hammer down upon Egypt and rushing across, or vice versa.

The Gov't of Ukraine refuses to stand down, instead declaring that it is a just war, a war incited by "the swine of Europe, the political pigs of Yugoslavia, the Baltics and Russia itself" in spite of the rebellion having taken root from separatist factions that weren't targeted by police and hence were allowed to grow, thus resulting in this uprising. Ukraine is being cut up into multiple states, with "Greater Ukraine" being marked as the last bastion of pro-gov't forces in spite of taking up about two-thirds of the country. Like Brazil, the situation is quickly spiraling out of control in spite of a more united front against the government.

Among all this, footage of the "nights of torches" has been released, showing Laura's actual speech from the first night, which indeed confirms what the states have said about it. Gonswanza has failed to comment on the grainy, poor footage captured by a cellphone, though such news is short lived as several communications satellites spontaneously go offline, notably blacking out a few news agencies that includes: BBC, FOX, CNN, RT and Reuters among others. Service will be restored within the week, due to these "technical" difficulties.

As Ukraine's government disgracefully resisted the call to stand down, president Kait Jokan makes a televised speech, declaring the Ukrainian government an "enemy of the state" and asks of all countrys who are allied with the rebels to stand and fight, to prevent the corruption from spreading and to establish peace within the region

we will not be insulted by a coward who would sacrifice his remaining loyalists for 20 catuns, we must fight this corruption to free the good people of Ukraine, to end this governments tyranny and to prevent this situation from happening again.

Western Sol will call upon our allies to help fight this menace, but remember, we may be small, but we serve the greater good.

This oculd be a chance to not only flex the naval muscle a little, but also make a new ally. Given this option, a top of the line Medusa class cruiser. Everything about it was as modern as can be, the weapons, engines, ECM suite, no expense was spared. The CSS Vixen was one of the first to come off the slipway, with a dozen more currently under construction. The 3 man diplomatic team consisting of the bona fide foreign affairs expert accompanied by a military and economic analyst, respectively. The 3 men boarded the sleek new ship, and with the coordinates of the carrier plugged in, they set off. It would be a 4 day trip, but so as to not appear too threatening, an escort of a pair of destroyers and an air defence frigate was sent to accompany them. A light escort by Crysukon standards.

Meanwhile,3 infantry divisions were activated as military planners continued to hash out the details of Operation Fleming. The details of the mobilisations are being kept secret as best as possible, despite how much this will slow preperations down.

The republic of western sol starts work on increasing the amount of armaments and armour for their omega class zeppelins, adding 120mm cannons on the front and rear with heavy machine guns and aerial torpedoes lining the sides,replacing the gas with a less flammable gas and refitting the army and Air Force with RN-65 assault rifles chambered in 6.5 grendel, these rifles have a good mix of good accuracy and low recoil, these were designed in secrecy by the west solian department of defence with an improved rate of fire and reliability than the modified AR-15s we were using beforehand, we also ship these new rifles to our ally Yugoslavia, and all nations willing to help, hoping they will help us take down the Ukrainian government and assisting the rebels, and once again creating a united, allied Europe.
Yugoslavia will also receive 2 of the newly refurbished omega class zeppelins.

We also begin talks with Russia to trade our firearms for assistance in taking down Ukraine, seeing as the Ukrainian government has already declared Russia an enemy.

Preparations are made for operation flying fortress, the zeppelins are ready, the troops are armed, the war flag is flying, the only question left, however, is Ukraine prepared?

In lighter news, the countrys first non military powered exoskeletons are officially on the market for people with spinal injuries to enable them to walk again, only the first in this countrys eventual love for cybernetic implants

Ukraine, in fact, was rushing to prepare for the war. The only reason the rebellion had been able to raze through the lines was due to a sudden strike and lack of preparation, however, now that the war has gone on for several days, Ukraine was somehow able to pull its head out of its ass and mobilize proper, locking the two sides in a more proper war as the rebels were just as well equipped as the Ukrainian army, however, they seemed to lack the numbers and organization, even with volunteers from Russia running in, as Yugoslavia is forced to also send in volunteers from Serbia who were willing to carve their name into Ukraine itself.

Brazil's civil war rages on, with Gonswanzan forces (and technically, pro-gov't forces) regaining ground at a quicker pace. Yet, this progress was stemmed with the assassination of the Brazillian president-elect, the result of a coup that quickly disorganized the army given sudden orders to fall back and defend the capital (in spite of the capital being well behind the front)... Gonswanza reacts negatively to this, as Laura seems to bark up a storm before the Brazillian junta tries to pull out of the war in spite of being under fire.

Just what in the deep-fried [censored] are they doing?! We are fighting this war on their behalf, yet they wish to seek peace with the forces that somehow want to destroy them? How?! WHY?! We cannot stand for this, if they decide to remove themselves from this war, we will fix this issue ourselves and skip straight to the end of Green Thunder instead! I knew the military was not to be trusted, but holy [censored] this is getting worse day by day![sic]

The Republic class carrier sets off with 3 days left to go on the clock, full speed of course, as Laura finds herself on the carrier itself, drinking as she needed to get the issue of Brazil off her mind given the sharp and sudden change in tactics. Alas, the Gonswanzan army continues to hammer down on the rebellion, even as it seems that perhaps Gonswanzan may need to try to change the ruling powers sooner rather than later.

Yugoslavia, again, accepts the support, continuing their trade relations and even warming up to a mild alliance, while trying to push away influence from Russia given their part in the conflict. It's a little hard, but they manage to get along somehow despite sharing mildly similar perils.

Afghanistan's conflict continues, with NATO forces being backed into a corner, but unwilling to surrender to Chinese advances that have also been pushed back by Taliban movements. It's a three-way war, but the Chinese continue to pass it off as a mild foreign intervention when demanded to give comment in press meetings. However, those meetings soon go dark, with more satellites falling out of the sky.

The United States "accidentally" lets an Arleigh Burke class destroyer sail into Gonswanzan waters, where the only proper response was to scare it off with anti-ship missiles. Since Laura took office (due to Mawar Al-Sherbak retiring from his injuries, given a steam explosion) the military has gotten both bigger and more hostile to American and Chinese shipping, though the attempt to "shoot over the bow" fails with the destroyer intercepting the missiles and defensively manuvering to try to get away. Gonswanza refuses to comment on the incident, with the US holding by their stance that Gonswanza is indeed the enemy.

Permission is granted, as the large carrier, akin to a nimitz class, rests in the waters. Crews aboard stir to life, though below decks, drones are prepared and later deployed to counter any strikes against the two carriers. Indeed, a small group of unmanned craft would approach and later circle around the two carriers, having been identified as friendly units, while a lowly Gangut class lurks nearby as added protection. American assets are not in the area, luckily, though it could easily change in a matter of hours.

While the president prepares to greet her guests, Ukraine is falling into chaos. Combat is slowing down to a crawl yet again, as both sides dig in, in spite of strikes made against the gov't forces. While the corrupt scum have the experience and tech, the rebellion had sheer numbers on their side. Yet, the Russians decide to try to poke at the Americans, whom have expressed mild disdain for the civil war. The response however was Russia's leader being left on hold, rather rudely.

Gonswanzan forces work around the clock, keeping anti-sat operations active and poking at the Americans, pestering them, trying to draw them into pulling out of Brazil. The US refuses, however, a slip of the hand results in a carrier task force being pushed to the Phillippines due to Chinese interest in the region. Gonswanza then offers a hand, as if attempting to calm the situation, with the Chinese reacting by also throwing a carrier task force into the waters beyond the exclusive economic zone around the Phillippines. The mild talks between advisor Joseph Spitz and the US president result in a mild agreement where the US will reduce their presence in Brazil, but in turn, they will attempt to back Gonswanza's push into the Pacific to try to "save" the Phillippines from China, in spite of the mild suspicion that it could be a deceptive move to push forces away from Taiwan. Yet, with the dedication of a carrier group, such a move seems unreasonable.

Brazil continues to burn, with Gonswanzan forces securing Brasilia, the capital, and a majority of Rio. Yet, the new junta attempts to spin the war on them, unsuccessfully, before getting stormed by a group of specialists within the Gonswanzan Army to knock them out of power once and for all. Hence, Brazil comes under a new, more temporary ruler, for the sake of keeping what remains of the government whole even as some of the smaller pockets of rebels crumble or are absorbed by larger rebellious groups. However, even behind gov't lines, saboteurs run the streets, stopping convoys or rigging IEDs to try to bring about the ruin of the gov't from within.

Afghanistan is no better, with the front slowly falling back, at times surging forwards only to double back within the same day. Chinese forces effectively outnumber the coalition and Taliban combined, but the latter has been cutting down on infantry behind enemy lines and carrying out their "holy war" as blood continues to be spilled. Russia refuses to join the conflict, citing the risk of a Chinese rush into Siberia if men were diverted to try to stop the red horde in another land that was once invaded by Russia, with a failed occupation.

Finally, on the Suez, two CIA agents have been seized by the Egyptian military along with five intelligence agents from Germany also being caught, this time by the Israelis. Both sides are of course annoyed, yet, the Egyptians released images of their captives in horrid condition, as a propaganda piece, proclaiming that these men "are not with us, as they have been sent by the zionist menace to punish us." Hence, highlighting Egypt's attitudes to Israel. Israel however messages Germany, noting that their agents are unharmed and will be returned after being questioned, in peace. The United States considers this a hostile act, cutting support for Egypt entirely and even recalling any US forces present there, while the gears start ticking within the Pentagon for a solution to this mild problem.

In orbit, the Gonswanzan satellites and station are well and operational, though the station does dodge an erroneous crash course with the ISS, due to the latter having lost control temporarily after test-firing some new rocket motors. This only annoyed the US and other member countries, while also scaring the ever-loving crap out of the Gonswanzan Space Force, given they "narrowly dodged a bullet the size of an office complex".

We work on developing advanced EMP cluster bombs to try to take the enemy's technologies out and a bomb designed to make picking of EMPed enemy assets easy, we start forming trenches and sniper towers hidden within organig structures, while this is happening, our army has been studying their tactics by first hand experience and the spy on the inside.

The land vehicles we have are usually ground-modified by the troops to fit more specific needs, from trench-crawlers to bunker-breakers, allowing for more precise strikes.

We call out America for not assisting in the Ukrainian war, stating that they are cowardly for not fighting for the greater good, and are no better than the former leaders of the Ukrainians

In non War related news, western sol launch their first satellites, a small broadcast one and a space exploration drone/telescope, which soon will allow us to study the universe through outlr own eyes, however, we are also constructing a small five man crew space shuttle, and, with permission from the gonswanzan government to come aboard, the first space-fairing diplomacy talks can begin.

The diplomatic group is deployed via helicopter, landing on the deck of the carrier, departing for a conference room to discuss Crysukon involvement in the military struggles in Brazil, and perhaps other means. Government and economic ties are also to be discussed. The men were sent unarmed, and the ships held their position, maintaining an open comms link to the men aboard the carrier should there be any trouble. Back in the homeland, production of arms amd munitions was stepped up, while the news continued to agitate the populace with reports of American backed atrocities.
