ZN Naval Task force IL-3 in the Xiang Sea.
ZN as for most of their history been isolationists with a need to keep Novia under it's control. The rising power of Cavirfi has made multiple treaties with neighbors after they declared/negotiated indepdence with the US in 1992. Cavirfite troops secured multiple islands after the collaspe of their neighbors by ZN forces other small island nations also gained indepdence from the US many coming under a ZN or Cavirfi influence. Treaties with the defeated nations caused many disputes which have esclated before but due to the instability of ZN never led to anything. With Instability at one of it's losest amounts ZN law makers have pushed to push these disputes in ZN's favor. This comes as ZN elections have closer and the centralists party's main election promiss/what they are weging the social democratic party on is these disputes.
The disputes:

Disputes in the Ana Cavirfi channel (between ZN owned brazzilia and the Cavirfi homeland)

Disputes in the Nova Arta sea. Everyone here hates eachother and themselfs. Crabiaia vs. ZN vs, Cavirfi the area has key fishing and oil resources

Disputes in Li Govbrella Sea. Major trade routes and fishing areas are in the disputed areas. Anyone who controls them can heavily deplete the others economy.
Rules:
Invited players may use minor military actions(Other then Cavirfi and ZN who may do more)
Non-Invited players may only use reactions.
No total war(declaration of war/massive military engagement/nuclear war) only small naval engages at most.
No godmodding
No metagaming
No FRP.
Small forces only(Invited players must give ORBAT on first post)

11:07 pm Cavirfi Time, Port of Bernchinshot, Cavirfi

The Navy units being stationed at the Port are alerted of movements in disputed zones and is alerted to prepare for mobility in case if any thing were to happen, meanwhile the Coast Guard begin sailing to the edges of Cavirfi's complete sovereign EEZ.

"All naval units prepare to move across to disputed zones." the Officer in charge comes to say.

"Hold on, we have disputes with anyone who isn't Crabaiaia?" one of the sailors say

"Of course, lad! In '92 some folks in a milita or whatever thought it was okay to move in places closer to Zarni and further from us." His fellow sailor responds

However the situation remains relatively peaceful, as for anything, none of these commands have been released by the Great Farmer, as for the most part, she doesn't care, her main ambition is rivaling Crabaiaia, not Zarnicovia. However as it is custom with most culturally Estiman militaries, the military retains some autonomy, and the officers at this port are using such autonomy to prepare for any disputes.

ZN naval ships are spotted landing in a key dock owned by ZN near the Cavirfi mainland. The ZN ships notice them crossing but do not act. 2 ZN air force jets begin monitoring the ships but keep their distance once they have left the disputes the planes return to base. Back in the ZN the leading candidate for the ZN centralist party does a nationalist march Yelpa which is near the Cavirfi mainland. (350 KM approx)

The Coast Guard halts any further advance out of Cavirfi and begins patrol around the Cavirfite EEZ as usual. Crabaiaia and Cavirfi had signed a 1-month non-aggression pact (which is set to expire around October 22) so almost all Coast Guard patrol units are center on the border with Zarnicovia.

The Crabaiaian Coast Guard is alerted off possible minor disputes between Cavirfi and Zarnicovia about to occur but due to the aforementioned non-aggression pact they decide not to respomd on their side of the dispute out of fear of breaking the truce set between them and Cavirfi.

OOC: do you react to the closer of the border?

ZN forces set up major bunkers on the major island between ZN and Cavirfi mainland. Cavirfite's also notice on InterZ maps multiple blurred facilities on the island that look sus. Like missile bases but nothing can be comfirmed. Military excirses on the border areas increase. XMaX is put under pressure from politians to do something about their trains in Cavirfi but say they will stay nuetral.

The Coast Guard units patrolling the Coast are ordered to return to Bernchinshot immediately with Naval preparedness levels lowered as a reaction to the border closing.

The Prime Minister of the Small Novian Island nation of Jukalar said this about the Crisis:
"This is a move by ZN which has failed for them in the past. It is a political move to gain more power over trade. This could threaten our nation's trade routes. We hope ZN to drop their extremely large claims in the Li Govbrella Sea as they are a power grab and not welcomed." ZN president has not responded but her main rival for the upcoming election has dismissed the island nation and the Minister of Defense has gave a statement recongizing their concerns but saying that 'No such thing is true' ZN coutinues to claim the extremely large claims in the Li Govbrella Sea.

The Coast Guard, still confused, orders 3 fighter jets to begin patrol over the areas around Cavirfi's side of the Nova Arta sea but does not send any naval ships to patrol the other disputed areas.

ZN with an active military base in the disputed area sends up fighters into the disputed area before arriving with a full carrier fleet.
Meanwhile back in Zaricoa the Centralists are able to pass a bill officially resigning the treaty of Carliton for the 3rd time demanding a resolution(which would require all signers 4 of which don't exist anymore but all are either annexed or occupied by us) the other one is the US. Futher military excirsises would begin near the border and futher patrols by ZN naval groups. But in the land areas near dispute generally are less freindly to ZN and no not welcome seeing a large amount of force entering their land and have minor protests. ZN makes the excirses less visible to locals in response minorly by doing it all on non-inhabited(besides military) federal property allowing journalists in but banning them from posting anything in the locals. This is a succes most protests die out thinking ZN has left.

"Karaljœn kræp! (Fucking shit!)" one pilot says

"Anœ?! (What?!)" his co-pilot asks

"Mariners, forvarts! (Fleet, up ahead!)" the pilot responds

"Do we turn back?" the co-pilot asks

"Maybe. I don't know, just do something that won't escalate the situation." the Pilot says asking the co-pilot to think of the fighter's next move.

As the convoy of fighters get closer to the fleet, out of fear of starting a skirmish, the leader of the convoy says

"KRÆP, BALÆK! (SHIT, GO BACK!)" the leader yells on the telecom to the other pilots

The fighters turn back, hoping the Zarnicovian fleet didn't see them.

2 ZN fighter are dectected lifting off and following the planes but turn off once the Cavirfite planes exit the dispute are and land again.

"Zarnicovian fleet." the leader of the convoy responds

"Okay, do we send the Navy?"

"NO!" the leader requests his officer not to call the Navy.

"Why not? We inherited some of those islands from the militia when we created this state, do you want to just GIVE IT AWAY?!"

"Well...no" the leader says nervously

"I'm calling the Navy, and we are patrolling those waters." the officer responds

8:11 AM, Port of Bleshe, Cavirfi

"Hello, this is Port Bleshe how may I help you?" the officer in charge says picking up the phone.

"Yev, guten morgen (Yes, good Morning), uh, this is Fort Dsormere, send 5 frigates and a battleship to Nova Arta sea, then 10 frigates and 3 battleships to Li Govbrella." the officer there requests

"Understood!" the officer there says before hanging up the phone

The requested number of ships are sent to the requested zones.

ZN aircraft note the ships being sent and relay back to command. 2 days later a naval task force in the Li Govbrella sea did a massive show over a the border island in the middle with planes, cannons, and missiles. ZN ships sent out constant air units across the sea to patroll and sight any Cavirfite ships. Tensions rise as nearby island nations in the sea begin to back done against ZN as they pressure them. In Carliton the treaty papers are seized from the local museum and sent to the congress Libary.

(I should give a orbat of the fleet: 2 carriers, 60 corvettes, 26 cruisers, 8 destroyers, 4 nuclear subs, 10 non-nuclear subs, and 6 support ships. or ZN two carrier battlions)
The ships comply but do not respond whilst the planes hum around Some coutinue to move but far enough to be mostly out of range of the guns in the Cavirfi fort and try to go to a very small island(too small for me to add in the map because scale) which ZN owns. Coastal guard troops their block off the bridge to the Cavirfi side and bunker down incase if things go south.

The few ZN ships go over to that other island. The ZN fleet starts running low of fuel for their jets and non-nuclear craft and returns back to bases on the mainland. Some staying but the naval bases on the island can't hold much. Jet patrolls and excirses coutinue across the sea as ZN's senate countinues debating over the situation.
OOC: I will make a thread for the centralist party primaries and I also have a idea as right as the conflict in the nova arta sea gets hot have a MAS370 happen. Or a plane just disappear into no where to heighten tensions.

As the situation gets more tense, at the bridge at the 1st Battleship, the Captain and his 1st Lieutenant meet to discuss what to do next.

"Okay, I have a feeling we messed up here, there's an island right there." the Captain points at a small Cavirfite owned island that is encircled by larger Zarnicovian ones.

"I don't want to start a skirmish or anything, but we need to secure that island which is rightfully ours, do we send a frigate to secure that claim?"

"I don't know, it seems risky." the 1st Lieutenant says to the Captain

"Well, what do you propose?" the Captain asks him

"Well, okay, fine, send a frigate, actually I want 3 frigates there, one for the smaller island, and one for the larger island, the last one will patrol the islet." the 1st Lieutenant responds.

"Alright."

The Captain calls the Lieutenants running 3 frigates and requests them to move to the islands whose waters directly touch the Zarnicovian ones.

The Cavirfite Frigates assigned to the area arrive and begin patrol of it, they try to be careful to not accidentally cross into the Zarnicovian parts of the Jukol, they reassure the fleet.

"WE ARE NOT HERE TO MAKE CLAIM TO WHAT'S RIGHTFULLY YOURS, WE ARE HERE TO DEFEND WHAT'S RIGHTFULLY OURS."

Following an announcement by the Great Farmer, the Navy begins withdrawal of the disputed zones, but planted a Cavirfite flag to assert that "these are our islands" before sailing off.
