As the Southerners finally abandoned the unjust cause of Grand Duchess Helena, the Patuanian Expeditionary Armed Forces a crossed the border to restore order to the broken realm of Imarati, proclaiming Besarion as the true monarch of the small mountainous nation. Ever since the outbreak of the Imaratian Civil War, Patuania has quietly supported the efforts of Besarion and his traditionalists forces, clandestinely supplying them with weapons across the border.

Now Patuania openly supports Besarion’s Imarati as 10,000 soldiers and 200 tanks marched across the border under the command of Prince Voarok to restore order to Imarati under Besarion as part of the new alliance between the two nations, signed originally in secret between Paras Kanatus II and Patriarch Zakaria Melikishvili in Uugaatsiarniten. The new invasion is focused largely on the Imaratian coast, to defeat the last hold outs the Grand Duchess and the vast pockets of anarchy.

With the new invasion comes news of an engagement between King Besarion and Princess Kiayon, sister of the Paras. The engagement comes as a grim turn in regards not to Patuanian-Imaratian relations, but instead of Patuanian-Gosataborgian diplomatic relations, as it has long been lobbied by the Paras for the marriage of his sister to the Hereditary Prince Ragnar, which has iced relations between the countries. Patuania now turns it’s attentions to Imarati.

Coming hot on the heels of the Pataunian Invasion of Imarati, and likely pushed forward by the clear aggressiveness of the northern neighbor, the National Colficoan Navy has officially announced the launching of a new vessel, and the first of her kind to ever enter service with the Commonwealth, both before and after the time of despair. This new ship, the CNS Commonwealth, is the first in a planned class of six vessels, and is much larger than her pre-collapse counterpart, the CNS Colfico, however this size should not fool anyone, the CNS Commonwealth is anything but a poor substitute. Being capable of 33 knots, she will provide a level of power projection previously unprecedented within the nation of Colfico, courtesy of her massive compliment of eighty-five aircraft, currently consisting primarily of CF-7B Makos and the deadly new NF-1 Vulcan fighters, dedicated carrier borne fighters built off the lessons of the Southern War.

This surprising launch seems to have, at the very least, been pushed further along by the sudden aggression of Pataunia in Imarati, clearly setting off alarms within the National Assembly and National Colficoan Military, marking only one of a few seeming steps being taken to reinforce the Colficoan situation on its northern border, which includes the redeployment of the 14th Armored Division and 13th Armored Division to the Pataunian border, including two full brigades of H-1 Caiman Heavy Tanks. This redeployment is the results of concerns towards a turning of Patanuian aggression southward. Along with the two armored divisions, two mechanized divisions and the 3rd Air Corps, including the combat tested 4th Air Wing, veterans of the southern war, have also been deployed, including a full squadron of the deadly, delta winged CF-10 interceptors, the first true deployment of the new breed of interceptor built specifically to replace the Sailfish interceptors.

When questioned on the stance of the National Assembly on the matter of Imarati, the Prime Ministers response was simple and to the point.

"We are highly disappointed in the path that the conflict has taken, this unnecessary escalation of the conflict shall only make matters worse, and increase the bloodshed for all parties involved. However, as of this point, Colfico has no reason to become involved itself in the conflict, however, neither will we sit idly by as our northern neighbor partakes in an aggressive policy, so we must prepare ourselves for the possibility that aggression could be turned southwards, and we in the national assembly are prepared to take every step necessary to ensure the safety and security of the Commonwealth, we do not wish for a war, but that does not mean we are prepared to simply turn over and let it come to us."

Fall of Tsalenabani!

Thousands watched as Imaratian and Patuanian soldiers and lines of tanks rolled into the city of Tsalenabani, the great stronghold of the Red Council and broke the power of the oligarchic rebel government that had for years held power and sway over so much of the country. Already being pushed back by the unrelenting campaign of Gvasalia, with the addition of fresh reinforcements under Prince Voarok, the forces of the Red Council collapsed.

Meanwhile in Telasha, King Besarion was, in a modest ceremony, married to Kiayon of Patuania, the two proclaimed by Father Melikishvili as King and Queen. Meanwhile the forces of the king continue to sweep eastwards across the country and to close in on Potedia, the besieged stronghold of Grand Duchess Helena, which as become put under constant bombardment by artillery forces of both Imaratian and Patuanian guns.

King Besarion released a message to the entirety of the kingdom, proclaiming his reign to be the only legitimate authority over Imarati, the laws of the holy book to be the basis of his own laws and orders. Laws and orders he intends to assert from Soikon, the broken and anarchic old capital king held by various roving lords. It is to Soikon that Besarion has promised to bring about a final end of this rebellion against his holy reign.

As the eastern province falls to Turandan military occupation, the Lajastinean military, generally focused on coastal defense of population centers along the Southern Sea struggles to meet the invasion with any success. Meanwhile tens of thousands of people, largely comprised of the traditionally nomadic people of the nation along with the rural farmers of the Lajastinean grasslands and savannas have been displayed by the conflict.

Reports of abuse of civilians by Turandan forces and the burning of villages has sparked a mass internal migration as almost a hundred thousand people become refugees within their own country as they flee the frontlines and make their way towards the capital, flooding the already overpopulated city that continues to boil over both the failing war with Turanda and the lack of response in regards to social issues domestically. The government has reportedly become overwhelmed and Laja sits on the brink of anarchy occurring to some.

It is to this chaos that those who have seen their homes burned and fields salted by a foreign enemy, been forced to abandon their belongings and trek hundreds of miles across the sparsely populated interior of the Sultanate only to find no salvation is a city in chaos. A trend being seen across the coastal cities. With this panic racing across the country, many have started to try to get aboard Genoise and Colficoan ships managing the evacuation of foreign expats, with hundreds swarming docks and ports, wishing to escape a country at war.

Sultan Amessan II has remained silent behind the walls of his palace, while Prince Angemar has abandoned the Warhawks he himself stirred up in favor of leaving for Caraintos to comfort his recently widowed granddaughter, Princess Dowager Tasa. The legislative branch has thus far proven unable to agree on how to address the compounding crises.

Victory at Temissenfa!

Military Chief of Staff, recently appointed by State Counsellor Obasey, Adisa Oringo announced the success of the Turandan Armed Forces against the scrambling Lajastinean forces on the arid grassy fields of Temissenfa. The battle, sparked by a Lajastinean attack against a battalion of advancing Turandan by a similar sized force. The fighting is reported to have last roughly three days before the Turandans were able to force the Lajastinean attackers into a retreat.

This markers the latest in a growing line of victories in State Counsellor Fayola Obasey’s war against Lajastine. However even as Turandan forces March closer and closer towards the enemy capital, her continued dictatorial grip on matters within Turanda has begun to anger many as she has revoked the rights for those who might criticize the war against Lajastine and has sent more potential opponents to jail than even her predecessor and brother.

Despite this, Obasey continues to enjoy great popularity in Jinsi majority sections of the country, who also largely support the war effort. In contrast, Bendas has been put under tight martial law and is a city reduced to almost entirely silent, as no one dares raise a word.

While the Paras oversees the restoration of King Besarion to his rightful place as the true king of Imarati, with his sister, the newly minted Queen Kiayon at his side, and his brother Prince Voarok, it seems he is not yet done with using his family members as tools.

As the position and title of Paras is one that is elective, many branches of the Narikid Dynasty have held the position. This has produced an odd but at times useful political family tree. Famously, the branches of late Paras Kysasan and her half brother, Prince Nokkenas have not gotten along. However that is a matter for another time.

Instead our attention turns to that of the late Paras Mitalok, the ambitious General who rose to the position following the death of Kanatus I. Paras Mitalok first married Princess Zeha, daughter of Paras Voarok, and grand aunt of the present paras, but this marriage produced no children, and when Zeha died, Mitalok, determined to have a dynastic connection, remarried.

This second marriage was between Mitalok and Princess Voarok, aunt of the present Paras (Mitalok’ down niece-in-law). This short second marriage, produced the subject of this article, Princess Oruk, born shortly before her father’s death. The quasi Princess is thus a true member of the Narikid Dynasty.

18, Princess Oruk has been described as lovely, though not a rival of her cousin, Queen Kiayon. Instead, her mother, Princess Voarok has boasted her great intelligence, able to read, write and sing in Patuanian, Gosataborgian and Hyrukian, along with being instructed in conversation, riding, dancing, singing, and to play several musical instruments, said to be a protégée in playing the kantele.

Thus it seems something of a surprise to see her off to a southerners’ university, that if Ezikwizalo University in Derita. This moment, dissected by political analysts, has been review as a play of geopolitics, for it is the same university that the Deritain crown prince attends, and it is known that the Paras shares the Deritain Emperor’s dislike for the ‘Woman’s Republic’ of Colfico.

Or perhaps the young Princess simply wishes for a foreign education. Whatever the truth, that is the official statement issued by the student’s mother, Princess Voarok, who has never been known to voice an opinion on politics since the death of her husband. Though that does not mean she does not hold them.

The Princess Oruk and her mother set off from Patuania via ship and sailed across the Northern Sea and down the coast of the continent, making their way to the Deritain coast and from there to the university. Princess Voarok has thus, in all but name, become effectively a Patuanian envoy to the southerner court.

There has been nothing but chaos in the ports, as Colficoan troops, ships and aircraft have been working tirelessly around the clock in near hellish conditions to keep the flow of refugees moving, and doing their best to keep everyone calm. In a display of logistical brilliance, Chamberlain Skotnicki has adapted to the sudden increase in the demand for more transports with two solutions. Fist, he has ordered the deployment of all available Auxiliary Ships, and has even committed the fleets Fleet Tender, the CNS Owen Sound, to the evacuation effort, managing a steady flow of ships. However, in a display of understanding of the desperation of the situation, Chamberlain Skotnicki has put out a call for additional Volunteer ships, both Colficoan and otherwise, to assist in the Evacuation of refugees. It has become a common sight to see Colficoan ships loaded well past capacity with refugees, with the watch full, guarding guns of the navy providing a protective shield, the CNS Alexander often itself escorting leaving and arriving ships into and out of port, the Navy is certainly stretched thin with the forces that it has on station, and Chamberlain Skotnicki has already put out a request for additional reinforcements from the navy to assist in the evacuation, however this had lead to many within the National Assembly to express great concern. It is clear that, should Colficoan Soldiers remain where they are, it is likely that a battle shall ensue once contact is made with Turandan forces, however, the Chamberlain had this to say to one of our reporters on the matter.

"We were tasked with evacuating as many refugees as possible, we all know the risks, and, if we must, we will stand and fight as long as we can to keep these ports open. The conspiracies and tyrannies of a dictator may intimidate the Turandans at home, but it will not intimidate us, and we shall not sit idly by and watch as people die when we can do something about it. Everyone under my command knows the risk, and I have no doubt that many would refuse to leave until they had to even if I gave the order to leave."

This marks a truly gargantuan effort by the National Colficoan Navy in the face of an even larger and more difficult task at hand, and there are even reports of Navy sailors commandeering local fishing craft and ferries to help aide the evacuation effort, using these smaller vessels transport who they can to the nearby nation of Genes. Many in the National Assembly and Navy have already taken to calling the Evacuation the Battle of Lajastine, and all signs seem to suggest that a battle is indeed coming, and only time will tell if the Colficoan soldiers on site are prepared for the battle to come.

As the nation continues to mourn the untimely death of Crown Prince Davios two months ago, we are happy to announce a glimmer of hope in the birth of his posthumous child.We are happy to state that Her Royal Highness, the Princess Dowager, was safely delivered, at the Royal Palace, of a Princess at half past nine this morning. The Members of the Privy Council along with the Gentlemen of the late Crown Prince’s Household were in attendance as well. Queen Mereya and Prince Angemar of Lajastine, grandmother and great-grandfather of the newborn Princess respectively were at the Princess Dowager’s side. The Princess Dowager and Princess are both well.

The Princess, whose name has not yet been released, is the only child of the late Crown Prince and as such is the heir presumptive to the throne, a position that has never been firmly held by a woman. The Princess’s great-grandmother, Princess Jaena of Caraintos was made her father’s heir as part of the Pragmatic Sanction of 2069, which let women ascend the throne. This was made when she married her cousin, the male-line heir, Davios of Caraintos, joining the two lines. There was debate over if Jaena or Davios would be the true monarch, or if they would rule as co-monarchs, however this was made null by their deaths in 2087 and 2111, dying before King Jayse I and leaving the throne unequivocally to his grandson.

No other male line descendants of the first king of Caraintos, Leandor de Cressey I however, just making the Princess the last of the dynasty.

As Queen Adriana sent her congratulations on the birth of Princess Vaella of Caraintos, a new announcement brings joy a bit closer to home. Princess Marie, acknowledged heiress to her sister the Queen of Colfico, announced via bulletin that she and her husband Prince Louisof Great Hyruke are expecting their first child. The Princess announced that she is already three weeks along, having wanted to tell friends and family before making a public announcement.

The Prince and Princess like many of the continent’s royals as newly weds have embraced the starting of a family, just months after their marriage and a relationship of over two years. Prince Louis’ brother, Prince Charles, who married Princess Alara of Derita, were blessed with a child within a year of their marriage. The Duchess of Hyrea and Prince Loris similarly had their twin daughters barely more than nine months after their lavish wedding.

With the Royal couple expecting, there have been some questions raised, but questions the Princess has been quick to answer. The child will be a prince or princess of Colfico, entitled to the address of His/Her Highness, and will be second-in-line to the throne. The child will take the house name of Godey, following Hyrukian tradition, and hold no Hyrukian titles nor citizenship. Even in so brief a time, bets have been placed on what the child will be named.

With the expectation of a niece or nephew for Queen Adriana, in contrast to responses to Marie’s wedding, the urging for the Queen to marry has fallen away, seen by a more moderate section of the populace as unnecessary. Regardless, Queen Adriana continues to remain silent on all matters of her personal relationships, simply expressing her happiness for her sister and brother-in-law.

Announcement of Royal Engagement

After months of searching, the Gosataborgian Hereditary Prince, Ragnar, has found a bride. Prince Ragnar, the popular future Grand Duke, has been entertaining a series of women in search for a wife both he and his father approved of. The list of women who tossed her hat into the ring for a ring, is quite extensive, even impressive, from the now Queen Kiayon of Imarati, to the Colficoans journalist Amayah Henderson. The Victor however is neither, nor one of the other half a dozen princesses considered. Instead it is Lady Alice Barbon, the twenty year old daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Garmouth.

Prince Ragnar and Lady Alice meet on a boating trip in Great Hyruke and quickly got along well with. Reportedly the families of the Vastas and the Barbons have gotten along well. The match has been deemed by many as non-political, for better or for worse, so to Alice’s family’s lack of a kingdom of their own and no apparent benefit for Gosataborg over the match outside that of the royal family. The Grand Duke and Grand Duchess have expressed their great joy at their son finding love and have set for the wedding to occur soon, to be a grand affair to celebrate the Union between the two.

Unveiling of Portrait of Queen Adriana

Laurent Rohan, son of the Duke of Maine and alumn of the Aurelains Art Academy has unveiled the first of his commissioned project. A mix of Rohan's familial connections and the subject of the artist's work has lead to an interest in the piece of art. Rohan follows in the footsteps of his father, Jean Rohan who was known for his paintings of abstraction of portraits. Rohan attended the Aurelains Art Academy from 2122 to 2126, with most of his following works being landscapes of the northern Derita and coastal settlements. Rohan was visiting the Queen of Colfico when he showed her a portfolio of his work, and she offered to commission a piece for her official portrait. The sitting took over ten hours and following that a further 60 hours with Rohan working from a studio given to him by Queen Adriana.

The portrait itself presented a seated Queen Adriana in a red taffeta dress, the same dress that the young queen wore during her coronation earlier this year along with the Crown of Colfico, a beautiful diamond piece with a central blue moonstone, the River Rose, gifted to the queen by the Visari Order. She is also seen wearing the Princess Amelie Necklace, a three-stringed diamond necklace with an added moonstone, a gift from the Duchess of Hyrea, along with the Godey Brooch, and a pair of diamond earrings crafted by Joyi & Co. The Queen also wore the star of her knighthood given to her shortly before she ascended the throne. The regalia of the portrait shows off the slowly growing new crown jewels of the Godey Family.

Ottokar Janecek sworn in as Marshal of Raudoyan Revolutionary Council

Col Ottokar Janecek has been sworn is as Raudoya’s interim head of state after leading a coup which saw the overthrow of the previous government that was largely seen as a bloated and corrupt body. The former Raudoyan People’s Legionnaire, 40, becomes the continent’s newest state leader.
Col Janecek is planning to oversee future nationwide elections under plans to restore civilian rule announced this week.

Speaking at the Parliamentary Palace in Volya, the new marshal said his mission was to "refound the state under a strong enlightened potentate" by writing a new constitution, tackling corruption, changing the electoral system and putting in place "free, credible and transparent" elections, according to the RSN news agency.

Raudoya’s military lead provisional government, the Raudoyan Revolutionary Council, has not specified how long it would take to organise elections. But it says anyone who took part in the old corrupt government, which includes the two hundred and twenty-nine assembly delegates who were detained, will be barred from standing for election. The military coup leaders detained the delegates, after their takeover, with Col Janecek assuring the international media they were with them in a "safe place."

Before his rise to power the colonel maintained a low profile, but what makes him stand out is his international military experience, according to Northern Sea Regional Political Analyst Pioter Dessewski. The colonel trained abroad and served in the People’s Legionnaires, a socialist paramilitary group. During his 15-year military career, Col Janecek served in missions in across the continent in various civil wars, skirmishes and rebellions.

Marshal Janecek ends public dissent and subterfuge.

Marshal Ottokar Janecek, for the safety of the country and the revolution, has signed off on several new laws drafted by the Raudoyan Revolutionary Council in order to keep the peace and prevent misinformation and threats from rising in the country or from outside its borders. The new laws expand the authority of the central government’s hold on the economy, establishing a state lead system, as well as making military service for all citizens age twenty-one or older compulsory.

Marshal Janecek also signed off on the dissolving of the privilege of public protest as a sign of dangerous dissent that can not be tolerated in a growing nation state. Gatherings of more than thirty people must now be registered with the Raudoyan Civil Congregational Services before hand and the occupation, disruption or further inappropriate usage of public space has been made a federal offense.

Gambling and books depicting dangerous, anti-social or otherwise offense language have been banned as a threat to the moral fiber of the nation. The Raudoyan National Library has issued the release of a list of acceptable books and encourages all citizens to visit their local branches to learn more, asserting that knowledge is power and keep communities safe, dangerous and harmful rhetoric, such as racism, misogyny and subversive ideas must be kept out.

Marshal Janecek declares Martial Law.

Marshal Ottokar Janecek, for the safety of the Federation, has declared a state of martial law across the country until further notice, handing over all policing duties directly to the People’s Armed Forces. With this new announcement comes a new nationwide curfew set at sundown each evening, in order to prevent the occasions and/or inclination of criminal activity under the darkness of night.

The state curfew is to be informed by the military by all means necessary with the punishment for disobeying being a federal offense, resulting in fines, arrest and until to three months in prison and hard labor for these crimes that harm the safety of Raudoyan society. The state of martial law comes along with a new program for identification of citizens within the country requiring ID cards on them at all times. Failure to keep these ID cards on one’s person is a heavy fine and three days in jail.

Marshal Janecek also over saw the signing of a new law making organ donation compulsory in order to aid in the country’s scientific and medicinal programs and pursuits. The policies of Marshal Janecek continue to be exemplary of his stated attitude of the community must come first, asserting that these policies, while at first inconvenient, will in the love term see Raudoya made in to a safe and secure society.

Marshal Janecek declares becomes Chief of State for Life

Marshal Ottokar Janecek, for the safety of the Federation, has been declared by the Raudoyan Revolutionary Council as the, following a nationwide plebiscite which saw 98.7% approval, as the sole supreme leader of Raudoya. Marshal Janecek has been given absolute authority over the executive, legislative and judicial branches of government as well as retaining command of the Raudoyan Armed Forces. Marshal Janecek solemnly thanked the members of the Raudoyan Revolutionary Council, who, over the last four weeks have faithfully served their countrymen.

“You have done great work here,” Marshal Janecek stated before the council, “you have served your nation well, and not it is time for you to rest, to retire, and to return home.” The marshal’s statement was followed by the formal dissolving of the Raudoyan Revolutionary Council, which was met with thunderous applause. Marshal Janecek, in thanks for the support of the people, provider the former statesmen with a suitably lavish banquet to be enjoyed with their wives and children. At the end of the night they were gathered up and escorted in long lines of limousines to their homes.

With sole authority resting on the shoulder of the Marshal, Janecek has sworn to do all in his power to uphold the great burden, to forever serve his people and his country, till the end of his life, for that is how great his love is for Raudoya. The Marshal promised to improve the livelihood of all Raudoyans and to keep their nation safe and secure from threats within and without. The Marshal also welcomed the arrival of Dasorresan Ambassador Tara Santos and Hantuonian Ambassador Mikonov Lankovic, marking the recognition of Raudoya on the international stage.

Throughout Volya, thousands took to the streets, waving Raudoyan flags as the Marshal reviewed the troops, who marched through the capital in their stylish new uniforms, brandishing Raudoyan made Velký Hrdina or VH-1 rifles. Cheers for the Marshal went on for nearly an hour as he waved to the people, with many crying tears of joy as they welcomed the arrival of the Champion of the People, with the Raudoyan First Patriotic Regiment presenting the Marshal with a military salute to mark the beginning of his rule.

Marshal Janecek sets punitive actions for emigration

---

Marshal Ottokar Janecek, for the safety of the Federation, has closed the borders of Raudoya for citizens who would abandon the nation, making emigration illegal and those found attempting to do so being stripped of their material property and all other assets seized by the National government to be redistributed at government direction.

Though emigration has been banned, the government plans on allowing limited visits and holidays to approved countries for time spans of no more than three weeks. Citizens wishing to visit other nations will be able to apply to do so at the National Civilian Travel Bureau, who will then, if one is approve, given travel visas.

Currently travel visas are open to travel to Dasorres, Hantuonia and Patuania, though it is a list that is likely subject to change in the coming future. And while such limitations exist for Raudoyan citizens, conversely it doesn’t for foreign visitors, who Marshal Janecek has welcomed to come to cities in Raudoya to experience the great culture of the federation.

Sorrow fills the hearts of all of Caraintos as we solemnly must report the death of Jayse the Second, King of Caraintos today at 11:28 pm.

The period of mourning has only just ended for the Royal Court of Caraintos and King Jayse and Queen Mereya were hosting a ball to celebrate the baptism of their granddaughter, Princess Vaella, with Princess Dowager Tasa and her grandfather Prince Angemar of Lajastine in attendance when jealous death chose to strike once against the House of Cressey.

The King and Queen were dancing on the ballroom floor when the king suddenly collapsed to the shock and horror of all. The court doctor, Asten Saltcliffe was quickly called upon to aid the fallen monarch, who determined that Jayse II, though only 57 had suffered a serious stroke. The court watched in horror as the king was carried away to his private chambers.

In the private chambers of Tasario Palace, Dr. Saltcliffe attempted to get oxygen to the monarch’s brain, but was able to do so resulting a loss of life. Dr. Saltcliffe grimly pronounced the death of Jayse II at 11:28 pm. Queen Mereya, having in just a matter of months lost both her son and husband, was said to be despondent.

Amidst her tears however, Princess Dowager Tasa, standing with her grandfather quickly proclaimed, “the King is dead, long live the Queen”, speaking of her infant daughter, the posthumous child of Crown Prince Davios. The rest of the court, realizing this, took up the statement, proclaiming, “Long live the Queen.”

King Jayse II ruled for eighteen years, his reign one dedicated to the recovering of Caraintos following the Great Collapse. With his death, the last male of the House of Cressey passes and he is succeed by his granddaughter, the first female monarch in Caraintese History. The young ruler will need a regent, presumably in the form of her mother, the Princess Dowager.

The King is dead. Her Majesty, Queen Vaella of Caraintos now reigns. Long live the Queen!

Jiralian Avionics Unveils XK-11 Viper, has been Adopted as the CF-11 Viper

While much of the NCAFs attention has been on the ever expected Skinwalker Project, it has not been the only project, not by far, being conducted by the various Aviation manufacturers within Colfico. Jiralian Avionics, a relative newcomer to the Aviation Industry, has been undertaking a project to manufacture a Mach 3 capable interceptor, the first of its kind, anywhere, to be built following the Great Collapse. This has proven to be a challenging undertaking for the upstart company, however, it would seem that they have succeeded in that goal. This mornig, a 08:00, Jiralian Avionics conducted a presentation, and demonstration, in front of most of the upper brass of the National Colficoan Air Force, as well as Prime Minister Arjun Wes, and three other National Assembly Ministers. The large aircraft seemed puzzling at first, however, all doubt was soon extinguished as the demonstration began. The aircraft took off at 8:45, and made Colficoan history, marking the single fastest Colficoan built aircraft to ever take flight, as it hit a top speed of 3,192 kilometers per hour, and preceeded to perform a transnational trip in a single flight, flying to the western border, and then across the nation to the eastern one, and finally back to the airfield where it had been unveiled, with the entire flight taking a mere 25 minutes to complete from start to finish, a remarkable display of speed, especially over such a distance. The aircrafts speed however is not its only useful attribute, as was demonstrated when it destroyed a flight of targets, four converted CF-8 Fighter-Bombers, destroying all four in a single, lighting quick pass with its four 23mm cannons. Following the demonstration, there was some debate within the brass, but it would seem that the aircraft has been officially accepted into military service, with the NCAF having placed an order for 55 examples, with possibly more to follow depending on the performance of the production aircraft.

There are those outside the military however, who believe that the adoption of the CF-11 Viper was not merely a move on the military side of things, but also a message, and a result of the increased tensions being seen on the continent. The CF-11 Viper is a clear statement that the NCAF has no intention of simply sitting back and watching events unfold. While there are those that question the wisdom of sending such a message, there is no doubt that CF-11 definitely sends a message, and a very loud one

Marshal Ottokar Janecek, for the safety of the Federation, has approved the formation of the People's Worker Organization (PWO) to serve as a worker's lead force in assisting the concerns and dolling out of regional tasks, most mainly focused around the massive trout fishery trade, which is one of the largest sectors of the economy along with the catching of tuna, herring, and sturgeon. As part of his national plan for the modernization and industrialization of the Raudoyan economy, the Marshal demonstrated the need for better infrastructure and more industry by flying around the city of Volya in a Vinian Aviation V-3 Club, a small Colficoan built aeroplane, before landing in a field and stepping out, calling for Raudoya to do as the southerners had done and built up machinery.

"This could be here, this should be built here, we can do it, and we can do it better!" the Marshal proudly declared before ordering that the very field he had landed in be the site for a new aeroport for connecting Volya and the rest of the continent.

Marshal Ottokar Janecek, for the safety of the Federation, has allowed the People’s Worker Organization of Vysorovsk, in charge of the only major international seaport in Raudoya and one of the most vital on the Northern Sea, to negotiate with the Colficoan company, Vinian Aviation the operating of a factory in Vysorovsk.

As part of the Marshal’s industrialist efforts has approved of the formation of a special economic quarter in Vysorovsk. The PWU Vysorovsk and Vinian Aviation have agreed to the creation of a factory staffed by local Raudoyans manufacturing Vinian Aviation products, while the company has agreed to fund expansion of the port.

The PWU Vysorovsk has embarked on a campaign of bringing foreign investors to the city, citing the lower labor costs and abundance of labor force in Raudoya. It continues to push the Marshals goal of improving the Raudoyan economy, which has slowly been improving over the last few weeks.

Marshal Janecek legalizes Same-sex Marriage and Polygamy

Marshal Ottokar Janecek, for the safety of the Federation, has legalized polygamous marriages amidst the rise of the Pozarites a growing faction of the recently created Reformed Church of Raudoya, calling for the right to take multiple wives. As open debate brought out over the issue the Marshal stepped in, taking a radical stance, legalizing various forms of marriage across the country.

A system of concubinage has been put into all, allowing for a citizen to take up to three secondary recognized relationships. The new law, giving no legal distinction between sex or gender effectively legalized same-sex marriage. The law however does have limitations, allowed Raudoyans only one spouse, wife or husband, who enjoys chief status in the law and in inheritance.

Children produced by concubines are also granted lesser status under the law, secondary to the children a married couple. The right to take a concubine is also dependent of being granted a state approved seal and adhering to the patriotic and spiritual tenets of the Reformed Church of Raudoya. The passing of the law has been taken as a sign of the great progressive nature of Raudoya under the Marshal.

Colfico Western Unveils KA-616 Engine, The First Diesel Locomotive ever built in Colfico

Throughout history, people have sought better ways to move both people and goods from one location, to another, and sometimes over great distances. While over air and sea, this is accomplished through the use of aircraft and ships respectively, or even a combination of the two. Over land, nothing can quite match the sheer moving power of a locomotive, however, Colfico has historically been behind when it comes to the capability of its locomotives, particularly those which have been built locally. This has often proven a set back for many a project, including the many infrastructural projects being undertaken as of lately. However, that seems set to change in a very drastic manner. One of the largest domestic rail companies, Colficoan Western, has unveiled Engine CW-47, the first production model of the new KA-616 Diesel-Electric engine. Boasting an impressive 1,600 horsepower, imparted onto six axles. While not exactly the most aesthetically pleasing of locomotives, that is not its purpose, instead, this big diesel is built to haul cargo, and lots of it. However, there are also plans to use the engine to haul non-express passengers as well.

Colficoan Western has given a statement confirming plans to order another 450 engines from its production plant, with at least four other rail companies in Colfico having placed orders for a further 350 engines,with likely more to come as the rail network is expanded even further than it already stretches. While no one is sure, it would certainly seem that Colficoan Western is on the fast tracks to success.

Marshal Janecek approves Federal Highway System

Marshal Ottokar Janecek, for the safety of the Federation, has announced the start of a federal project designed to better connect the disparate regions of the country. The new act sets standardized measurements and construction methods for a system of highways that shall connect the various provinces of the Federation. It shall be funded by federal tax payments on both individual purchase on imported goods and provincial government payments to the central government.

Marshal Janecek has appointed civil engineer Oskar Rmoutil as Chief Designer of the highway system. Rmoutil has been given a large task force of engineers, designers and landscapers to be aided in the aspects of its construction by a military council. The project shall not only connect the country in economic forms but also in connecting military bases across the Federation in defense from those who might pose threats to the people of Raudoya.

Assassination attempt on Marshal Janecek!

In a cowardly act, a conspiracy of radicals has attempted to strike down the great Marshal of Raudoya, but as all cowards are bound to do, have failed in their villainous venture in their attempt to assassinate Ottokar Janecek. Marshal Janecek was leaving the groundbreaking ceremony of the Federal Highway System on the north side of the capital city of Volya, escorting his wife, First Lady Tolla Janecek, to their state town car to return back to the executive mansion, when the cowardly attackers struck and fired on the Marshal. Recently appointed Chief Designer Oskar Rmoutil, who was standing next to the couple, speaking with the Marshal, was shot, believed by accident, while the Marshal's bodyguard, Boris Simek was shot twice as he tackled one of the attackers. A second guard, Jakub Koremarek was able to subdue the second attacker while Marshal Janecek was able to get his wife to safety.

The Marshal himself was unharmed and Rmoutil has been rushed to the hospital. Simek however, unfortunately, was pronounced dead on the scene, having given his life in patriotic duty, becoming a martyr against those who would wish to destabilize the nation. In the wake of the failed attempt on the life of Ottokar Janecek, it has been revealed that the attackers were Svatopluk Kraus and Bohuslav Hlavac, working with members of the dissolved Revolutionary Council and the old corrupt government, led by Matouš Válek, General Ctibor Mares and Sebastian Petr. The homes of the three men were quickly raided, and under police questioning, Mares and Petr admitted to conspiring to overthrow the government and seize power for themselves. Válek himself committed suicide while in police custody, leaving behind a signed confession and list of all conspirators in the December plot.

While the members of the December plot have been rounded up, Marshal Janecek has asserted that the nation must grow stronger to prevent similar plots from occurring, asserting that it is up to the people of Raudoya for the future of Raudoya to be stable and prosperous. The Marshal also announced that he has been working on a new People's Constitution with lawyer David Machacek and historian philosopher, Svatoslav Vitak.
