INTRODUCTION:
Portmont International Airport (IATA: PMT, IACO: MAPT) is a government-owned airport that serves the capital district of Mirum. The airport is located five miles in the NE direction outside of Portmont, Mirum. The airport has two terminals, Domestic (A) and International (B). It was opened in 1964, replacing the now defunct Portmont National Aerodrome. The airport usually serves medium-sized (max dimensions: 146ft long, 118ft wingspan) aircraft, however, can accommodate smaller (max dimensions: 100ft long, 110ft wingspan) aircraft, or even heavy (max dimensions: 240ft long, 266ft wingspan) aircraft. There are four runways: Runway 35, Runway 01, Runway 27, and Runway 09. Transportation between terminals is provided via a monorail known as the SkyLine Rail System (a Mirian National Rail Service subsidiary), which also services Portmont. Transportation to and from the airport is possible via road, allowing MirumBus shuttle services. Taxis also service the airport. Parking is available for up to one month for a flat rate of ten NSD (NationStates Dollars).
