Afghanistan exports newly found resources to India
Many valuable natural resources were found in Afghanistan recently. These included many valuable gems, cooper, and even traces of uranium, with the latter expected to be found in much higher quantities if given enough equipment. As the materials are being exported due to a recent trade agreement, India's economy has grown. This, coupled with tax cuts, has heightened GDP growth to an expected 10% increase by years end. Japanese and Ottoman companies offered India and Afghanistan rentable mining stations and crews to dig deeper down.

Assassination Attempt on Earl Browder causes dictator to fall into coma!
Earl Browder has suffered an assassination attempt. On a stroll through DC, the tyrant was gunned down. The source-an angry Federalist, despaired over MacArthur's loss. Browder is in a coma, but expected to recover. This has somewhat hindered USSA morale, and a few people believed he did die and started rioting, though they were supressed.

Somali Emperor founds African Ecological Society
With the recent animal protection laws in Somalia, the Emperor has went a step further, and founded the African Ecological society. Dedicated to showing the beauty and threats to African Wildlife, the society has been commended by various African governments, and even other leaders such as Ferdinand I of Bulgaria.
