Many valuable natural resources were found in Afghanistan recently. These included many valuable gems, cooper, and even traces of uranium, with the latter expected to be found in much higher quantities if given enough equipment. As the materials are being exported due to a recent trade agreement, India's economy has grown. This, coupled with tax cuts, has heightened GDP growth to an expected 10% increase by years end. Japanese and Ottoman companies offered India and Afghanistan rentable mining stations and crews to dig deeper down.

The huge American bulge inside Mexico has been smashed to pieces by the People's Republic, Baja California, and the Yucatanese. The USSA, in their dual delirium and intelligence, attempted to cut off Baja California by pushing into one territory. However, communard supplies and guerilla sabotage have ensured a miraculous victory despite the huge number of troops. The penetrating punch was therefore destroyed. The Bulge has collapsed to the north, and many in the USSA have urged the government to recognize Mexico, though with Browder's condition, the legality of this is debatable. Speaking of debatable, the Mexicans cheered at Browder's apparent death, though the news corrected themselves to saying he had a stroke, even if Browder was actually shot.

El Salvador falls into civil war!

With the continuing blockade of El Salvador due to its fall to totalism, the republican forces have risen up in the country. Formed of soldiers, farmers, middle class people, and even former politicians, and ranging from even more anti-German to extremely pro-German, they have begun gaining power outside the capital. Of course, with the Haiti crisis, Germany likely can't intervene to help them, and may even have to recall ships, because more and mroe of their Haitian ones are sinking at faster and faster rates.

Rebels grow stronger in Arabia!

The army of the united front in Arabia has grown in strength. They have seemingly gotten new weapons and troops from somewhere, managing to hold the line and bleed the Rashidi's. At this point, many believe it is no longer Japans work, as it would gain nothing from Arabia. However, the Americans are to focused on Mexico, while the Germans are seemingly allied with the Ottomans. Many now blame rabid idealogue's in France, and some believe India may be exerting its own influence in the cold war.

USSA withdraws from Mexico!

Browder has awoken from his coma, and while his health is frail, the dictator has taken back control after his cronies ruled the nation for him. The Mexicans have somehow advances on the Americans, and lost barely any men. This, along with the destruction of the Bulge and loss of morale due to the assassination attempt on Browder, caused the USSA to withdraw from Mexico. Austria and Serbia sign peace deal, Montenegro declares independence

The Austrians have forced the Serbian government into finally peacing out with them. The coastline the Austrians wanted was handed back. Montenegro has declared independence, but they said they don't claim the Austrian coastline and want to remain a part of Austria. The Second Serbian Republic was thus proclaimed. The Serbian government, after consenting to the peace deal, asked the Austrians to authorize them to recognize Montenegro's independence, recognize Albania's retaking of some of their lands the Tito government took, and to allow the government to give Bulgaria Kosovo, which it wants. The Austrians send some troops to the German forces in Haiti inside large ships, which is good because at this point the amount of men Germany has lost to its ships sinking of loss of fuel is over 5000.

A group of federalist demonstrators in Iran have finally begun sabotage activities. Calling themselves the "Azeri Liberation Front", they are primarily democratic or socialist in nature. President Vasily Boldyrev Changes Certain Policies
MOSCOW - President Vasily Boldyrev has changed certain policies to please many groups in Russia.

The following changes are:
1. Costs for most policies are lowered to avoid an economic crisis. The Russian government would like to see some investment from foreign governments to help kickstart the Russian economy.
2. The Russian welfare state has changed from being large to being moderate, which means it is neither large nor small, but still effective. This would help quell the risk of economic fallout in Russia.
3. Despite calls for national unity, there will be plans for political autonomy among ethnic minorities in Russia. This would help quell further ethnic discrimination in Russia, while keeping the whole country united.
4. Fair competition shall remain mandatory and unfair practices are still illegal, but foreign businesses won't have to pay higher taxes. This would help quell dissatisfaction among foreign businesses, especially German ones.

So far, these changes shall help minimize backlash and maximize approval, according to certain members of the Russian Parliament. On the other hand, President Vasily Boldyrev will unveil more policies.

Russia Demands A Free Mongolia
MOSCOW - The Russian government has now called on Savinkovists to end their occupation of Mongolia. This came after Nikolai Berzarin refused to go through with an ultimatum from the Russian government earlier this year. President Vasily Boldyrev has made it clear that his govenrment would wholeheartedly support the Mongol rebellion and liberate Mongolia, as well as repair relations between Russia and Mongolia. He is currently planning on sending a message to Mongol rebels.

Mikhtim Enters Mass Production
IZHAEVSK - The "Mikhtim", an automatic battle rifle designed by Mikhail Kalashnikov, will be entering mass production as a response to the continued occupation of Mongolia. It is unknown if this is accurate, but the Russian Army couldn't respond to the press at the moment, mostly due to secrecy. Over 500 Mikhtims are expected to be produced and then shipped to the Mongol rebels in two months. The Russian reforms have passed through parliament, with great support from the Rejuvenation League and Autonomists. The government seemingly indicated that it still plans to make more costly policies to help more people, but only after foreigninvestments, which will likely be an issue in Russias German, French, and Austrian allies. Mexico begins demobilizing, experiences severe architect immigration!

Following their victory over America, Mexico has become a lot more serene. The country has seen an influx of architects this week, many from the Balkans and Eastern Europe, where brutalism is dominant, and France, where futurism is. The influx has also introduced French and eastern European culture to Mexico, which was also assisted by the Austrian troops that remained. This, coupled with the oil, will likely inspire many developments in the country for years to come.

Germany invades Haiti, all but Capital falls!

Haiti has been invaded by a huge flux of German troops. The Haitians held surprisingly well after the first day, prompting all troops to be sent in. However, the troops stopped at the capital, which, due to being filled with Cuban troops, could provoke Cuban aggression. Sabotage was rampant during the active phase, but has stopped now. Many are looking for ways to rid the capital of the Cubans without technically being agressive, though some have suggested going in or withdrawing from Haiti.

Protests in Liberia crushed!

The socialist protests in Liberia were crushed by government forces. Following this, president Tubman instituted reforms to appease the workers, while curbing legislative power on dealing with protestors. Universal Healthcare Passed in German East Asia!

German East Asia passed a important bill in the nation. The bill guarantees universal healthcare privileges for all, funded directly by the government. Sigmund was fixing himself tea. The news seemed minor to him this morning, and the 44-year old news reporter was moderately tired. He sipped the tea, and came to add sugar to it when he found it not sweet enough. As he came for the sugar, however, he saw movement in the forest. Exiting his house, he saw it was none other than the Statthalter-Hellmuth von Mücke. The radioman wondered why he visited him again, but it was a pleasant surprise.

"Salutations, Statthalter Mücke!" Sigmund said, hurrying down. He noticed, however, that Mücke brought company. The two tall men looked at each other-Sigmund with confusion, Mücke with sorrow. "Mücke, my friend" Sigmund said, keeping his smile. "What is this?" Mücke sighed. "I have received an arrest warrant from the German government for you. It says you have leaked state secrets. Personally, I wouldn't have made this a crime, but if I didn't arrest you, the elites in Berlin would finally advise the Kaiser to get rid of me. As such, Alexander L. Sigmund, you are under arrest."

The troops grabbed the radio reporter, cuffing him. Alexander still maintained his smile. "Are the others going?" Sigmund said. "No." the Statthalter replied. "Ah, good. Well then, hopefully I'll get a better explanation on my arrest in the metropole." As such, Sigmund was carried away. "So what did I do to make you arrest me?" He said to the two soldiers holding him. "Unclear." The one on the right said. "But orders are orders." Through the jungle road they went, but all through the walk, and all the way to the capital of Germany, Sigmund never broke his smile.

Lovecraft couldn't believe it. Germany, the country that loved his books the most and held his studio for the longest time, had arrested him in prison for something his "boss" did. Reports have emerged the Mexicans have assembled on the border of Guatemala. The Zapatistas comments on the proposed spread of revolution have fueled the speculation. Nationalist grow in German East Asia as Colonial Society Party founded!

Following Mückes universal healthcare bill, the colonies richest have picked two opposing sides of the power struggle for independence. Vietnamese nobles have aligned with the radical nationalists to promote immediate independence. The German plantation owners, however, created a new Colonial Society Party, or Partei der Kolonialgesellschaft. Nationalist coup in Costa Rica!

The government of Costa Rica, long supported by German Coffee companies in the region, has been overthrown in a nationalist coup. The nationalists had attacked a socialist march, prompting police action, who the socialists fought in confusion. With the police joining the nationalists before being defeated by them after the socialists were dealt with, the military and nationalist militias rode into parliament, deposed the president, killed various important figures, and declared a defensive council. The Defensive Council told the Germans it wished to negotiate on the status of their company.

Zapatistas invade Guatemala

With many militias from the Zapatistas assembled on the Southern border, they've begun to cross and begun to fight, the Zapatista part of the Triumvirate has also given a speech on national radio which basically calls for the liberation of Guatemala from Imperialism, and to establish a free Guatemala no longer bound to foreign interests, they also have called for others in Mexico to aid in the fight, which some militias from upper north have decided to join the fight, skirmishes on the border are happening against Guatemalan forces.

The Communards have reacted by supporting the resolution, but they say that once Guatemala is liberated it should be made an integral part of the People's Republic, meanwhile the Magonistas while also supporting the invasion by the Zapatistas say that Guatemala should only be made into a state-aligned to the People's Republic left to progress themselves, the Zapatistas answer by saying that Guatemala should be a supervised state until sufficiently adapted to the Mexican model to socialism as called by some minor intellectuals in Mexico City, though understandably, some fear that the People's Republic may become like the bastards north of the border.

With the Serbian government in no way to decline Austria signs the peace deal for them troops in mexico are withdrawn however many have died been captured or deserted. Armed with Marmon-Herrington CTLS, Sentinel tanks and M36 tank destroyers, they took up positions on the Place L'Ouverture, opposite the National Palace. They had around 10,000 soldiers in the city in total, trained and armed. To billet and supply them all, the Cuban Ministry of War authorised the military occupation of Port-au-Prince, recquistioning food and supplies for the soldiers.

Meanwhile, a merchant fleet of 28 cargo ships and two replenishment ships were called together from across Cuba. In a few days they would sail to Port-Au-Prince and evacuate the population. Meanwhile thousands more soldiers, equipped with more equipment and aircraft, would be deployed. 18 P-51 Mustangs would also scramble, preparing for as many as 50 sorties in the next few weeks.

Finally, orders were given to blockade Haiti from the sea and air. The Cuban Navy, with a fleet of 22 patrol vessels and a heavy cruiser, would blockade Port-de-Paix, Cap-Haitien, Les Cayes and Gonave Island. The Air Force, primarily with American fighters (including the P-51 and P-39), would patrol the skies in regular patrols.

Mexico invades Guatemala!

Following their civil war, the country has proceeded to invade Guatemala, with the Zapatistas taking the fight. The small nation, which housed the Austrian exiles under Dolfuss, has done little to prepare, and is currently falling back. Despite this, Mexico does have enemies, mostly from within. There have been major protests against this by the population, many of them either because the invasion could hurt the economy or the fact that it is viewed as unabashed imperialism. Tensions exist in the government itself over the action, with Communards proposing annexation and Magonistas a republic. The French, Japanese, and USSA have both condemned the invasion, with the French foreign minister saying the invasion was proof of the fact all syndicalists were the warmongering totalitarians that ruled France a decade ago, and the USSA alongside Hirohito saying Mexico was infringing on the people's rights to choose their government. Dolfuss has crossed further south, into Honduras, and some believe he may be heading to Nicaragua judging by locations where his large company was sighted. Many of his men have also boarded ships to Austria.

Proposal for Austrian army improvements

Heinrich Kondré, a general in the Austrian army, has begun collecting a group of generals to respond to the Austrian militaries perceived faults. The group argues that the army has been primarily focused on defending Austria since the 19th century. The group is split between those who wish to continue this and those who wish for reform. The status quo supporters believe Austria should focus on improving current warfare methods and remain mostly outside of foreign ventures, while so called "new age generals" believe in studying foreign techniques and take its role as a superpower more seriously. Kondré himself is in favor of new techniques.

Cubans send in more supplies to soldiers in Haiti

Cuba has been occupying the Haitian capital since before the German invasion, in order to defend the socialist government. To avoid its troops starving, the Cubans have begun sending food to the soldiers. The Cubans have begun a blockade of whatever lands they could, though given the huge strength of the German navy, which is now fully operational with all land troops being in Haiti, this will likely prove futile. Some believe, however, the Cubans simply wish to safely withdraw their troops and the Haitian government while keeping them from starving.

François de La Rocque is dead!

The President of France, François de La Rocque, has died. A highly controversial figure, he had presided over the reclamation of the mainland during the Second Weltkrieg, and the early reconstruction of France. Polarizing, he was viewed favorably in the beginning of his rule, but its growing authoritarianism and his past alignments with Action Française have troubled many. His successor is Jean Mermoz. Charismatic, but described by many as uninterested in politics and focused on the aviation industry, many believe his rule can potentially result in the return to democracy-or perhaps, a coup by the military. The funeral will be held on August 19th.

Morocco elections over!

Reformist candidates have won the Morocco election. In favor of more democracy in the protectorate alongside the development of cities in place of farming, the loose caucus of politicians does still support continued German investments through powerful conglomerates.

German troops all over Haiti dug in for the long haul but were issued orders to be friendly with the locals. Imperial Navy warships started a convoy system to keep the troops in Haiti well supplied but they were also issued orders to blockade the capital of Haiti and stop all Cuban ships. The latest version of the venerable fighter is the Me 109K and these were tasked with warning off all Cuban aircraft including fighters. Helping the Me 109Ks were the Me 109Ls from the two German carriers off the South coast of Haiti and Me 262 jet fighters. The Kaiser issued a dire warning to the Cuban government that any more interference in Germany's war against Haiti will be considered and act of war. By orders of the Kaiser, all Haitian airspace and Haitian territorial waters is now restricted to German and Austrian aircraft and ships only.

Germany Finally Invades, Most of Country Falls! Government Refuses to Surrender!

With the Germans invading and most of the country under occupation, only Port Au-Prince remains. The aid of the Cubans, while greatly appreciated, has proven rather futile. However, despite the situation, the government has refused to surrender, with President Thomas Lambert personally writing a message to Germany that was read over nationwide radio, in part saying “as long as there is air in my lungs, blood in my veins, and people to care for and lead, I will never surrender my country to the likes of you imperialist invaders”.

People Protest Against Invaders in Occupied Areas!

With most of the country under occupation, many people have voiced their disdain and anger towards the invading Germans. In on scene in Les Cayes, people marched through the streets singing the Internationale in French and waving the flag of the People’s Republic. Similar scenes have unfolded in many other towns, showing that the Germans will likely struggle to hold on to Haiti once their invasion is complete.

Port Au-Prince Evacuation Initiates!

The evacuation of government officials, citizens, foreign diplomats, and others from Port Au-Prince began just before the blockade of the coastline went into effect, with most going to Cuba and Mexico, though some go to America. Those who were unable to leave have attempted to get past German soldiers and traverse the country to get to the Dominican Republic, some to unfortunately no avail. President Thomas Lambert is presumably still in Port Au-Prince, as he has said that he is “willing to die for my country.”

Cuba is willing to recognise German control of Haiti, and withdraw support for Haiti, in return for safe passage for Cuban soldiers and Haitian civilians being evacuated from Port-au-Prince. Meanwhile the soldiers would skirmish against the German forces with small scale artillery strikes, using the tank destroyers, as they withdraw to the port.

Haiti Causes Further Chaos In Russia
MOSCOW - The Russian Parliament fell into chaos once again due to the conflict between Haiti and Germany. The chaos pits the Rejuvenation League (LO), a pro-German party, against numerous other parties, with the Communist Party of Russia (KPR) and the Socialist Revolutionary Party (SRP) backing Haiti, while the Greater Russian National Front (BRNF) said that Haiti is not a big concern for Mother Russia. Meanwhile, both the ruling Russian Unity Party (PRY) and the Russian Social Democratic Workers' Party (RSDRP) has called for peace and stability within the Russian Parliament.

MOSCOW - The Russian government has fully condemned Mexico for invading Guatemala, describing said situation as "pure hypocrisy". Although Russia had congratulated Mexico for fighting hard against an invasion by the USSA, Russia is not fond of Mexico's recent objective. Russia has called on Mexico to withdraw its troops from Guatemala. If the invasion continues, then Russia would place diplomatic and economic sanctions on Mexico, as well as granting political asylum to the Guatemalan government.

As people within the country don't react well to the invasion by the Zapatistas the congress is forced to talk about this & debate, postponing meetings on how to unite the different factions to make a cohesive country, as although united, the People's Republic is ultimately divided within the control zones of the Zapatistas, Magonistas, Communards (& the Free Territory of Baja California), an issue that the People's Republic may have to deal with sooner rather than later as the Zapatistas and their militias are invading Guatemala, actions have grown more controversial within the congress, and actions which as some protest outside & within Zapatista territory, those outside of the territory of the Zapatistas either protests or go on strike by simply refusing to produce ammunition, weapons, and goods that may be used by the Zapatista militias, within Zapatista territories some minor strikes and protests have begun, as of now, the Zapatista intervention continues, and debates in the 1st Mexican Congress ensue as Zapatista representatives insist that the revolution will not live for long unless it is spread, meanwhile the Magonistas are split between not supporting or supporting partially, the Communards have chosen a more revolutionary route and now many of their representatives in the congress have begun speaking of continuous revolutionary spirits, and of sparking the flames of global revolution by spreading through intellectual means, and by planting the seeds for revolution abroad through what they've called "Revolutionary Peaceful Expeditions" debates continue while the Zapatistas and their militias keep going.

We greet you President Vasily Boldyrev, right now the president from the Zapatistas isn't available, he has secluded himself from the rest of the government, and at the moment we are writing this it seems the Zapatista part of the three-part struggle may be looking forwards to separate from the rest of the republic and to call upon any support they may have in more northern militias, at the moment while the congress is in session we will try to make the Zapatistas turn around back to the borders, but, we cannot guarantee such, and although we are the other two presidents we only really have power over our sections of the country, there's no real central government and this may lead to a civil war within Mexico, we will let our workers & peasants strike and refuse to provide the Zapatistas with supplies, but, ultimately for the moment we cannot do much, though of course, Russia is welcome to condemn our country until the invasion which had initial support by even us due to revolutionary fervor, but as rationality returns to most, the war the Zapatistas have started independently has grown more unpopular.

Haiti invasion nears end, Cuban-German skirmishes!

Skirmishes seem to have occurred between Cubans and Germans today. This has caused division in the Reichstag once more. The DVLP, the DKP, the SDP, and FVP say it is beist to ignore it and simply askt he Cubans to deal with the soldiers, while Zentrum, the NLP, the CSRP, the DkP, the Agrarians, and the various regionalist parties have proposed forcing the Cubans to monetarily pay. Of course, given no casualties were reported thus far, many members of the later parties also supported simply letting them leave. This has spilt into the German election primaries. In the SDP, the more interventionist members, ones who pursue the status quo, and those in favor of a detente with the USSA against Japan square off. The DkP is also split between monarchists, moderate conservatives, and those who support a compromise between Kaiser and Reichstag. Adenauer may very well not be chancellor for long, as his party, the DKP, while growing, is still filled with aristocratic monarchists. Zentrum is split between federalizers and centralization supporters as well. And the others have their own conflicts. The Polish, Hanoverian, Alsace, Danish, Luxembourg, and the Bavarian parties are looking to unite, however. The situation in Haiti will be a major election factor, as protests have started, and armed rebels are beginning to be reported in the Montagnes Noires. Russia has also been split on the invasion, at least in parliament. Speaking of Russia...

Russia condemns Mexican invasion of Guatemala

The Russians have also exercised in foreign policy. Most of the population are apathetic to Haiti now that victory seems assured against them, and have ignored it in favor of the Guatemala invasion initiated by the Zapatistas. This has come with calling their actions hypocritical and severe measures in case the invasion continues, such as sanctions and refuge for the Guatemalan government.

Mexico experiences internal tensions!

The debates in the Mexican congress have gotten fiercer. Many representatives believe the Zapatistas are inflaming tensions, but reasons for the opposition are starting to become split as well. Some oppose it in favor of focusing on defending from America, others for potentially inflaming tensions with Europe and Japan, instead of possibly allying with them against America. Many within all three major factions are denouncing the others as betraying the revolution, but thankfully, no armed scuffles have taken place, even with active demonstrations by their members against the others.

Modernization Alliance formed in India

A new political lobby has been formed in India. The Modernization Alliance, a society headed by Indian intellectuals and British expatriates, has a weird mishmash of ideas. The center around class unification through greater wealth for all through autonomization, while allowing people to manage sectors of the economy they are "best suited for". It is also pan-asian, promoting a common identity through struggle against colonialism, alongside to some a common political evolution in favor of democracy. This weird mishmash has been strangely popular among the young people of India, taking away from both nationalists and socialists.

A Reformgruppe Victory!

Mittelafrika has grown tired of waiting. The nation has now decided to end the requirement for the Emperor and Chancellor to choose the Statthalter, instead making the local parliament appoint one. To a lot of people's surprise, the Reformgruppe has been given a mandate against the hardliners and reformists. Seeking to federalize and reform the colony, the newly empowered Statthalter, Theodor von Hassel, will have to work with the other factions to get what he wants, alongside Berlin.

Zapatistas officially leave the 1st Mexican Congress

In a controversial and quite possibly part of future history books, the Zapatistas & their militias have gone rogue, the central government is in disarray as all Zapatista representatives in the congress leave Mexico City in a dash towards the states controlled by the Zapatistas, the entire congress now only consisting of the Communards & the Magonistas is now in a state of chaos, the Zapatistas, for now, are considered traitors to the revolution, but no real military action has taken place, the Zapatistas for their part have proclaimed themselves as the Zapatista Liberation Army, the rest of the country doesn't quite know what to do yet, but, many people are rallying their representatives in the congress to go forth and send their militias marching down into the territory of the Zapatistas, many militias have reassembled themselves, and many workers & farmers in the country have taken their arms and have prepared to march South even if the central government doesn't allow them to do so, for the central government is incapable of stopping the will of the people, and the will of the people is to rally against the actions of the Zapatistas, for now, who says if this wave of anger will last for long, meanwhile, the Zapatistas keep marching into Guatemala, that's all the News from Mexico knows for now, as the Zapatistas have expelled all journalists who are not fully loyal to them from their territory into either the Yucatan or Mexico, a young state reborn, and yet, civil war follows, the country which some within Mexican circles have called destined to chaos & civil unrest, from the fights of old between monarchists & republicans, the fights between liberals & conservatives, then the fights over centralism or federalism, to the Mexican revolutions of the 20th century, first against the old order of Carranza, then against the USSA enforced order in Mexico, and now the Zapatistas splitting up from the rest of the country.

Zapatistas' push deeper into Guatemala, People in Mexico begin to doubt congress!

With the Zapatistas' pushing ever deeper into Guatemala, Mexico is becoming sharply divided. Two groups have emerged-those who propose a quick end to the congress and unity against the Zapatistas, while others propose the disbandment of the congress and the clear victory of one faction over another. At this point, some believe Mexico could collapse into warlord cliques or a second phase of the civil war. The Republican and Cristero remnants(as the monarchists have lost virtually all popularity) have heightened their activities as well, and some believe they may unite against the Mexicans. The Yucatan has condemned the Zapatistas growing totalitarianism. In Zapatista territory, many support a new ideology calling for the embracement of illegal activities, such as shoplifting and vandalism, as functions against property, while others begin proposing a Vanguard. Pro-native totalists have also arisen, calling for, at the very least, the division of Latinos and natives. As Guatemala's capital is in sight of Zapatista forces, the situation intensifies.

District Party collapses, Reformgruppe allies with moderates

After the Reformgruppe election, Asmis' party didn't take it well-and by that, it meant the District party exploded. Many delegates resigned from their party positions, and now, the Mittelafrika parliament is without a clear majority. Despite the reformist wing of the party being more ideologically aligned with them, the Reformgruppe decided the status quo wing wielded a stronger majority, and picked them. Now, many wonder if an election needs to be called in the colony.

Starvation Increase Reporter in Russia!

Many villages in Western Russian, particularly close to Ukraine, are reporting decreased food harvests. While it is mostly relegated to the provinces close to Ukraine and the Mountain Republic, villages elsewhere have reported it as well. This is mostly due to the huge demobilization of soldiers following the Weltkrieg, which, combined with the destruction of multiple farms, left many jobless. As harvests are not yielding expected results, many worry the situation could get worse and turn into a famine.
