Dolly Thomas was thinking about Chris Cockle again. Chris was a sinister banker with curvy eyes and dirty fingers. Dolly walked over to the window and reflected on her rural surroundings. She had always loved noisy Boston Chicago with its condemned, chilly cliffs. It was a place that encouraged her tendency to feel cross. Then she saw something in the distance, or rather someone.

It was a sinister figure of Chris Cockle.

Dolly gulped. She glanced at her own reflection. She was a hungry, clumsy, wine drinker with intimidating eyes and ample fingers. Her friends saw her as a beautiful, bored woman with a magic touch. Once, she had even revived a dying black hawk. But not even a hungry person who had once revived a dying hawk, was prepared for what Chris had in store today.

The drizzle rained like hopping dogs, making Dolly cross. Dolly grabbed a bat that had been strewn nearby; she massaged it with her fingers. As Dolly stepped outside and Chris came closer, she could see the evil glint in his eye. Her grip on the bat tightened.

"Look Dolly," growled Chris, with a brutal glare that reminded Dolly of sinister guppies. "It's not that I don't love you, but I want my money. You owe me 6975 dollars."

Dolly looked back, even more cross and still fingering the minuscule kettle. "Chris," she replied.

They looked at each other with calm feelings, like two orange, old-fashioned ostriches boating at a very clever wedding, which had classical music playing in the background and two out of touch dads hopping to the beat.

Dolly regarded Chris's curvy eyes and dirty fingers. "I don't have the funds ..." she lied.

Chris glared. "Do you want me to beat you up with that minuscule bat?"

Dolly promptly remembered she'd rather not be beaten up. "Actually, I do have the funds," she admitted. She reached into her pockets. "Here's what I owe you."

Chris looked stressed, his wallet blushing like a shallow, smoggy sandwich.

Then Chris came inside and stole a nice glass of wine to shut out Lily.

LWU Misses the target once again

A joyous night! Raiders from LWU staging, inviting an insurmountable stack of 20+ Libcord (For Your Protection™) defenders!

Expecting a quick night, the Wardens and friends moved to protect the lovely region of Tiandi, yet the wolves had other plans, Trump America! Honestly, if they had hit this we could've all gone home happy, them with their raid and us letting them have that *shudders* place... but they missed lol.

Nevertheless persistent, the raiders continued on, being struck down by the Libcord (For Your Protection™) stack in Allied Conservative States and being blocked from any potential raid in Korovia by an overly eager wolf who seemed to have moved a little too early... such a shame...

Anyway, such is life. The doomstack held its own, and defenders went to bed having protected NationStates from the blight once again!

To truly experience the expanses of victory, one must play in hard mode. Nothing short of this is acceptable, lest you fall short of true sigma-godgamer status. Raiders have yet to experience true victory. They are simply unable to comprehend the grindset.

Defenders, however, are built different. When hard mode comes to our screens, we enthusiastically select it and then get a roughly 84% rate, successfully protecting 11 regions on hard mode... and that's on a rough night! Don't worry, with our new members embracing the grindset, such as the poetic Ryccia, we'll get those numbers back above 90% to shutout levels soon enough...

Not only is the grindset pure, but it comes en masse. Defenders, with no particular calling to action or pinging mustered brought nearly 20 updaters to absolutely obliterate the blight from the battlefield. With these inspirational numbers, Libcord (For Your Protection™) continues to keep its members engaged in the benefits of the defender grind.

As First Warden of The Order of The Grey Wardens, I am beyond fucking thrilled to announce (a little belatedly on account of N-Day) the promotion of Luca to the rank of Warden-Lieutenant!

Luca's so fucking talented it's honestly nuts. I swear every month I have to do a double take because I keep promoting talent after talent through our ranks, and Luca is no exception. I think I speak for the entire Command Staff when I say how appreciative we are for Luca, both in their contributions to The Order and just their presence and fun personality within our community. One of the fastest chasers I've ever seen, a critical asset to behind-the-scenes liberation logistics, a tireless recruiter, an actual Dragon Age fan in our region, I mean honestly the plaudits can go on and on and on. It's honestly starting to feel a little unfair how much talent we're holding onto here in The Grey Wardens these days, but I have always strived to ensure that this organization grows to be the best military this game has ever seen and can only be excited that there are more and more people jumping onto the vision that we've laid out. Having demonstrated countless talent and immeasurable contributions since ascending to the defender faction, I am supremely confident that Luca will continue to bring success and positivity as a Lieutenant in The Order, and I can only hope that she continues enjoying her time with us and in our community as much as we love having her. The future is bright for The Order, as we continue our battle to once and for all turn back the Darkspawn tide and end The Blight.
