that some of the most disgusting regions I've seen on NS are still around, slightly changed but still active

Plus, would you rather withdraw it and save yourself seeing the proposal get humiliated on the voting floor or press on, campaign vigorously for it, and try to get two badges at the same time? You're not exactly helping yourself since people will see you as an opportunist who wants a self-condemn and a shiny condemn badge on their nation page.
