The People's Republic rushes to defeat the monarchists

As the People's Republic is tired of the monarchist defiant resistance rushes and mass attacks on the monarchists have begun intensifying in occurrence and scale, and the Magonistas have been increasingly sending cavalry units to overwhelm the not yet ready defenses of the Trigarante Army, meanwhile, the Communards having de facto control over most of the industry of Mexico have begun the production of warplanes to end the monarchists, the first of these planes are yet to be produced, it is expected for the first plane to fly before the Monarchists finish building their fortifications.

The beginning of the People's Navy

As the People's Republic now control most of the country's shipyards and ports the beginnings for a Mexican naval industry are begun, and plans for a Mexican navy are further brought up with the intent of eventually exploiting the oil within Mexico's territorial waters, it is also rumored that a small flotilla of small ships have already begun construction intending to break the monarchists further as they keep receiving supplies from Germany, and thus to enforce a blockade.

One of the fronts for the People's Republic is over, after a debate, the Mexican & Yucatan governments have signed a peace agreement in which both nations agree on a mutual defense pact and a non-aggression pact for securing the independence of each other, the people stuck fighting in the tropical areas of the Yucatan can now go help the further offensive operations to break the monarchists, meanwhile, the Republic of Yucatan is now recognized as an independent state by the People's Republic of Mexico, the monarchists meanwhile have refused to acknowledge either as real governments.

As they keep fighting and fighting many fighting for the restoration of the throne of Iturbide (and of Maximilian of Habsburg) many have started to doubt if it is truly worth it when they think they have no chance of winning against the further onslaught of the People's Republic, desertions have begun to run rampant, meanwhile, a few have begun to question what kind of monarchy the leadership even wants, and troops have begun fighting among each other between Constitutionalism & Absolutism in areas not so ravaged by the onslaught of Magonistas, Communards, and now Zapatistas.

India begins offensive as American supplies falter and Afghanistan capitulates!

The Indian resolve has not been broken by the news of American shipments, as a new offensive against the Pakistani has resulted in success. While Pakistan has managed to defend Lahore, it has lost 80% of its army, which has surrendered, been killed, or deserted. India also began making aircraft carries, which, while not made yet, have deterred American flight missions, which seem to be going over either Persia or somewhere in central asia. The only success for Pakistan is that Afghanistan has capitulated, and only a little of their army was wasted. A puppet government has been installed, though the exiled Emir has asked India to not declare war on it and to consider giving Afghanistan its Pakistani land back after the wars end, though many of the Indian government said the Afghans deserve nothing.

Monarchists in Mexico falter, peace signed with Yucatan!

The monarchists in Mexico have now been divided. 70% of their army surrendered, defected, or collapsed, the semi-constitutional government fell as constitutionalists rose up alongside absolutists, and there was an attempted coup. Now, the army is in shambles, and all they have under control is a few cities in Tamaulipas, which are plagued by Cristero partisans and a few remaining Cristero brigades, and no provincial capitals. The pretender Empress has moved to Austria, though now her claims are somewhat challenged, with one group endorsing Karl's cousin Elisabeth Marie, another Karl himself, and a third an election of an emperor, though the Empress Maria's group still holds the majority. Peace was signed with the Yucatan, which angered the Maximists, but did allow their now more popular units to assist in the offensive. The only hope for the monarchists is that the new reinforcements can save them.

Socialist protests in Liberia

In the African nation of Liberia, it seems their trade deal with the German Empire a few months ago wasn't respected by some parts of the population. Socialists have begun to organize, asking for better wages and calling the government German puppets. The government introduced many social democratic reforms, while picking up speed in industralizing. The protests still continue, but on a smaller scale and are dying down. While their goal is noble, the fact they are n-members of an underdeveloped country will likely make any revolution susceptible to American influence.

Coup in Moldavia

The military has entered the Moldavian parliament yesterday, arresting the Prime Minister and declaring martial law, on charges of treason and . The King appointed one of them, Constantin Nicolescu, as prime minister. This move has angered the republican and led to increasing protests, in some cases causing attacks.

Southern Monarchist flank collapses

As the Army of the three guarantees falls into further infighting over Constitutionalism & Absolutism the southern flank of the army has collapsed after fights started which were ended not by the sabers & rifles of other monarchists, but rather a mass cavalry charge by the Magonistas, and supplementary armored cars by the Communards charging alongside the cavalry, a quick collapse is estimated but only time will tell if this collapse of the southern front means they'll fully collapse.

The Yucatan Constitution & Industrial development plans

While the Yucatan Republic is still plagued with ideological infighting after full independence, a new constitution was written, a constitution which is left-wing in nature and influenced by the thought of the People's Republic of Mexico, alongside liberal influences from various writers, quite the modern constitution for a small & industrially backward nation, this constitution was also established alongside plans for the industrial development of the region through local capitalists, and through protectionists practices & strong workers unions.

Presidential Election In Process
MOSCOW - Presidential election is now being held in Russia. President Vasily Boldyrev (PRY) stands against other candidates. These rival candidates include Irakli Tsereteli (RSDRP), Vladimir Nabakov (KDP), Pyotr Krasnov (LO), Alexander Kerensky (TF) and Roman Zakhaev (BRNF). The election is tense as the candidates engage in heated debates. There were even more heated argument between Pyotr and Roman, considering the fact that their parties had fought each other in major cities across Russia. Meanwhile, Vasily sought out to impress the Russian people with his liberal policies. On the other hand, Irakli gained support through his advocacy for socialist democracy and a stop to further Russian involvement in armed conflicts, while Vladimir tried to impress everyone with his support for balance between state intervention and free trade. The debates are getting more tense as people would soon vote.

PETROGRAD - Due to continued violence between rival political parties, the Russian police has declared a state of emergency across Petrograd. The Russian Army is sent in to assist the police and clamp down on political violence. This happens just as debates are taking place ahead of the presidential election.

Mexican Monarchist Collapse!

The monarchists in Mexico have no near completely fallen back. With the crescendo descending on them, all which is left are villages in the coast, housing fishermen and the rest of the Austrian army, because by this point the monarchists have none of their own. The Cristeros have finally collapsed into guerillas. Now, a withdrawal is being considered across the Austrian government and the monarchist remnants, with many challenging the monarchist congregation to decide who the emperor is as soon as Mexico is evacuated. The Yucatan has also adopted a constitution and begun a industrialization plan, which involves encouraging workers in businesses by giving them more rights. In a more strange tale, Nestor Makhno is rumored to be in Mexico, even after many suspected the French killed him in the 30s. Of course, there is no definitive proof, for now at least. But regardless, his ghost hangs high over the Magonista movement.

Pakistan capitulates as Islamabad falls and Afghan interregnum crumbles!

Another was reached its definitive end, as Pakistan has surrendered. Indian forces broke into Islamabad this week and took it after fighting through the nearby mountains and hills. Pakistan surrendered unconditionally, and many of its Islamic citizens are worried India will annex their country. The western provinces, however, mostly rejoiced, and provinces have voted or otherwise declared themselves part of India. Afghanistan crumbled and a monarchist force quickly rose up, with King Muhammed Zahir coming back, ending the Interregnum. He has stated that he believes a referendum should be held in the territories Pakistan took from his nation instead of simply being annexed. Shortly after, the King abdicated to his 12 year old soon Muhammed Akbar Khan, with a regency installed consisting of politicians, generals, priests, and nobles, certainly a varied bunch.

Russian elections in full swing, battles between Denikin's supporters and other parties!

The Russian elections have entered their debate phase. Emphasis on debate, as many profanities have been shouted by various parties at each other, from Krasnov stating the Kadets supported a restoration of a "waterhead", which likely references inbreeding in comparison to Charles II of Spain, that lives in England and is barely out of college, to the socialists saying that the Rejuvenation League supported practically the same thing, and Denikin calling Boldyrev a "oversized shit brained walrus" who he only now endorsed because he had enough muscle in his heart to send the army into Petrograd. Despite his support of Boldyrev, Denikin is rumored to have links to a bunch of private mercenaries shooting at various parties. While first taking advantage of the nationalist embassy attack, the mercenaries turned on the Rejuvenation league, before attacking everyone else. However, no trail has been found and everything possibly linking Denikin to the attacks is at a dead end.

Bulgaria intervenes in Moldavia, install Republic

With the protests growing worse, the Bulgarians have interfered in their Moldavian puppet, and ended the monarchy. The Republicans were appeased with their democratic government, and the protests died down. As such, I hereby announce that earlier this morning, the New Delhi charter was signed by the Federal Republic of India and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, hereby forming the United Congress of Nations. The charter states in general that the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the Federal Republic of India will provide mutual security and financial assistance to each other, and will assist each other in military matters, specifically in defense of the other nation. I have also been in discussion with the Afghani Interregnum, asking them to allow for a semi-constitutional monarchy at the least and to allow federal elections, in exchange for financial assistance and a seat in the UCN.

Meanwhile, due to Islam now being a major religion in portions of the FRI, I am hereby in the works of drafting a amendment to the constitution of the Federal Republic of India to allow for freedom of religion. This will take time to work on, and guaranteed results can't be promised at the moment, but the hope is that this passes through the Indian National Senate at haste. Slowing down

After the rush by the combined forces of the People's Republic, a slow down was inevitable, with the Magonista cavalry exhausted, now that the only remains left of the monarchists are Austrians, a better army compared to the ragtag militias the rest of Mexico is in, to which a change of strategy will be needed against these foreigners in Mexican soil.

The Guillotine, a tool of many revolutions, and a symbol of Equality & Justice, the Communards have taken this tool and are encouraging it more and more, guillotines can be seen going down on guerrilla leaders caught by the Communards, or by those who try to sabotage communard industry, the Magonistas still staunchly oppose the use of the guillotine, while the Zapatistas have a mixed opinion, and as most of the country is under joint control by the three forces, some wonder what will happen on the First Congress of the Mexican People's Republic.

Starting Anew, the beginnings of the Constitution of 1945 & the Free Territory of Baja California

Crushing Militants

The government troops march to start fighting against the nationalist paramilitary militias and countless militants have risen to march toward the capital.

They later come across a Nationalist militia camp, which the troops started to put down, some government troops start fighting the militiamen, other start burning down the camp. It was a long battle in the camp, but the troops eventually put it down, setting back the Nationalist militant's progress.

The government troops start to engage against the Nationalist militants in Cuiabá, the militants start to shoot first, the troops fire back. Both the Nationalist militants and the Government troops battle over the city in gunfire and armored vehicles.

The government troops take the city after a few hours, but it was a devastating battle for the city of Cuiabá, with Nationalist militants and the Government troops brawling, buildings and roads were damaged, some civilians died from bombs by the Nationalist militants being blown up, with the intent of killing the government troops.

Some damages have been done against the nationalist militants and the nationalist government, with the Brazilian leftist government getting gains against them. the nationalist government, however, is constantly planning to turn the tide to their favor and destroy the elected socialist government in Brazil.

India proposes democratic alliance in Asia, Kumul Khanate occupies North Pakistan

Following the Pakistani defeat, the Federal Republic of India has announced it seeks to create a new, democratic alliance. Called the United Council of Nations, Afghanistan was allowed to join on the condition it democratize. The regency council has announced it would be in full support of the move by declaring elections for a constituent assembly to write a new constitution. In somewhat troubling news, the Kumul Khanate occupied parts of northern Pakistan following the collapse of the nations military. The Khan said those lands were illegally taken. Between this and a good chunk of its land currently in the process of voting itself into India, Pakistan will be completely weakened. The Islamic Republic of Pakistan condemned the move, though right now its priorities are on holding elections.

Stability and anarchism emerge in Mexico

With the civil war winding down, Mexico is taking a reemergence in anarchism. Though most factions have accepted the guillotine, use of it died down, to the sadness of the Maximists. Anarchism has begun to take a hold in Magonista territory, meaning we hopefully won't get so many angry letters about that one time we erroneously called them anarchists. Local communes and workers council have gun governing parts of Baja California, guided by a new, mostly-independent, black army, in a form of what many call anarcho-syndicalism. Homosexual rights are being considered in the 1st Congress of the Mexican people's Republic, with most opting to either let local communes decide, do nothing, or abolish restrictions on same sex activities. Either allowing marriage or...exterminating gay people to make fascism go away are mostly isolated positions on different sides of the Communard and or Maximist spectrums.

Nationalists pushed away from capital, UDN collapses!

Brazil has now successfully pushed the nationalists away from the capital. This has forced the nationalist forces to go on the defensive. The nationalist forces have fortified 60% of their positions and are quickly fortifying more. Unfortunately for the National Democratic Union, this has pretty much left their powerbase to their enemies. With this, and arguments with social democratic members of the Grand Coalition, the UDN dissolved, with its members being replaced by either conservative independents, or, in the case of exactly a quarter seats, socialists, syndicalists, and totalists, though this doesn't give the socialists the chamber...yet. The Grand Coalition has thus faltered, and now, collapsed.

Offensive in Arabia!

The Ottoman puppet state of Arabia is looking better, as an offensive was conducted in the desert nation which resulted in its armies success. However, the fighting in the desert is brutal, with cities few and far between, while supply lines falter.

Edward Windsor commits suicide!

Edward Windsor, known by his supporters as Edward VIII, was found dead in his house, hanging from the celling, by his guards. The Australasian Union has said it was suicide. Surprisingly, many experts agree, noting Edward looking extremely gloomy. A group of letter indicative of his handwriting being released also dismissed evidence of foul play. His son, Victor, was declared King Victor I by multiple Windsorist organizations. Victor's uncle Albert was elected Regent by the England, Canadian, Scottish, and Indian organizations, with the others likely soon to follow. Regardless, the sovereign killing himself, which is forbidden by the Church of England, will certainly have a horrid effect on the movement for years, or even decades, to come.

The 1st Mexican Congress

With Mexico mostly secured under the joint control of the Magonistas, Communards & Zapatistas, a new proper government is being organized, the Local Mexican Workers Councils are being founded to replace municipalities, states will be governed by a State Workers Council elected from the councils below, and at the National level it is yet to be said what may be chosen, some are proposing a triumvirate, to have three effective presidents each from the areas controlled by the Zapatistas, Magonistas, & Communards respectively, others are proposing for the new Mexican People's Republic to only have a figurehead president with an elected council making all the choices, meanwhile, the anarchist faction within the Magonistas has proposed for the Mexican People's Republic to only exist to ensure the safety of the whole territory with organized armed forces, the congress is far from over.

Nationalist Morale Falling


9:00 Brasília Standard, Rio Grande do Sul

After recent advances in Mato Grosso, new government troops are being sent to Rio Grande do Sul to crush more nationalist militants and further weaken the far-right opposition government. Many militant camps in Rio Grande do Sul start to be raided by government troops which weakened the nationalists.

The raiding of one camp started when 5,000 government troops marched into the camp to destroy it, the militants response was defensive, and the fighting was harsh, later, the rest of the 13,000 government troops came, and ultimately had won the battle, destroying the camp and lowering the nationalist militants' morale.

The battle starts with a government soldier shooting their gun at a nationalist militant, the other militants put up arms and start fighting against the government troops seizing the city. The militants hold out in buildings and former local police stations, but ultimately fail to hold out, the city is now occupied by the government troops.


The nationalist's morale falls as the government occupies more and more territories of the far-right opposition of Brazil, it is a matter of time that the Nationalist government falls and the elected Socialist government fully sets up their agenda with more progress on the agenda as the UDN and the Grand Coalition collapsed.

Candidate Speeches In Progress
MOSCOW - President Vasily Boldyrev (PRY), Irakli Tsereteli (RSDRP), Vladimir Nabakov (KDP), Pyotr Krasnov (LO), Alexander Kerensky (TF) and Roman Zakhaev (BRNF) are currently holding speeches where they seek to impress their voters in order to win the election. Their speeches include promises that they all swear they would uphold once either one of them wins the election.

Civil Rights March Attacked
KAZAN - A civil rights march took place in Kazan. It was organized by the National Association for the Liberation of Oppressed Groups (NAOUG) and heavily sympathized with the Tatars, who have recently been harassed by Russian nationalists amid the presidential election. While both the NAOUG and the Tatar community marched in unison, the march was brutally attacked by Russian nationalists, who were armed with knives, axes, batons and rocks. The attack led to the death of 10 NAOUG members and 8 Tatars. Two nationalists suffered injuries from the defensive marchers, but managed to flee the scene after the attack was broken up by law enforcement. The Greater Russian National Front (BRNF) was believed to have orchestrated the attack as it has recently denounced the NAOUG for supporting "inferior groups".

Brazilian Nationalist Fail in Attempt to Retake Coast as Multiple Countries Send Aid

Germany has announced it will move out of Mexico and begin supplying the nationalists in Brazil. While the SPD's more radical members and, strangely enough, the DVLP parts of the DkP, have protested, the decision is mostly popular, especially as given that by this point calls for early elections have collapsed and many a nationalist are looking to avenge the failed intervention in Mexico. Brazil's nationalists attempted to take the coast, but failed, being pushed back. Despite this, casualties on both sides were low. Many in the German High Command are calling for naval deployment. In Mexico, a good chunk of the "coastal pockets" have collapsed, leaving the remaining monarchists to be defended by a few thousand Mexican troops and two hundred thousand cramped Austrian ones. India has also sent (financial) assistance, more on that on Station 6.

India announces Jayakar Doctrine!

The President of the Federal Republic of India, Makund Ramrao Jayakar, better known by shorter names, has delivered a speech. While not a grand one in appearance, it had a grand meaning. In it, Jayakar stated that the Germans forced their will onto their eastern puppet states, and said that many sympathized with the former King Edward for his wish to get back home. The President finished his speach by pledging the United Council of Nations would secure the regions around it of totalism, though he denounced despotism as well. Many parties in India, however, have stated India will likely not implement the doctrine for a while, and that it is wise to industrialize in the meantime.

Russian Election Intesifies as Sympathy for NAOUG soars

The Russian candidates have given several speeches over the last days. Nationalist support is steadily rising, though the front runners are currently placed at Boldyrev and Tsereteli. NAOUG has found more support, however, following the attack on them by the BRNF. They are, in fact, in third place with 12%, slightly ahead of the rejuvenation league at 11%. The Kadets are at 9%, the BRNF at 4% and rising, while Kerensky is with little to no popularity. It is likely a second round will take place, as many had expected. But sympathy for the minority party and rejuvenation league likely won't last, leaving them great targets for swinging the vote, either when their popularity falls or a second round occurs.

Hawaii begins exports to Germany!

The tiny island nation has begun sending huge amounts of coal, fish, and other resources to germany, in addition to building petroleum refineries. This has been taken well, but the DkP within the Reich believe Germany should tax the imports in order to not rely on Hawaii to much and get more of the deal.

Khivan monarchy falls!

The monarchy of Khiva, which has been dealing with nationalist Russians and locals for the past few months, had attempted a crackdown on the chaos. The army, however, turned, leading to an uprising and forcing the Khan to flee to Persia. Some loyalists attempted to seize the capital, but were thwarted. The new government said it will keep good relations with the Germans.

Nationalists Weaken Significantly

Much earlier, the Germans announced that they have decided to aid the Nationalists along with India bringing financial support for the Nationalists.

However, after a recent attempt to take back the coast of the nationalists' lands, the Brazilian Government's Army is now taking an advance against the nationalists to a whole new level, with more supplies, more troops and more morale.

The Nationalist government weakens more as the troops are now fighting harder and stronger against the nationalists despite casualties have been low. Numerous attempts of Nationalist advancements have now failed, and the Government had now started to fully stop the Nationalist government's insurgency, with some troops being deployed to ports as well as Navy ships being deployed to protect the Brazilian coast as Germany also announced they would send regulars.

The nationalists have weakened, and now they are now close to capitulation.

Camp Grande was mainly where the Nationalist opposition government, it has been threatened by the elected socialist government's advancements in Mato Grosso, but now, it was bound to fall.

Shots have rung out in the city as the Government troops and Nationalist militants fight for the city, killing many in the process, later, the government troops stormed the main location of the Nationalist government, occupying it and causing the Nationalists to flee.

However, there is still Nationalist resistance that needs to be crushed by the Government in order to occupy them fully.

News from Haiti

The Republic has Fallen!

Following the weeks of fighting, with the relentless offense of the People’s Army, which grew ever more as Republican troops defected and civilians voluntarily enlisted in droves, the Republic has completely capitulated, as the last Republican troops in Nord-Ouest and Grand’Anse, the last districts under Republican control, have unconditionally surrendered, bringing an end to the Haitian Civil War. With the victory of the socialists, which many saw as inevitable, celebration has kicked off throughout most of the country, and in Port Au-Prince, Thomas Lambert declared te death of the Republic of Haiti and the birth of the “People’s Republic of Haiti”. During that same speech, Lambert also delivered a warning to the Dominican Republic, saying “unless you take note of the demands of the people and act on them, your government will suffer the same fate as the defunct Republic of Haiti”. In the coming days, the People’s Republic should form a government, at which point they are expected to begin requesting recognition from other nations.

Louis Borno Found Dead!

People’s Army forces found the hideout of Louis Borno in Grand’Anse upon the surrender of Republican troops. They would proceed to enter, finding the disgraced former President dead, with a gunshot wound to his head. It is very likely that he committed suicide, say authorities.

The resolution on relationships with the USSA, no deals with the gringos

The 1st congress not yet finished in its entirety, but, the 1st Mexican Congress has chosen to speak on the stance on the USSA, all factions have unanimously agreed that the USSA cannot be trusted and that no future government will make deals with the gringos, the path to syndicalism is to be not from totalitarianism, but from the true desire for liberty & equality, and with the nation mostly united work has begun on plans to industrialize & to ensure the People's Republic cannot degenerate into a dictatorship.

The Yucatan

The Republic of the Yucatan, a new republic born out of the 2nd Mexican Revolution, recently it has chosen the path of social democracy, and the young nation has planned elections for the next year, and it has also picked up protects to extract oil from the previous Mexican Government, the young republic has also begun to build roads in its territory and plans to connect itself with further transportation.

The Free Territory of Baja California

The FTBC has started to develop the industry of the region it exists in, and the FTBC due to its anarchist nature has gone beyond the People's Republic on the matters of rights for not just ethnic minorities, alongside further plans to modernize the Free Territory further & further into the future, only time will tell if the anarchist experiment within the Baja California Peninsula within the People's Republic of Mexico, for now, it has seen short term successes in developing the region in terms of living conditions and industrial development.

Brazilian Civil War Over

Brazils civil war has ended, as the nationalists were cut in two. The larger force, stuck outside populated cities, collapsed, with the last one surrendering later following the realization they couldn't gain the ocean back. With that, the civil war has ended. Many marches occurred across the country asking for the proclamation of a Brazilian Commune. The social democrats are mostly apathetic by this point, though proclaiming the commune early would likely set them off. In any case, the socialists have near full control of the government, even if the south will have to rebuild in the coming year or two, as damage is mostly light.

Haitian Civil War Over, Dominican Republic promises to hold elections

Haiti has ended its civil war, the socialists fully winning. Louis Borno was found dead in what appears to be a suicide. The Dominican Republic revealed it was threatened by the Haitian socialists, but stated it would hold free elections and make reforms. Of course, given its current president being considered by many as a puppet, this is likely another sham. The more radical members in Haiti are proposing war, but they're mostly drowned out as being American influenced, authoritarians, or both.

Mexican Congress Continues as Anarchist Baja cements itself and Americans mobilize!

The Mexican Congress has condemned the USSA, saying it will not make any deals with them while denouncing their totalitarian tendencies. The Americans have begun a small build up on the border following the statement, but most reports suggest the troops are still not ready for invasion. In Baja California, industrialization plans have been taken across the many communities there, and have worked well. Smaller communities, however, develop relatively faster than larger ones and other small communities without some form of industrial base. Rights have been expanded, with many communes allowing extensive rights for the decently sized Asian population. Many have decriminalized same-sex activity, and a few have had close votes on gay marriage(though none passed), strangely enough encouraged by Ferdinand of Bulgaria in an official interview, though Crown Prince and former minister Boris disagreed with the Tsars stance. There have been issues, however, with some communes passing incredibly harsh laws, such as allowing death by stoning or creating squads to kick Asians out. The relative success of the experiment has caused the faction that wanted a triumvirate presidency to switch their support to the anarchists that wanted the smallest possible government in the republic, bringing their support in the congress to 59%, for now at least.

The social democratic government in the Yucatan has begun pursuing various methods of improving national wealth. These include oil extraction, building roads, and planning elections. These were welcomed.

Azerbaijan holds election

Azerbaijan has held its elections, but the results were unexpected. In a country dominated by oil barons and conglomerates from Germany, Gazanfar Musabekov, the social democratic(and to some, lightly socialist) candidate, has emerged victorious. He has promised to give workers better rights, which for the more authoritarian companies may be a danger.

White Ruthenia and Ukraine once again dispute borders!

The Ukrainian minority in White Ruthenia has begun making claims White Ruthenia illegally annexed the strip. This escalated when Ruthenian border guards discovered some pamphlets were being supplied by Ukrainian soldiers and villages, which was proven in a compound raid that resulted in several Ukrainian nationals in Ruthenia were arrested. The Ukrainian government has demanded the return of the nationals, and many within the southern nations cabinet are calling for an attempt to seize land. Members of the Reichstag have asked the Kaiser and Adenauer to do something.

The Worker's Militias Organize

Many workers in Mexico have started to volunteer in worker-led militias, parades with red flags being organized, people organizing as news of the USSA mobilizing are heard, the people of México ready to fight for the liberty they've now gained, workers, peasants, former soldiers & revolutionaries now resting with the civil war concluded, are now back at organizing to defend the People's Republic, work keeps going alongside organization, the workers are preparing, the North is seeing the beginnings of simple fortifications, and the few "proper" military divisions held properly by the government are also moving for the defense of strategic ports like the port of Veracruz which if it fell would mean Mexico City and the center of Mexico is doomed to fall into American hands, the Internationale can be heard singed around Mexico alongside other revolutionary songs from abroad, and from Mexico itself in the defense of the homeland, even former enemies of the new regime have begun to organize for becoming a USSA puppet is a worse fate than death.

Industrialization & Agrarian Subsidies

The young republic seeing the writing in the wall the Americans left for Mexico and their previous agreements of mutual defense, the Yucatan Republic will join the People's Republic of Mexico in the war, because who says the USSA will stop after getting Mexico, who says the USSA will stop at the Yucatan Republic? the Yucatan Republic will join the fight for liberty the USSA seems to want to snuff out with their mobilization on the Mexican border, the Yucatan Republic has begun a naval buildup to defend their territorial waters with oil, and to defend their own right to exist alongside to honor the deal with the Mexican People's Republic.

Mexicans Mobilize With Yucatan Allies!

Following the announcement of American mobilization, the Mexican People's Republic has begun a mobilization campaign. From factories producing more goods such as food or weapons, to the Black Army and the government arming. The Yucatan Republic has surprisingly assisted the government, saying they believe the Americans will come for them. Browder responded by saying that America wanted to be friendly with the Yucatan and recognize them, but now, that won't be possible. This provoked some anger from the Greater Yucatan Socialist State government in exile, but ultimately, they did nothing official against their American overlords. Right now, the armies on the Mexican border from the USSA are 35,000 soldiers from the various American created Governments in exile, with 243 thousand American troops and rising. The monarchists attempted to use the opportunity to gain some land, but failed. Elisabeth Marie, one of the claimants, condemned the action and said the monarchists should be trying to merge with their Mexican brothers, not weaken them. Empress Maria has said a coalition is preferable. Karl of Austria has said nothing, but many in his faction of the monarchist supported the move. The monarchists might not be alive for to long now, however, as diseases are rampant due to the crowded conditions. The Americans also revealed they tried to capture evidence of Makhno, but found nothing so far.

Refugee Crisis in South Africa!

Refugees have begun coming in from the Portuguese colonies. Most aren't sure as to why, though the bad economic situation, repressive government, and recent droughts may have something to do with it. The issue is contested in South Africa, but has largely been left alone by the Localist-Federalist divide.Reactions in Portugal are so far negligible.

Elections finished in German East Asia!

The elections for German East Asia's local parliament have concluded on New Years Day. The victory is mostly between various autonomist parties, who seek greater economic and/or political independence from berlin. Despite being on a wide range, many have decided to work together, with the exception of the independent social democrats and nationalists, with the former working with pro-german parties who wish for only pragmatic reforms and the latter founding its own minor alliance of tribal leaders, national populists, socialists, and theocrats promoting full independence immediately.

Election Drawing To A Close
MOSCOW - The presidential election is about to end and two candidates seems to be standing still while others lost. Those are President Vasily Boldyrev (PRY) and Irakli Tsereteli (RSDRP). The National Association for the Liberation of Oppressed Groups (NAOUG) came third in the election, even though it wasn't intended to run for President, as it was more concerned with minority rights in Russia. Both Vasily and Irakli have impressed Russians with their promises. Some praised Vasily for his liberal promises, while others praised Irakli for his more socialist ones. It looks like there will be a battle between nationalist liberals and democratic socialists for executive power in the Russian Republic, albeit not in a bloody way. People will soon vote near the end of the election. Will Vasily remain as President? Or will Irakli replace him? We will all see when the election ends.

New Rifle Unveiled
IZHEVSK - Mikhail Kalashnikov, a weapon designer for the Chief Artillery Directorate of the Russian Army, has unveiled a new rifle during a weapons trial held by the Russian Army in Izhevsk. The rifle, which Mikhail called "Mikhtim", was described as a "fully-automatic battle rifle that looks like a mix between the StG-44 and the SVT-40". The presiding military officials were impressed with his presentation and he was given a task to design it further, as well as eventually get it produced by at least 1947, while other competitors were jealous of him and became bitter when he won the interest of said officials. Many has described the presentation as a "big moment for Mother Russia", believing the rifle could bring about national pride among Russians and send fear into their enemies. Mikhail has previously designed a submachine gun in 1942 and a carbine in 1944, although both of them lost in their respective trials, which were held during the Second World War.
