Carreira starts once again between the sticks, though retirement rumors continue, with most placing the fateful day at the conclusion of this qualifying window. The Gomez v. Antunes debate is a favorite of groupchats and barrooms throughout Cabo Azure, with Gomez supporters highlighting his youth and his excellent play with the ball at his feet, while those who prefer Antunes point to his proven track record and superior shot-stopping ability. Don't be surprised if either or both of them gets a start later in the cycle.
The centerback pairing of team captain Macedo with the agile, aggressive Mendez proved robust in the Baptism, though the embarrassing opener against Bahia Roja, where the Maçaricas let in five goals against a team that was ultimately eliminated in the group stage, demonstrates the potential for disaster. Nevertheless, half of Cabo Azure's goals against in that tournament came from that single game, so to say the backline has been stingy otherwise is an understatement. The communication and chemistry between Sao Vicente teammates Fernandez and Mendes and between Villa Silva teammates Carneiro and Macedo is crucial to the high line Paulihno prefers. The return of Brandão from injury gives Paulinho a legitimate depth option at centerback, as well as the possibility to run five at the back if the situation calls for it.
Fullback rotation and depth proved as crucial to the Maçaricas' success in the Baptism as the outstanding overlapping play by young Portelo product Amilcar Branco, currently starting at Dhun Lagarr in Tikariot. Branco and de Lima maurad both have the pace to maurad up the sidelines and join the attack, while Fernandez and Carneiro are stay-at-home fullbacks, better suited to preserving a lead than gaining one. With the fast pace of qualifying overlapping with club play, the ability to rotate these players will be crucial.
Paulinho still lacks for good options in the midfield in a roster stacked with good attackers and fullbacks. The midfield was at its best when all three players were going box-to-box, but there may simply not be enough talent in the pool for that to be a sustainable strategy. Paulinho has cleaned house from the Baptism group, removing the elder Ferreira brother and moving the younger into a starting position at right mid to replace Glaucio Santos. To fill in for the older midfielders, he has called up Angelo Martins from Copa Maçarica champions Natal and Vitor Rego, the wunderkind CDM at Sao Vicente. The former is expected to provide relief anywhere in the midfield, while the former will likely be deployed as a defensive substitution in the center.
If it isn't broke, don't fix it. Adalberto Montenegro continues to damn the critics by playing brute-force, athletic football and being bigger and stronger than most defenders he comes up against. His partner in crime, Carriço, showed something of a renewal in form in Bollonich, spreading defenses wide and feeding Montenegro for goal after goal, while the left winger was something of a rotating cast. Silveira is a versatile forward, capable of scoring with both feet, while Gouveia has the sort of pace and aggression you'd expect from a nineteen year-old playing in Tikariot. Botehlo is a like-for-like with Montenegro, though he isn't nearly as likeable.

Nickname: The Condors.
Current Record: 45-40-40 (W-D-L)
Most Caps: 10 players tied at 125.
Most Goals: Bryan Tello (47)
Biggest Win: 6-2 (vs. Cirrus Azale / WC 87 Qualifiers, MD 1, @ Estadio Metropolitano del Guayas).
Most Important Matches:
Estadio Nacional de Huayramarca - Capacity: 45,500 - Huayramarca Metropolitan District.
Tenants: Ministry of Culture and Sports of Huayramarca.
Built in: 1968.
Altitude: 4012 meters above sea level.
Local teams: Illimani FC, Real Ebriedad, Huayramarcan National Team.
Data: Built in 1968, the Estadio Nacional is the jewel in the not so well-shaped crown of the Huayramarcan sport venues, an olympic stadium that might be a nightmare for visiting teams due to the altitude and weather of the city, which tends to be somewhat hostile everyday, even more if it's played at noon due to the sun's radiation at that altitude. Despite being an olympic stadium, people tends to set a lot of pressure in it, especially from the neighboring appartment blocks which tends to be crowded for the matches being held there (they might aim lasers from there, take care!).
Also, the walls near the dressing room have some curious messages as such: "Welcome to Huayramarca D.M. At 4,000 meters above sea level "is one of the first things the visiting teams will read upon entering the dressing room, perhaps to make clear the conditions to which they will be subjected throughout the game. It is still somewhat intimidating the following warning that is issued when they leave the visiting dressing room "Caution, if you have the following symptoms: Headache, vertigo, fatigue, tachycardia, nausea or vomiting, wheezing, dyspnoea or inappetence, go to the medical staff, we are at your disposal."
Will host:
- MD 1: vs Ochre Islands - 16:00 - Sunny, 17°C.
- MD 8: vs Tumbra - 20:00 - Rainy, 6°C.
- MD 11: vs Eraman - 20:00 - Windy, possible snow storm, -4°C
Estadio Olímpico del Oriente - Capacity: 26,000 - Sechura.
Tenants: MuniSechura - Municipality of Sechura.
Built in: 1945.
Altitude: 560 meters above sea level.
Local teams: Sociedad Petrolera, Huayramarcan National Team.
Data: One of the biggest stadia in Huayramarca, the main hub of sports in the Jungle region is located at Sechura, a city of about 300,000 inhabitants which serves as logistical hub for operations of rubber production and for explorations into the dense jungle nearby. Sociedad Petrolera is a modest Liga 1 side, but one that tends to attract almost ticket sell outs every game, since people in that region tends to be quite passionated of football in order to forget their not so good daily life. At that city, one should take care of humidity, which tends to be quite strong at times, hence teams usually play there on afternoon or night, since heat might be something difficult to stand even for locals.
Will host:
- MD 6: vs Nephara - 20:00 - Rainy, 26°C.
- MD 16: vs Martune- 18:00 - Sunny, 29°C.
- MD 18: vs Northwestern Kalactin - 15:00 - Sunny, 32°C
Estadio Metropolitano del Guayas - Capacity: 62,000 - Guayaquil.
Tenants: Autoridad Guayaquileña de Deportes - Guayaquilean Sports Authority.
Built in: 1980.
Altitude: 15 meters above sea level.
Local teams: Guayaquil Wanderers, Barcelona Sporting Club, Huayramarcan National Team.
Data: A kettle pot, that's the definition for the biggest stadium in all of Huayramarca. "El Metropolitano" is the most recently built stadium in the nation and will make the debut for international football in Huayramarca. Hosts two teams and the fan athmosphere in Guayaquil is perhaps one of the most intimidatory ones in the multiverse, fans throwing you stones while receiving, throwing flares, extremely noisy people all around and the incredibly hot and humid weather that dominates the city may be lethal for some teams when trying to visit. Rescuing a tie from here may be considered something great, since you survived the "Guayaco" hell. Hence that, teams often love to play at the afternoon, specially at 3:00 P.M. in order to squeeze out the rivals in exhaust.
Will host:
- MD 3: vs Squornshelan Remnant States - 15:00 - Sunny, 33°C.
- MD 4: vs Ottoman Syldavia - 20:00 - Clear skies, 27°C.
- MD 14: vs Delaclava - 15:00 - Sunny, 35°C

Kirkenes is the biggest city in Kelssek, a huge and bustling multicultural metropolis. The city's character comes through in neighbourhoods like Little Ariddia, Bathurst Gardens, and Lancaster Hill. Fashionable boutiques and other opportunities for bourgeois consumerism are located in the Rosewood area. The 540-metre Panopti Tower is an iconic landmark, the St. Jude Market is a good stop for fine foods or a quick meal, Melbourne Square and Caron Street are where to go out, and the Museum of Global Civilization is pretty cool to learn about history and cultures and stuff. The Loyalist Fort National Historic Site is where the enemies of the revolution holed themselves up. The city also has a lively microbrewery scene. See also the street map, and the TComm Subway.

GK Jure Iveša - 27 y - NK Čelik Raduč
Jure Iveša was born in the town of Raduč ( 195 cm, 89 kg). Raduč is a town known for its steel mine and steel production. But it is also known for the automotive industry, the production of railway compositions as well as aircraft parts. At the age of 6, Iveša joined the football club Automobili Raduč. At the age of 10 he switched to athletics, high jump, but at the age of 11 he returned to football but to another club. He enrolled in the football club Čelik Raduč, where he has remained until now. He was named the best goalkeeper in the league.
With national s election he have 72 appearance in line up.
LB Danijela Majić - 24 y - NK Bistua Nuova
Danijela Majić, 185 cm and 70 kg, was born in Bistua Nuova. She comes from a sports family. Hers mother was a handball player, today she is a coach and hers father was a football player and today he coaches a football club in which Danijela , NK Bistua Nuova, is also. Bistua Nuova won the DR Srednjaci championship in the women's competition and currently has no relevant opponent in the league. Danijela is adorned with great technique and speed, she often takes corners but also uses hers speed to penetrate to the attack.
She won bronze medal in World Women's Cup in Sarzonia.
CB Ivan Kušić - 27 y - NK Dinamo Katanija
Ivan Kušić ,186 cm and 75 kg, was born in the small town of Plava Laguna near Melarit. He made his first football steps in NK Plava Laguna. In high school he moved to Melarit to study. There he started playing for the home club, Mladost Melarit. With his games as an 18-year-old, she attracted the attention of major clubs and signed a contract with Dinamo Katanija. He won the championship and the cup with that club. Great pillar of the club's defense, with an overview of the game. He is strong in duels, fast, but his technique is also great.
He have 66 appearance in main line up.
CB Franko Rušković - 28 y - NK Mladost Melarit - Captain
Franko Rušković, 188 cm and 78 kg, an insurmountable pillar of defense. A very intelligent player with incredible agility and endurance. Strong and corpulent, they won duels in 92% of cases. He started playing football at the age of 10, before football he tried volleyball and tennis. He stayed in football and led his club NK Mladost Melarit to the second position in the league, but also to winning the cup. He was named the best football player in the league for last season, but also the best defensive player in the league. He have 67 appearance in main line up. As a captain he have 59 appearance .
RB Zoran Šutić - 26 y - NK Archer Kula
Zoran Šutić, 183 cm and 70 kg, he was born in the town of Kula. Despite his club fighting not to drop out of the league, Zoran is one of the bright spots of the drowning club. Zoran was brilliant in his position and Archery Kula will probably be left without its best player. There is talk of negotiations with Torpedo Melarit, a team that entered the first league from the second league.
Zoran improve his stamina and techniqe since last WC appearance. He have a 57 appearances for national team.
CDM Heong Min Ho - 26 y- NK Dinamo Katanija
An amazing player, fast and always in the right place. The accuracy in the passes is amazing and the technique is amazing. He was born in Katanija and started playing football at the age of six. From the beginning, he was Dinamo Katanija and with that club he is the champion of DR Srednjaci. He is 178 cm tall and weighs 68 kg.
Amazing player on this position. Min Ho have 63 appearances for national team.
LW Davida Zimmer - 25 y - NK Bistua Nuova
Davida Zimmer , 176 cm and 66 kg, a fast football player who creates problems on the left wing. A great football player who is an unsolvable enigma in the league. She was named the best football player in that position and she deserved an invitation to the national team with great statistics. 22 goals in the season, 18 assists and an accuracy of 87%. The speed in the sprint is amazing, 80 meters ran in 10.24 seconds. It has an excellent and precise shot from the edge of 16 meters and it is the most dangerous.
Davida won bronze medal with women’s national team on WC in Sarzonia.
RW Takanobu Tavano - 24 y- NK Dinamo Katanija
The best player in that position and probably the best player in the league ever. The ceiling is 177 cm high and weighs 67 kilograms. Probably a fast player on the right wing is simply unstoppable. Because of his speed and technique, two players run into him in defense and sometimes three. This creates a surplus on the field and is very dangerous there. With one jerk he is able to add the ball with incredible precision. Its market price is dizzying. In the cup against Lokomotiva Raduč, a club from the second league, Tavano scored an incredible 6 goals. With Dinamo Katanija he is the league champion and he scored 18 goals and gave 33 assists.
Tavano have 65 appearences for national team.
CF Ante Tomljanović - 26 y - NK Čelik Raduč
Tomljanović is a unique player. He plays as an offensive midfielder, central foreward but can also play as a striker. A player who has almost everything. He is 182 cm tall, which is quite high for his position. But he is very agile, strong and technically great. He scored the most goals with his head from the corner, he can jump high and the defenders who should guard him are usually lower than him.
ST Isidor Matković - 24 y - NK Torpedo Melarit
Isidor Matković, 183 cm and 79 kg , the absolute star of the league. Torpedo Melarit entered the first from the second league and Matković is their best player, the club's top scorer, the top scorer of the second league and a player who has incredible skills. His sense of goal is the most pronounced of all the players in DR Srednjaci. Incredible shot, strong and technically refined. His turn and sprint are famous. It is difficult to keep him because he is constantly on the move and in addition to goals, he is often an assistant. He is the most talented player in the league and he will surely lead the battle with Tavano to be the best player in the league. Top scorer of national team on Baptism of Fire tournament, World Cup qualifikations and both IAC tournaments.
ST Li Peng - 26 y - NK Mladost Melarit
Li Peng , 181 cm and 78 kg , the best striker of his club. He led Mladost Melarit to win the cup. In the final against Dinamo Katanija, he scored a hat trick and had one assist for the 4: 2 victory. Named the player of the match but also the top scorer for last season in the league with 41 goals.
Peng is second best scorrer for national team with 34 goals.

Aminey - Stade sur la Baie (70000) - home to Aminey CS (and the Aminey Caspians, Aminey Buffaloes, and Aminey Owls).
The flagship stadium, huge production values, the works.
Schemerdrecht - Orange Bowl (54000) - home to Schemerdrecht SVV (and the Schemerdrecht Admirals).
More associated perhaps with the Admirals than the SVV, but it's nearly always sold out venue for great crowds in any sport.
Maethoru - Rikalathen Arena (39000) - home to Maethoru SC (and Mayara Wanderers-Vulpecula).
Close to the KFA's training grounds, at least it has that going for it. Crowds aren't great here.
Étouille - Stade Amandine (30000) - home to Tanques AOE (and the Etouille Vultures).
Some amazing drone shots in front of a crowd that understands its joie de vivre.
Santa Teresa - Estádio Fortaleza (29000) - home to Miradela GD (and the Santa Teresa Sabres).
Made to be exactly 1000 seats larger than their rivals' stadium, the Fortaleza is the upper-class stadium.
OR
Santa Teresa - Estádio Marítimo (28000) - home to Branvon CD.
The working class stadium that is, in all facets, a bit inferior to the Fortaleza. Except the crowds. There's no better stadium for wild crowds.
Maynard - Armskirk Municipal Ground (26000) - home to Maynard AFC.
The unlucky Maynard team have asked the KFA to have their stadium used by the national team - as the only southwestern stadium.
Katashi - Suzumebachi Stadium (25000) - home to Katashi-Kanatsu.
The biggest stadium in the east, Katashi deserves a game. The fans will mostly just cheer for the Yoshiman players, though.
Greencaster - Golhampton Grounds (25000) - home to lower league Langward.
Greencaster is our largest city and... that's their only claim to a Dragonflies home game.
Aevanna - Northern Arena (32000) - home to university team 'Aevanna Ecologiske Universitet'.
The KFA wants some games geographically spread across the country, and so the cold, dark, and cold gridiron Northern Arena is on the list.

Manager: Ronny Tollemache (M - Age 50)
Following a second successive elimination in the group stage of the Cup of Harmony, the Toilet was finally sacked from Sylestone’s managerial role as the board went looking for someone to step up and take its place. In the end, Bollonischian manager Ronny Tollemache was accepted into the role, despite only being the manager of a low-level club, Cilaous SC in the Liga Dos, before making his way to the tropical Esportivan island. Yet, as the only applicant, he was accepted into the role as the Sentients’ manager as they try, for the fifth time running, to finally qualify for the World Cup proper. They’re at a disadvantage, only being a pot four side and ranked 65th in the world, but Tollemache will provide newfound hope for the side. His 4-1-3-1-1 formation, which can transfer to 4-1-2-1-2 when the going gets tough, is a new concept for the Sentients as they have worked with a five-strong defensive line for their entire timespan on the international front. Yet, if he can pull it off who knows how good the Sentients could end up being?
Coach: Toaster
Having coached the team ever since its debut against Pangurstan in the 72nd Baptism of Fire, the Toaster certainly knows the inner workings of the team and what really makes them tick. It pushes them hard, always trying to ensure they are as fit as possible while leaving the tactical ploys up to the manager. With this World Cup possibly being Sylestone’s best opportunity thus far for qualification, the Toaster will be pushing the squad harder than ever before to try to make it above that magical 30 point mark and up into the top three, if not higher. Can it finally bring a qualification to the Esportivans?

Brick Wall
About: Is a Brick Wall with the dimensions of two metres in height by three metres in length, and about ten centimetres thick. Lacks agility, but uses its size to its advantage.
Dirty Tactics: Ramming into the occasional striker who dribbles the ball towards him instead of just shooting.
Table
About: Like the Brick Wall, the Table lacks agility. However, to counter this, it stands on its side and is somehow quite good at bouncing. Again, it uses its size to its advantage, being about a metre in height and nearly five metres long when on its side.
Dirty Tactics: What’s scarier than watching a literal dinner table running towards you at a rate of knots?
Saucepan
About: The Saucepan is slightly larger than your average saucepan, with a radius of roughly 25 centimetres protruded by a handle of roughly the same length. It is quite small for a goalkeeper but makes up for it with impeccable precision and accuracy, even when the handle must be used.
Dirty Tactics: Hitting an annoying forward over the head on corner kicks.
Ironing Board
About: The Ironing Board is very good at using its “legs” to cut down the majority of forwards and wingers looking to break past it on the right wing. A very good tackler and has supreme agility but is frequently booked for not being able to control those legs it has.
Dirty Tactics: Break dancing in front of an opposition forward to waste time.
Toilet
About: A fan favourite for obvious reasons, the Toilet has played nearly as many games as the best players on the Sentients’ side despite only being a reserve. It is quite a stout defender, with strong passing abilities and good pace, although it could do with a bit more agility.
Dirty Tactics: Spraying poop everywhere
Washing Machine
About: Essentially the backbone of the defence, the Washing Machine’s size makes it one of the best players on the field, even on a bad day. While it may lack agility and pace, having a massive washing machine on the field isn’t the most promising sign for any forward, anywhere.
Dirty Tactics: Bogging the field with its ability to spew water everywhere.
Dishwasher
About: Like the Washing Machine, the Dishwasher is quite a large feature of the Sentients’ defensive line, being yet another large Sentient that lacks agility and pace, but has stamina. Tough to get past in the best of times, but unless you’re a snail you should not have to deal with it again if you do succeed.
Dirty Tactics: Bogging the field with its ability to spew water everywhere.
Nokia
About: Unlike many of the other Sentients in the team, the Nokia is not life-size, instead being roughly five feet tall and two in terms of width. And being a brick, it is really quite difficult to break past it as it looms ominously over you.
Dirty Tactics: Anything that comes with being a brick.
Sofa
About: The Sofa can feel slightly hard done by its move to the Sentients’ reserve lineup, considering it has started in nigh on every match the side has ever played. Yet, one had to go, and the Sofa was it. However, in the case a defender is substituted, it will be far from a burden to the back line if it is brought on. It has pace and while it may not be the most agile on the field, it can certainly kick a big ball.
Dirty Tactics: Apparently it can urge opposition players to want to sit down on it and relax. Dunno if it’s true, but it reckons it can.
Wok
About: The Wok may have never played a game for the Sylestonean national team before, but the agility and pace that some other defenders lack may come in handy, as this is one of the many attributes the Wok has. Can also take free kicks with supreme precision.
Dirty Tactics: Bongs opposition players on the head if it feels like it.
Drawer
About: A veteran, the Drawer has a calm head under pressure despite never really setting the planet alight with supreme skill. It’s a bit of a middling player, having no weak nor strong attributes although it has been a bit of poor form over recent years on the international scene.
Dirty Tactics: None (boo)
Air Conditioner
About: After a series of good seasons with the Appliances, the Air Conditioner has earned its maiden national call-up, playing as a starting defensive midfielder with its inexplicable passing skills. While it isn’t great when it comes to dribbling, its stamina and agility will certainly come in handy.
Dirty Tactics: Blowing an opponent away like they’re a piece of cardboard.
Stove
About: Before now, the Stove was considered to be the weakest of Sylestone’s three midfielders, but a couple of good seasons with Letson Town in Ethane and now with Kitchen Sink FC has named it as one of Sylestone’s best. Has no necessarily weak attributes, but is somehow extremely quick despite its size and is a good crosser and dribbler of the ball.
Dirty Tactics: Can heat itself up and make everything around it extremely hot and possibly even fiery. Maybe even the ball, too…
Bar Stool
About: The Bar Stool is well-renowned for being a mischievous character and is arguably the best player on the side, undoubtedly the best centre-midfielder Sylestone has ever seen, with a brilliant eye for passing and dribbling. It also has pace, stamina and agility as well as a good finishing touch, particularly on corners.
Dirty Tactics: Can stand on top of fellow Sentients to get a height advantage over everyone else on the field.
Fridge
About: The captain of the side, the Fridge has a cool, icy head that all starting midfielders, save the Stove, possess. Like the Bar Stool, it possesses all the attributes of a typical midfielder, as well as the ability to cross balls into the box from the right wing when the Sentients are on the attack. Can it lead Sylestone to their first-ever qualification?
Dirty Tactics: Puts the ball inside itself and runs headlong for goal.
Mixer
About: Another one of Sylestone’s best players, the Mixer is moving out of its traditional forward role to play as an attacking midfielder for this qualification cycle, still a relatively new experience for it. It has astonishing dribbling skills, easily the best in the team, as well as good stamina and pace. However, it lacks some passing ability and kind of sucks at finishing, especially over recent years.[/u]
Dirty Tactics: Spins round and round in a circle to confuse an opponent.
Television
About: It was a risky move to place a typical centre-back in this role, but the Television deserves it nonetheless after a couple of good seasons in that role and occasionally pushing up into the midfield area. When it gets a game, it may be slightly rusty having never played in this sort of position before, but it is a good all round player and has huge potential.
Dirty Tactics: Turns on a live stream of the game being played to confuse opponents.
Kitchen Sink
About: An underrated player, the Kitchen Sink throws its best at every game possible, always doing what is best for the team. It doesn’t score a heap of goals, but is a brilliant passer and crosser and has lots of stamina.
Dirty Tactics: Randomly falls on top of you when you’re about to score.
Knife
About: Once a part of the fork, spoon and knife trio, the Knife has shone above everyone else over recent years and somehow found itself in the squad for Sylestone’s fifth attempt at a World Cup. Playing behind the Bar Stool, it may not get many games but when it does, its razor-sharp awareness and eye for the game will be a handful.
Dirty Tactics: You don’t even want to know.
Spiderwebs
About: Another veteran that will be on the bench for the majority of the time, especially against top teams, Spiderwebs has been in and out of the first team for quite a while now, playing most games as a substitute. Its main attribute is its relentless pressure and despite being slow and relatively un-agile, has a good pass and is a good dribbler and finisher when the time is ripe.
Dirty Tactics: Sticks itself onto an opponents’ leg and annoys the hell out of them.
Heater
About: The final member of the midfield will be the Heater, playing as Kirkham Appliances’ lone forward for a few seasons now. It shall be interesting to see how it transitions to playing as an attacking midfielder, with a strong finish and good ball skills helping assert itself in that position behind the Mixer.
Dirty Tactics: Can heat itself up and make everything around it extremely hot and possibly even fiery.
Tumble Dryer
About: As Sylestone’s lone starting forward, a lot of weight is upon the Tumble Dryer to perform in nigh on every match, with its amazing ability to fling the ball towards goal at blinding speed making it the Sentients’ primary goal scorer. It’s also a fairly good passer and the shots can sometimes be inaccurate, but when they’re accurate they go in more often than not.
Dirty Tactics: Can pull a Fridge and shut the lid on the ball before running towards goal.
AC Vent:
About: The final member of Sylestone’s lineup, the AC Vent is a renowned goal scorer, having once topped the Toilet League with 18 goals in a season for the club now known as Kitchen Sink FC. It has pace, stamina and while it can improve on passing and dribbling, is one of the nation’s best finishers.
Dirty Tactics: Release a random whoosh of air to distract an opponent.
My opponent, if they RP first, may do the following:
