Should the State of Israel have a right to exist?

I pose this question because as an anachronistic imperialist experiment it seems very strange that we allow them to slaughter the native inhabitants like the Israelites slaughtered the Canaanites thousands of years ago just so some whites from Europe can role play as ancient people. Seems kind of strange to me. What do you think?

Israel as a whole is a myth. The nation, nor the territory it is on, does not exist. In any case, dubious guy with an Israeli flag, the people you mock as roleplayers do have lineages that can be traced to Roman Judea, and through that, to the Israel of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. That's their claim to the land, their refuge from a world that still can't move on from its petty bigotries, and the reason why they and the Palestinians still have to torture each other for a land they can share in common, for a land that shall only be made whole if they can somehow work things out.

To make a serious answer, at this point enough folks have been born there and lived there for their entire lives, so it's difficult to really get behind proposals to drive em to the sea.
Whether or not the "state" has the right to exist is a tricky thing, since you know states ain't necessarily the folks. The second French empire had no right to exist, but France most certainly did and does.

Point is, they are refugees; Palestine was just the piece of land with the strongest emotional attachment at the time, things being what they were (six million dead, continental Europe a smoldering ruin, sHitler brained and roasted...).

Arguably Israel has established its right to exist through force of arms if for no other reason. With the exception of some Arab states most of the world, including the UN, recognizes the State of Israel, so there's that. That being said no nation has the right to oppress any of its residents, such as the Israeli government does to its Arab residents, or such as, say, Saudi Arabia does to its guest workers. But states don't generally forfeit their right to exist because they oppress some of their residents.

Does emotional attachment and sad circumstances give refugees a right to remove/displace people who have been living in an area for thousands of years?
