Tragedy at Villa de Leans
The Burning remains of Villa de Leans
2 January 2132
Colfico City, Colfico
Fire and Death mark the beginning of the new Queen Adriana of Colfico, a gift it seems, from Queen Philippa, who, despite her divorce from King Sebastian and his abdicated, claimed to be queen regnant over the last week.
At roughly seven o’clock in the evening, security guards arrived at Villa de Leans, the royal residence of the former king and queen. As they entered, it appears they locked the doors and seals the windows, quietly turning the villa into a prison.
At 7:22 Queen Philippa had the Crown Jewels of Colfico, a gift from her mother brought into her bedroom chambers. Minutes later, her mother Princess Francesca and her lady-in-waiting Tiphanie Charpentier join her and the jewels, along with several of her advisors and attendants.
Suddenly at 7:42 an gun fire was heard in the Villa de Leans by the gardener outside. Two minutes later the second floor of the royal residence exploded. Screams from house staff and guards filled the air as many attempted to try and escape the ensuing blaze that engulfed the estate.
As fire fighters arrived on the scene, half a dozen people were found outside of the flaming estate, having broken through windows to escape the fire. The survivors have yet to be named. Queen Philippa, believed to be the mastermind behind this tragedy is presumed dead.
It is at this time believed that the fire at Villa de Leans was an act of suicide and murder on the part of the twenty-year-old, in order to kill both herself, members of her family and inner circle and to destroy the Crown Jewels.
Some have even suggested that it was a dark attack on Adriana, who Philippa, along with the National Assembly and Sebastian Merrimack laid the blamed for her woes. This Tragedy at Villa de Leans is one that leaves us at RTG shocked and horrified.
