Sarzonia Junior Stars (Under 21 national team)
Note: Starters in BOLD

My opponent, if they RP first, may do the following:
Choose my goalscorers/goal scoring events: Yes
Godmod scoring events: No*
RP injuries to my players: No
Godmod injuries to my players: No
Hand out yellow cards to my players: No more than one or two per match
Hand out red cards to my players: No
Godmod other events: No*
Style modifer: +2
*Stuff like choosing who takes a free kick/who scores and how is fine. Weather, someone losing their lunch is OK. True Godmods are not.

Manager: Colton Longley (51 years old)
Longley steps into the shadow cast by Diego Cristobol as full-time manager after stepping up from his primary responsibility working with defenders and defensive midfielders.

Assistant Manager: Avery Charles (44 years old)
They interviewed for the position Cristobal had working with midfielders and strikers and earned the job based on their work in both Sarzonian major football leagues, including the now-defunct women's league.

Assistant Manager: Travis Hanifer (34 years old)
The youngest brother of former manager Nathan Hanifer, he takes on Longley's work with defenders and defensive midfielders.

Goalkeepers Coach: Marissa Bingham-Sandt (36 years old)
She played keeper in multiple Sarzonian women's leagues and she married Stars legend Horace Sandt after she retired as a player.

HOME GROUND: Joe Gibbs Stadium, Woodstock (75,900 capacity; natural grass field)

GOALKEEPERS
29 Glen Baker, 21, 5-foot-11, 185 pounds, University of Nicksia
Baker won three state championships in his four years in high school. He earned the starting job midway through the college season and finished with a 5-2-2 record with a 0.87 goals against average. Assumes the starting role for the Under 21 Stars after Carlton Sandt got called up to the senior national team.
36 Jill Schlessinger, 19, 5-foot-9, 140 pounds, University of Somerset
Takes over the reserve goalkeeper role from Eleanor Keating after she aged out.
35 Morgan Lock, 18, 5-foot-11, 155 pounds, unaffiliated
They were two days too old to qualify for the Under 18 national team, but the team opted not to compete in the Under 18 World Cup. They assume the third team goalkeeper role.

DEFENDERS
3 Carlette Taylor, 21, 5-foot-4, 134 pounds, unaffiliated
Taylor is a rugged defender who often marks players who outweigh her by at least 50 pounds and are at least four inches taller. She makes up for lack of speed with positioning and reading her opponent's runs.
5 Ian McKinley, 20, 5-foot-9, 168 pounds, Somerset University
McKinley plays fullback for Somerset University, but will play a sweeper role for the Stars after the loss of sweeper Clyde Gustafsson to a torn ACL.
6 John Taylor 21, 5-foot-10, 175 pounds, Portsmouth University
The younger brother of Carlette Taylor, John plays a similar style to his sister's, although with much more speed.
32 Brett Mabry, 20, 5-foot-11, 185 pounds, Woodstock Wild Reserves
Mabry earned a starting position with the Wild Reserves after initially making the parent side out of training camp. However, the Wild engineered a trade that brought them an all star defender who took minutes away from Mabry.
7 Luis Garza, 19, 5-foot-9, 175 pounds, unaffilated
Garcia is a capable offensive-minded defender and can and has played midfield for past teams. He earns a spot as a reserve defender because the team needs the depth.
44 Pat Meyers, 21, 5-foot-8, 152 pounds, unaffiliated
Meyers won a lawsuit against the Portland Timbers third division affiliate when the team dismissed them after successfully proving the club released them due to their gender non-conforming status. The technical director responsible for the decision was fired two weeks after the verdict. Meyers plays mostly halfback but can also pitch in at fullback if necessary.

MIDFIELDERS
2 Charlie Ross, 19, 6-foot-1, 180 pounds, Portland Timbers reserves
Ross is a defensive midfielder who was called upon to play more of an offensive role after injuries decimated the parent club and forced call ups. Can be used in the back line if needed.
8 Marc Kemp, 20, 5-foot-10, 180 pounds, unaffiliated
Kemp was just released from his contract with Wilmington Wanderers, a fourth division side, when a transfer offer to a third division side fell through. He also plays a defensive midfield role although he has better speed and ball handling ability than most defensive midfielders in Sarzonia.
12 Edwin Campbell, 20, 6-foot-2, 200 pounds, Wilmington Wanderers
Campbell comes to the Under 21 edition of the Stars at the recommendation of Kemp. He brings size and strength to attacking runs that also present deceptive speed and on-ball skills.
14 Joanie Rhys, 20, 5-foot-5, 140 pounds, Woodstock Justice reserves
Joanie signed a contract with the Justice right after high school after leading her scholastic league with 18 goals in 12 matches played. Her speed is unmatched at her level, but she needs to learn to adapt to equally fast players at the international level.
13 Nestor Royce, 20, 5-foot-9, 150 pounds, Saugerties Snakes
Royce earned a starting job with the Snakes as a midfielder and scored seven goals in 18 matches before injuries derailed him.
16 Marco Benignati, 21, 5-foot-11, 180 pounds, Portland Timbers reserves
Benignati can provide depth at defensive midfielder and has played fullback for his high school. Played halfback during a televised contest for Portland Junior College.

FORWARDS
15 Suzi Calderon, 20, 5-foot-7, 145 pounds, Portland Pride
Calderon brings ball skill to the table as a forward. She can drop back in a midfield role on occasion and has done so for the Pride when her team played a woman down after red cards.
20 Thurman West, 20, 5-foot-11, 170 pounds, Saugerties Snakes reserves
West also brings ball skill and creative flair to his role with the Snakes reserve 11 and scored five goals coming off the bench in the second half of games during the regular season.
22 Nick Raiden, 21, 6-foot-4, 210 pounds, Saugerties Snakes
Raiden is pure power and pace. He doesn't quite have the finesse of either of the starting forwards, but he is available for late-match offence if needed.

SYLESTONE NATIONAL UNDER-21 FOOTBALL TEAM

THE 51ST DI BRADINI CUP

Image

OOC TECHNICAL:

Style Modifier: +2
RP Permissions: As long as it does not include cheating or killing, I’m fine with it. If you wish to injure my players, let me know in advance and I’ll get in touch with you. As for red and yellow cards, I’ll allow whatever you give yourself and I will typically post a starting XI in my latest roleplay.

IC TECHNICAL:

Nickname: The Young Hawthorns
Formation: 3-5-2 (3-1-3-1-2)

STAFF:

Coach: Eli Harman (Sylestone Image)
Manager: Augusto Rinaldi (Savigliane Image)

GOALKEEPERS:

Name Age Gender Club
GK: Georgina Fuller 20 F Emacuton United Image
GK: Timothy Jameson 21 M AFC Droves Image
GK: Vera McKinnon 19 F Fagli Cinquanta Image

After both performed well in the last Under-21 World Cup a year ago, Timothy Jameson and Georgina Fuller have returned for the 51st edition of the Di Bradini Cup, with both still eligible as people aged 21 or below. Fuller had a brilliant season with Emacuton United in the most recent edition of the Poo League - enough so to steal the starting goalkeeper position from Jameson, who was stuck as the second-choice goalkeeper behind Marko Kriz at AFC Droves.
The third starting position will be taken up by Vera McKinnon, who came through as a youth from Avondale Beach SC before being transferred to one of San Ortelio’s top clubs, Fagli Cinquanta. She may have not played many games, but she’s certainly got enough talent for selection here.

DEFENDERS:

Name Age Gender Club
LB: Hugo Mornington 21 M Z'ai'ai Image
CB: Mitchell Lynn 20 M Pittsburgh Eagles Image
RB: Harriet Zezoni 21 F Capital FC Image

LB: Isabella Cross 19 F Mühlrich Image
CB: Eden Holt 21 F Pesfield Trees FC Image
RB: Aliyah McEwen 19 F Whitepool AFC Image

You take one look at the Young Hawthorns’ defensive lineup and you immediately realise it’s their weak point. While it isn’t really that weak, only Hugo Mornington appears to have a really decent chance of playing for the Hawthorns, the national human side, in the future. Mitchell Lynn is a handy centre-back, but he doesn’t possess the quality others have had before him, while Harriet Zezoni is of similar nature. Don’t get me wrong, they’re all good players, but they’re not quite up to the standard presented by the rest of the team.
Isabella Cross is a slightly surprising selection in this team, but her recent transfer to Mühlrich in Græntfjall has allowed the SFA to notice her and select her in this team. Eden Holt and Aliyah McEwen are similar; neither have got much game time in the Toilet League and Poo League respectively, but both have the class to be an asset to this team if they get a game.

Considering there are only three defenders, they’ll all play quite defensively, although at times the wing-backs might consider making a run up the wings if need be. The centre-back will almost always be the last defender, with both Lynn and Holt having experience in setting the offside trap. Typically, the Sylestonean defensive line does have a fair bit of pace, but most lack the tackling skills that turn a good defence into a great one.

MIDFIELDERS:

Name Age Gender Club
CDM: Gemma Rodway 20 F Emacuton United Image
LM: Amelia Stanton (c) 21 F Ousevale Borough Image
CM: Harry Love 18 M Riverside City FC Image
RM: Abigail Jones 21 F Tor Image
CAM: Riley Strathfield 18 M AFC Droves Image

CDM: Adam Seekamp 16 M Freeman Province Image
LM: Rachel Doyle 17 F Avondale Beach SC Image
CM: Bethany Cunningham 20 F Veriasod Wolves FC Image
RM: Jamie Wells 20 M University of the Islands Image
CAM: Zara Wheals 19 F Avondale City FC Image

With five midfielders, it will be essential to control games within this area of play if Sylestone are to come out of this Di Bradini Cup showing the world that they are a side of the future to beat. It appears to be a relatively strong lineup, but is dominated by a few players while others in there may not be quite ready to experience the international stage. In the defensive midfield, Gemma Rodway of Emacuton United and Adam Seekamp of Freeman Province have been selected as specialists for this position, although neither have really even played domestic football before as Sylestone appears to have a significant lack of holding midfielders. The core midfield line appears to be the Young Hawthorns’ strong point, with captain Amelia Stanton on the left, 18-year-old gun Harry Love overshadowing Bethany Cunningham for the starting centre-midfield position and Hawthorn starter Abigail Jones in the right-midfield creating possibly the strongest midfield Sylestone have ever produced for the Under-21 World Cup.
Young Rachel Doyle will be playing behind Stanton in the LM position and while she is unlikely to get a game, will certainly be learning lots here, while Jamie Wells and Cunningham both will be looking to show their class if they are able to get on the pitch.
Riley Strathfield has put his hand up to fill in the CAM position, and will occasionally be making runs up into the forward position to try and overwhelm the opposition defence, while Zara Wheals has been rightfully selected after a couple of good seasons at Avondale City.

Rodway and Seekamp have a vital role as the defensive midfielders; playing just in front of the defence and trying to disperse the ball to different sections of the pitch in an attempt to create opportunities. Whoever is playing will also be the one to fill in the void whenever a spot kick, free kick or corner is taken by their side. Stanton, Love and Jones will do what they do best, with precise passing to wear down the opposition midfield and defence before passing it up to either Strathfield or the forwards to hone in on goal and using their pace to run from one end of the pitch to another in quick time, creating opportunities from things that they really shouldn’t be. They will certainly be a tough task to get past, but a good side will be able to pull it off.

WINGERS AND FORWARDS:

Name Age Gender Club
LF: Jamie Hughes 19 M Felswyr State University Image
RF: Kim Kearnes 20 F Dunkirk Athletic Image

LF: Evan Strathfield 18 M AFC Droves Image
RF: Kate Fullers 21 F Carthage United Image

The forwards are possibly the most difficult selections in this side, with many players deserving of an opportunity in this side. In the end, the four players selected just had something over the others, although the eventual reserves have a right to feel hard done by. None of the players are absolutely insane, but all possess a fair amount of quality that will be detrimental to their success.
Jamie Hughes has been selected in this team for the first time, with a year at the Felswyr State University putting him on the radar for national selection and earning a place here over Evan Strathfield, who will be pushing to get an opportunity at starting. Kim Kearnes and Kate Fullers will be playing the right forward position, despite both generally playing in the midfield for their respective Toilet League clubs - Dunkirk Athletic and Halpenley City. Kearnes has just sneaked the starting position from Fullers, but they are likely to get a roughly equal number of games on the bench as on the field.

The forward’s roles are quite typical; get up in their opponents’ defence and as all possess good ball skills typical of a forward, keep it there. None are sublime at passing, with Hughes probably the best, while all have the good pace that is typical of a Sylestonean. There may only be two on at a time, but at times it will undoubtedly feel like more.

Team Personality
The Darmeni team will never argue with the referee. Indeed, if anything needs to be brought to the attention of the referee it will be done by either the Captain or Vice-Captain in a respectful manner (or to the fourth-official by the Manager). With regards to foul/dirty play, the Darmeni team will not provoke, or retaliate against any opposition player. Darmeni's expect each team to keep to itself and deal with its own trouble makers; any opposition player who attempts to prevent a conflict by pushing or pulling a Darmeni away from the scene will be promptly told off, as that is the duty of the Darmeni Captain.

Nonetheless, Darmen will play in a relatively aggressive manner. Tackles will be conducted in a way which ensures the opponent ends up on the ground, but causing injury will be avoided as much as possible. On set pieces, Darmenis will stand their ground and will not be easily pushed around, they will not however engage in hugging. In fact, if any opposing player tries to push past them, it is not uncommon for the Darmeni player to feign resistance before simply stepping aside and watching as the opposing player stumbles past on their way to ground. This occasionally backfires however, as the referee may mistake the incidence as having been a foul in the box.

Kohnhead U-21 Team

Nation Name: The Galactic Empire of Kohnhead
Shortened Name: Kohnhead
Nation Trigramme: KHD
Team Nickname: The Moderately Sized Brains
Achievements: 4th place at the 69th U-21 WC
Team Info: Three years ago the Moderately Sized Brains went on a miracle run to the semifinals of the Di Bradini Cup with many parts on the current National Team playing a key role. Two years ago we were drawn into a very hard group with HUElavia, Sarzonia, and Chromatika so it's no wonder we couldn't advance past the Group Stage and then a year later we faltered early as well. With the U18 team looking poor recently as well, the youth talent of Kohnhead might be diminishing just a bit.

Manager
Lorraine Barber (53) Veriasod Lakers FC (Tikariot) (F).
Barber was the front runner for the manager job of the National Team but ultimately didn't get it as MIchael White was named. She was reportedly furious with this but despite tense negotiations will remain the manager of the U-21 team after guiding them to the semifinals last time around. However she has taken a job with the Veriasod Lakers in Tikariot which is allowed and has done very well with them.

Starting XI
GK: Damon Chadwick (21) Real Barnley #1 (M)
RB: Brogan Broadsie (21) Northern FC #30 (M)
CB: Sophia Bertua (21) FC Wangor #25 (F)

Manager: Kirk McDonagh Image, age 56
Assistant: Timi'sala Koarena Image, age 44

Keepers
GK: Lukáš Hanzelka, age 19, Duke of the North
GK: Jaromír Janoušek, age 17, Tanrısal
GK: Olivér Szatmári, age 20, Sardin United
A tournament after there was a wealth of talent and experience in the keeper position, there is quite the absence of it for the Young Wanderers and they are having to stretch their standards of acceptable quality to get three players worthy of being called up. Hazelka is the most talented of the three and did a very good job in helping to take the Dukes to the Peynol Youth League title, before losing to CAP in the semifinal last season. A tall, no nonsense keeper that has fairly good reflexes, he is the unquestioned number one keeper for the team in the tournament and is looking to build up a solid resume to one day be considered for the senior team. His backup will be Janoušek, a promising player from Tani who did fairly well in the youth league and shows good promise, while Szatmári is not likely to see the field at all during the tournament after a subpar showing for the Riversiders' youth team last season.

Defenders
LB: Amadeo Enríquez, age 17, CA Paulinthal
LB: Arvid Viinikka, age 21, Peynol-Lunas
CB: Nadica Jović, age 19, CA Paulinthal (F)
CB: Zizi Pálfi, age 19, Fetherdron United (F)
CB: Guðlaugur Ísidórsson, age 20, Lunas FC
CB: Annamária Sághi, age 17, Hellinic Rouge (F)
RB: Freja Kristiansen, age 20, Lunas FC (F)
R/CB: Ompoly Sultisz, age 19, CA Paulinthal
Last tournament saw plenty of Tani players making their splash after success at the youth level, this tournament it is CAP who is helping fill out the pool with several talented youngsters who have performed exceptionally both in the domestic youth league as well as the Rising Stars Cup. However it will be the tenacious defending of Viinikka of Peynol-Lunas who will get the start on the left side, having helped Peynol to an outstanding defensive record in the youth league last season. Strongwomen Jović and Pálfi earn their spots through their obvious physical strength but both also exhibit good football acumen for their age, often in the right spots at the right time to disrupt attacks. Sultisz just edges out Kristiansen on the right hand side thanks to the versatility to play in the center of defense or on the right flank, as well as showing the ability to play further forward if absolutely needed, having decent crossing ability in the attack and a good header of the ball.

Midfielders
RW: Kristin Vadnu, age 21, Stilinkeep FC (F)
RW: Sumaiya Zakiyyah Aswad, age 17, Stein-los Turkish (F)
A/MCLR: Sebestyen Sallay, age 17, Chromatik Image
MC: Martina Pernicová, age 20, Duke of the North (F)
MC: Jadranko Lončar, age 18, Hellinic Rouge
MC: Tomáš Zeman, age 18, Baskita FC
LW: Jana Ducháčová, age 17, Duke of the North (F)
LW: Dominik Sedlák, age 19, Baskita FC
This is a very mixed bag of a midfield for the team in this tournament, with a few players who have only had one real season to show their capabilities and that might have just been a flash in the pan. Vadnu is a legitimate threat on the right hand side and has quite a bit more experience than her competition, as well as being a lithe, pace merchant with good dribbling and decent finishing abilities, nabbing her a starting position. The middle of the park is the biggest question mark but Sallay has a lot of upside and versatility, having played well for the Chromatik youth team, thus gets the nod as a more attack minded midfielder. It was a real toss up between Zeman and Pernicová for the box to box role, but Pernicová earned it after having featured a few times for the Dukes' senior team last season, having that bit of experience than Zeman lacks. Both options on the left looked very good going forward or playing a support role for their respective teams, but Sedlák stands tall at six foot two and could be a huge threat on set pieces, thus earning his spot as a starter.

Strikers
ST: Nikolett Horváth, age 17, Oslograd Academy Image (F)
ST: Tine Hudmal, age 21, Stilinkeep FC
ST: Eduard Novaković, age 20, Tanrısal
ST: Zlatko Ćosić, age 20, Club Stein-los
Tell me if you have heard this one before, a young prospect of the Horváth family goes abroad and instantly starts to do well and is in the eyes of the national team? Well that is what Nikolett has done after moving to the Oceanic Territories of Eura and Oslograd Academy, as they won their league and did so in style. While not a starter, she was able to shine when she did play and looked quite the part, with some great pace and decent finishing ability. If she can work on her conversion ratio, she might just be a gem. Starting beside her as a more advanced forward will be Zlatko Ćosić, as the striker combines size and pace into a decent combination that works well as a link up striker or solo with his ability to battle with defenders and get the best of them. However both Hudmal and Novaković are solid choices to bring off the bench, both having had time with their respective senior teams, Hudmal helping Stilinkeep to promote back to the SuperLiga. It is perhaps the one position that the Young Wanderers are spoiled for choice this tournament, though all the promise in the world means little if the strikers do not deliver when it matters the most.

Home Away

Manager
Faeron Soldarian
Age: Elf
The former national team center midfielder is a surprise appointment, especially after being named the royal ambassador to the VSC, but there is no doubting Faeron's football acumen having played in some of the biggest matches and with clubs in the biggest leagues. We do not know how well he will get along with the youngsters and that could mean the difference between a successful reentry for the national team in the youth tournament of an early exit despite being former champions of this tournament and it being on home soil. With having played in the national team for so long, expect Faeron to favor the Vanorian flavor of the 3-5-2 and it's controlled possession but attacking based tactics.

Assistant Manager
Kasper Volheim
Age: 41
This is a surprise inclusion as well, with Volheim's only previous experience in management coming as the assistant to Raynor City United's youth team. However with that team having advanced deeply into the most recent Rising Stars' Cup, it is widely believed that Volheim knows what they are doing and should be a good go between for Faeron and the players and should be a good presence for the youth players should Faeron not quite have that in their wheelhouse.

Keepers
GK: Caspar Engström, age 16, Holdenburg Image
GK: Prisc Corrales, age 19, Mliona-Lpaka Image
GK: Edward Solheim, age 21, Mar Sara FC
It is an interesting mix of prospects that find themselves called up into this squad, a proven backup in the Premiership with Solheim at Mar Sara, a cup rotation goal keeper with Corrales in Vilita, and recent Night Academy graduate Caspar Engström, who has decided to start his professional career in the region of Rushmore at Holdenburg of Eura. Solheim is the obvious number one choice here, having played a few games for the Flames during last season as well as having seen plenty of action for the team in the Silver Cup. Corrales and Caspar are both showing high potential but they do not have the sort of meaningful game experience behind them at this juncture to prove to be a challenge to Solheim's spot, though that may very well change in time.

Defenders
CB: Louise Løvoll, age 19, Mar Sara FC (F)
CB: Nicklas Skretting, age 21, SC Rinaldi
CB: Angelika Baumgartner, age 20, SC Rinaldi (F)
CB: Goio Quintana, age 19, FC Capri
CB: Pär Berglund, age 19, Soldarian FC
R/CB: Florian Beike, age 16, Turoki Tide Image
To be a Vanorian defender is to ask to go against the very nature and footballing culture of an empire, of a longstanding history of being a team that likes to hold possession or press on the attack. Yet there always must be those who play back and defend rather than get the glamour of being an attacking player with goals and assists to have people sing of their laurels and importance. Luckily this is a group of players that looks on paper disciplined enough to handle the enormous task of playing a defender for the Marauders. This is particularly true of the Rinaldi pair, who are routine players for the Gunners in the Premiership, while all the rest besides Beike have a handful of first team starts as well. It will be Skretting and Baumgartner who do start with their experience and the talented and speed Quintana will be the third member of the starters, though Løvoll could definitely make the case for the third starter and will likely be given some time in the tournament to prove their worth.

Midfielders
LW: Julia Holt, age 19, Ulsa Image (F)
LW: Nico Lindberg, age 19, Ibini FC
MC: Liam Sæthre, age 19, Mâ Âlâmëómë Image
MC: Selim Estrada Barrientos, age 20, Raynor City United
MC: Olof Lindberg, age 21, Hondo FC
MC: Josefine Rygh, age 19, Mar Sara FC (F)
AMC: Emilia Torgersen, age 19, Shamrock Cathair Image (F)
A/MC: Kensel Méndez, age 19, FC Capri
L/RW: Andreas Bjerk, age 19, Burnaby SC Image
A/MRLC: Dominik Sommer, age 16, Soldarian FC
In the midfield is where the talent really starts to shine, particularly with Barrientos of United and Torgersen at Shamrock Cathair, after the latter helped AC Valanari miraculously survive their first season back in the Premiership while on loan at the Young Blues. Barrientos is a playmaking dynamo that can also mix it up physically if he has to, though he prefers to be more of a finesse player. The right side of the midfield has two versatile players with Bjerk and Sommer. Sommer might be more versatile and have more upside, but Bjerk is being trusted with those cultured crosses of theirs to play a pivotal role in the attack, while Holt is to do the same on the left and make some dashing runs forward when possible. Partnering Barrientos will be Liam Sæthre, as his time in Farfadillis has let him learn how to deal with gamesmanship and apply a bit of it himself, while being the sort of fulcrum to allow Barrientos to be able to get further into the attack as the United midfielder prefers.

Forwards
ST: Jacob Kvalvåg, age 19, TSV Marzig Image
ST: Hadi Lundström, age 21, Raynor City United (F)
ST/AMC: Julia Hahn, age 16, Hondo FC (F)
ST: Klara Holmberg, age 16, FC Yassaca Image (F)
Lundström has all the skills needed to be an excellent striker, with good pace, a solid first touch, decent dribbling, and above average finishing capabilities. What she lacks though is significant playing time, though that looks to change in the upcoming season with United as she is currently slotted to be the third choice striker, and thus she is hoping a good showing in the tournament can solidify that position. Meanwhile Kvalvåg is her partner if for no other reason that he is the only other one who has played actual games as a professional heading into the tournament, with good enough skills to warrant the inclusion and starting spot otherwise. Hahn and Holmberg are both immensely talented and have a huge amount of potential each but neither has been able to show that potential as a professional yet, though getting a chance to do so in a national team kit in the Empire is something both would quite like to do before their domestic seasons begin to try and force their way into playing time on both the domestic and international scene.

National Anthem--"Hear Our Voices Commonwealth"

Nickname--since the end of the 1960's the National Team has been known as "The Bees", a period when the team's uniforms consisted of alternating black and gold hoops. While the bee is an element on the coat of arms of the Commonwealth—a long accepted heraldic symbol of industriousness--the association was actually a reference made in an Italian newspaper game story when the senior team was wearing the hooped shirts, referring to the BP team as il Bombi (the bumblebees) for their perseverance and swarming tactical play.

Colors--Black & Gold (while they are just 2 of the 5 main colors on the flag of Baker Park--Blue, Red and White are the others--black & gold have been closely associated in the nation's consciousness as representative of the country since its founding.)

The current Under 21 roster for the Commonwealth is a work in progress, as several players who were eligible to return have been advanced into the senior team player pool; this edition of the DBC is considered a "low-expectation" venture, where advancement to the knockouts is not the top priority for Liam Sullivan's squad.

THE TUMBRAN NATIONAL FOOTBALL TEAM (U-21-side)
The Black Eagles

Image

There's a long tradition of youth football in Tumbra. Bleeding young stars into more established sides is one of the more prized parts of Tumbran culture; wonderkids are a prized commodity all around. Is this ageism? Perhaps, but the perhaps brutal footballing culture in Tumbra does mean there's a lot of stress on young players to succeed. And that especially doesn't change when these 23 lucky players pull on the black and gold of the Tumbran kit.

Last time out, a team of all male players achieved fourth in the tournament; this time round, most of the victorious Under-18 squad who went to Zeta Reka and won that tournament will be in this squad. Tactically, manager Edmund Finnegan will be looking to set up similarly to the senior team; this means, of course, counter-attacking, fast, football. He's lucky he's got the correct team for it, too — for this is the time of Stephen Kerr and Trudy Harrison.

Bolded players denote starters, but pre-match XIs will be posted before every cutoff. If none are posted, feel free to pick and choose from this side, though do keep in mind a player with the number 14 is more likely to be picked than a player with the number 20.

Goalkeepers

It's the return of the Nine from the U18 World Cup just a year ago, with quite a few members of their team making a re-appearance. Victoria Jones grabs the starters' gloves here; she saw the U18 team through to the victory last year and has been aptly rewarded for it. She is a solid goalkeeper, and is particularly handy with the ball at her feet. She is able to command the defence well, however is less good with fingertip saves, being less acrobatic than some goalkeepers. Will go for the hold; is extremely good at dealing with backpasses, preferring to pass to her defence rather than launch long balls into midfield. Ager is a goalkeeper in a similar vein to Vic; while Russell is a more traditional shotstopper.

Defenders

On the left, Renton is more of a defensively-oriented fullback, preferring to put in a shift and is an extremely hard worker. She doesn't like going upfield, preferring instead to hoof the ball forward. Is not very quick; this influences her decision to remain at the back. Chris Finney returns; a leftback in a similar vein, the young starter for Ridgewell Rovers looks set to try and impress again here.

In the middle, Stephen Kerr holds the line; looking set for greatness, the defender (whose transfer to Chromatik came with no small amount of intrigue) is an intelligent, determined defender, blessed with a natural ability to read the game and control the defence. He is able to play as both the passing defender and the tackling defender. His partner Pritchett is a more clean-shorts defender, remaining calm and extremely composed while on the ball. She is particularly skilled at interceptions. However, she isn't the most physical, and will require a strong partner who can tackle to back her up. Wyatt and Hamilton are no slouches either; both are almost equally as good as the two starters.

On the right, Mercurio provides a natural counterbalance to Renton; a more offensive fullback than defensive; providing great pace, Mercurio is able to launch an attack and isn't afraid to go up the wing to provide an additional body on attacks. Delivers a mean, inswinging cross; should be good enough to take most corners. Situational awareness however means she could be caught out by a counter. Green is similar, though a bit less adventerous.

Midfielders

It's the Trudy Harrison show here; the midfielder is a born leader, marshalling entire teams and having boundless reserves of energy to run around for the full 90 minutes of the match. Serving as the "dynamo" on the victorious U-18 squad, she is able to both launch a mean tackle and begin defence-splitting attacks with her passes. Is a bit short-tempered, and occasionally can be reckless on the pitch; however, she is composed most of the time. Lawrence is calm, composed on the ball with immense vision and serves as the natural pacesetter for Tumbra; and Susan Monaghan is a creative force with vision on the pitch, and is able to control the pace of the game extremely well. Is more of an advanced playmaker than an attacking midfielder; extremely tricky player to pin down and to track. Is able to send in free kicks with good accuracy; though physically she is a bit smaller than most.

On the bench, Valerie Morris plays more as a creative deep-lying midfielder, albeit a bit slower than Harrison, while Finnemore is essentially a slower, taller version of Lawrence. Robertson typically plays as a box-to-box midfielder; and similar to Harrison, has boundless energy reserves and particularly enjoys a good press, being exceptionally good at those.

Wingers

Valerie Wells typically plays as an inside forward. She ended up as the top scorer on the Tumbran team throughout the U-18 World Cup, scoring 4 goals including 2 in the final. Quintessential big game player; enjoys cutting in on her right foot rather than going for the cross. She, however, is still a bit raw. Her backup Alistair McGarry returns; the winger is a more traditional one when compared to Wells.

On the right, Lynne Crossley is the quintessential winger; explosive, fast, and able to swing in a mean cross. Her finishing ability is also present; she scored 2 goals in the U-18 World Cup. Extremely composed, she could have veins made of ice. Excellent choice to take penalties. Her backup Richard Baker is more similar to Valerie Wells; but he serves as more of a creative outlet on the right who prefers to drift inward if anything.

Strikers
If there's anything that Nick Riordan's scoring rate both domestically for his club and internationally last tournament tells you, it's that this man knows how to shoot. Give him a ball anywhere in the final third; and he'll find a way to get a shot off. He's been rewarded for a new contract for breaking through; something that a certain centre defender on this team wishes happened to him. His backup, Julie Hardaker, is the only one of the Nine not to start in Finnegan's formation; but she is close. The advanced forward has an uncanny dribbling ability; and is exploring playing up top like her mentor Daniel Galbraith at Perce Town, in order to separate herself from Lynne Crossley.

Tactical Set-Up

4-3-3, with Monaghan dropping back a bit to play as more of an advanced 8 than a full 10.

Left Corner Taker Valerie Wells
Right Corner Taker Tracey Mercurio
Penalties Lynne Crossley
Direct FK Taker Susan Monaghan
Indirect FK Taker Susan Monaghan
Most likely to foul/be booked Lynne Crossley
Most likely to shoot Nick Riordan
Most likely to score from close-range Nick Riordan
Most likely to score from long-range Valerie Wells
Most likely to be fouled Lynne Crossley
Most likely to attempt the spectacular Trudy Harrison

Chromatik U-21 Squad
The Junior Anomalies

Staff
Manager: Claude Pare-Achel (ZWZ), 59
Assistant Manager: Mikhail Dushov, 56
Physio: Anna-Maria Myers, 42
Formation: 3-4-3
Style Modifier: +1.5
U-21 Record: 20-10-17

After winning four titles in five seasons, Claude Pare-Achel of Zwangzug has been asked to take over the as the U-21 Manager for Chromatika, with the CFF hoping that his success in the CCFA can lead to the Young Anomalies breaking past the Round of Sixteen, where they've fallen the last two editions in penalty kicks to Rushmori nations. He'll have the best of the CCFA and some players out of there who've already made it big to work with, but with a competition as brutal as the Di Bradini Cup, he'll have his work cut out for him.

The Roster
Goalkeepers
GK 1. Van Enax, 21, Workers Union (EUR) | 6 ft 7 in
GK 12. Loree Bautista, 21, Chromia Central College University | 6 ft 3 in
GK 23. Raoul Carpathia, 15, Tikariot City FC Academy (TKT) | 6 ft 8 in
GK Van Enax, 21 - Workers Union (EUR)
One of the few who have taken the extreme route of heading out of Chromatika straight out of high school, Enax has been a prodigy of sorts when it comes to instinctive goalkeeping and having a finger on the flow of things. After seeing the likes of Juxon Fillar and Cathryn Nio in front of him, it is Enax's last year in the DBC - and he's one of the best reasons why they might make the best out of it.

GK Loree Bautista, 21 - Chromia Central College University (CMT)
After Juxon Fillar left, the next keeper was going to be heavily scrutinized by anyone with a pulse on the CCFA. Loree Bautista is no Juxon Fillar. However, with a level head, great leaping skills, and a calm demeanor, Bautista is a solid addition to any locker room that he is a part of, and someone who's going to be in the Red League for a long time. If he lands somewhere that can help further develop his skills, who knows where he may end up in relation to the Chromatik National Team. He was absolutely amazing in the Comets's run to yet another title, and is blossoming well.

Raoul Carpathia, 17 - Tikariot City FC Academy (TKT)
A tall keeper at 6' 8", and he's still growing. An aggressive sweeper-keeper who likes to challenge would-be scorers while possessing the reflexes to dive to the other side when needed. Can get lost in the flow of the match, but Carpathia has already been clocked by the CFF as a player to keep an eye on during development. Looking for a side that can help him with the cerebral side of the game as well as patience and cooperation with the defense.

Defensive Backs
RB 2. Grayson Fillar, 20, Cazadores Cathair (Audioslavia) | 6 ft 3 in
CB 3. Cylie Nodis, 20, Alnio University of the Arts | 6 ft 1 in
LB 4. Mickey Bethea, 21, Pùr State University | 6 ft 4 in
RB 13. Mickie Everson, 21, Eyrods Tech | 6 ft 5 in
CB 14. Jong Pettit, 21, Chromia Centra College University | 6 ft 5 in
LB 15. Twilight Mixon, 19, Sanar University | 6 ft 2 in
RB Grayson Fillar, 20 - 1830 Cathair (AUD)
Second oldest by age but third in order of appearance to the national spotlight amongst the Fillar household, Grayson Fillar is a bullheaded, stubborn, physical right back will will outright impose his will on his opponents. Overshadowed by his younger sister, the electric Baillaire, Grayson was the one who actually chose to finish high school in Chromatika before making the move to Cazadores Cathair. Though he says that he's proud of his sister (and he probably is), there is a deeply competitive streak in him that demands that he also make a name for himself atop Chromatika's slew of Fillars. On the pitch, he knows how to use his size to its utmost advantage, almost appearing larger than he is at times. He also understands the importance of momentum and tone, leading to his not being shy to commit a foul if one is needed. He'll be asked to lead this defense.

CB Cylie Nodis, 20 - Alnio University of the Aarts (CMT)
Once on the U-18 squad and now a Meerkat, Cylie Nodis's claim to fame is being perhaps the most offensive center back in Chromatik history. With a nose for the ball on every set piece, some deep crosses and the ability to thread the needle using either foot, it's been stated that she should change to a Defensive Midfielder at times. She's set in her ways, though, and insists she should play at fullback. (Un)fortunately, she's proficient enough that nobody can really force her to do anything otherwise.

LB Mickey Bethea, 21 - Pùr State University (CMT)
A physical specimen who prefers to take his opponents to the ground, Bethea was the backbone behind the Crusaders' sudden charge to the top of the CCFA tables. Always being considerate enough to not be carded, Mickey is a jolly fellow who just doesn't mind getting his hands dirty. Making tackles that set the tone of the matches he played in, Mickey Bethea will be an enforcer for many years somewhere.

RB Mickie Everson, 21 - Eyrods Tech (CMT)
Would be starting if it wasn't for Grayson Fillar. Everson is very nimble for a right back that can move up and down the field with ease. A clean tackler who knows how to avoid fouls, she does tend to over pursue at times, which can lead to some lowlights. That means that she just needs to figure out the mental side of the game - a perfect place to be while in university.

CB Jong Pettit, 21 - Chromia Centra College University (CMT)
Jong is a fit runner who can run all game long and not be tired. He lacks a bit in aggression, but makes up for it in presence, in transition, in being at the right place at the right time. A work in progress, but a bright gem.

LB Twilight Mixon, 19 - Sanar University (CMT)
A previous U-18 starter, Twilight is a force to be reckoned with both defending and scoring off of set pieces. She also has the fundamentals to play the position, but it's her offensive side of things that really stands out.

Midfielders
RM 5. Martha Baum, 19, Z'ai'ai Institute of Technology | 5 ft 9 in
CM 6. Kaia Larriet-Cortes, 21, La Nueva Avenida (Farfadillis) | 6 ft 5 in - VICE-CAPTAIN
CM 7. Baillaire Fillar, 19, Cazadores Cathair (Audioslavia) | 6 ft 3 in - CAPTAIN
LM 8. Miranda Andersen, 21, Vilharady Owls FC (Tikariot) | 6 ft
RM 16. Regenia Stauffer, 21, Southern Chromatik University | 6 ft 9 in
CM 17. Jacklyn Chung, 21, Eyrods Tech | 6 ft 5 in
CM 18. Boleslava Aleksandrova, 20, Staramara Tech University | 6 ft 3 in
LM 19. Moreno Keel, 17, Myana Northwestern High School | 6 ft 1 in
RM Martha Baum, 19 - Z'ai'ai Institute of Technology (CMT)
Martha Baum has the entirety of the CCFA on notice to see where she'll go to, if she isn't whisked away abroad beforehand. She may be a bit short, but with precise passing skills and a flair of the dramatic, there's definitely potential there. She does prefer to be under the radar, though, which has been the only stumbling block on a promising early career. If she can get some confidence, though? Her stock would rise almost as fast as someone like Kuznetsov.

CM/DM Kaia Larriet-Cortes, 21 - La Nueva Avednida (FFD)
Third in a line of very capable defensive midfielders behind Enigma Armageddon and Kateryna Zuniga, Kaia Larriet-Cortes grabs the attention due to her last name. Niece to the late Franscesca Larriet-Cortes, Chromatika's first Manager and martyr in the Rainbow Revolution, Kaia is an even-keeled Defensive Midfielder who is best described as a younger, female Enigma Armageddon. Both of them are imposing, both of them lead on the pitch, and both of them know how to contribute offensively when needed. Where Enigma commands attention by physical presence, hers is more subtle, being in all the right places at right times. On this squad, she'll be the visionary.

CM/AM Baillaire Fillar, 19 - 1830 Cathair (AUD)
The flashiest of the Fillars, Baillaire subscribes to the Hermaeus Mora/Haley Hauser school of Attacking Midfielders, or, shoot first and ask questions later. With a creative and dramatic flair that doesn't really exist in other Chromatiks from the past, Baillaire is a playmaker through and through. After an AOCAF where she showed some moxy while filling in for Hauser in an injury, she's the reason why there's talk that Chromatik NT Manager Richard Valens and Assistant Manager Tim Landers might try to come up with a formation to field the combination of Kuznetsov, Hauser, and Baillaire Fillar. For this tournament, though? She's been given a License to Kill and shoot on sight.

LM/LW Miranda Andersen, 21 - Vilharady Owls FC (TKT)
Miranda Andersen is ambidextrous winger who has all the skills to be a great player but struggles with motivation and the killer instinct to properly take advantage. Her years in Tikariot have helped her a bit, but she's rather happy with deploying deep crosses and being an assist-focused player first. She can also play at winger as needed, which is interesting as Edith Fillar is a Left Winger who can also play at Left Midfield. How Hayashida looks to use that will be telling.

RM Regina Stauffer, 21 - Southern Chromatik University (CMT)
Stauffer is tall. Very tall. What does she do with that? Run like a gazelle, impose upon defenders, head in some goals at the end. Is she a bit raw? Yes. Is there talent? Undoubtedly.

CM Jacklyn Chung, 21 - Eyrods Tech (CMT)
An unspectacular player who surprises people by just how persistent he is. Never taking lying down for an answer, Chung is all effort - and it shines through when everyone is getting fatigued at the end of the match.

CM Boleslava Aleksandrova, 20 - Staramara Tech University (CMT)
Would be a name to watch if Chromatika wasn't so stacked at this position already. Boleslava, who hails from the Ukranian/Russian side of the northeast corner of Myana Island, is a holding midfielder with the ball skills to either transition up the pitch with the attack or safely help out the defense. This versatility can potentially help her in her future with the national team - for now, she's still forming to become the player she was meant to be.

LM Moreno Keel, 17 - Myana Northwestern High School (CMT)
Part of the squad that almost ended Chromatik U-18's run to the Youth League title, Keel has an eye for flair and creativity that isn't present in most Chromatiks. Famed for a stutter-step that can juke unsuspecting opposition, his only drawback is the health of his left ankle, which has given him trouble in his young career. If he can keep that under control, he's got a good future ahead of him.

Forwards
RW 9. Emilie Kruetzberg, 20, Z'ai'ai Institute of Technology | 6 ft 3 in
ST 10. Karra Oveni, 19, Colonial Sile (Vilita) | 6 ft 5 in
LW 11. Edith Fillar, 16, Shamrock Cathair (Audioslavia) | 5 ft 7 in
RW 20. Gerry Hawtorne, 18, Lhor U-18s | 6 ft 2 in
ST 21. Hank Killian, 21, Oslograd Academy (Euran Oceania Territories) | 6 ft 4 in
LW 22. Ladonna Womack, 21, Eyrods Tech | 6 ft 10 in
RW Emilie Kruetzberg, 20 - Z'ai'ai Institute of Technology (CMT)
Recognizable due to a magnificent mane of red hair, Emilie Kruetzberg is a dynamic playmaker who burst into the scene last season for the Hellcats. She is a swarmer, endlessly trying to be around the ball on the attacking end to tire out the defender and take the shot. She can be a tad overaggressive at times - she led the CCFA in offside calls last season - but she scores or contributes to scoring chances enough times to make up for it.

ST Karra Oveni, 19 - Colonial Sile (VIL)
The model Chromatik striker of the new school, that is, the supportive striker, Oveni is someone who doesn't mind getting by on rebounds and letting other positions have a chance at goals. She can take over games by her persistent presence in front of the goal and her ability to work with other playmakers.

LW/LM Edith Fillar, 16 - Chromatik Central High School (CMT)
The youngest of the Fillars, Edith is the next coming of Megan Kelly, or the Chromatik winger who's short but can run circles around would-be defenders and take over the game due to where she is on the pitch. She may not be the quickest off the ball, but she has the relentlessness that has been present on many great Chromatik wingers. With the mindset of a drill sergeant who is definitely the strictest on herself, Edith's career is just beginning.

RW Gerry Hawthorne, 18 - Lhor U-18s (CMT)
A model citizen on and off the pitch whose demeanor is so disarming that he can catch opponents flat-footed. Possesses an assassin's mindset of deciding when the right moment to strike is and then making the most of the opportunity. Gerry does not intend to attend the CCFA after his Lhor U-18s career is over.

ST Hank Killian, 21 - Oslograd Academy (EOT)
Hank Killian plays bigger than he is, often times boxing out defenders on corners to be the one to head the ball in. Hank is not a conventional player, looking to do things over the top - sometimes too strange to amount to be anything, but at least it'll be entertaining.

LW Ladonna Womack, 21 - Eyrods Tech (CMT)
Very tall for an attacking player, Womack is good with her head and little else. Best used twenty minutes at a time to take up space and head in goals, she's been trying to work on other aspects of her game, which remain a bit subpar. Thankfully for her, her heading skills are worth a spot on this roster.
Usual Starting Lineup:
ENAX
FILLAR, G. - NODIS - BETHEA
BAUM - LARRIET-CORTES - FILLAR, B. (C) - ANDERSEN
KRUETZBERG - OVENI - FILLAR, E.

The Federation of Mertagnian Football Presents...
Image
The Mertagnian National U-21 Football Team
for the DBC 51

Our History:

Mertagne, a recently returned and growing nation, is continuing to open itself up to the world once more by showing off the best of the upcoming generation of Mertagnian football. Some of these players may be the next Bradley Birch, Val Kylx, Simeone Di Bradini or Laborious Hawk, or at the very least they could have an average career and run off into punditry. Some of that path will be paved during the 51st Di Bradini Cup, a tournament that is not only paving the careers of these younger players, but also the hopes and dreams of a nation after a disastrous regional tournament.

Our Key Staff:

Manager: Kristie Ettrick, 39 Image
Kristie Ettrick cut her teeth playing football in the city of Neorudo, playing in and around the mountainous city during the Insulation. This has led her to develop an very attacking style of football that seeks to punish the opposition in the centre third before bringing the ball all the way to the opposing goal and scoring. She's not a fan of scoring from set pieces, and will be drilling the squad to make the best of their control of the ball on the pitch.

Due to her nature, the team's style mod will be +3. She'll be drilling them into a 2-3-5 Pyramid Formation with a tucked in centre forward - affectionately termed the 'death by love' formation within the squad. This typically presses the attack in the first part of the game to build a quick lead, and then substitutes players in who are more defensively minded to keep that lead throughout the final parts of the match.

Assistant Manager: Ben Holl, 36, Image
Ben Holl is a bit more laid back than his boss. Spending his footballing career struggling to get The Inner Circle of Ist to actually turn up to more than half of their games in their loose regional league during the Insulation, he's really hoping to instill a sense of duty in the younger players that will elevate them to the top - and ensure they don't get too cocky.

Boot It!: Much Change For The Young Jags!

Nickname: Jaguars (official)/Jags (short form)/Blue and Orange (commonly-used informal)/Young Jags (Team Specific)

After a very long 2 year period, Philip van Oosterend and his Young Jags are finally back and after the biggest turnover this team has ever seen, only 11 of the 23 players taking part in the 51st Di Bradini Cup in Valanora were in this squad for the 50th - even Philip's own brother, Max, has moved on to the senior set up just in time for IAC13. While most of these 23 players are unknown to the public eye, PvO hopes new captain Kim Choi-Ya and his VC in Jose Lozano de la Cruz can inspire the new generation to build off the successes of the past. No matter who we play in this tournament, the new blood will be ready to prove themselves no matter what!

The Bollonischian National U-21 Football Team

The Bollonischian Football Federation

The 51st Di Bradini Cup will be the first international competition where the young U-21 side from Bollonich will be making their first steps in an international competition. Out of the 21 players selected, 7 players have already represented the main team in previous competition such as the World Cup Qualifying and also the Even Frostier Cup in Græntfjall.

Coaching Staff

Manager - Gildiric Likhijo (Age - 60)
Head Coach - Dáša Dieter (Age - 51)

Squad

Goalkeepers
Shirt Name Pos. Age Club
#1 Fredirico Valvi [vc] GK 20 Avondale City FC Image
#24 Tamni Aubrey Earl GK 21 Vreton City FC Image
#39 Randolph Whittle GK 19 Real Pablo FC Image

The position of goalkeeper presented the selectors with the hardest choice of them all as a decision had to be made on whether Valvi or Earl would get the chance to play. Valvi had been showing his skill with the national team in the opportunities given to his, meanwhile Earl had had his best season with Vreton City winning him the Goalkeeper of the Season award in their winning campaign. In the end the decision to start Valvi was reached owing to his greater international experience, however Tamni Aubrey Earl remains an integral part of the goalkeeping department for both the U-21 and the National teams as Earl is rumoured to be called up for the upcoming World Cup Qualifying.
Randolph Whittle is a player who's new to the international realm of football, but his commendable performance with Real Pablo FC in the first season of the TPL has lead to him being called up to potentially display his skill and become a more important member of the U-21 squad in the years to come.

Defenders
Shirt Name Pos. Age Club
#2 Pierce Patrick CB 21 Vreton United Image
#3 Talia Courtney CB 20 East Akusha CF Image

#13 Matty Gore CB 21 Fermont United Image
#29 Glenn Baines CB 20 West Akusha CF Image

#18 Leanna Winton RB 19 Vreton City FC Image
#4 Elma Bobbi Nielson LB 19 Vreton City FC Image
#24 Jabril Conde LB 18 Other Side of Paradise Image

The Bollonischian National team defense is an ageing part of the the team and this is even more visible in the defensive part of the Di Bradini Cup roster as it features no national team players. This means that the defense is not the strongest area of the young Bollonischian team but these young players have certainly shown their prowess in the previous TPL season. Vreton City started Bobbi Nielson would be one to look out for as her performances in the past season have been spectacular and Leanna Winton's transfer to Vreton City is also proof of the talent she possesses. Starting in the centre back roles will be Pierce Patrick and Talia Courtney who are important squad members at their respective clubs. Lexie Rimmer will be assuming her usual right back role which she plays in for Real Pablo FC.

Midfielders
Shirt Name Pos. Age Club
#6 Ed Douglas CM 20 SC Lagos Image
#8 Archer Wheelock CM 18 East Akusha CF Image
#15 Domenic Law CDM 21 Inter Maoli Image
#22 Alexis Fleming CDM 21 Fermont United Image
#10 Bryant Marshall [c] CAM 21 Virtus Redoccio Image
#36 Lynda Botterill CAM 18 Vreton United Image

If the defense was not stacked at all, the midfield could not be any more stacked with all 3 of the starters having made international appearances. Bryant Marshall, captain and leader on the field is a relatively experienced player of the national team, recording 30 appearances with both goals and assists in double figures. It would be expected of him to continue his fabulous performances and attempt to lead his side to victory with the armband around his arm. In a more deeper role is the 21 year old Inter Maoli player, Domenic Law, who recorded only 1 appearance with the national team in the Copa Rushmore campaign but his impressive performances will be certain to warrant him being selected for the World Cup Qualifying. His presence in the midfield helps solidify a rather dynamic midfield. And the player finishing off this star studded midfield would be Ed Douglas, another National Team player with 20 appearances for country. The overall midfield trio of the three would certainly be something other teams would need to watch out for.

Forwards
Shirt Name Pos. Age Club
#11 Buck Moreno RW 18 Fermont United Image
#21 Zeph Doctor RW 19 East Akusha CF Image
#7 Morton Waller LW 21 Maihar United Image
#14 Madelyn Washington North LW 20 Vreton United Image
#9 Linden Hayes ST 20 Signal Dannin Image
#12 Lesia Cheshire ST 20 Real Pablo FC Image

The attacking trio of Buck Moreno, Morton Waller and Linden Hayes would be something all the opponents would need to watch out for as two out of the three players are national team players with Buck Moreno often being a guaranteed starter. Buck Moreno having completed his sale to Fermont United from Vreton City FC, showed his worth to the Fermont United board and manager by his all round brilliance for both the national team and Vreton City FC. Morton Waller is an important part of promoted side Maihar United whose heroics combined with the effort of his teammates allowed them to brush past all opposition and made their way to the TPL. Linden Hayes will serve as the tip of the attack and be at the end of most attacks putting them in. Known for his clinical finishing, his performance will be important if success is to be achieved.

Note: In the Adabian timeline, the U21 World Cup takes place around August 2034. Age is as of August 1, 2034.

The Adabian Under-21 National Football Team

I learned all about life with a ball at my feet.
-Ronaldinho

BACKGROUND
With Adab resuming its participation in international football in earnest after a hiatus of nearly fifteen years, regeneration of the team became nominally a top priority… and also one that practically received little attention. The Adab squad that took to the pitch starting from the Independents Cup 12 and the World Cup 88 qualifiers last year consisted of a mixture of young prospects and aging veterans. Four of them had played in the pre-hiatus team and were regarded as key players in the new squad, especially goalkeeper Mohammed Marramzi and forward Enlilbani Yargab; all four of them ranged in age from 33 to 35. Funding and administrative disputes between the Adab Football Association and the Imperial Palace meant that the AFA did not have the time to register additional players beyond the 11-men starting lineup, and in any case would not have been able to pay for travel costs and protection for those additional players anyway. Thus the Adab team found themselves playing without any substitutes. They were lucky that no one got injured or red carded, as the loss of just one man would have massively impacted the team’s tactics and prospects in tournaments. But the AFA knew that their luck could not run forever, and they finally set up under-21 and under-18 teams. With the U21 World Cup (Di Bradini Cup) approaching, Rashid Abbas, the younger assistant manager for Saad Kaykali in the senior national team, was selected by the AFA and Kaykali to head the U21 team, a job which he accepted albeit with some trepidation. Abbas quickly set to work, putting the youngsters through an arduous training regime, intent on performing well at the Di Bradini Cup and most of all securing the future of Adabian football.

Two members of the U21 squad have played - and, in fact, have scored goals - for the senior national team. Emma Arthur and Alulim Sinmuballit were appointed captain and vice-captain, respectively, and it is hoped that their experience will help the rest of the U21 team as they navigate the Di Bradini Cup. Abbas himself is upbeat about the team's prospects, telling journalists, "The next generation of Adabian football is ready to shine."

KIT

The national team's kits, designed by Ahmad Enlil (the first President of the Football Association) in 1907, are currently manufactured by Shining Sun Company, owned by Rahman Ashurbanipal, businessman and grandson of Emperor Tizqar III.

STAFF
Manager: Rashid ABBAS - Male – born February 15, 1987 (age 47)
With his older co-assistant manager Inimabakesh Thulus intent on staying by Saad Kaykali’s side in the senior national team, Abbas is the obvious, unanimous choice for manager of the under-21 national team. Stern but caring, Abbas is popular among the youngsters, with his reputation as a Faraby legend preceding him. While it is not openly said, there have been whispers that the U21 job is Abbas’ audition for the role of sole assistant manager of the senior national team once the 67-year-old Thulus retires, and maybe even more…

Assistant manager and general coach: Yitzhak BENNETT - Male – born September 20, 1976 (age 57)
A highly popular and stabilizing influence in the senior national team, Bennett is keen to carry on the good vibes – and successful coaching – to the U21 team. He and Abbas have established a good working relationship in the senior team, which will prove to be more important than ever as they lead the youngsters to international glory.

Goalkeeping coach: Faishal AR-RASHID - Male – born August 14, 1978 (age 55)
Ar-Rashid insists that he has energy to operate as goalkeeping coach for both the senior and U21 teams and is looking forward to his new job. “It’s always good when you see young people coming up the ranks, emerging from the academies and training camps,” he said. “I can’t wait to work with them.”

Physio: Hamza RIDHA - Male – born January 15, 1983 (age 51)
The ever-loyal and reliant senior national team physio, he did not hesitate when Abbas asked him to help out with the U21 squad. Commands the unanimous respect of fellow staff and players.

STADIUM
Image

Adab City Stadium, the pride and joy of Adabian football, was completed in 1940. Located in the northern part of Adab City, the stadium was able to accommodate 40,000 people at the time of its opening. Renovations in 1978 made it an all-seater stadium and expanded its capacity to 55,350. Later it increased to 75,000 following upgrades in 2009-10 and then 76,500 after another upgrade in 2019. It is currently home to the Adabian national football team and Adab City FC.

TACTICS AND FORMATION
The team will use 4-3-2-1, the "Christmas tree" formation, with an emphasis on attacking play and taking advantage of their opponents' mistakes to launch a quick counterattack, marked by rapid passing from the back four - and, if deemed safe enough, long balls - through the midfield and to the front.

EURAN FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION
Eura Under 21’s – Di Bradini Cup 51 Squad

Management and coaching staff

Manager: Bob Partridge (58, Eura)
Steve Norman’s dismissal as U21 manager followed Lee Sharp and Tom Riley’s respective departures. Norman was the latest in a long line of Euran U21 managers who found themselves relatively under resourced and frequently forgotten about when the Di Bradini Cup comes around. But following Eura’s failure to qualify for the 87th World Cup, and the soul searching it prompted at the EFA, taking international football seriously at this level is back on the agenda in Eura. This has been reinforced by the appointment of Bob Partridge, former long-time manager and club hero of Oakstone, who most recently managed Ituraitz FC in Astograth for four years.

Partridge rejected offers from prominent clubs to take up this role, partly out of a sense of national duty, and partly because the EFA have made it clear that they want the revitalisation of the Euran national team to be underpinned by a serious youth effort. His reign began positively with a quarter-final run in the 50th Di Bradini Cup, which ended only with a narrow defeat to Krytenia in the final. The U21’s will be expected to go a similar distance this time, despite the woes of the senior national team in recent tournaments. The team has adopted a more defensive style than they used at the previous Di Bradini Cup, or indeed what is conventionally expected of Euran sides, reflecting the increasingly defensive nature of “Skorjiball” driving the senior team, and more cynically the limited talent pool available after several key players passed the 21-year-old age limit.

Assistant Manager: Reggie Wright (56, Eura)
Partridge’s muse and close friend stood with him in the dugout at the Oak House for many years. When Partridge left for Astograth, Wright also left the club, but did not follow his colleague. Instead he took up consulting roles with several teams in the Euraleague pyramid, and has now taken up the assistant role for the Eura Under 21’s side, reigniting the renowned partnership once more.

Head Coach: Nathan Wall (37, Eura)
An Oakstone stalwart who retired after Euraleague Season 45, Wall was a key figure in the dressing room during Partridge’s reign as manager there. He’s a traditional “hard bloke” and not much else on the face of it, but perhaps possesses further depth under the surface. It would explain why Wall has been able to pass his coaching badges quickly and with flying colours, and why Partridge has felt comfortable bringing him into such a key role with so little experience.

Chief Physio: Brandon Mead (48, Eura)
Mead is the former chief physio of several Gold and Silver League clubs and has now decided to join this new management team to broaden his experience and help his country achieve its footballing goals.

Chief Selector: Neil Stephens (46, Eura)
An exciting new appointment, Stephens is the man often credited with the enormous success of transfer policy and scouting at Directus in recent years, having served as their Director of Football and played an instrumental role in the signing of players such as Rowena Strongbow and Mikhail Jashkin.

Licentian National Under 21 Football Team

While there are many talents aged under 21 in Licentian football, some have questioned the usefulness of the Isles returning to a competition like the Di Bradini Cup. After all, players like Fiadh Buchan, Arthur Mazereeuw and Thomas Hughes, some of the better talent in the age group, have already received call-ups for the full national team. Despite that, the FALI have confirmed that a Licentian team will enter the Di Bradini Cup: it will take time to work out just how useful that will be for football in the Isles.

Head Coach – Kelvin Muir
Don’t worry Farnworth fans, he hasn’t been pinched entirely. However, Muir’s talent for picking up on the talent of youth players has caught the eye of the FALI, and he will now combine his job with AFC with a role managing the U21 Cyan-and-Gold. Muir is a man who has built Farnworth’s reputation on the development of young talent, so there was really no one else to look at for this job.

Formation - 4-5-1 (Skill Modifier: -2):
In order to help progression through to the full national team, Muir will be dropping his 4-4-2 at Farnworth for the more typical Licentian style adopted by Fabrizio Kaal and the senior team. It will be a 5 man midfield with a playmaking holding midfielder, pacey wingers and a lone striker with the ability to hold up the ball and prowess in the air. The wingers will often drop back alongside the central midfielders, especially in defence, occasionally encouraging overlaps from the full backs, and set pieces will be an important part of the game plan.

Squad:

Goalkeepers:

Aimil MacGowan – 19 years – Marketville Image
Ualraig Dow – 18 years – Gaelic Club
Colla Kemp – 20 years – Montfort Wanderers

Despite the great talents in the senior squad between the sticks, many are very excited about the future generation. Aimil MacGowan is one of two keepers in this squad who developed in Gaelic Club’s academy, along with Ualraig Dow, but the young woman pegged as the “next Caitlin Fraser” has made a move to Eura in the hope of expanding her horizons. They are joined in the squad by Colla Kemp, who is stuck behind perennial third keeper Leland Wood at Montfort Wanderers.

Full Backs:

George Turnbull – 21 years – Stonehouse Athletic
Aidan Jack – 20 years – Gaelic Club

Toby Barr – 21 years – Saltburn Wanderers

The department at full back also relies on talent developed in Abingdon’s East End, with Gaelic Club’s Aidan Jack called up at left back. At right back, Stonehouse’s George Turnbull is one of the more experienced players in the squad, having started for the Latics for many big matches, and newly promoted Saltburn’s Toby Barr is the back-up.

Centre Backs:

Oran Hay – 21 years – Montfort Wanderers – VICE-CAPTAIN
Arwen van As – 20 years – Garton Bay Pirates

Tim Bijvank – 21 years – Glenmount Town
Marly van der Heijden – 20 years – Waterfleet

The centre back pairing is one with plenty of experience as well. Oran Hay has previously been capped by the full national team, but missed out on Kaal’s squad for the CE, so will lead from the back for Muir’s side, along with Arwen van As, the talented Pirates centre half. Tim Bijvank will also join the squad, along with Marly van der Heijden.

Holding Midfielders:

Charlie van den Heiligenberg – 21 years – St Bart’s Dutch – CAPTAIN
Daniel Godijn – 21 years – Blackheath

Charlie van den Heiligenberg is the other player who has been capped for the main national squad by Kaal, and will captain the side from the holding midfield position. He will be backed up by Blackheath’s Daniel Godijn, who has been a consistent performer for the Stags since graduating from their academy.

Centre Midfielders:

Oighrig Fraser – 19 years – St Thomas
Hannah van Vliet – 21 years – Broadwood

Blair Mason – 21 years – Gaelic Club
Vigo Bakker – 21 years – Waterfleet

The central midfield continues a distinctly St Bart’s flair to the midfield for the Di Bradini Cup, with the St Thomas midfielder Oighrig Fraser joined by Hannah van Vliet, who was a major part of Broadwood’s campaign to return to the Premier League. The back-up includes another St Bart’s Parish player in Waterfleet’s Vigo Bakker, along with Gaelic Club’s Blair Mason.

Wingers:

Mitch Louws – 21 years – St Thomas
Amy Morrison – 19 years – Gaelic Club

Ùna Currie – 19 years – Houghton Rangers
Lexi van der Velden – 20 years – Waterfleet

There was no question that Mitch Louws, who started for the Sky Blues throughout their title-winning campaign, would be in the starting XI for Kelvin Muir, as one of the better players in the squad. He’s joined on the wings by Amy Morrison, the Gaelic Club youngster. Ùna Currie is the only player in the squad from the second tier, after her strong season with Houghton Rangers on their way to the APSL title, and she’s joined by Waterfleet’s Lexi van der Velden.

Centre Forwards:

Èibhlin MacLeay – 21 years – Gaelic Club
Còmhan Black – 19 years – Tekstil Ibon Image
Will Wood – 20 years - Blackheath

Up front for the Isles will be an interesting collection of Licentians. Èibhlin MacLeay is stuck behind Ruaridh Grant and Isaac Thielen at Gaelic Club, but is still considered enough of a talent at centre forward to start. She will be backed up by Còmhan Black, fresh from his move to Mytanija, and Will Wood, another Blackheath starter despite his young age.

Visitors to the Licentian Isles for international matches should note that there are a growing number of football hooligans, known on the Isles as “casuals”, who are always liable to cause disruption and possibly attack fans travelling to the Licentian Isles. Travelling supporters are advised to wear team colours wherever possible (as casuals will not attack fans wearing colours without provocation), and avoid areas of the Isles populated by violent casual groups, along with trying to avoid these groups at matches. Most casual groups will be easily identifiable by banners they carry or songs they sing. Groups to avoid (with associated club and parish) include:

Jolly Roger (Garton Bay Pirates, Montfort Parish)
Capital City Squad (Montfort North End, Montfort Parish)
Real Celts (Gaelic Club, Abingdon Parish)
Colliery Casual Crew (Colesham Rovers, Colesham Parish)
Island Riot Squad (St Bart’s United, St Bart’s Parish)
Licentian Border Squad (St Thomas, St Bart’s Parish)

Nations should also note that some casual or ultra groups may travel in force with the Licentian national team for international matches outside the Isles. Not all are violent, but most will carry flares and large banners, and make use of them to build up the atmosphere during a match. If your nation bans this kind of behaviour, please make the FALI aware so that we can warn fans travelling to your nation in advance.

For any more information on Licentian casuals, please contact the FALI (OOC - discuss by TG or Discord).

THE MANAGEMENT TEAM

Manager – Gary BARTON, Age 49
Took the side all the way to the final last time out, where it took the entire Vilitan Cove to take them down. Now looking to lead a fresh set of Dragons one better.

Goalkeeping Coach – Marcus WASHINGTON, Age 55
Defensive Coach – Robert FIELDS, Age 56
Offensive Coach – Selaphiel KENNEDY, Age 46
Physiotherapist – Stephen WILLIS, Age 47

THE SQUAD

Goalkeepers

Image
James ORWELL
Age: 18
Position: Goalkeeper
Club: Ashton Olympic

The young stopper got a few matches late on in Olympic's O-League season. More of a sweeper-keeper than Krytenians are used to; is slowly ironing out his tendency to get caught out of position off an opposition long pass.

Image
Danny EMERSON
Age: 20
Position: Goalkeeper
Club: Casuals Osteria

At a shade under six foot, Emerson is short for a goalkeeper, but makes up for it with his superb agility. Has a tendency to punch rather than catch crosses.

Image
Ryan COSTELLO
Age: 20
Position: Goalkeeper
Club: Oustia

Reliable custodian who is quietly turning heads in the Silver Valley.

Defenders

Image
Wayne SILVERA
Age: 21
Position: Left-back
Club: Sandwell Rangers

Old-fashioned full-back who likes to force opponents down a dead end.

Image
Pablo RUIZ
Age: 20
Position: Right-back
Club: Avidia United

Forward-thinking right-back with a mean cross. Plays very much like a wing-back even in a back four.

Image
Fergal FINNAN
CAPTAIN
Age: 21
Position: Centre-back
Club: Emberton Hibernians

Has a read of the game that is far more mature than his tender age would suggest. Messrs. Okano and Sinton need to watch their collective backs.

Image
Gavin HORNER
VICE CAPTAIN
Age: 21
Position: Centre-back
Club: Stanton Town

If Finnan is the brains, Horner is the muscle. Strong, but with a surprising turn of pace; an absolute ball-ache to get past.

Image
Tom CORNISH
Age: 19
Position: Right-back
Club: Bradwell Saints

Patient and methodical, Cornish is the defensive option for when Ruiz' pressing forward is too much of a risk.

Image
Alfie ZENDEN
Age: 21
Position: Centre-back
Club: Caversham

An aerial threat in both boxes. Can be a bit clumsy in the tackle, though.

Image
Adam CAMPBELL
Age: 20
Position: Left-back
Club: Dereapolis City

Excellent interceptor of the ball, his skills helped the Derries to promotion and a deep run in the Liga B Trophy.

Image
Jude CASH
Age: 17
Position: Centre-back
Club: Beckton Supermarine

Hulking great unit of a defender. How this guy is still in his teens is beyond us.

Midfielders

Image
Enda DOYLE
Age: 18
Position: Central midfield
Club: Emberton Hibernians

Ball-winning midfielder who likes to control proceedings from a decent position. Expect the likes of Stewart and Glass to hang back in the slot to add options for his passing.

Image
Anthony TAYLOR
Age: 20
Position: Right midfield
Club: Mercia Bromham

Taylor loves to run at defenders and cause problems. If Ruiz is bombing forward, don't be surprised if he cuts inside to sniff out a chance.

Image
Graham VORN
Age: 20
Position: Left midfield
Club: Emberton Reds

Comfortable with the ball at his feet, Vorn likes to draw defenders into the tackle before using his skillful footwork to either draw a foul or find a team-mate.

Image
Carlos SENNA
Age: 18
Position: Left midfield
Club: Avidia City

Diminutive but speedy, Senna is brimming with confidence. Set-piece specialist; there are few in the game better at taking corners. Vdarans don't rate him for some strange reason.

Image
Shaun APPLETON
Age: 17
Position: Right midfield
Club: Ousevale Borough

Callow youngster has impressed in his rare starts for the Tigers. Classy crosser of the ball.

Image
Jack XOUSA
Age: 20
Position: Central midfield
Club: Caversham

Attack-minded midfielder and master of the quick pass. Likely to get minutes if Krytenia are in desperate need of a goal.

Forwards

Image
Travis STEWART
Age: 18
Position: Forward
Club: Ousevale Borough

More of an advanced midfielder than a forawrd, Stewart isn't afraid to work from deep to create opportunities.

Image
Ian OSMAN
Age: 21
Position: Forward
Club: Oustia

Clinical finisher who'll be revelling in better service than he gets at Oustia.

Image
Ronan GLASS
Age: 21
Position: Forward
Club: Emberton Hibernians

Glass but has a lethal left peg, and an eye for goal. He can also create chances with the best of them, as club team-mate Ciaran Rafferty will attest.

Image
David KING
Age: 19
Position: Forward
Club: Ashton Olympic

Not the most creative of souls, but has the ability to get onto a pass like nobody's business.

Image
Anthony FRANCO
Age: 20
Position: Forward
Club: Stanton Town

He may not be a Kennedy, but he does the job for Stanton.

Image
Alistair MACKAY
Age: 20
Position: Forward
Club: Caledon Simpson

Burly left-footed striker. Looks a bit Audioslavian.

Cabo Azure U21 Football Team-"Las Macaricitas"
As part of its ongoing investment in youth football, the AFF fields a team in its first-ever multiversal football tournament. This roster looks substantially similar to the side that scored a total of one goal in the Campionato Rushmori Juvenil last fall, but with that experience plus an additional season of club football under their collective belt, fans are hopeful that the "Macaricitas" can show up and show out on the multiversal stage. This team does include a few new faces, among them a few key players from the Cabo Azure side which unexpectedly made its way to the final of the U-17 edition of the Campionato Rushmori Juvenil.

Of note, previous U-20s coach Gabriel de Souza was sacked following the CRJ and replaced with senior team assistant Vicente Cabrera.

The Goalkeepers
GK-Vicente Leitão-19 y/o-Vilhardy Owls (TKT)
GK-Pedor Texeira-19 y/o-Sudeme SC (BOL)
GK-Valter Monteiro-16 y/o-Pemba

A true 1A/1B situation with Leitao and Texeira, as neither was particularly impressive in the CRJ, where the Macaritas had a jaw-dropping -15 goal differential. Monteiro looked strong with the U17s and may see some starts if the other two put up scorelines like they did in Oberour ar Moro.

The Defenders
RB-Deodato Medeiro-18 y/o-Free Agent
CB-Adão Moniz-20 y/o-Reschensreppur (GRF)
CB-Donato Brandão-18 y/o-SC Lagos (BOL)
LB-Marcelinho Costa-20 y/o-Regium Immortal (OAM)
DF-Emilio Couto-18 y/o-Regiis Dreamland (BOL)
CB-Leonel Cardoso-19 y/o-Cidadela
FB-Rodolfo Ribeiro-20 y/o-Lagostim

An impressively attacking-minded defensive corps, which in retrospect probably contributed to their abysmal performance in Oberour Ar Moro. Medeiro has signed with a yet-to-be-named Vilitan club, as the kind of jack-of-all-trades young fullback that big clubs typically sign, while Costa is out of position as a left back, but may trade sides with Medeiro if the situation calls for it. Couto has yet to settle into a role and may feature anywhere along the back line, particularly as a late defensive sub, while Cardoso and Ribeiro are largely untested backups from Liga Hidalgo Primer clubs.

The Midfielders
RM-Angelo Martins-18 y/o-Natal
LM-Narciso Maciel-18 y/o-Ariquemes*
CM-Marco Lobo-16 y/o-Fantoches
MF-Diniz Fidalgo-18 y/o-Pemba
MF-Raul Nunez-17 y/o-Villa del Sol
MF-Raul Gonsalves-18 y/o-FC Aursback (BRO)
MF-Vitor Rego-16 y/o-Sao Vicente

A young midfield has been spruced up to include Marco Lobo, the 16 year-old phenom for Fantoches in the second flight who captained the U17s to their second-place finish in Rushmore. Narciso Maciel, one of the few bright spots in the U20s at the CRJ, returns having being signed by an unknown Vilitan team. Rego is a unique prospect for Sao Vicente who typically slots in as a third centerback or withdrawn CDM in a five-at-the-back formation. If this team does better than the U20s did in Oberour Ar Moro, it will be because of the reconfigured midfield.

The Forwards
CF-Celso Campos-19 y/o-Pemba
RW-Dado Branco-18 y/o-Braga*
LW-Alfonso Melo-17 y/o-Portela
FW-Ivan Abreu-16 y/o-Club Safari
FW-Vasco Cardoso-17 y/o-FC Orsi (SOR)
CF-Diego Salgado-20 y/o-Cujubim

Not as maligned as the backs, but without the bright expectations of the midfield, the forwards are the group that is least likely to see a significant change from the CRJ. Alfonso Mela looks poised to start for Portela as they challenge for the league next season, and Ivan Abreu was a major factor for the U17s last winter. Vasco Cardoso will likely be an impact sub as he approaches match fitness ahead of his move to San Ortelio this offseason.

If you think I'm referring to the CRJ results too much, keep in mind that this was my group's table:
Group B Pld W D L GF GA GD Pts

In their preparation for the Olympic Games taking place on Terranean Coast, the Lisander Challenge team has come together. This time, coach Ricardo Navarre chose mostly university students. Lisander's Olympic Committee judged that the "full professionalization" of football players at age 18 is not in keeping with the Olympic spirit promoted by the organization, so it ruled that it would not take players with formal contracts to work on professional teams.

It was up to Navarre to choose only between academy players (who, even though they receive allowances, do not have formal employment contracts), players from amateur teams (fourth division and below) and University football players. With these restrictions, Navarre has closed a squad of 24 players who will compete in the Di Bradini Cup, a number that will later be reduced to 18 for the Olympic Games. 22 of them are attending university and only a few among them have been linked to professional teams by the specialised media. According to Navarre, the goals are extremely modest. Making it to the Playoffs would already be a fantastic achievement, considering these young players are not sports stars, unlike other youngsters from other countries who are already playing in teams that are better than the best in Lisander, as players in the leagues of Audioslavia, Farfadilis, Brenecia, etc. etc.

For a lot of these guys, especially those in the Liga Acadêmica Nacional, this is the last chance to be scouted by a top pro team. If not now, some of them will finish college and then get regular jobs, and hopefully join teams in the lower divisions where football is amateur, "subsidized" or semi-pro. So expect an attacking team, valuing possession with short, quick passes and looking for play from the centre to the sides, as is common in the University League. The well-compacted team covers counter-attacks quickly but can have difficulties when it comes to escaping through the middle and creating chances to score.

Players to watch:
Mateus Mondelle is an excellent midfielder with a very good vision of the game, who turned down a professional contract to finish his medical school at the University
of Soria.
Lucas Laval is the only Academy Player between the starters. His accurate passing and left-footed kicks made him famous in Grandeville. Despite his young age,
his strongest weapons are the free kicks.
Tiberio "Bitts" Venter and Átila "Atti" Moraes are a defensive duo who have caught Navarre's attention for their great physical ability and leadership on the pitch. Both
play the University League for the Université de Sirenia and are eventually on the pitch for Lutnia Sirenia FC, an amateur team they helped promote from the fifth
to the fourth division already in their first season.
Marcelo Donati and Honorio Gante had a solid fight during the season to determine who would be the top scorer in the University League. Donati won and got the
spot on the right-wing (much to the chagrin of Pessoa and JP, who would prefer to have the full College of Salinas trio upfront), so Gante must be as dedicated as
possible to steal the spot for himself and not lose the Olympic Games.

Uniforms
Lisander Football Uniforms are usually made by a famous brand known for its massive feline logo, nevertheless, the Challenge teams are supplied by NEO Sports, a national
apparel manufacturer. As usual, the first option of uniform is green, and the second option is white, but for this time, NEO provided some striking designs for the team,
mixing and matching two shades of green with gold in the first jersey, and pairing white with a greyish shade of green for the second jersey. Orange uniforms were made
available to the goalkeepers, also mixing and matching two shades.

Yes. Unless it involves injuries, death, life-threatening crimes and COVID (what is COVID? It never happened in Lisander), then it's a no. Something specific? TG me.
A college player whose performance is noted by foreign media will be scouted to the league, so if you want to give some of them a future in football, mention them.

The Principality of Lisander, a sports loving, very highly developed nation in Astyria.
Disappointing people and missing deadlines since 2013.

DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF ABANHFLEFT
NATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL TEAM - WOMEN'S

This will be the sixteenth time that Abanhfleft will be participating in the Di Bradini Cup. After another bunch of questionable calls during the group stage of DBC 48 made the Samahang Futbol ng Abanhfleft (SFA) decide to boycott the Di Bradini Cup yet again, the Samahan have finally been convinced to give the tournament yet another shot. Should this participation turn out exactly like the last time (or, god forbid, even worse), then expect the SFA to throw yet another temper tantrum and announce yet another boycott of the Di Bradini Cup. It's almost a tradition at this point.
