Welcome to The Pact of Ribbons and Steel, a region dedicated to the expansion of democracy and political freedom. Closely aligned with the Restoration Alliance, the Pact devotes itself to the international community and celebrates [color=008B8B]diversity[/color], freedom, and [color=FF4500]unity[/color].

The Pact is led by the Committee headed by the WA delegate. The founder, currently South Olpen, chooses the members of the ruling Committee. The Executive is chosen by the WA Delegate, Meretica. The WA Delegate is in turn elected by the people. We are currently going through the election process of choosing a WA Delegate.

Prince Vilnius has finally been returned to his loving mother, Queen Sinestra. The Meretican government gives thanks to the international community for its overwhelming support and their condemnations of the Meretican Genocide. Meretica officially withdraws from the war to focus primarily on rebuilding and combatting nuclear contamination.

Queen Sinestra requests that the Pact establish a capital and proposes that it be a city in Meretica to help rebuild the economy.

The workers will be paid by the nation they are from.

Realizing this, South Olpen is willing to pay the Mereticans working on construction. This move loses the government popularity with the labor unions, as it would cut pay a bit, but ultimately no one very much cares.

The Federation of Pan-European States has been heavily watching the nearby countries. After seeing multiple nuclear weapons launched, the army had been prepared incase of war but in the end; it wasn't needed.

Now with the aftermath revealed, the Supreme Chancellor has authorised one small convoy to deliver urgent supplies to Meretica. Supplies will include as follow:
•Medical Equipment,
•Building Suppllies,
•Food and water,
•Ammunition and weaponry.

If this convoy is harmed or attacked, the full force of the Pan-European States will be brought down on the aggressor. All hail the Federation!

Meretican architect Albert van Trieste proposes that instead of building an island in the middle of the ocean, a large portion of Sicily be named as neutral territory and the entire island be revitalized to save costs for all nations. It is also admittedly better for the environment, which has become somewhat unstable as a result of nuclear war.

Chrysanthemum "Chrys" Greene, an ambassador to Deblar and former Senator, has been appointed to act as Meretica's delegate to the Pact. By extension, she also serves as head of the executive council and represents the group in the World Assembly (at least until the elections are over).

The Seal representative proposes instead of Sicily Or a whole new island to build there is a different place for such building, a small island off of the Northern coast of Egia (Gotland) province, not many Seals live there and they’d love for their little island to get more visitors.
