Firstly, a small update today: Laudesia, Alistia and Numero Capitan were all added to the list of collectors that have gathered every legendary card. Secondly, answers to comments:

Dabarastan wrote:
Giovanniland wrote:I've taken a look, and I think it's nice enough to be added: significantly diversified, and I see it has the potential to grow even more, so I've went ahead and included it in the Geographical subcategory.

By the way, I'm not sure if you are also looking for cards with simply the Azerbaijani flag (as opposed to also having the name), but if you are, the lists of season 1 and season 2 flags through the Card Queries may help :)

Thanks very much!

PS, I'd been using Card Queries to search for cards for the collection, but I hadn't thought to just filter by the Azerbaijani flag. While I'm not looking for cards that simply have the flag, I was still able to find through those two queries a few more good cards that are either misspellings or alternative spellings of the country/its cities. Thanks again!

I see, and I'm glad that I was able to help. Good luck with expanding your collection!

Coffin-Breathe wrote:Sorry to have to assert (since you`re doing a great job in maintaining this thread otherwise, thank you) that there are again some collections listed which don´t exist anymore, for example "stan" by ssejekistan https://www.nationstates.net/page=deck/collection=14092

Even though it's true that the nation ceased to exist, you can still view every page of the collection, just with some extra work. If you click to see the next page after viewing the first one, the game leads you to this page, which displays an error message. This message seems to be related to the URL containing the string "/nation=x", because its counterpart without the string works just fine. Perhaps on the next update I will release a new idea, which is to reunite all still-viewable collections by CTE nations into a single category so that people can still appreciate them.

Weekly Update: this has now been done! I also did the monthly check of collections, so that I could check for any collection that has actually been lost (and not simply had its owner ceased-to-exist) but thankfully there was none of this kind. The monthly check was helpful to see which ones to move to the newly-created "Collection Boneyard".

For any nations that view this: if your collection is in that category, it simply means that your nation CTEd during the last monthly check, but instead of taking off your collection I moved it into a special list for collections by CTE nations. If you revive and notify me either here or by telegram, I can move the collection back to its original category at any time. However, for the opposite process (moving a collection to the collection boneyard), it will only be done monthly during the check I do at the start of each month.

Besides that, some new and old collections alike have been brought after I saved them during random observations: Final Fantasy by Smiley Bob, Lord of the Rings by Christ Triumphant, Moldova by A Herd of Cows, and Season 2 Beauties by Jasminlandia.

A small weekly update this time: firstly Panagouge was added to the list of complete animated card collectors due to having finished theirs on the GIF Land puppet; and secondly some minor formatting problems were fixed. Otherwise there wasn't much to be done or comments to reply, so this is all for today.

Christ Triumphant's Tolkien Collection has 142 unique cards, but this collection by Kauai Islands has 196 unique cards according to the Cards Query. My own Tolkien collection is not nearly as large yet, since it's at 145, but I will get there soonish.

Thanks for the info, I've switched the Tolkien collection link to the larger one. I did like the previous one's title better than this one, though...

The other addition on this mid-week update I did was to add a collection named The World of George R.R. Martin also by Vylixan (who commented above), referencing his creations such as A Song of Ice and Fire, that was later adapted into the Game of Thrones series.

Some small updates this week! The Tolkien collection was again replaced, since Vylixan Fantasia (Vylixan) bought cards from the previous collections and added to their own that they already had, thus making it larger. That's not the only collection to be replaced today, though, as The Last Dragon Chronicles (Panagouge)'s dragon-themed collection surpassed Rikanhimel's one and was thus added here.

Edit three days later as to not spam the thread with multiple posts in quick succession by me: A collection of communist-themed cards (also by Vylixan, but on another collector puppet) has been added to the Humanity & Society subcategory, replacing a previous collection on the same theme, whose owner Wittebosland had ceased to exist a while ago. Congrats!

In this week's update, there was only one change: Ioavollr was added to the list of nations with complete legendary collections after completing theirs. Congrats to Ioavollr!

Complete S1 Legendary Collection

And i know it's not unique/won't be added but this also now means I own every legendary card.

In war, victory. In peace, vigilance. In death, sacrifice. Commended by SC #429.

Woohoo, congrats!! Your name has been added to both the list of complete Season 1 legendary collectors and to the list of complete collectors of all legendaries. I did in fact not have a list for the latter earlier, since I probably thought of it as redundant back when I took the thread's custodianship, but I guess it's nice to have as well so it's now added: it was as simple as searching for all the names who were in both lists, of course.

Added Riemstagrad to the list of complete season 1 legendary collections, and due to the fact they had already completed s2, also to the list of collectors with every legendary: their complete season 1 collection can be seen in this link. Many congratulations to them!

Time for another Weekly Update! Firstly, Panagouge's Dragon collection surpassed the milestone of a thousand cards, and thus was elevated to the Volume Collections subcategory. Secondly, Smiley Bob's Video Games collection replaced Panpan105's one, due to the fact the latter nation sadly ceased to exist a while ago. Finally, a few previously ceased to exist collections were removed from the Boneyard due to the fact their owners revived, while one or two collections did the opposite due to their owners ceasing to exist.

Big update this week. Several collections were added, such as USNE2018's Sports collection, and Vylixan's Space one (posted above). Furthermore, some collection summaries were updated in regards to card counts, with Galiantus III's Benevolent Dictatorships and Ballotonia's Season 1 Issue Authors coming to completion. Last but not least, The Unified Missourtama States was added to the list of complete Season 1 and overall legendary collections after collecting all 353 legendaries. Congratulations to everyone mentioned here!

Nice collections, thank you for letting me know! The first one had to replace the existing space-themed collection, since it has a larger size at the moment, while the second was added as a new entry.

Other changes in this Weekly Update have been the replacement of the previous Greece Flags collection by a new one by Vylixan, and the addition of Riemstagrad to the list of complete season 1 epic collections, a feat achieved just hours ago as I write.

Yes, that one is bigger, but it's not just space themed, but also has also all kinds of Sci-fi cards, and not all Sci-fi cards are space themed.

Thanks for the comments you two. There is already a quite large science fiction collection, so yeah, I think it's best to keep the two themes separate even though they often overlap. Though now Vylixan has informed that their space-themed collection has grown over 300 cards, so looks like it will be added back.

Riemstagrad wrote:I don't know if this can go in the All Seasons section, but now i own of both seasons all the Epics and all the legendaries: https://www.nationstates.net/page=deck/collection=35443

After thinking about this I've decided to add it as well. While it does partly overlap with the "All Legendaries" collection, there was no collector to achieve all epic cards from both seasons until now, so in my opinion it is a nice achievement worth noting in the All Seasons subcategory.

With all due respect, please reconsider my collection for Humanity and Society.

I call it "The Hazards of Love" It would fit in nicely next to Beauties.

Mommy Dearest
The Men in my Life
Those Other Women
It's all about Me
It's all about SEX
Heaven knows...
Stuff which is NOT my Fault
No make-up vs. Make-up
I never SAID that!

Thank you.

Another weekly update! The monthly check of all collections was done, with some being brought back from the boneyard due to the fact their owners revived their nations. Another notable happening was that Sergeant McCool's "My Doods" collections was moved to the Volume category after exceeding the milestone of a thousand cards. Also:

After some more thinking, I've reevaluated it and in my opinion it passes muster now. I like that you've expanded on the other themes besides the parts already covered by existing collections (men and women, for example), so it has been added to Humanity & Society.

Interesting theme, though I feel like it's already been covered by your "Flowers" collection and DGES's "The Woods" one, besides being smaller than both.
