How did the protest go? (peaceful, clashes with the police, etc...): The protests were peaceful, though there were threats of sanctions from the USA and the UK. On the 4th January, the Tsardom caved, and announced that they were in the works of creating a democratic system. On August 1st, 1936, this was realised.

Reasons: The Progressive Conservative-Liberal Democratic government had announced huge budgets cuts, massive privatization and general austerity in their new budget, which was to be voted upon on that day. It would include cutting welfare spending, healthcare spending and privatizing much of the healthcare industry, environmental budget cuts and all around austerity measures.
Protest Leaders (if any): Leader of Opposition Rosanne May, Deputy Leader of Opposition Anatoli Piesiyackiya, members of SDP and Green Party.
How did the protest go? (peaceful, clashes with the police, etc...): The protest was the largest one every documented in Anatoliyanskiyan history, with over 600,000 people protesting in the streets of Downtown Anatolville, blocking the street and entrance to the House of Commons. Many opposition leaders spoke at the protest, including future Chairman Anatoli Piesiyackiya who was one of the major leaders of the protest. It went 2 days, with rocks getting thrown at the windows of the House of Commons, breaking many of them. One rock infamously broke through the glass and ended up hitting Deputy Chairman Ryan Jamieson in the head whilst the vote was taking place. Rosanne May and Anatoli Piesiyackiya briefly left the protest to vote against the budget. At around 6:00 PM the next day the protest was forcefully broken up by riot police, where protestors and police clashed and multiple were injured. The budget did pass, however the government was deeply unpopular and was ousted in the next election.
Public statements of government: Chairman Jake Fox stated that "they just don't get it. This budget will help boost the economy and trim off the excesses of the government!" Deputy Chairman Ryan Jamieson was unable to give a comment as he was getting healed for his injury.

How did the protest go? (peaceful, clashes with the police, etc...):VERY DEADLY. The protests/riot nearly turned into a civil war and is regarded as the worst incident in modern Selenan history, even worse then the Crisis of 1864. Official reports say that around 15,000 died (But some say around 40,000 died) and there are reports of more than 3 million people protesting! Many consider this one of the deadliest riot in history. The president was practically thrown out of presidency and then later shot himself. It was practically pure anarchy!
It would take years for Santa Selena to recover from this and would temporarily lose their colonies due to this.

The real difficulties were revealed when some citizens, opposed to the political orientation of the current government, started an unauthorized protest, vandalizing the streets of Stalliongrad with graffiti and burning effigies of General Secretary Altidiya Revoltsova. The police had to intervene to disperse the crowd, causing some injuries both among the policestallions and among the demonstrators.
Public statements of government: General Secretary Altidiya Revoltsova and the People's Commissars (with the exception of the one for Defense) have tried to restore calm, declaring that the funds for the military units will be restored once some corrupt officials within the state administration are removed.

How did the protest go? (peaceful, clashes with the police, etc...): Reports of citizens becoming randomly violent within a downtown sector lead to DOCS being deployed and surrounding the area. Citizens in the area were immediately evacuated and a few stayed behind to help the police locate the rampant AI. The local AI were all arrested and transferred to a nearby lab to be tested and repaired. Two civilians and one DOCS member had minor injuries, nobody was critically injured.
Gunnar and Marco were later arrested and taken to a mental health facility to better understand why they share a hatred toward humanoid AI. They were both released a month later after extensive mental therapy and each a fine of 2,000 KR.

Reasons: Many of the hardline-aligned workers within the private automotive manufacturer Kesulun Changmaoxiang Automotive began going on strike at their factory in the city of Anjing following the company's CEO stating his reformist view on Zhouran's socialist economy. The hardline-oriented workers, holding a more-classical orthodox view towards Zhouranese Socialism, began going on strike and held a torch-burning rally as they denounced the CEO for being a "traitorous bourgeois invertebrate", meanwhile the moderate-oriented workers, holding a more-liberal view towards Zhouranese Socialism, denounced their hardline comrades for being "dogmatic revisionists", thus resulting in the two sides brawling outside the factory (the torch-burning and the violent protests between the two sides is a common characteristic of Zhouranese politics).

All-in-all, around 25 protestors were arrested while 126 protestors were injured from the violent brawl.

In Laminax the protests went peacefuly with noone being hurt.
